Below is my TMNT Master List, but I have some thoughts I wanted to make sure were apparent since this post is pinned!

So! Thoughts/rules of engagement for this blog.

For your consideration, in the turtles meet eachother AU: 2012 Donatello 'I feel like a freak and just want to be human' Hamato meeting Casey 'Physically a human, culturally a mutant turtle' Jones Jr.

I feel like this can only end in them trying out a Body Swap.

"Hey, Other Master Donatello?"

"For the last time, please just say Donnie."

"Sorry. Um, I was thinking. You know how you wish you could be human?"

"Gee, no, I forgot about that."

"Right. Well, I always wondered- see, even though my Mom raised me for most of my life until she- well, I spent most of my time training, usually with Master Leonardo and my other Sensei's, and they kept forgetting I was a turtle like them. A lot of what they taught me was sort of turtle-specific and we had to work on how to adjust it for humans."

"Okay..."

"So, at some point it made me start feeling sort of, weird, about my body. Disconnected."

"We're just commiserating over shared species identity issues now?"

"No! I was thinking, maybe, we could try... swapping. You said it happened to your Ma- your Raph, once, right?"

"You- you're willing to swap bodies? You want to be a mutant?"

"I'm curious! And, besides, I want to try a few things I was taught but could never do myself!"

"... I... suppose as long as we know we can swap back..."

They do NOT tell anyone else because They Would Be Stopped. But boy howdy they go through with it (I just know Rise Donnie has a body-swap machine laying around somewhere that he made at like 4 am one night after too many coffees and promptly forgot about, 2012 just needs to check it over and tinker a bit and bam) and everyone else is just-

"Okay, tell me right now what you two were doing in my lab unsupervi-! Wait, something is off here."

Casey in Donnie's body is ooohing and ahhhing over how weird but strong he feels and how the shell actually has feeling, which he didn't expect, and Donnie in Casey's body is just still and staring into a mirror with wide eyes.

"Oh, no." Rise Donnie looks between them, and then at the machine. "You- I- OTHER LEO, YOUR BROTHER DID SOMETHING INCREDIBLY STUPID!"

Literally everyone rushes downstairs at that, there's a moment of confusion because 2012 Leo was certain it must have been Mikey or Raph, but then-

"They swapped!"

"They- Donnie what-"

"Look at me!" The voice is probably the only part Donnie wishes transferred over, but ah well, small sacrifice. "I- ha! I'm human! I- this is amazing! Even the sensation of the air is different, my skin is so much thinner now!"

"So this is why Sensei always worried so much about me having armor," Casey marvels, scratching at the plastron in amazement at how protected he feels. He startles. "Wow, your voice sounds weird with my speech patterns."

"I know!" Donnie is full-on giddy, bouncing in place. "And-and I feel so light! How do human ever have trouble sneaking?!"

"Sooo... this is probably unhealthy, right?" Rise Leo whispers to 2012 Leo. "Because we cannot let them stay like that forever."

"If they're both happy though, why not?" Rise Mikey whispers back. "All that could happen is instinct could cause them to misuse the bodies, and Donnie could get Casey's spine broken in a fight forgetting he doesn't have a shell and Casey could hurt himself not realizing how strong he is nooooooohhhhh oh okay, I get it."

"Well, they'll have to stay like this for at least a day," Rise Donnie says, scowling as he checks the machine. "It's going to take a while to charge enough to do that again."

"I'm going to go the park!" 2012 Donnie is buzzing with excitement. "And I'm going to get ice cream, and-and talk to other people! I'm going to wear- what should I wear? Ha, I've never had to consider clothes before! Okay, um, I always thought big hoodies looked nice, and- jeans! I want to know why people love jeans so much!"

"I have to do some sparring before we swap back!" Casey goes up to Rise Leo and grins hopefully. "You always had to hold back so much in the future, now we can spar for real!"

"This is going to be a long day," 2012 Leo grumbles.

In the end they both enjoy the experiences very much but also miss their own bodies, but I think they do like. A once-a-month body swap from then on so Donnie can enjoy Human Activities and Casey can mess around while being like 20 times less vulnerable and stronger (those mutants are strong as FUCK and no-one can change my mind, yes including 2012).

Everyone worries a little about Donnie's mental health in the whole situation and keep an eye out for if it worsens his whole dysphoria thing he has going on but for the most part it actually seems to be alleviating it a lot. They're all quite surprised as how well Casey can use Donnie's body in training (never real combat if it can helped, just in case) and realize he really was trained to fight like a turtle and BOY does he excel at it.

My take on the Bayverse Boys MOB!AU

Greetings from the woods!

This is something I’ve been working on for a while but always been unsure on posting. However, I’ve recently understood that we only live once so, why not try this?

Might become a series later on, who knows?

GENERAL

I am taking HUGE inspiration from Jade City and Six of Crows for this part, so stay with me on this.

- I’m team lab experiment. In my view it could very well be kept the way the movie has portrayed them. So, let’s begin with the principle.

- While I can see the turtles being hatched in the lab, I think Splinter wasn’t born there, but rather in a sort of pet shop but his reminiscence on that period in his life has always been kind of blurry. The only thing he remembers is that he was quite old by the time he was bought by a little girl named April and his father, becoming her pet. April has always been loving and careful with Splinter, and that he would always remember.

