He does not know when he takes the steps towards her; his golden shoes take him to her side quicker than she thinks possible. He grabs her by the neck, and she gasps; the rose falls from her hands, petals falling off as it crashes into the dirt.

His eyes sparkle gold; hers widen in response. You would dare - she gasps when he tightens his hold on her throat, then lets go just enough for her to be able to speak. You would hurt your kin? For - for a mere mortal?
Shut your lying tongue, he hisses. She sucks in a breath. There will always be mortals, she replies, raspy and tight. Why is this one any different?
I would not expect you to understand, he says, staring into her green eyes. 'Tis irony of highest degree, he scoffs, and her eyes narrow. The Goddess of Love, without the fundamental understanding of what love truly is. He closes his eyes. Selfish and capricious. He opens them again, and lets go of her, stepping away in disgust. Shameful.
She rubs on her throat as her eyes, unblinking and fixed on his, clear. They are beautiful, and green, but they are the wrong shade. They always were.
Know you what irony is, brother? She asks, and her face twists in a cruel grimace. That you be the Herald of the Gods. She scoffs. The fastest of all the Gods, and yet, she smiles, and it is poison personified, and yet, you are not quick enough to save your beloved.
He feels the rage fill him from the tip of his head to the bottom of his soles. His skin vibrates with power, and his head spins. She does not stumble away when he flies into her space. If he dies, I will never forgive you, he says, and he makes it a vow. She hears it, in her core, in her essence, and he sees incredulousness and doubt and regret in her eyes. If he dies, for as long as we exist, you are no longer my sister, he spits out, and then he is flying like he has never flown before, leaving devastation in his wake.
When he comes to the battlefield, it is burning.
The smoke fills his eyes and makes them water, so putrid it is, but he cannot care. He needs to find him. He closes his eyes and searches the battlefield; searches for a piece of himself he has left with his beloved. It pulsates; it calls to him, beacon of gold in the darkness of terror and the red of blood spilled. He opens his eyes and descends, hurrying.
He finds his lover on the brink of death; his wounds are too severe, and the only kin of his who could stop this death are either neutral or on the other side of this war. There is nothing to be done; his love will be lost to him. He pulls his beloved's head into his lap and cleans the blood from his skin, caressing his lovely face.
His eyes open, and green meets blue, and merges.
'My love,' he says, smiling despite the pain. 'How are you here?'
I've come to say goodbye, he says. You are to be parted from me, beloved.
'Oh, no,' he shakes his head and smiles that sweet smile of his, which is the most wonderful sight in the world, even as bloody and weak as it is now. 'I will never be parted from you. You are half of my soul,' he says, and his eyes are feverish, and his skin is burning, but the kiss he bestows upon the hand caressing his cheek is scorching. 'It is impossible to part us.'
You believe so? He asks, pain tearing at his ribcage as he observes his beloved's breaths becoming shallower and shallower. 'I do,' he says weakly. 'My love, not even your brother Thanatos will keep me away from you, for I am yours and yours only, heart and soul, until the world ceases to exist.'
Swear you? He asks in a shaky voice, unwilling to believe a mortal could make such a vow and mean it, and yet unable not to hope. Swear you, beloved?
'I swear upon my life and upon my death that I shall not be parted from you,' he says, and the words echo. 'Search for me when I am gone, and I shall be mindful of anyone with shoes of gold and eyes of sky whom I encounter,' he says. 'But now, kiss me, for I want to die with your taste on my lips.'
He lowers his head. I love you, he whispers against his beloved's lips, and kisses him, and lets his tears flow when the lips under his become lifeless. He breathes in his beloved's final breath and holds it in his lungs until they are fit to burst, and then he cries until he has no tears left.
I will never cease searching for you, beloved, he whispers to his dead beloved. He raises his head to the sky then. And I will never forget this, nor forgive it, my once-but-sister-no-more, for as long as the world turns.
There is a lightning then, and rain falls. It tastes like regret on his tongue, but he does not care, and it is not enough to extinguish the fire around him, for the battlefield burns and burns and burns with all the rage of a devastated God's heart.

