AWFUL FOUL WRETCHED HORRIBLE. PREDATOR 2018 DOESN'T EXIST. IT'S NOT REAL. IT CAN'T HURT YOU--
that movie is just. awful. besides the ablesim it also just shits on ALL the reestablished lore for the Yautja. there was an entire game about how altering their DNA like that was frowned upon in their culture. They don't even take Predaliens as trophies because they consider them abominations.
the first two Predator movies were the best ones and I stand by that. Predators was okay, Predator 2 was my favorite and added more to the Yautja and the first Predator is a classic. The Predator is easily the weakest of the movies. I can't say anything about Prey because I haven't seen it yet but I hear it's good. though after 2018 the bar was probably pretty low.
#I would have liked it if the Fugitive Predator stayed alive longer. have them help out against the “upgraded” Predator#and also. big alien sibling... ough#personally in my own rewrite Fugi is a Yautja-human hybrid cuz that at least KIND OF makes sense then the weird dna thing they did#and the upgraded Predator is from a criminal Bad Blood clan#the armor is currently in limbo. not sure if I should ditch it entirely or make it so it was a gift for Fugi's human parent#army dad doesn't get it that's for fucking sure#r slur scene is changed to the guy who says it is cut off by the dad who is MUCH MORE AGGRESSIVE about not saying slurs before he can finis#autism thing is kinda the same but when the lady says that everyone else just looks like her like she's an idiot (she is)#also like. why does the Upgraded Pred need that anyways? your senses are already so much higher then a humans!#you already have super advanced tech! what are you going for here?! what's the point?!#it just. it doesn't make sense. it's such a stupid plot.#I have. so many thoughts about this series. Rewatched the 2018 predator movie and a brilliant idea came to me.
Imagine an au where Upgrade/Assassin is saved just before he's killed (my simp ass is imagining his mate swooping in to save him), and he gets prosthetics after he recovers.
I just gathered a bunch of photos for ref. I definitely wanna draw him with prosthetics.