- At some point April’s father decided to start using Splinter for some of his experiments and that, once more, has been quite a blurry period in the rat’s life.

- The whole ordeal with the lab basically follows the bay!movies quite religiously until a certain point.

- One night, the four brothers ran out of the lair out of curiosity. It was on Halloween, the perfect night for them to get a glimpse of the outer world before being forced back into the sewers. Once out for what should have just been a small stroll out of their home, they all started to find new attraction for the world. The lights, the smells, the taste of the world above the surface was all too much for such small and inexperienced boys; but the most interesting attraction they found was a parade, the classic type you could find in the streets every mystical night of the year, with performers moving from one side to the other of the street. The boys ended up becoming part of it before even realising it. It could have been the best night of their lives, but none of the four boys knew that night would become their turning point.

- But it didn't take much for people to notice that they weren't children in costumes.

- the moment people understood, the boys were assaulted and it took all their willpower and strenght to get out of that situation, crawling back to the lair in tears and with bruises everywhere.

- the worse of them was Raphael, who someone had hit with a broken bottle, leaving a wound on the side of his face. He now has a scar, reminding him of that night.

- Of course, Splinter was furious for his sons' insubordination.

- he gave all four of them a different punishment, something he called the HASHI.

- But the thing is that Splinter learnt quite fast that he and his sons will never be accepted in the world, so he needed to find a way to ensure that, to some degree, his sons would be able to defend themselves. Did he find a book on martial arts in the sewers while sweeping the floor? Absolutely not.

- See, I like to think he came in contact with the Foot Clan by accident, in particular with Shredder.

- Let's say that the man was surveyign some of his men's activity down the docks and walked into splinter gathering food for his sons and himself.

- The man was flabbergasted.

- Now, Shredder isn's stupid. He knew about the experiements Sacks was making in the lab and, seeing a giant rat running around the docks, it doesn't take much for him to put 2 and 2 together.

- So he decides to take that opportunity.

- He approaches Splinter and the two -although with some reluctance on Splinter's side for obvious reasons- start talking.

- Splinter sees right then and there the chance to make himself and his sons not only able to fend themselves, but also a way not to live forever in the sewers.

- It takes a while for him to take a decision but he eventually sides with Shredder, joining the Foot Clan and learning from the man how to deal with a business.

- In a certain way, it was Shredder that introduced Splinter to the world of business.

- He also made sure Splinter and the turtles learnt martial arts

- Shredder is a patient man, after all, he will take what he wants, but he'll make sure that it will be done on his own terms, according to his needs.

- Splinter quickly rises in the organisation, becoming Shredder's collaborator. The old rat would go as far as to say he was friends with the man, much like the 2012 series,

- But I wouldn't be here to tell you this story if it had all ended well, right?

- Splinter finds out about Shredder true plans thanks to Donatello, who had learnt to hack into any computer and database. At first the boy had not understood, after all he had been little more than a hatchling back when he, his borthers and his father had been experimented on.

- but once he shows the rusults of his research to Splinter, boy, the rat is FURIOUS.

- cue fall out with Shredder (that is way too long to write about, but I will in the future. Maybe)

- After that Splinter splits from Shredder.

- His methods, quite different from the leader of the Foot Clan, made many men inside the organisation change their minds and side with him instead than with Shredder.

- So he quickly created his own business, always antagonising Shredder and the Foot.

- Splinter's whole persona changed after that betrayal, he doesn't trust anyone else after that.

- Apart from his sons and April, who he had met once more and with whom he has rebuilt a strong friendship, sometimes even referring to her as the daughter he never had.

- He led the organisation until a certain point before being assassinated by the Foot Clan.

- In his will, he had appointed Leonardo as his heir and successor, which wasn't very unexpected, but in truth the business has been somehow divided between the four brothers, in order to avoid any kind of bad blood between the four brothers.

Leonardo

You’ll never be half the man Splinter was.

- Leo was 15 when Splinter and Shredder had their fall out, at present he's 25 and main Head to the business since the moment Splinter died.

- He was actually the one who _found_ him dead in his office, and he still has nightmares about it.

- He has severe confidence problems because he thinks he'll never live up to the expectations that have been forced upon him, and if someone brings up his father in front of him, he WILL take it as a personal attack.

- His brothers secretly all think he has had it easier because he has always been Splinter's favourite,

- spoiler alert: he hasn’t.

- He had to set the example, being the one the others would look up to, he needed to be a second parent for his siblings, which sometimes led him to act like a dick to each one of them.

- Also, I don't think people point this out enough, but the man has an OCD so terrible he might go insane any moment if something isn't exactly as he wants it to be or if something goes in an unexpected way.

- In his mind, tho, outside he’s perfectly calm and collected.

- He's also the one who will opt for violence as a last resort, because killing isn't really his cup of tea, actually: it's too messy and he doesn’t like the dirty feeling he gets. Like, if a drop of blood falls on his jacket he'll be pissed. He much prefers leaving the reins to Raphael when it comes to it.

- What he DOES do is giving the order. There is nothing in the organisation that happens without his say so.

- Did I mention that he's a control freak?

- Literally nobody moves until he gives his command on an operation, whatever that is.

- He's also kind of spoiled, and he's not used to being told 'no.' He gets what he wants. End of story. And that applies to relationships too.

