to be honest, i was planning on making the reader more willing in this au, but i haven't elaborated enough on their character yet! i was planning on the brothers slowly easing into the reader's life, as seen with dick, jason, and tim. then once the batfam feels that reader's relationship with tim has developed enough, he'll make his way into their heart— aka be the perfect boyfriend!

from there, the reader would be invited to the mansion a lot more often, also spending many nights there, as the reader would be feeling lonelier in their small, dingy apartment compared to a big mansion seemingly full of life. jason, dick, and damian would be introduced to the reader as tim's brothers, with the reader being mostly amused with the fact that they're already familiar with 2 of tim's older brothers. they'd write it off as a coincidence. at first.

bruce always seems to be too busy when you come over, so you've seen only fleeting glances of the man, with the way he disappears into the shadows feeling far too familiar.

but let's say the batfam is more impatient, and they're just itching to get to you already.

they're tired of watching you from the shadows, and through the cameras (where you always seem so close yet so far). so they make a plan: they'll take you in your sleep, all precautions taken of course, and settle you into your very own room at the wayne mansion.

they don't tie you to the bedpost of anything like that, no, you're not an animal! they'll all keep their distance, watching from cameras they've planted (again) as you gain consciousness.

you're a lot calmer than they expected, carefully looking around the unfamiliar room. they've rearranged the furniture to nearly mirror your own room in your apartment. nearly.

they've arranged some things for maximum comfort, that you've failed to do so in your place.

they can barely see your hand shaking as you reach to open the door.

they decide that tim should be the first one you see.

as you head down the corridor, you bump into your friend. you can barely make out signs of nervousness coming from him; his cheeks are flushed, and you can see a light sheen of sweat across his hairline. you choose to ignore how his eyes have almost lost all colour, with his dark pupils heavily dilated.

their goal here is to not freak you out and risk your running away. given what they know about you, there's a chance you'll stay, even with great hesitance.

so, they'll act slow and steady.

your heart races in your chest, threatening to jump out. if you're being honest, you can't even comprehend what had happened.

why were you in a strange room, in a strange house? you fell asleep in your bed, in your apartment.

so, how did you get here?

why is tim here?

what were you doing here?

you ask him as much, but your voice is no louder than a whisper.

it's a miracle he even heard you, but tim is always willing to strain his ears, to earnestly listen to you.

"why don't we tell you over breakfast?" he says, in his oh so kind voice.

you don't get a chance to answer before he's guiding you to the kitchen with a tight grip on your hand.

on your way there, you realise it's a house that was bigger than you thought. a lot bigger.

the enticing smell of breakfast reaches you before you get there. your steps only quicken by a beat, but tim notices.

as you turn a corner, you're surprised to see a few familiar faces. jason, your sweet neighbour, and dick, the funny detective that happens to be a regular at your work.

there are three other strangers in the kitchen.

bruce wayne, who isn't technically a stranger, you can't live in gotham and not know who he is, but a stranger nonetheless. his dark, dark eyes seem to pierce your very being and see right through you.

a boy, younger than you by just a few years. he's got a tan to his skin, and eyes that seem eerily similar to bruce wayne's.

lastly, an older man, in a tuxedo only befitting a butler. considering bruce wayne was in this house, you think he is a butler.

a look of recognition must have been present in your face, as dick, bless his heart, smiles gently at you, taking your hand from tim's and sitting you next to him.

his toothy smile does nothing to calm you, unlike many other times before.

your eyes snap to bruce wayne's as he clears his throat. a sign that he demands your attention.

you stay silent.

the familiar faces and smiles have done nothing to appease you, but why? why do they unsettle you, when you have turned to those same smiles for comfort?

"i'm sure you have a lot of questions, (y/n)."

usually, bruce wayne saying your name would be an occasion any other person would celebrate. though you can't find it in yourself to feel flattered, not when he says it with such ease... such intimacy, as if he had uttered your name many times before.

ok i didnt know how to end this but i will elaborate on reader's character more next time !!! swear !!!! i have thought most of it out so please look forward to it! <33

Gyuvin has hated Ricky on three occasions.

Or that’s what he likes to think, at least. They were the only times he acknowledged those harsh feelings anyways.