Charles turns, eyes wide, but before he can say anything, or figure out why his heart started beating faster, there is a man standing before him and Enzo. His smile is wide and his eyes are sky-blue, and Charles' cheeks heat.
"Hello, Enzo. Yes, I'm wearing my gold shoes, thank you very much, I deserve them after what it took me to win last year!"
Enzo laughs as they hug, but the man - you know his name, why can't you say it, you know who he is, you know him - keeps his eyes on Charles'. Sky-blue, Charles thinks, blushing like a fool. His eyes are like the skies, and they are beautiful.
When they separate, he asks "And this is your brother?", and Enzo says "Yes".
Charles doesn't know what possessed him then, but he sticks out his hand.
"Charles," he says. "My name is Charles" - this time, comes the thought, unbidden, and he shakes it off. "It is very nice to meet you, at last."
The man's eyes sparkle, and Charles feels like he can't breathe.
"Hello, Charles. I am Sebastian," he says, and it sounds like he isn't saying everything he wants to; like there is a whole world unsaid in the pause he makes. "I am very glad to finally meet you, too," Sebastian says, and their hands touch.
Something slots into place, like a whole universe finally aligning properly. When Charles smiles, shyly and sweetly, Sebastian's answering smile feels like warmth of the sun itself.

Have you ever considered what a meeting of Alois would've been like with the current Dadbastian development? The anime and the 2nd season were both pretty bad in terms of uncomfortable fanservice and handling things very disrespectfully, but thinking back on Alois' character now as an adult, I really pity him as a clearly traumatised and intensely disturbed child, who through abuse has, much like Ciel, developed more 'adult behaviour' that is not appropriate for his age as a defence mechanism. It's probably thinking a bit too optimistically for Dadbastian to extend concern for those outside of his immediate phantomfam, but would you think that maybe, just maybe, Alois could trigger the same kind of protective urges as Ciel?
Alternatively, if you were to write something similar to Coattails but instead for Alois and co, do you have any headcanons on how you'd otherwise depict their relationship? Dad Claude? Dlaude???

Hi, anon! As a fellow whimsical ass, I'll do my best to answer your question. Boy, okay, lots to consider here...
First off, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the phrase "current Dadbastian development", but I'm going to assume you're referring to what's happening in Coattails because I don't think there's been any Dadbastian development in the manga that I've missed.
Second off, our feelings on Alois are the same. I was nineteen when season 2 came out and I didn't like it at all, I found its handling of certain themes pretty deplorable and I mean. It was a mess. At the time, I felt indifferent to disturbed by Alois, and ultimately just went away pretending the whole season never happened. However, the current fandom has made me realize that Alois is a character with a lot of potential who was definitely in the wrong hands. It's very sweet to me how many fans still care for him as if he were their adopted son and have come out with some extremely creative and realized content of him. It gives me a better appreciation for him and what he could have been.
So now to actually attempt your question. Again, assuming you're asking about Coattails, Sebastian is only really interested in being a parent to Ciel and a caretaker of varying degrees to the rest of the Phantomfam members. I think he would be able to feel sympathy for Alois's situation, but he's no bleeding heart. I'm not really sure what the scenario is here where somehow Alois and Sebastian are getting to know each other and also Alois might want Sebastian to help him over another person already in his life? It's a little difficult to answer...
And if it was in regards to canon Seb, well... yeah, he's pretty disinterested in anyone that doesn't directly benefit or threaten his contract. I don't think he would do anything to make Alois's life better.
While I hate canon Claude, I certainly think fan content can utilize him as a father figure if they made some tweaks to his character. My bud Em has explored that in this fanfic that I enjoy, and I think she's probably a better judge of Dad-Claude than I could ever be (she might even write a longer story about it someday!). Sort of going off her example, I would keep Claude's awkward/stiff personality intact and get rid of his bad-touch vibes (obviously). Unlike Coattails Sebastian, who is accustomed to big emotions but is new to love specifically, I don't think Coattails Claude would be used to feeling anything outside of his own control. He's also not very playful so he would probably have to learn to let go of things and I just realized I'm describing Bambi's dad's journey in Bambi II so god fucking dammit I did it again—

HMMMMMMMM how do I do that indeed, the basics are honestly what you’d find on any basic tutorial about drawing a face (circle, cross in the middle of it, build the face around that - I really still can’t avoid that step and probably never will). As for the expressions, to be honest with you my way of going about them is thinking them up in emoji/kaomoji form first and then go from there. Emojis and kaomojis have to simplify expressions to the max since it’s such a simple format, right? But they’re still super expressive and convey exactly what they’re trying to say with one single glance, so using them as some kind of reference sheet has helped me a lot in figuring out what’s essential to express what I’m trying to say - still working on it though! I’m rarely satisfied with my expressions, they really do make or break a drawing don’t they............ you never stop learning, I guess!