- Now, listen. He's lowkey the second-top-tear-gangsta-boyfriends, but he will always pick his family over anything or anyone. That is not up for discussions. You okay with it? great. You're not? the door's that way.

- That doesn't mean he doesn’t love, tho.

- I can see him having very few relationships in the past, all of them very serious ones, but he tries his best never to get his s/o into the business, because he knows things will get risky.

- After Splinter's death, he has cut off all ties.

- He can't, for the love of him, fall in love after that. Casual fuck? sure, why not. But love is off the table, because he knows that if he finds himself in the same situation he had been when he had found Splinter's corpse... Let's say that his mental state will only get worse.

Raphael

My kind of rebirth tasted like blood.

- Raphael just turned 25 rn, and while he and Leo can and will most likely bang their heads together in multiple occasions, he doesn’t mind that his brother is the actual lead of the business.

- ⁠He just cares to be respected and to be recognized as important in the business.

- ⁠He’s responsible for the dealing of weapons and in charge of taking care of the subjects that Leo thinks is right to eliminate for the wellbeing of the business

- ⁠Raphael used to have a very conflicted relationship with splinter, being the rebellious child that he is; but when his father died, Raphael developed severe depression and has been on meds for a few years.

- ⁠If you name his father, he’ll probably need to start therapy all over again, so please don’t do it.

- ⁠Anger issues stayed tho, and if anything, they worsened instead of getting better.

- ⁠He argues a lot with Leo when it comes to take action because diplomacy can’t be the solution to everything, sometimes you have to show that you’re stronger than others.

- ⁠But sometimes he takes things a bit too personally

- ⁠like that time when someone cheated on his brother and he wanted to hang them out the headquarters and kill the bastard who they cheated with in the worse way possible.

- ⁠he was told off, but he still managed to get the two involved in a severe accident and send them both to the hospital.

- ⁠did I mention that he’s fiercely loyal?

- ⁠Among his brothers, this man probably would rather die than betray his family.

- ⁠Does that include his s/o? it depends.

- ⁠If it comes down to choosing between his s/o or his family, meh…

- ⁠Blood runs thicker than water.

- ⁠He’s a passionate lover, always present when he needs to be, but it’s most likely that he will have jealous outbursts more times than he’s had breakfast.

- ⁠Fact is, he loves. A lot. He’s like a match burning. So either you understand that, and you burn forever, or he’s going to burn too quickly and the relationship dies.

- ⁠Now, everyone says that he’s in a toxic relationship

- ⁠I think so too, but not in the same way.

- ⁠I can see him being with this girl for something like a month or two and then problems starting.

- ⁠The thing is that this relationship at this point is hanging by a thread

- ⁠a very strong one, actually.

- ⁠They have a daughter.

- ⁠Raphael is the only one between his brothers to have a child (a legitimate one, at least), and he will kill for his daughter.

- ⁠Also, the child was born before Splinter died, and against all odds, he was happy to become grandfather.

- ⁠I think that’s important to mention that it’s extremely hard to have children with a mutant, so ofc everyone was happy

- ⁠but now he needs to figure out his relationship with the mother of his child

Donatello

Suffering feels religious if you do it right.

- Donnie has just turned 25 but his back feels like he’s 65

- ⁠Is actually the one who’s most mad about the succession after Splinter’s death and still feels kind of bitter over it

- ⁠responsible for the IS and trafficking of all sorts of information across the organisation and outside of it.

- ⁠Expert in hacking but also cyber security so he knows how to attack and defend on computing level

- ⁠has contacts all across the globe and can’t be bothered by anyone

- ⁠he suffer from severe anxiety but tries his best to keep it under control, no matter the amount of meds or weed that he consumes

- ⁠But still he will drink more coffee than water

- ⁠He also suffers from severe insomnia (same mate) and honestly? he can’t be bothered about it. (his brothers are trying to make him start an healthy sleeping schedule, tho)

- ⁠He had the most fucked up relationship with splinter and he grew up either being ignored or being mistreated, and that only made him lose more of his sanity than his life already had

- ⁠apart from Leo, with whom he has quite a conflicted relationship at times, he’s in good terms with Mikey and Raph, especially the latter since they are the “middle twins”

- ⁠Donnie is also in charge of the interrogations and torture (if it ever comes to it), but he’s very efficient at both

- ⁠As I said, everyone in the family has a twisted mind but he’s kind of the worse

- ⁠because he’s grown to be very reclusive of his feelings and so he has to let them out in some kind of way, right?

- ⁠Most of all, tho, he worries about the strategical and logical overview of the business and, even though he’s not in the best terms with Leo, he still is his right hand in making decisions that are pivotal to the organisation.

- ⁠Remember when I said that Leo is a control freak? this man too

- ⁠He also has a tendency to be pessimistic and paranoid so he has cams everywhere that he uses to make sure everything is good and all right.

- ⁠Will also do the same in relationships

- ⁠he has very low self esteem so he’ll never believe to be good enough for someone and that his s/o will cheat on him first chance they get

- ⁠so he takes precautions

- ⁠I can also see him being very hard to open up. He’s not shy, he’s just very hard to make him trust someone. He’ll think they want to try to get to him out of something they want and not because they’re really interested in him

- ⁠but when you do manage to get inside his ‘inner circle’ (it might take some time) he’s never going to let you go, be aware of that

- ⁠Still, the same drill applies to him too: will he ever choose his s/o over his family? unlikely.