It wasn’t a feeling that lingered anyways, he didn’t actually hate him, of course. If anything, they were on good terms. It’s one of those times where you feel hate towards someone in the spur of the moment because of a situation.

The first time was when he was alone in his dark room, the dim light coming from his PC screen illuminated his face as he watched himself die in game for the nth time again, resulting in their team’s loss.

He sighs, unable to focus on the game he was playing with Gunwook and Hanbin. Glancing at the time, he noticed that it was getting rather late and you haven’t sent him a message yet.

“Hey man, you okay?” Gunwook’s voice broke him from his train of thoughts as he realized he was zoning out, and that his friends had actually been trying to get his attention for the past few minutes now. “You’re acting differently today, is something wrong?” Hanbin adds.

“Yeah, just tired. And a little distracted, but I just don’t think I'm in my best condition right now.” he runs his hands over his face. Gunwook tells his friends that he’ll be leaving to do homework, and Gyuvin doesn’t miss the chance to call him a nerd. As he leaves the call, Hanbin takes this opportunity to talk to him with no filter.

“It’s about Ricky and Y/N, isn't it?”

“Was it that obvious?”

“If they knew the whole story, yeah.”

The call falls into silence as Gyuvin stares blankly at his PC screen. As he opens his mouth to say something, his phone suddenly rings.

After seeing the caller ID, he tells Hanbin he’ll be muting to answer a call and rushes to answer his phone.

“Y/N, hey! How’d the whole thing go? Did you profess your undying love for him yet? Did you two kiss? C’monn tell me!”

Gyuvin teases, trying to make sure it didn’t seem like he wasn’t about to die of worry over you earlier.

“Girl, shut up! I just got home, it went pretty well, but that’s not why I called. I actually wanted to ask you something.” you shush him.

Gyuvin gulps. “Uh– yeah, shoot.”

You seem to hesitate, and shifting could be heard from the other side of the line.

“Um, so Ricky told me that he, along with your entire friend group, thought we were dating? And he mentioned that you’d act weird whenever they’d try to talk to you about me.”

Gyuvin goes silent, and you take this as an opportunity to elaborate and ask him more questions.

“Are you… embarrassed of me? I’m not mad, don’t worry! If anything it’s kind of understandable so—”

“No, no!” Gyuvin sputters. “That’s not it, I swear. I just don’t want them annoying you if they actually knew who you were. The last thing I’d want is them making you uncomfortable.”

“...Oh. Uh, yeah, that makes sense. Sorry, I’m a little tired so I’ll go now. I’ll see you and let you in on what happened.” you nod, giggling at the last part which somewhat put Gyuvin at ease. The call ends and he could’ve sworn he almost collapsed back in his seat.

“Everything alright?” Hanbin asks as soon as he heard that Gyuvin turned his mic back on.

“Fucking Ricky!” Gyuvin couldn’t help but curse, frustration and rage slowly seeping in. “He told her some stuff about how I act whenever she gets brought up in the group and she thought I was embarrassed of her. She could’ve snuffed me out if she didn’t think that! Who does he think he is, causing misunderstandings like that?”

“Okay, okay, calm down. You and I both know he doesn’t think before speaking sometimes, he probably blurted it out without thinking about the consequences…” Hanbin tries to calm him down.

Gyuvin starts to be thankful that he came to Hanbin with this problem as he always relied on the elder, always having seen him like an older brother.

Hanbin understands that this was much deeper than Y/N finding out about Gyuvin’s feelings.

It was about how he was always jealous of Ricky for having the things he wanted.

It was about how Ricky was so much more likable compared to him.

It was about how Ricky, in short, was perfect.

And it was especially about how Ricky was blind to not notice the girl pining over him. The same girl Gyuvin has been longing for the same way she does for Ricky.

The worst part was that it’s not his fault, and Gyuvin knew that well.

Ricky had no control over those kinds of situations, he was just lucky enough to be born into a life where everything seemed to go his way. Even if it wasn't on purpose.

And Gyuvin knew that better than anyone else.

The second time was more of a buildup, in comparison to the first which was a burst.

But at the same time, he wouldn’t really consider it hate. Disdain felt more appropriate to describe it.

It started when Ricky and Y/N started to get closer, making them spend more time together, and less time individually with him.