Not "autistic anon," but also autistic, (being called maybe ableist made me want to put this out there before go to bed) i thought Zane was depicted that way purposefully by the writers. He has stereotypical traits like taking things literally, and has an actual humor switch. The writers have done things with Zane before like have him lose bodily autonomy (during that one Wu's teas short) and did something with his voice be it making him unable to be understood or talking too loud and the forced pirate voice by Jay. (what you're doing isn't too different from that, right?) I thought it was just a little iffy to distort his body and memory bc that could be interpreted as something not that I'm sure what exactly, it's some kind of disability. I dunno. I'm not good with putting this to words. I hope this makes sense.

Im a little confused but I think I get what you're saying? You're saying the Ninjago writers absolutely DON'T write Zane well (you listed examples of this) and you don't want me to fall into the same trap?
I had the opposite logic earlier. I thought: If Ninjago writers made Zane have stereotypical autisitic traits while also being a dehumanized robot, I may as well embrace it, say he is autistic blatantly, while also making him do funny/cool non-human robot things, so its clear as possible the two aspects of his character are literal and separate and not a metaphor for each other. But you're right! I do have a choice and I dont have to embrace things! :)
Like there were a couple ways I was gonna reject the original, for example, I never wanted Zane to have a funny switch, and I hated how other characters could fuck with Zane and he didn't even care 😬. I want to change that stuff. So youre right, if I am changing shit like that, it would be counterproductive for ME to GIVE him MORE traits along that theme. 😬😬😬 I should try to feel less obligated to portray Zane like he originally is. I still like the concept of "scary zane" (for reasons i explain below the cut) but I might tone it down a bit like with the claws and weird proportions and shit. I’d def make him look more skeletal and undead. That was my original intention, but i didnt execute it as good as I could have.... idk if anyone could tell thats what he was supposed to be like...my bad! But rn I dont wanna redesign him I wanna draw other stuff like normal alive Zane. Sorry LMAO 😳. Like I said in some earlier asks I think, I think Im gonna focus rn on how I should portray season 1 normal not dead Zane so thank you and feel free to share any other Zane thoughts ^_^

Also I Wanna Argue Some Stuff But I Understand its a Weak Argument Since All of This Context was Just In My Brain (so don't take this as an argument, just as me rambling): I don't want messed up things to happen to Zane and for it to just be ignored. I think if Zane is going to have fucked up things happen to him, as all characters must, its best for it to happen during a season where he actually addresses his feelings about being a robot (learning to accept that he will always be himself, regardless if hes "human" or the "original" or whatever. (thats how I always interpreted his emotions)). But I wouldn't have the other Ninja be very phased by Zane's looks because the whole point is they already love who he is (seasons 1-3 were about getting to know Zane) and now Zane himself just has to learn the physical, robot part of him is okay. Its about person-hood rather than humanity. Because the season focuses around Zane's soul, and because he lost his original body, I feel like I could mess around with his current, temporary body and have fun and make it scary. Because that body should be irrelevant. I understand it possibly being upsetting for an autistic character to be designed like this, but other people I talked to see it the opposite way. They find it comforting for him to look so different but still be himself and be so loved. SO IM ABSOLUTELY NOT saying its wrong to be bothered or to hate it or to feel any way. Just that I personally think it would be cool for Zane to be portrayed with a little spice lol, so thats why I like scary Zane for season 4.
Another Thing I Wannna Say But Is REALLY Hypocritical: (this isnt directed at anyone I just REALLY want to say this) I know I say "this is Zane but scary, he looks like fnaf" so he's obviously dehumanized, but I always felt like "scary" is more of an objective fact. Its an instinct. But what's "not human" is subjective. I think there is a problem with saying anything different from "average" human is dehumanized because that could extend to real people. Lol I know its bad for me to compare FNAF-ass Zane to real people, but I mean he could be real. People can have exposed teeth, and people can be shaped weird. And when someone first sees a person who looks like that they'll probably think "woah those features are scary" by instinct. And that surprise doesn't make someone ableist obviously. But bring that person’s humanity into question is NOT an instinct, and is fucked to shit. This is kinda a bad point for me to make since its about the fictional FNAF Zane I drew, and I am NOT implying ANYONE was thinking like this. [especially not the original asker anon who I am totally forgetting about at this point OOPS]. But I just thought it was an opinion of mine I couldn't go without mentioning when talking about dehumanization and disabilities.