- ⁠He’s not in a relationship at the moment but he doesn’t mind, he’s way too busy with work and with making sure his brothers stay out of trouble

- 100% has a scheming face (quoting Kaz Brekker)

Michelangelo

This darkness is my light.

- the baby of the family, how adorable

- ⁠He’s 24 and might as well be the one people underestimate the most

- ⁠He’s in charge of the communication department, and this man is good at what he does. Moves around the internal and external communication like a pro and he’s the top person you want to talk to when you have a problem

- ⁠except when he’s not in the right mood.

- ⁠This man can change his behavior in a matter of moments. Might be kind and smiling one moment and the next he’s going to hit someone with a hammer

- ⁠You have to pray he’s in a good mood if you ever want to ask him something

- ⁠The only one who can actually restrain his behavior is Leo. Mikey won’t listen to anyone but him and if you talk shit about his older brother he’s gonna throw fists.

- ⁠Don’t ever say anything bad about his family. He will hunt you down and make you regret your life choices.

- ⁠He’s the most loyal of his brothers. He will choose his family over and over again and there’s no way someone can make change his mind, no sir.

- ⁠He’s devoted to his family and yes, maybe he could make a few mistakes because he’s chatty most of the time, but he’ll make sure to fix everything to protect his brothers

- ⁠also he’s very protective

- ⁠He has ADHD and a dissociative personality disorder.

- ⁠He’s currently going to therapy but it’s not really helping, at least, that’s what he says

- he also likes gambling, he think he’s some kind of god of gamble. Legit.

-Has 100% played russian roulette or the knife game at least once

- ⁠He had a strange relationship with Splinter.

- ⁠His father loved him, and being the little one of the family clearly made him more in need of reassurance and affection, especially from his father

- ⁠But he also was overlooked quite a lot, at least by Splinter

- ⁠hence Leo becoming a sort of second father figure to him

- ⁠So while Leo is daddy’s boy, Mikey is his brothers’ boy

- ⁠Hence him being very protective of his older brothers

- ⁠Mikey has a lot of friends, like, A LOT.

- ⁠he knows how to read people and he knows how to manipulate them in the best way

- ⁠Be ready because this man takes pride in how well he can terrify someone or make them love him

- ⁠as about relationships,

- he suffers from erotomania (a form of delusional disorder in which an individual believes that another person is in love with them), so he’s being deluded one too many times but he’s had a bit of practice.

- ⁠He falls in love easily and hard, so he happens to often find his heartbroken because he can’t tell when someone is after him or after his money

- ⁠hence his brothers trying to teach him how to understand when someone is genuine or not

- ⁠he’s still learning

Okay, I really loved your rant on your Dark Au with Bat Y/N.

Like sooooo good!!!!

I was wondering (cause hell don't we all) what would happen if Y/N got kidnapped?? Like they could be the turtles S/O or close friend, but what would they do?

Just one day coming back from a mission and seeing the place trashed (mostly readers room) and y/n no we're in sight?

I imagine that it was another rival gang, trying to up their status or smth. Completely oblivious of how their throats will be ripped out soon.

And what each turtles reaction would be? And how they would act when they finally found you all beaten up and blooded?

(bonus points if captures torture. And if Bat Y/N then definitely have ripped wings.)

Four words. All. Hell. Breaks. Loose.

Imagine coming home to see the bat mutant you kidnapped turned S/O is fucking gone.

At first, they thought you just ran away until they saw blood on the floor, and everything trashed

Luckily for them, they put a tracker on you

Finding you in a rival Clan's base is.... startlingly scary

The minute they find out your EXACT location they haul ass in the turtle tank to said location

I feel like, similar to their normal counterparts, they're impulsive, except x100

Aka, they go in guns blazing like a bunch of self-preservation lacking lunatics

The rival clan can't even react properly due to how out-of-nowhere the attack was.

In about 5 minutes the entire clan that was at the base is wiped out

finding you depends on how many floors the building has, so anywhere from immediately to 15 minutes

after finding you, depending on the injuries, they might react differently

Little to no injuries just makes them just untie you and help you get back to the lair, maybe small panic but overall, they calm down quickly

But Major injuries (Like ripped wings, deep wounds, etc)? They start getting pissed off and 'baby' you

It's not even babying, just holding you close and having a verbal rage fit

Mikey's hugging you, crying and laughing manically.

Donnie is fuming and it's a 50/50 that he does or doesn't commit arson

Raph is.... sitting beside you silently looking at your wounds, trying not to explode

Leo is scolding Donnie for not having better security systems, and if he pisses him off enough there WILL be a bomb in the building

Leo ends up carrying you home and is bitching at you for being weak (little fucker can't handle big feelings)

It takes a while but Donnie patches you up, it'll take weeks for everything to heal and after that

get ready.

Self-defense Martial arts such as Brazilian Jiu Jutsu, Muay Thai, Judo, and Karate lessons will happen almost daily

It'll hurt like hell because they're super well trained in these arts, and will NOT hold back

It's just their emotionally constipated/unemotional pissbaby way of caring for you

But for MONTHS if not forever they WILL keep you near them 24/7, you get no fuckin privacy, I'm sorry

They take you everywhere, Missions, Foot clan meetings, To the battle nexus (big mistake if big mama sees your unique coat)

If it's too 'dangerous' one sticks behind (Which they fuckin HATE, but they also hate leaving you alone)

Splinter and (probably) Draxum have blackmail photos of you in any of the turtles' laps napping. no I will not elaborate.