It progressed even more the day that Gyuvin and Y/N spotted Ricky and Alexa together.

While his best friend’s expression was unreadable, he could see that she felt uncomfortable and pained.

Why couldn’t he see that you liked him?

Over two weeks passed and Gyuvin found himself back in his room with you once again.

“God knows what I should do! I feel like it’s too late for me to go back on what I’ve done since I’ve been ignoring them for days now and it’s a little embarrassing to talk to them out of nowhere.” you finish, taking a breath after the long rant you went on.

“Maybe it’s better for you to talk to Ricky and Ricky only. This way you can communicate, tell him everything and probably even confess to him. At the rate everything’s going, it’s now or never.” Gyuvin tells you, putting down his controller and watching you throw yourself on his bed face down.

After a brief silence, you mutter a muffled “Yeah, maybe you’re right.”

Getting up and grabbing your phone, Gyuvin sits next to you and watches you look for Ricky’s contact.

“hey. it's been a while. is everything alright? you’ve been avoiding and ignoring me all of a sudden. please let me know if i did anything to offend you and i hope we can talk again soon. i’m sorry.” it read.

He looks at you, seeing how you’re typing and deleting your message back and forth, you were finally able to send him a message.

“hi. I’m so sorry for everything that’s happened. are you free tomorrow? i was hoping to talk to you. does the nearby park sound good if ever?”

It took less than a minute for Ricky to respond, taking the best friends by surprise.

“oh my god, you responded. and ofc, it’s all good with me, i’m free tomorrow. i’ll see you then.”

You stared at your phone, rereading the short convo you two had. Getting up, you look over to Gyuvin to tell him you’ve made up your mind.

“I’m confessing to him tomorrow.”

“Seriously?” He was completely surprised at this.

Fuck.

“I mean– go for it! I can’t believe you finally have the guts to tell him.” he stutters out in hopes that the twinge of disapproval in his tone wasn’t obvious.

“Yeah. You were right about the now or never thing. I’m gonna tell him no matter what happens. The sooner I do it, the sooner I’ll get over it. It’s much better that way.”

You sigh and grab your bag. “I’m going home. It’s getting late.” “You want me to walk you home?” Gyuvin purses his lips

“Nah. I kinda need some alone time right now. Y’know, to figure out what to do and say tomorrow.”

“Oh okay, get home safe.”

You exchange goodbyes, and leave Gyuvin’s house.

As he watches you leave, the boy is left behind alone with negative and conflicted feelings to your plans.

He plops down on his bed, slightly tearing up as he sends Hanbin a message.

Gyuvin:

> it’s over for me

Hanbin:

> ?

>What happened?

> Do you want me to call or come over?

Gyuvin:

> eh

> she’s gonna confess to ricky tomorrow lmao

Hanbin:

>What? Really??

He tosses his phone to the side, ignoring the pings that followed.

Sighing, Gyuvin’s vision blurs as he contemplates everything that happened so far.

Would it have been better for him if you didn’t get close? Or meet at all?

Why couldn’t everything stay the same?

Gyuvin pauses. Why was he even thinking like this? Shouldn’t he be happy you’ve finally gathered the courage after all these years? And then it hit him.

Ah. It’s because he’s scared that you actually have a chance with him.

It’s the fact that despite everything that’s happened, there’s still a slight chance that Ricky can reciprocate your feelings.

“I hate you so much.” Gyuvin whispers, unsure who he’s directing it to. Was it for you, Ricky or himself? Maybe it was all three.

Maybe he hated how you still tried to pursue Ricky even despite how things turned out.

Hated how blind Ricky was for not seeing how he had someone who’d drop everything for him.

Hated himself for being so frustrated and selfish. For how he felt about… all this.

Gyuvin eventually drifts off to sleep, dreading how tomorrow would turn out for all three of you.

Third time was when Ricky rejected you.

Initially, Gyuvin had mixed feelings. He thought about how this meant he still had a chance with you, before quickly shutting off the idea, feeling bad that he thought selfishly while you were still devastated.

He wouldn’t dare take advantage of your emotional state, right? Right?

Well….