I think this because you started to bring physical disabilities up and you said it was "a little iffy." ^_^ So we agree, but I don't see Zane's relation to real life disabilities as "a little iffy" I see it more like "complicated"? I like a lot of concepts in Ninjago but I dont think they were presented correctly.....! :( So I guess all we can do is wait and see if I make Zane offensive or not....???
Also something about the memory part - yeah i agree i was surprised no one thought that was weird to make jokes out of his memory issues..... BUT I am like 100% firm on making his memory take longer to come back because I think its stupid how quick Zane was able to recover from literally dying. Like its just dumb to me. Hate it. (also bc memory & soul mechanics is ummm kinda important in my rewrite.... for reasons). Another memory thing btw, I was going to make his original amnesia come from hitting his head in an attack against the Skulkin when they stole his dads corpse, rather than his dad fucking choosing to make him forget. (its a sweet & iconic scene, but Um, WHY?!!!?!?!?!?) He has to follow data recovery instructions he finds in his dads diary. I think in that context it makes moments of memory loss somewhat different for Zane's character? Instead of loss of autonomy associated with disability, its a literal violent loss of autonomy associated with being traumatized by physical force. Idk how to phrase it exactly but I think that makes some vibes different?

queer and feelin longing emotions and thinkin bout shortcake and the harleyyyhhh: when she first sees you shes like 👁👄👁 speechless, How could you possibly get hotter??? ure driving into frankie's driveway because you all are carpooling to meet the guys for a night out. she meets u in a daze at the end of the drive while youre taking the keys out of the ignition.
"i didnt know you owned a motercycle" she says, her face growing warm while u kick out the kickstand.
"oh um, yeah! i do!" you say with a nervous chuckle; your heart always races when youre around shortcake, but you've never seen her look at you Quite like this.
"why do i never see you riding it?" she asks, glancing down every so often as you absent mindedly start fidgeting, rubbing ur hands against the seat and the handle bars.
"ummm, i really only ride it when i need to think on some stuff or when i need to calm down," you explain. "its also really impractical for days i have a certain way i want my hair to look" u chuckle as u unclick the buckle to your helmet and hope, as youre taking it off, that your helmet hair isnt unseemly today.
"is everything okay? have you been on edge lately?" she asks, her brow furrowed. you smile at her but it doesnt quite meet your eyes.
"a little, but i'm working through it" you respond, you grasp the handle bars a little harder, u hadnt meant to let That slip.
shortcake seems unsure but after a moment she reaches out to gently lay her hand atop yours and u loosen ur grasp. "is there anything i can do to help?" she asks softly, kindly. you feel so Seen, so Loved; shes only touching your hand but you can feel the warmth of it through your entire body. "i'll uhhhh i'll let you know?" you leave it open ended, because you dont Think its possible for her to help you with your growing feelings....But you Never Know. the answer seems to appease her, for now at least.
youre together in this moment quietly, contently, a single innocent touch and your gaze at one another are all that connects one another to the present. you hear the front door of the house open and shut, you both suddenly move your hands away; the self depricating thoughts, quickening heart rates, and warm faces are all that you share now.
"hey, nice to see you bringin the ol girl out for a change" frankie says while walking towards the two of you. he raises an eyebrow at you, "you good?"
you nod, "i will be." he nods back, knowing. that sometimes you arent ready to talk about what thoughts ail you.
"oh hey your hair is a little..." he starts, moving his hand up to you head before stopping, "can i uhhh-" "oh yeah sure, thanks" you say, quickly. as frankie messes with your hair, you feel your stomach do flips and shortcake admires how sweet you look together.
he steps back admiring you- his amazing skills as a hair stylist, "better than ever" he says with a grin.
"oh wait hold on, you missed something can i just real quick" shortcake says, searching for consent. you nod you head at her and now she hands taking back stray pieces or smoothing out others. you shiver slightly as she tucks your hair behind your ear? you arent sure she actually moved anything that time. frankie is watching the two of you intently; he loves the careful way she tends to you and the way your eyes flutter shut every so often.
she moves back, and says "there, now we're good" with a soft smile. frankie smiles at her and gives her a quick peck on the cheek, "i love your attention to detail," he says, adoration in his eyes as she giggles.
"thanks," you whisper. you dont want to ruin this moment with your feelings butting in; they are so happy together, you wish so desperately you could make Them that happy.
frankie pats his pockets until he finds and fishes out his keys, "i'll go start the car, you can set your helmet inside the garage if you want?" he offers. "that'd be great thank you," you say, unstraddling the bike and the couple, unbeknownst to the other, watch a tad too intently as you do.
shortcale shakes herself out of slightly inappropriate gaze and decided to walk you up to a garage, "i've never ridden a motercycle before, it seems like fun" she says, just to fill the silence.
you're quiet, comtemplating for a moment. "would you like to?"
she laughs out a breath "oh i would love too. its a shame you dont have a second helmet, we could ride together"
you glance at her and grin a little before turning around to call out, "hey frankie? you still got that helmet i leant u?"