A little bit of a timeline for my Turtles Forever AU because my posts are a mess and I want to explain some things:

In the beginning the 12 gang who was currently housing the Rise gang was trying to get them back to their original universe cuz while the 12 gang loves their younger counterparts they couldn't exactly stay. During the experiment conducted by 12 Donnie and Rise Donnie to try and open a portal to the Rise gang's home reality something went wrong and ended up dragging the two groups of turtles and humans into a portal and caused them to end up being thrown into the 03 lair. Due to this it caused a ripple effect of sorts and ended up not only dragging them into this strange new lair but also the 07 gang, Bayverse gang and 87 gang into it as well. Things went a bit hectic and insane when the 03 gang was bombarded by several variations of themselves and their friends.

Sometime later after a bit of tension and some secrets being exposed (12 Splinter), the groups of turtles and humans end up somewhat starting to get along and 87 Donnie, 03 Donnie, 07 Donnie, 12 Donnie, Bayverse Donnie and Rise Donnie began to work on trying to fix things to get everyone home. It was during one of their test runs where they believed that they had managed to finally get a lead that again something went wrong with the portal and ended up again dragging more people into the 03 lair. Or more specifically one person. Ronin Mikey. Afterwards things went to hell for a brief time but after getting the older turtle to calm down and not try to kill them things settled into a somewhat tense truce.

The third time the group of purple genius turtles tried their portal experiment, which again was sometime later it again backfired and again ended up dragging three more people to the 03 lair, those people being Rise Casey Jr, Rise Future Leo, and Rise Future Mikey. After that 87 Leo, 03 Leo, 07 Leo, 12 Leo, Bayverse Leo and Rise Raph put their foot down as the eldest children of their siblings and forced their genius brothers to take a breather to try and figure things out without the experiments. (They can't exactly fit more into the 03 lair given that it's already somewhat crowded with everyone). They're now currently trying to figure things out and to hopefully get everyone back to their respective universes but until then they're roommates.

Somehow due to the transportation of different variations of the gang being taken out of their respective realities, there will be brief moments where others will pop into the 03 lair for a moment before being dropped back off to their original reality. Some of these people include:

12 Karai, 12 Mona Lisa, 12 Mondo Gecko, 12 Shinigami and 12 Leatherhead.

Rise Karai and occasionally Rise Saki.

87 Mona Lisa, 87 Kala and her friends, 87 Mondo Gecko, 87 Rasputin, 87 Attila, 87 Napoleon, 87 Genghis, 87 Irma, and 87 Vernon, and 87 Lotus.

07 Karai.

Bayverse Karai and Bayverse Vernon.

Ronin Casey Marie and Ronin April.

They never stay long and it's only for brief periods of time. The boys don't know how this works and often times the group geniuses amongst them are left feeling extremely frustrated by the lack of knowledge on these occurrences.

Day of Dragons. The dragons are cool. I don’t care about any drama in the community. I’m here for the cool fucking dragons.

The Isle. Once again, I don’t care about any drama in the community. I’m here for the cool ass dinosaurs because you can customize your own skins and they just look and sound cool (Dilo, Herarra, and Ptera are my faves)

Lethal Company. Do it for the Company.

RainWorld. Scugs and Scups. Need I say more?

Hollow Knight. Sorta falling out of this one, but until I beat the entire game (P5) I am not finished.

Minecraft. Technically in “the fandom”, but not really attached to a specific YTer or anything like that anymore. I just like the game.

IGP. His content is just interesting. The way he freaks out over shit is funny as hell. Does he do content with IcyCaress anymore? Their banter was funny, but idk if something happened, cuz I just don’t see much stuff with Icy in it anymore.

Another timeline of my Universes AU:

Raphie joining the family at one years old, the others already being teens and everything being as usual up to that point.

One day the Au kids arrive at home, only to find a new little turtle staring back at them. It's when they find out Raphie's indeed their biological brother and has been taken in by their mother, at least temporarily although in the end he's here to stay forever. :>

At one point they just arrive at the lair of the canon turtles with Raphie in their midst, going:"So, guess who has a new little brother now?" and Mikey and Leo are immediately dying of cuteness, although it doesn’t take long until Raph and Donnie have melted as well. :3

Part 2

Another part! Hopefully it's good! I'm too tired to proofread it, so I am deeply sorry if anything sounds stupid.

Once again, series based off of Anna Bates song "Last man on Earth" and a random writing prompt I saw months ago.

An au set where the reader has ended up immortal and as the last man on earth due to a medicine that everyone had to take that was meant to lengthen human life[spoilers: it didn't.], until... actual alien turtles show up. That's basically it.

Well your muscles were certainly aching. Were you stopping? No. No you weren't going to, not until your legs gave out. You thought before that you'd stop when your muscles really started to ache. You changed your mind. As much as you wanted to stop, you didn't want to be anywhere near the turtle being thing. You'd be lucky if it didn't chase you, especially with how you ran away immediately.