A few days after you confessed, you actively avoided both Ricky and Alexa once again, especially seeing how often they’ve been together ever since. Gyuvin never missed the expression you bore every time you caught a glimpse of them, and one day, he decided he had enough of your state.

In the middle of lunch period, he grabs your arm and pulls you back as you were on your way to the cafeteria. “Hey,” he whispered. “Let’s skip the rest of school.”

You look at him with wide eyes before he leads you close to the exit, careful that no faculty member catches you.

Once the coast was clear, he swiftly and quietly went through the exit, pulling you behind and now holding your hand while trying to keep it cool.

The both of you walked aimlessly afterwards, going to wherever your feet took you.

One free lunch later, you two spent the afternoon goofing off and exploring the city as much as you wanted. Then, the evening came and you found yourself enjoying the local fair with Gyuvin, before deciding you two were tired and walked home.

“Shit, I haven’t done that much walking in— well, at all, I think.” you sigh and Gyuvin laughs behind you, breaking the silence in the quiet, chilly night.

“Hey, thanks for today. Seriously. I haven’t had that much fun in a long time, so thank you.”

You turn to him and smile as you arrive in front of your house.

“Anytime. I kinda got sick of you moping around, so I figured you needed this, y’know?”

Silence hung between the two of you and you become unsure of what else to say.

As you turn to leave, Gyuvin calls out your name.

“Y/N. Can… Can I tell you something?” he hesitates, and you tilt your head.

He was unsure what possessed him to do this. He didn’t know if it was a spur of the moment thing, or because he felt that you two were still high on emotions, but everything he’d been keeping from you for years came out in seconds.

“I like you. I always have. And I have for years. I know now’s not the best time to tell you this, but after seeing everything you went through for Ricky, I genuinely couldn’t take it anymore. I hated how you were doing everything for him when I knew I could treat you better, but I didn’t want to ruin the years of friendship we had together. I’m so sorry.”

Gyuvin confessed, the reality of the situation quickly hitting him as he watched your face morph into different expressions.

You were stunned, to say the least, and then you remembered what Ricky told you when you first hung out. And then all the signs you didn’t even notice before came swarming to you and everything made sense. In the end, you didn’t know how to feel.

“I’m– I’m so sorry Gyuvin.” you sputtered out, and you can see how his heart broke through his eyes. “I didn’t realize, I’m so stupid. I feel like an asshole now, I should’ve considered how you felt especially when I talked about—”

“It’s fine. Really. I knew I didn’t stand a chance with him anyways, so I kept quiet. I didn’t want to ruin the years we had together instead.” Gyuvin smiles sadly, as tears shone his eyes.

“Um, I should go. I didn’t mean to keep you this long, I’m sorry.” He turns and starts to walk away.

“Wait!” you call for him, but fall silent after seeing him turn.

“Hey, it’s fine, really. I didn’t expect much anyways. You know how you told Ricky it wasn’t his fault? It’s not yours, either. I understand I'm not the only one for you. So please, don’t beat yourself up over it. I might stay out for a while though, I need some time and space. But always remember that I’m here regardless of the pain, so don’t tell me to go away from you.”

Gyuvin takes a big breath to compose himself, before bidding his goodbyes. “I’ll see you around, yeah?” You couldn’t do anything else but nod and watch as he walks away, disappearing into the night and leaving you alone once again.

HIII OMG.. I have so many thoughts about them but its hard to put everything into words but I guess a few basic things should be enough to itch my brain tysm for asking btw!!

Thats about it in terms of pronouns lol. also including Shadow!

For the most part when it comes to their designs, spc the way their clothing looks is too more or less represent how their approach to the outside world is, for example ;Reds being the baggiest+longest shows how reserved she is when it comes to the outside world and as a way to kept himself safe/to feel safe. its not nice when others pick on you so you hide ykwim. Red's ears are usually downturned to make herself smaller visually in a way. He has some burn scars on hands from handling the fire rod for the first time without any protection, she also has freckles!

Blue's is tighter but even more covered up inclusding gloves but also allowing more movement, its supposed to give an illusion of being a put together stronger figure, someone who can hold his own. The bangs over his right eye are styled to hide something mostly himself, keeping himself at arms lenght somehow if you will, he'll engage with others but in a surface level and its more like trying to repot a cactus without gloves. Blue's ears are tilted down to communicate a displeased/annoyed mood to most others so they won't approach him.