Also the thought of shortcake going for a ride with you hhh. Her arms are tight around your waist and the engine is rumbling in her ears as shes pressed against your back, it makes you grip the handlebars tighter and at a stoplight you have to take a deep breath to calm yourself. She's never ridden a motorcycle before but in the moment, cruising down the road with her arms around you, she feels safe and secure and wants it to last forever.
Frankie walks outside just as you pull up the driveway.
"How was it?"
Shortcake tugs the helmet off with a giggle and he takes in her wild hair. "So much fun! I never knew it'd be so relaxing."
She never knew how nice it felt to have you in her arms.
Frankie ignores the way his heart hammers wildly in his chest by seeing the way shortcake, his girlfriend, stares as you lean on the handlebars of your bike. He sees her flushed face and hears the hitch in her breathe when she looks at you.
He tells himself it's from the weather. It has to be. Theres no way she feels the same way for you as he does. That's just his own mind taunting him with a fantasy.
That's just him being selfish.
"I should probably head out." Your voice breaks them both out of their own head. Both members of the couple you dreamed of each night wearing a face like a kicked puppy.
"Are you sure? You can stay for dinner if you want-"
"We can order takeout and-"
You hold your hands up in an apologetic gesture. "As fun as its be to watch you guys argue over pizza toppings again, I'll have to pass. I've got an early shift tomorrow. I should get home before it's late so I can get some sleep."
The hand that frankie held on his girlfriend's waist tightened as you backed out of the driveway and into the street with a final wave.
He knew you didn't work tomorrow
"Is she gonna be alright?" Shortcake's voice was tiny, barely heard over the roar of your engine as you drove off.
Frankie knew you were going to spend the whole night driving without a destination.
"Yeah." He pressed a comforting kiss to her temple. "She's alright, just needs to clear her head. We all get like that."
He knew at somepoint in the night you'd stop at that one 24-hour dinner you loved, he would probably stay up and meet you there. If you didnt want to talk about what was bothering you that'd be fine. He would simply order himself a burger as the two of you spoke about whatever nonsense came to mind at 3am before leaving, usually with you following him home and crashing on his couch.
You hadn't done that in a long time. He wonders why.
"I worry about her."
Ah. Right. That's why.
Shortcake leaned her head on his shoulder and he felt a steady thrum in his chest.
"Me too."
Maube he would take her with him tonight. She'd like the fries.

summary: so i found an eviction note on my door when i came home from a shift so i looked on a bulletin board in the lobby and i saw an ad for a roommate and that ad was from you, my really cute neighbor and i was wondering if that offer still stands???