The sky was darkening and all you could hear was wind as it whistled by. The scenery around you mostly trees from what you could tell. You were far from buildings. Was this deep into central park or did you manage to run out of the city? The first one seemed more plausible, but then again, you didn't know how far your home was from the outskirts of New York.

Breathing felt like the hardest thing to do right now. You weren't sure how long you were running but it felt like both forever and seconds at the same time. Everything felt gross, even your surroundings, and your surroundings weren't even running. Things were blurry and unfamiliar to you, but you didn't think it was because you hadn't been here before. You were sure you had.

You could feel your legs slowing, you were stumbling, and everything was heavy, like you'd strapped weights to all of your limbs and forced yourself to run a marathon.

This was going to hurt.

Down with the royal! You've fallen, scraping every available skin you thought you had. Did the ground have to be the most gravelly surface you'd come in contact with? It didn't feel like that when you were running, where did all these rocks come from.

"Fuck! Damnit!" You hissed out as well as you could, feeling like you were rolling still.

Obviously, you haven't been rolling in the dirt the past 20 seconds, so why'd it still feel like you were moving? Probably the running actually. Your mind foggy, you could barely even hear your next thoughts. You wondered if the turtle guy actually did follow you. What would it do? Would it really be horrible if you passed out right now, took a quick little nap? Listening was hard but you knew you needed to, if the turtle did follow you, you'd need to hear it and be able to get up and keep running.

You couldn't hear much. Just a bunch of wind and trees. There was that little bite at your mind telling you there was something else you heard but you weren't going to believe it. Not this time.

Maybe you should've. As everything turned to the feeling of moving water you actually did hear something new, a few quiet but heavy thumps some feet away from you.

That better just be a really big deer.

Your eyes opened, and you couldn't see where you were. It was all blurry, like you put a gaussian blur filter over your eyes. Trying to move your body felt like being stabbed every millimeter it actually moved. Wincing, you powered through it, and sat up. What you remembered from before you passed out was that you were running, and in unfamiliar territory. You felt like retracing your steps, but when you rubbed off the blurriness you realized you weren't near where you passed out. You'd remember if you ended up passing out next to a whole ass fountain.

This was not where you were, where were you? What happened, and how did you get here? You racked your mind trying to remember what happened just before you went lights out, you couldn't remember close enough to when you actually passed out and it was freaking you out.

You tried standing as normally as you could, which didn't go well. You fell down immediately, your legs and shoulders feeling like you dipped them in acid then poked everywhere you could with pins. You tried again, with the fountain for support this time. The result was just about the same, you got further up but that was about it. You'd have to sit and wait. At least it looked like the fountain has water in it. It was better than nothing.

Deciding to try and figure out how you got here with just your mind power you went back to thinking about last night. That also brought up another thought, what time was it? You looked around, analyzing your surroundings while looking for the sun. The leaves around you seemed to be growing on the destroyed remains of a building, so you were at least in New York again. The glass was tinted with greens, matching with the vines and flowers that managed to grow on it. It was really quite pretty, the sun shines through all of it amazingly, casting beautiful sun rays all around. Oh right, the sun!

It looked close to the middle of the sky, you weren't going to stare at it so you couldn't really tell which way it was going. Either way it was close to noon, how long did that mean you were out for? It was only just starting to get dark so more than 12 hours. At least that's cleared up.

You've never been a sleepwalker, at least not after the 1st year of total loneliness, so that was almost entirely not what happened. You remember running, you fell and listened around you... Oh. The thumps. There's still a chance it wasn't the turtle. You don't have to freak out yet. Whatever it was seemed to have moved you here. You couldn't help but wonder how far it took you, and why it took you just to leave you here. Now you had an entirely new set of questions to focus on.

Unfortunately you didn't have long to ponder them, as you started hearing the thumps again, along with rustling leaves and plants. You scrambled, looking for a place to at least hide before whatever it was popped out of the bushes at you. Even if you found a hiding spot you didn't think you could move fast enough to reach it, so you resorted to hiding behind the fountain as well as you could. You listened to the thumps, hearing where they came from and moving as well as you could to the opposite side of the fountain.

You definitely weren't on the complete opposite side, but you hoped it would work well enough. Listening closely, the rustling came to an end as you assumed the thing arrived in the building. Right now you would love to peek over the fountain, but with how little there is to look at in the general area you'd be seen almost immediately.

Another few moments of silence before you heard a sigh and then moving once more. It wasn't moving away, it was moving closer. You weren't surprised, but you were definitely upset. As it rounded the fountain it saw you, just sort of scrunched up against the side of the not-very-good-hiding-spot fountain. You let go of a breath you didn't know you were holding and fell to the ground again, there was no point in even trying if you couldn't get further than the fountain in 30 seconds.

It was definitely the turtle, obviously it would be the turtle. You seemed to alarm it, as it moved closer in what looked like a worried way. Looking at it with the hardest glare you could muster, you moved your arms to what felt like a dead body in a coffin. The turtle, though hesitant, still moved to your side, seeming to check over you for a second.

It jumbled something out you couldn't understand, it sounded similar to English but it was scrambled. Maybe that's it's language? Did it think you could understand it?

"What?" You wondered if it understood you either.