Green! hes. hes autistic. (they all are but bear with me for a second) Greens is supposed to be an everyman type of look, friendly and approachable, his ears stay up most of the time along with purpousely making his eyes bigger with a slight smile to communicate a friendly demeanor, inherently tied to his recklessness go the somewhat unkept/messy look (only one rolled up sleeve, tear on the knees, dirty boots etc.), the orange fade to the ends of his hair has to do with something very important (to me at least) but! id like to elaborate at lenght sometime later on.

VIO. Vio my friend Vio, their clothes are very put together and clean, x views themself as someone who is to be kept at arms lenght, you can trust x, right? ,Vio is missing a small notch of their left ear from something that happened when they all were younger, they are the only one without a belt detail and an extra layer of clothing underneath that covers most of x neck. Vios ears stay Always in a completely neutral position, x is the one with the most control over it and how people generally see x.

and umm… as for lore… im not really sure what you’d like to hear so ill just start rambling my ideas. note that i havent exactly gotten everything fleshed out so!!

in my dr mlp au, it follows almost the exact same timeline as in canon, just all in pony world

for the tragedy, instead of brainwashing id like to think junko would do something similar to what starlight glimmer did to her village?? where she does a spell that alters cutie marks and behavior (is that still brainwashing?? idunno)

she would like, trick, manipulate, and then cast the spell on them???? if that makes sense lol

and then as a result, spell despaired ponies would have the monokuma eye symbol plastered on top of their cutie marks. (ex. my servant pony for example)

izuru pony is a totally different case, he has the monokuma eye symbol but for the intention of hooves peak marking their “property” yknow? since… junko practically stole their symbol for her fursona…

also in my mind this doesnt take place in ponyville, it takes place in like the pony equivalent of japan lol (i just haven’t thought of a good horse pun for it)

i also dont have names for majority of them yet!! and the ones i do have names for are still tentative soo…

*so before I go into this, I just have to say, I don't believe that NHIE is good desi rep, it showcases Devi as the main indian character with complete and utter hate for her own culture, and that would've been perfectly fine if there was an arc into her realizing how gorgeous and amazing desi culture is, but that arc never came, so I firmly believe that its just not done a great job in that arena - (I may also make a post elaborating on this if anyone wants me to)

I definitely want to write for something that has Saiki with a high energy and ditzy reader while the whole time he’s like 😐

The two of you were almost exact opposites, he didn’t like to talk much, you liked to talk a lot, he didn’t mind being alone all that much you did, anyways you get the just complete opposites!!

You know that sometimes your energy is a lot for Saiki to handle, you don’t mean for it to be so much either!! When he tells you stuff you typically listen because he probably knows better!!

This time the two of you had been in the home economics kitchen and you had been partnered together. For a solid five minutes you were scrambling around trying to get all kinds of ingredients which he was thankful for the ones that you would need the other ones not so much.

You had been instructed to make crepes which required the two of you to use a flat pan on a hot oven. Really good choice right?

Wrong immediately you began to mix the batter and Saiki watched tiredly, he hadn’t gotten much sleep last night. He could hear Yuta listening to the new Ciderman episode on repeat.

He glanced over watching as you put stuff into the batter he’s pretty sure doesn’t go in there but he’s gonna let you put in whatever you want cause you’re just gonna tell him that you watched someone make them before!!

Now that’s one thing but once you get to the hot oven, the two of you have previously agreed that you would let Saiki handle the oven but he’d let you do everything else!!

But all it takes for you to forget this agreement is Saiki zoning out for five seconds and your hand is hovering over the hot burner.

“What’re you doing??” He asks

“I’m checking if it’s hot!!” You explain hovering your hand.

“Don’t touch that.” He tells you taking the batter and pan away so you’d be more likely to remove your hand.

“DoN’t ToUcH tHaT!” You mock and as you mock your hand accidentally bumps the stove and you remove your hand so quickly.

“Ouch…Saiki” he sighs as the tears well up in your eyes, he told you not to touch the stove!

“Come on” he sighs rubbing his eyes for a second.

