i have vague memories of a kind of common game in actor's fandoms where everyone would "claim" one of the actor's characters to, idk, adopt or marry or something, and all the main roles would obviously already be taken the second the game started, so one time in the david tennant fandom i got stuck with an ambassador from some audio drama i don't even recall the name of, which was fine, i mean i chose him, but there weren't many options left
anyway why am i telling you this? because i'm calling dibs on steve rutherford just in case anyone in the rhys darby fandom is planning on reviving this tradition

hai! i was tagged in a question thing by none other than @warioigottawin so now im gonna answer a few questions for the nice audience here tonight.
Fav color: well u see :3 i am violet... and, as it turns out, my favorite color, despite the rumors, is purple 💜
Currently reading: im still working on the bocchi manga :3 i havent gotten to it in a bit but with the new kessoku band songs i perhaps should return to it
Last song: um thi s is absolutely a spoiler for a certain set of summer songs but ive been listening to this band operation sodasteal a lot recently, and my last song is the opener, DESCENT2EARTH on their album slaney vs sodasteal. give it a listen. perhaps it will be a sound of the summer :3c
Last series: hmmmmm deciding how i want to answer this. the last thing i watched was some spongebob last night before bed, BUT the last series i finished in full is the third installment of an anime called Teekyuu. its allegedly about girls in their high school tennis club but thats debatable, theyre off doing completely different shit. its so fast paced, like each episode is only 2 minutes making each 12-episode season like half an hour. but its so fast with jokes and dialogue i have to pause and go back a lot. its a very silly anime :3 there are 9 seasons of this!
Last movie: Jack and Jill (2011) starring Adam Sandler next question
Sweet, spicy, or savory: hmmm sweet for sure out of these, bc a girl loves her yummy sweet treats, but i would choose sour over everything if it were here.
Craving: just some instant ramen with all my usual fixings sounds good tbh. im. quite hungry actually. maybe ill eat something when im done with this.
Tea vs. coffee: i always have a gut instinct to answer coffee bc im not really a fan of hot tea which is how i imagine the platonic ideal of Tea in my head u know? and i do love a good chocolate minty coffeey beverage... but if were going off volume of drink then its tea 100% bc i destroy arizona teas like theyre nothing to me. but trust me, they are my world.
Currently working on: ahahaaaa ohhh well uhh... :) just doin my violet thing.... yknow... searching for truth.. falling asleep atop flowery hills on sunny days.... noticing..... yeah just the usual stuff i usually do.

what kind of stardew valley farm/property do you think roman would want? (sorry if this is a weird question, im high rn)
sidenote: i think connor would have a beach or wilderness property, kendall could have either a beach or river property, and shiv would have a standard farm plot. For Roman, I'm thinking he might not have a preference but may want to keep a herd of cows, which would be better in a forest or standard plot.

that being said i really love having opinions on things i know nothing about so i’m going to answer this anyways based entirely on vibes and this ask! sooooo okay i’m gathering that there are beaches, wilderness, river, standard farming, and forests. probably more but i don’t know them. you can raise cows but they’re mostly good in standard or forest but that feels wrong to me why forest? it should just be standard. who raises cows in a forest
i say that connor would either be wilderness (he would so have a walden moment if he could [complete with willa doing his laundry just like thoreau’s mom doing his]) or farming bc i can see him as a farmer in another life. like with a little stick of wheat in his mouth. it’s like party planning except the party is agriculture.
kendall would definitely have something water motif related so yeah beach or river — river gives me more ken vibes in general but as of last episode i would say beach
shiv… i can’t picture her (or roman actually) in nature like at all? however we have seen her on a beach (her fight w tom — he is NOT a HIPPIE, SHIV) so i’m changing ken to river and shiv is beach

To be honest! I dont get involved in drama or discourse enough to really rant about things for hours. I could certainly however spend hours making up shit to be angry about, like the state of the Warrior Cats fandom as a 4eva Mapleshade apologist and defender and also as someone who hasnt read any of the other books in almost a decade. Actually no I take it back. I fucking lied. Do you know about the skitty tiktok-borne romance book Lightlark? Because I HAVE ranted about the poor handling of an entire character faction from that book (in comments, which I cut down massively for ease(?) of reading) and I probably could go on for hours if you give me the time to over-explain how sex can be a good literary device and tie up so many loose and strange ends from that stupid fucking book.

i feel like you two have a lot in common, you both love history, you can debate and gush about things for hours, and you're both into animals. i feel like it would just be a constant back and forth of passionate conversations and love-filled gazes ahhhh 🥺
steven also has blue moments where he's discouraged and lost with no direction in life, but when you enter the picture he's less afraid of facing another day. you both support each other to finish what you need to get done and always encourage completely transparency in your relationship.