A second passed without any noise from either of you, the turtle seemed to be thinking about it, hopefully realizing you didn't speak the language it did. It mumbled something, that even if it were English you didn't think you'd be able to understand it, then reached out for your shoulder. You wanted to hit it's hand away, but you weren't sure what that would accomplish. It pulled you up carefully, looking to see if it was hurting you. You were hurting but you didn't want to let it know that, finally listening to your mind you swatted at it's hand, catching it a bit off guard. The turtle did listen though, it let you go and you moved yourself, putting your back to the fountain and facing it.

The silence that fell after was tense, if you had a knife you wouldn't be able to cut it. Neither of you knew what to do, you couldn't understand it, and you assumed it didn't understand you. It was always worth a shot though.

"Can you understand me?" You shot out, at least hoping it could understand.

It looked at you with the most confused look you've seen on a creature, obviously it could not understand you. You leaned your head back and sighed, of course you were with something that could actually speak and neither of you could understand each other. The universe said no talking for you.

"Of course! Of course, of course, of course. The first thing I come in contact with that can speak and I don't understand you, you don't understand me, could there be a more perfect match!?" If your arms didn't hurt as much as they did you'd be throwing them around like that was what you were talking with.

You looked at the turtle again, hoping for at least a reaction you could understand. Luckily, that was a language it could understand too. Reactions. It looked like it understood your frustration, which was good. At least that was getting across. It moved it's hand to it's chin, doing that silly stereotypical thinking pose. You'd do that too if you could, unfortunately you didn't want to be riddled with pain for a little joking around right now. You did think too though, as hard as you could. Maybe.... Maybe it'd understand hands? But what hand motions could express what's going on? If it didn't know English it wasn't going to know sign language so, obviously you're not doing that.

You lifted your arm in front of the turtle, not getting a reaction. It was really deep in thought wasn't it? You snapped your fingers a few times, getting it's attention. You pointed at it. It looked confused and tilted its head. You pointed at it again, and then made a gesture you hoped would come across as asking who or what it was. It pointed to itself, doing that thing people do when they ask if it's you they mean. Obviously, you meant the turtle, there was nobody else around. You moved your hand as you thought, making it apparent there was nobody else around that you could be pointing at. Even though this was the weirdest situation you'd ever been in, you hoped you weren't coming across as too mean. You were obviously annoyed but with this being the first being you've met in literally 5 years that even has a chance of understanding you, you wanted to make a good first impression.

The turtle stared at you for a second, probably thinking of what you meant by just pointing at it. You didn't know what you meant either.

"...Raph" It said slowly, pointing to itself again.

Was that a name? That was probably a name right? You pointed at him and repeated.

"You're... Raph? Is that a name...?" You knew it couldn't understand most of what you said, but it was more for your sake.

It nodded slightly, sort of processing your words even though it was probably only able to get its name out of the whole thing.

"Y/n" you said and pointed to yourself, hoping it knew you meant your name.

It nodded and pointed at you, saying your name before speaking in it's language again. Maybe Raph was saying the same thing you did, asking if that was your name. That would be pretty funny, you think. The two of you not being able to understand each other but saying the same thing in your languages hoping the other gets some of it.

What were you supposed to do now? You've been introduced but... What else can you talk about through hands and random words that weren't unexplainable, like names? It was obvious Raph didn't know either. So you both just sat there. Staring at each other. This was pretty uncomfortable.

You decided to make the next move and went to stand up. Your legs hurt just the same, but you were determined to at least get up. This really alarmed Raph, it moving its hand to grab at your shoulder again. It went at the right time though, as soon as it reached you, your legs gave out, and you were just about sent to the dirt. The touch still felt very weird, when you were carefully sat back on the ground you waved off it's hand again, which received a look you couldn't quite get.

You thought again, you needed to leave, and you wanted to go home. You couldn't move without falling to the ground right now though. There were two options, waiting a little while longer before leaving, or asking Raph as well as you could for help to get you home.

You'll sit and wait for now. You didn't know how much you could trust Raph, not that it wasn't being very kind in dealing with you, you just didn't know if it could be trusted enough to know your home location. Waiting is the easiest and most reasonable option right now.

Of course though, you'd have to be here waiting with Raph. You should at least get to know it a little right? How would you do that though? You looked up at the sunlight again, seeing if it had moved. How long had it even been?

"Raph." You said while pointing at it again.

It nodded and watched you. Not thinking this far, you put your hand on your chin, thinking. You thought of multiple questions, but no way to say them through hands. So you settled to point at Raph again and hold your hands out in what you hoped looked like you were holding a turtle. It didn't, and Raph looked very confused. You had to think again, that was the only idea you had and it did not work at all. Trying again, you pointed at it, and moved your hands to pat your back over your shoulders, hoping it'd come across as you talking about the shell. It copied you, putting it's hands over it's shoulders onto it's shell. Raph seemed to get you were talking about the shell now, but what you were trying to say about it definitely flew over its head. It'd fly over yours too though, if someone asked something about you like this.

Raph pointed to you, then to it's shell. You think it's asking if you want touch it's shell. You shrugged, and put your head in your hands. This is annoyingly difficult.

Just as you pointed to Raph again this sort of alarm thing went off on his wrist, scaring you and making Raph jump. It tapped the thing on its wrist, another voice came through and it responded, getting up and moving away. As it tapped its wrist again, it turned back to you like it only then realized you were still there. Raph thought for just a moment before lifting a hand and waving at you slowly, like it was hoping you'd understand that as well.