You nod sniffling slightly before telling the teacher he’s going to take you to the nurses office.

His luck you know is just very great and the one time he needs the nurse to be there they aren’t. So he’s left to assess the situation.

You’re sat on a chair with a tiny burn between the first and second knuckle on the inside of your finger where you had touched the stove and he knows that it’s really not even that bad and probably doesn’t even hurt you that much you’re crying out of shock, mainly because he can hear you asking yourself why you’re crying because it really doesn’t hurt that bad.

After digging for a while he finds an antibiotic cream and applied it to your finger as you blink at him trying to hold back tears.

“Does it still hurt?” He asks knowing the awnser is no.

“…yea…” he sighs waiting for you to elaborate, “you’ve got to kiss it better Saiki!!” He rolls his eyes but presses a small kiss to your finger and watches as you start to swing your feet in the chair again going back to normal!

Hi tee! I wanted to ask you a question that you might not want to answer, which I totally get if you don’t, but I thought I’d ask in case you’re okay with it. I’ve been trying to write longer content because I feel like a lot of people mock or seem to think shorter writings aren’t as good, and it’s made me reconsider the work I put out. But then I think, and you’re my favorite writer on this app, and your content tends to be mainly drabbles around 1k words, but I definitely think the quality is some of the best on this app. I just wanted to know if you’ve ever felt this way or have any advice on how to develop my writing style/feel more comfortable with it. Hope this wasn’t too much! Feel free to ignore if it is <3

tbh no matter what kind of content you write, there are people who are going to tell you that you’re going about it the wrong way. content will always be critiqued, that’s just how it works, but something being criticized doesn’t take away from its value nor does it mean it’s bad. it might not be someone’s cup of tea, but it’s not wrong. there’s no right or wrong in writing, it’s literally just a hobby where people string together words to articulate their thoughts—whether it’s 200k words long with an elaborate plot, or it’s 500 words of a small moment you thought of, you wrote and that’s writing

if someone doesn’t like it, that’s cool. if they adore it, that’s also cool. you should write and do what you want. i know that’s a very obvious thing to say, but rly it’s the truth. i like writing things around the 1k word mark because i don’t think i need 10k words to show i love a character and have thoughts about them that connect with other people. and i have moots that write 10k+ masterpieces that really sit with you and make you think about characters. the bottom line is that regardless of length, you can tell when a person has put thought and has a love for a character when they write—whether the character is their own or not, just by the way they describe and portray them, you can tell there’s passion. there’s no law on how many words you need to use to show that

if you want to develop and write longer works, that’s fine, that takes patience and effort and passion, and there’s nothing wrong with wanting to. but make sure you do it because you want to challenge yourself and grow your writing, and not because you want to seem like you’re doing writing the “right way.” id recommend reading longer works to see how different writers develop and word their thoughts. some good places to start would be from the blogs @/prettyboykatsuki @/8kh @/kurosukii @/cyancherub and @/ventini — these are all moots of mine that have at least a few works that are all long and they are all writers i highly recommend that you could pick up a few things from if you’re looking to develop !!

but again, do remember that length is not what makes writing touch people and make them think, sometimes the shortest pieces can pack a punch so don’t let someone discourage you from writing how you’d like because they were being a bit too loud about their opinions

Hey! You've probably had a bunch of answers on this already but I thought I'd drop in my two cents because neurodivergency is something of a special interest of mine (I am autistic and probably have adhd)

Id like to preface that setting a rule of "only these people can possibly have this trait" is basically always harmful, for a bunch of reasons, (will elaborate if you'd like)

Generally speaking, it's just neurodivergent people who always stim

There are however exceptions, and it's possible for everyone to stim, nts often under extremely stressful situations, but we've all heard of victory dancing ya know

I'd say the big difference is that typically nt people don't drum day to day, it's something that is reserved for special occasions and if asked they would probably not think of it as an integral part of their personality or personhood, nor be made uncomfortable or upset by not being able to stim

*obligatory, this is very simplified because of character limit, but I hope this helped!

