Umbris would be great with the new Ashiok card. Remember, the Nightmare tokens Ashiok creates get bigger when any card is put into exile, so you don't have to exile from your own library all the time.
“Damn, this is another tricky level in the game. It’s all about dealing with traps and dangerous enemies, and it’s not that easy. The boss fight itself isn’t bad at all, tho. Either way, Qwark really wanted us dead, no wonder this is a hard level.”

What reading or background knowledge would you consider to be a pre-requisite for starting Viridarium Umbris?
I'm honestly not sure what I would suggest, other than maybe trying to learn what you can about Eruopean Wort Cunning and the Cultus Sabbati first. Others are welcome to give their own suggestions to this, though!

Summary:
The night dragged on, as they most often did, and fWhip’s sister had ushered him out onto the dance floor— she insisted he partake in a single dance, and it wasn’t long before the two were separated during the spiraling waltz, traded off to another nameless mask in the sea of infinite people.
And yet, one stood out from the rest.

Or, fWhip attends what was supposed to be another boring party.
I think Ashiok would only find friends in someone with a very specific criteria, being a.) someone Ashiok can’t torment with nightmares easily (they can’t help themselves), b.) someone who also has a similar mindset as Ashiok in terms of fear and its artistry, and c.) someone who intrigues Ashiok in a way beyond just being similar to them by being something Ashiok can’t fully predict or nail down in their mind, as Ashiok is an artist and the unknown is likely very intriguing to Ashiok as someone who loves to discover new things.