it was midnight and you were absolutely slumped, stressed, and kind of angry
work really kicked your ass that night
working at a 24/7 diner sucked so much cause sometimes the people would come at odd times
and there were some snappy customers
that night during your shift there was a particularly rude customer that ruined your mood so you just really wanted to lay down in your bed
but once you go to your door you found an eviction note saying that they’re going to kick you out in a week if you don’t pay your rent
right then and there you could feel all of the stress from that day form into tears
so you open your door in a haste and c r y
because??? you don’t get payed until next week??? so you’re basically screwed
but you decide to try and sleep it off because you are way too tired for this and it’s your day off tomorrow anyway
when you wake up you forget about the eviction note but you remember when you go to make coffee since it’s sitting on the counter
you let out the Biggest Sigh ever
you leave the paper on the counter and then you go down to the lobby to see the bulletin board to see if there are any roommate papers or open apartments
when you look you see something

and you recognize the name cause hey!!! that’s your neighbor!!!
you never really talked to him before, only the few nods of the head at each other when you see each other

you decide you’re going to ask jaemin if you could be his roommate cause that seems better than living on your own
smh rent is high these days what were you thinking of anyway HAHA
moving on though
you go back up and try to build up the courage to knock on his door
but you don’t even know if he’s home
you knock anyway, and about a few seconds later you can see jaemin’s bright smile
angels are singing

you get snapped out of your daze
‘uh i saw the ad of you needing a roommate, and i was wondering if that offer still stands??’
and he looks confused cause? you’re his neighbor w hat??
and you see the confused look so you start to explain to him that you just got an eviction note last night and you really don’t know where else to go
your parent don’t live in the same country as you

and you won’t get payed until next week so you start to really beg him to be his roommate
and he can see how stressed you are so he accepts
and you just give him such a big smile and he metaphorically melts to the ground
and you really don’t even have to pack anything the whole week you move your stuff into his apartment and get rid of a l o t of things
you just found out you were a hoarder LMAO
but anywho!!
it takes a couple more days than planned to move everything into the other bedroom
but it’s all good
so the day you finally moved everything into his apartment he asked if you guys wanted to go grocery shopping cause his your guys’ kitchen was empt y
but you declined cause you needed to fix and arrange some stuff in your new room
and hes all like no problem i’ll just ask a friend to go with me, i’ll see you in a few hours!! and he grins and locks the door
you didn’t even fix stuff you just knocked out cold onto your bed
anyway fast forward it’s been a few days since you moved in
it’s been a lil awkward cause you guys don’t really interact with each other
your guys’ work schedules don’t match so hes always out when youre home and vice versa
so you never really get to talk with him
but!!! by some miracle your job/school schedules do match
and you guys FINALLY talk and break the VERY awkward tension
the dynamic in your house is so much better wow
sometimes when either of you couldn’t sleep you guys would venture out or just crash into the other’s room for the night
one time jaemin’s friend walked in on you guys cuddling in his bed cause he had a spare key

how do you make poses for the roof? i'm not sure how i can know if the sims will clip into the roof or float
honestly i just...eyeball it...because all roofs are different and you can’t put them into blender so. i just winged it lmao...i just made a pose that looked like it could’ve been lou climbing out the window, only the rig was still ground level, and then i used alt + 9 to lift the teleporter onto the roof as best as i could. that’s why it probably wouldn’t be a very practical pose to release, because i have no way of making it easy to use

i don’t know if i’ll be able to replicate the reshade effect totally but i could release the action i’ve made for myself? it warms up screenshots but is totally adjustable to your liking for different color tones so in that way it’s kinda similar to the reshade. i’ll seeeeee what i can do...i know the woes of mac users all too well, my friend

that’s a hard one.... i don’t think i have one anymore. i used to have this girl in my life, M, who i was really close to, but we had a fallout in october and she never came around to fix this even though i was open to the idea... so i lost my best friend, which is kinda sad considering that she was the only person i could open up to in the last 3 yrs. but hey that happens! i moved on and have a close friend still so im all good.
24. What are three places you want to travel?
i really wanna visit scotland! it has this specific atmosphere i really long to experience, and i wanna see the landmarks and grassy fields and loch ness and haunted places and just roam around there for a while.
i also wanna see moscow - it’s been sort of an obsession of mine since reading glukhovsky’s metro series, and also it’s a beautiful city worth visiting. i’d also like to get on the trans-siberian express but that’s not a specific place dsfsgdf
the last place would be the aokigahara forest in japan - also one of the places i feel drawn to for ages now. found out about it years ago and since it’s been sort of a plan of mine to visit one time. if i manage to graduate university my mum promised to send me on a trip to japan - so if it works out, ill be on my way there baby! (i just need to work on my language skills first sasdfgf)

