When people say Jeremy has no personality in the new book, I'm always a bit confused. Maybe it's just me thinking that little things are what make a character feel real, and we learned so many things: a morning person who wants his coffee strong, occasionally crashing at his friends' place because his family situation is weird, who has a cupboard cutout of a dog because he really wants a dog but can't have a real one, who puts his faith in people and sees the best in them, who fidgets with his yoyo, who studies English and who really really wants to be seen as the right role model and become an example to others. Someone who uses his kindness and his dedication to others to hide his own terrible truths. A gay guy who can stare at a hot dude for endless minutes but is blind to beautiful women. Someone who buys gift cards for random people. Could go on and on.
Idk man, I feel like Jeremy had SO MUCH personality, a lot more than what we saw of characters that we ended up loving in The Foxhole Court, the other first book in a series. I think people are being a lil unfair with Jeremy. I also think the second book will give us even more of him. I just love him to bits already.

What do you mean you haven't been obsessing over it ever since Nora announced it?