Your matchup is: Semi Eita

How you met: You’re working part time as a bartender at a place where Semi regularly performs with his band. He probably does 2-3 shows per month, and you come in early before the night starts to set up the bar, so the two of you end up talking because it’s only the two of you in the bar until opening. You’re working on finishing up your college degree and Semi just graduated and started his job as a civil servant. The two of you strike up easy conversation whenever he’s setting up for the night, and by now you know his regular drink and have it ready for him after he and the band finish their set. Eventually, you find out that the two of you actually attended the same university, only that you were in different departments/colleges.

Your first date: I feel like Semi is the kind of guy who will play things by ear for a while - and figure out if you’re interested or not. He probably just approaches you after his set and sits down at the bar until closing, sipping his favorite drink. He offers to help you clean up and the two of you enjoy companionable silence. Probably acts all chill/suave and is like “hey do you want to go out with me?” once you finish locking up the bar. For your first date, probably a nice dinner befor hand followed by a movie. I feel like Semi is a sucker for classic date ideas. Ooo but he’d probably take you to a drive in movie theatre - probably in a pickup truck. He packs several blankets, pillows + snacks so the two of you can lie in the bed of the truck watching the movie in peace. Lots and lots of cuddling during said movie.

Your first kiss: Ahhh it’s so romantic bc it also happens on your first date. The credits are rolling and people are slowly starting to pack up their stuff but you and Semi just sit there, kind of leaning on each other and enjoying each other’s presence. Slowly the lights + the projector turn off and it’s just the two of you and the stars. Mayhaps there is (coincidentally) a shooting star or meteor shower as you cup his cheek to bring his face closer to yours. I just imagine after the first time your lips touch Semi can’t get enough and pulls you closer, dragging you into his lab where the two of you continue to make out for quite a bit before packing things up and driving back to the city. When he drops you off at your place late at night he pulls you into another long and fierce kiss before you get out of the car.

Anniversary: I feel like Semi would get you two matching/paired leather jackets - custom made/comissioned with some elaborate embroidery. They wouldn’t be identical, but the designs would be similar or centered around a similar theme - maybe the same flower/object embroidered but with slightly different designs that represent your individual quirks and personalities - your jacket might have symbols related to astrology, have some laces/ties whereas semi’s might have some references to his band + volleyball. I feel like you might get creative and maybe getting some custom jewelry for the two of you - some rings, studs, earrings, etc. For the day of the anniversary itself - the two of you have a lazy day at home - maybe a jam session or karaoke session where Semi plays the guitar + binge watching marvel movies or something.

How they propose: Probably after you graduate from university. Semi still plays gigs at the bar you used to work at, except now that you have a full time job in a field you’re passionate about, you’re usually part of the audience, nursing some fruity version of a Long Island iced tea. As the band has grown, Semi has also grown as a songwriter (let’s be real he’s secretly a poet) so they’ve been performing more and more songs with Semi’s original lyrics/melodies. Towards the end of the night, when the bar isn’t as crowded, Semi steps up to the mic and dedicates the next song (I think he might call it “glowing eyes in the evening”) and it’s basically a song about your first date + other memories in your relationship. At the end he walks into the audience and kneels down in front of you, and says “Hey, can we get married?”

What your wedding looks like: Definitely on the smaller side - Semi is a private person and invites a small group of people that he genuinely cares about + really values to the wedding. I feel like both of you have kind of a punk + modern aesthetic, so I feel like your wedding might also reflect that - I’m thinking you’ll probably find a gothic style chapel (architecture wise) to get married in bc it matches your aesthetic, but also the decorations would be super sleek + modern. As part of your reception Semi sings you a song + your first dance is to the recording of the song he sang when he proposed. I think Ushijima and Tendou tag team the best men toast and Semi probably yells at Tendou to stop calling him “semi semi” but also Tendou comes in clutch by providing desserts/chocolate for your wedding.

Newlywed/domestic hc: You and Semi buy a house together, mainly because you convert one of the larger bedrooms into a creative studio/haven of sorts. It’s soundproof so Semi can jam inside and also has a bunch of production equipment but it’s also sort of cozy - with fairy lights, bean bags and a lot of throw pillows + blankets. Also there’s a lot of cupboards of stuff that you use for your artistic/creative projects. Also I feel like you and Semi would enjoy couple workouts - maybe every weekend on Saturday morning you’ll clear out your living room and lay out some yoga mats + weights and follow a workout video together.