loud breathing, loud chewing... generally people being loud and annoying. ppl not covering their mouths while coughing. ppl who walk super slowly and take up all of the walkway like FUCK OFF OF MY WAY GODDAMMIT. in games when the npc walks a lot slower than ur running, but walking a lot faster than ur walking so its impossible to keep up with them. ppl not using headphones in public spaces. old ppl demanding respect when they treat u like shit. ppl forcing their religion on u (im looking at u auntie). ppl slurping their drinks. couples almost f*cking each other in public places... just get a room smh

lmaooooo thats a funny one listen up... so i was fresh out of breakup and wanted to make some friends.... wait for it.... ON TINDER. i live in an university town so i was like kewl imma make some ppl my age (until then all of my friends were A LOT older than me) and have some friends and if romance happens then it happens, w/e. so i set up this bar night with this one guy, i believe his name was David? so David and i meet up for drinks, i grab a gintonic and we sit down to talk... what he never knew abt me is that i am on the adhd spectrum and i have to get my hands busy with smth so i can focus on what im saying otherwise my thoughs r all over the place. so im casually keeping my hands busy with just spinning my locked phone there and back, or just messing around with the lime slice on my glass and at a random moment David goes like “u know.... i hate when ppl cant stop messing around with their phone” and im like ????? dude im literally just spinning it, not even messaging anyone or unlocking it or shit. and he goes on this rant that he always expects ppl to pay full attention to him when talking, looking at him (i never look ppl in the eyes cuz i tend to just go into panic mode from long eye contact and also i think its creepy to just stare at someone constantly) and just not doing anything else except paying attention to him so i go on explaining to him that i need to keep myself busy and im not doing it to annoy him - but he keeps on insisting so i excuse myself to a cigarette (he also hated smokers lmao) and call the widowmaker main friend from the previous question and am like “hey man i have the worst date of my life can u be at this place in 40 minutes and then we hit the night life” and hes like fine so i go back to David and tell him “sorry mate i just remembered i have my last bus home in 30 minutes and the next one is in 1,5 hrs and i really cant stay out that late so can we wrap this up and schedule an other meeting some other time” and hes like fine... got me to the bus stop, i sat on the bus.... got off at the next bus stop, met up with widowmaker main guy and went out for drinks and decided to never go on tinder dates again sdfgsdfg

also just a disclaimer i have never attended a single ballet lesson and all my dancing knowledge comes from 1) nyu’s kpop dance team 2) that one weekly idol episode where daniel danced
Bin flopping around Jinjin's bed because???? He has an extra slot for a two-credit class in his schedule and he doesn't know what to take????
Rocky prodding him from where he's sitting cross legged on the floor to take Regression Statistics with him
But Bin also swore never to take math in his life ever again so
Jinjin sighing and shoving Bin off his bed and pulling up the course catalog on his laptop
Jinjin: "I'm going to load up the course catalog right now and we're going to scroll through it"
Bin, whining; "but I've scrolled through it so many times-"
Jinjin, smacking Bin's arm to shut him up: "and we're each going to yell stop and from the three we've ended up with, you have to pick one."
Rocky perking up slightly
Jinjin: "one,, two,, three,,,,,,,,"
Rocky: "STOP"

Bin wincing before saying: "stop"

Bin squawking in indignation before thinking about it and flopping over, head on Rocky's thigh: "I suppose???? I don't mind ballet?"
Rocky snorting and ruffling Bin's hair: "you just want to meet cute ballet boys"

And so it was decided that Bin would take a two-credit ballet class.

Eunwoo snorting and pushing MJ's head out of his cup: "perhaps you should reconsider taking 8am classes next semester"
MJ whining that he really had no choice, but Eunwoo's tuned him out
He's excited (sort of?) for his first day of classes, even if all he has today is Language & Mind and a two-credit ballet class
He's spent all his life in ballet studios - he'll be fine in this class, he thinks
A free two-credit class is always good right?
And since he's majoring in performing arts with a specialisation in ballet it'll be relevant to his major too
And he can make more friends!! Something MJ's been bugging him to do
(Okay, more like MJ: "go get laid, Eunwoo" but same thing, right?)
Eunwoo stepping into the ballet studio later in the day
And he's the first one, of course - Eunwoo's always the first one
Eunwoo settling down his backpack and starting to stretch
The door creaking open
Eunwoo peeks from where his leg is up on the barre
And sees a boy woefully underdressed for ballet
??????? What the hell maybe he has clothes in his backpack he hasn't changed into?
Eunwoo looks down at his own white shirt and black tights and back up at the guy
In a loose tank and basketball shorts
And watches as the guy settles down on the floor
Eunwoo, wincing: "uh you should probably change before the instructor comes?"

Eunwoo, slightly stumped because how do you come into a ballet lesson?????? Without the proper attire????????

Bin wiggling under the angel's stare: "it's my first time taking a ballet class in uni!! I've taken them in a dance academy before though?"
Eunwoo wondering how on earth someone like this managed to get into a ballet showcase class
Probably smiled at the placement instructor and charmed his way in

Bin getting to his feet and sticking out his hand and smirking: "I'm Bin!"
Eunwoo staring at Bin's hand dubiously before slowly nudging his own into Bin's: "I'm Eunwoo?"
And as people slowly filter into the class and begin stretching, Eunwoo resumes his stretching and Bin resumes his watching Eunwoo
Eunwoo: "don't u need 2 stretch"
Bin:
Bin: "o right ok"
Eunwoo blinking in disbelief
Their instructor coming in and just giving them a briefing in the first half hour then asking them to dance something short for the whole class
And of course, Cha Eunwoo goes first
And when he starts dancing Bin's eyes nearly fall out
Because wow he knows his ballet basics (enough to admit him into a dance minor, he might add) and he's grown up around dance but
This guy makes it look so effortless
He makes going on pointe look like he's being pulled up by invisible angel wings
He makes spins look like someone's wrapped him in strings and decided to unravel him like a ball of yarn
He makes leaps and jumps look like he's floating on clouds and he makes landings sound like he never got pulled down by gravity in the first place
Bin's eyes following every motion and every line this guy's body makes, every slide and jump until Eunwoo slows to a stop and takes a bow
Bin's heart sinking as he watches everyone else take their turn - they're mostly performing arts majors doing some kind of ballet and they've more or less 5 or so years of ballet experience under their belt
But, he notes, Eunwoo seems to be the best one out of all of them
And then his name is called and he's fumbling his way to the centre of the room and swallowing his dread and "hi, I'm moonbin, I'm a food science major and I'm minoring in modern dance and hip hop and uh,,, I'm one of the main dancers for the uni synchronic dance team?"
Eunwoo's heart sinking because this guy doesn't even minor in ballet
How can he work with someone like this for a showcase?
But then Bin starts popping and moving his body in ways that Eunwoo ?????? has never seen before
Eunwoo's eyes growing rounder and his mouth falling open

Sure, someone’s been doing ballet all his life but it doesn’t mean he’s better than Bin at other forms of dance!!
Their instructor telling them about the showcase details and laying out several different items she has planned
Eunwoo already eyeing the main position for the dances and trying to work out in his head which ones he’d be able to take
Bin inspecting his fingernails and also inspecting other people in the room
And suddenly class is over and their instructor is calling for “Eunwoo and Bin to come up to the front please?”
Eunwoo blinking
He’s pretty sure he did well - what did he do to get called up first lesson???
Instructor @ Eunwoo: “alright so you seem like the most dependable one here??? also you look like you have the most experience”
Eunwoo: confused nodding
Instructor @ Bin: “ok and you have the least experience”
Bin: also confused nodding but liking where this is going
Eunwoo: very not liking where this is going
Instructor: “Can i pair you up and trust that you’ll help Bin as much as possible? For extra credit, of course?”

Actually, it was fanfiction that brought me here in the first place! I kept reading these wonderful fics and the authors’ notes kept referring to conversations that sounded like great fun, and, well... here I am!