You did, and waved in return. This made it a bit happy, you think. It smiled and rushed off, probably to do whatever it was the voice on his wrist thing wanted it for.

Even though you hadn't exactly spoken to Raph, it still felt suddenly very lonely again. You didn't realize that just something being there that even sort of understood you felt like having a breath of fresh air after drowning for years. You felt bad now. Like, a sad bad. You kind of hoped Raph would come back eventually.

You think you'll stop calling him an it now too. He deserved as much.

Now you'd just wait. For as long as you needed to before you could get home yourself.

This is going to be a while, isn't it?

I’m still trying to figure out what I want to share about my AU so I figured I’d do this just to put something down(cause I felt like it)

I also just wanna say that I am planning on doing art for this eventually but I’m still pretty new to drawing the turtles so until I get more confident I’m not going to post it.

I’ve kind of been imagining this AU split up into seasons to make it easier to tell when what happens, this also means that each turtle gets a season where they are the focus. I currently have 5 mostly planned seasons, 1 that I’m still figuring out, and an idea for a bad future timeline(cause every Tmnt needs a bad future!)

Season 1 is Raph focused. The Shredder takes center stage as the villain with some minor Kraang activity, I also kind of cut down Karai’s ark(sorry Karai lovers) so that it could fit with and go side by side with Raph’s.

Season 2 is Mikey focused. With the Shredder having been temporarily defeated at the end of season 1 the Kraang take over as the main villains of this season. This season also ends with the Triceritons showing up and blowing up the Earth, basically the start to the space arc.

Season 3 is Donnie focused and is also basically the space arc but a whole season. The Kraang and Triceritons are both big enemies sooooo… this also ends with Shredder and the Kraang teaming up and forcing the turtles out of New York.

Season 4 is Leo focused. Yeah, the space arc basically transitions into the Barn arc cause that one is my favorite. The barnyard arc doesn’t take up the whole season but it lasts a bit longer cause why not. The second half of the season is devoted to stopping the Shredder and the Kraang.

Season 5 was going to the be the last season for a while until I had an idea that I really liked. I don’t want to get too far into it because it has some surprises but here’s the basics. Someone new has taken on the title of “the Shredder” but are they friend or foe? What do they want? And could they forever break apart the team? :)

Season 6 is still in the super early stages of being planned. I’m pretty sure it will be the end of the thing but I’m sure I’ll have stuff concerning the future of the turtles and the rest of cast.

i just finished reading "another day" which is basically "every day" by david levithan but from the GIRL's view! i swear this author just keeps stealing my heart-

i cried AGAIN at the ending oh GAWSH THE FEEEEELS HOLY CRAPPIDY POOH!!

it's sooo interesting and fascinating and the writing style 😩 *chef's kiss* if i could i would marry it seriously- i read this one on my kindle and i highlighted every second paragraph i feel like xD

Rhiannon falls so hard for A and you never realize until you read another day!!! it's so cool... and A suddenly realizes how much they are missing from having to switch bodies (tho there are advantages of course)

(i'm suddenly thinking of all these people that follow you and are super confused what this weird turtle is talking about... lemme throw in an apology abou that - sorry turtles!)

anygays it was awesome (apparently i have read it but i had no memory if it lmao) and i discovered there is a THIRD BOOK WHICH CONTINUES THEIR STORY!!!!

gaaaahhhh i'm so excited for it!!!

i'll decide if i will write a johnlock AU after reading that book (it's called "some day") but it would be a fun project!!! even though i am not sure how to write this in my own style and ig it would be giant but i am so hooked omg!

PPS: it's 2:45am where i live and i am like staaarving and it takes SO MUCH willpower to not just start the next (and last 😭) book... (okay i already got a sneak peek but still!!) yk when you're just so entranced by a book/story/universe you wanna keep reading forever but also can't wait to get to the end?? my gosh readers are poor creatures..

So how would Giovanni from the Twins au deal with everything that happens on the 2012 side of Lost But Never Found.

Ok so the story begins post season 5, after Giovanni leaves to travel the world.

Well one day he gets an urgent call from Raph, asking him to come home early from his traveling.

The reason why shocks him.

Leo has gone missing.

Which is both concerning and unusual considering that the city was at peace. Most of the action was just petty crime, not alien invasions or deadly feuds between clans.

Most of their villains were gone, either defeated or having since abandoned their evil ways.

So this is definitely out of the blue.

Giovanni returns home as quick as he can, when he enters the lair he doesnt even stay for two minutes before the now four turtles are all riding in the shellraiser, looking for their older brother.

They search the entire city, every single old Kraang hideout, Foot Clan base, everything. Not a single trace of Leo.

But they've only been searching for a few hours! They'll find him.

Hours turn into days.

Days turn into weeks.

Weeks turn into months.

Not a single trace of Leo.

Its like he just disappeared into thin air.

By the time they are four months into the search it becomes apparent that Van has more or less become the defacto leader, he was the next oldest after all. And god is he struggling. He's the medic, not the leader that was always Leo's thing. Making all the important decisions, all three of his younger brother looking to him for answers.

Its hard.

It is also around this time that Donnie makes a horrible statement, that causes one of the biggest fights between the Hamato brothers to date.

"We most likely aren't going to find Leo...and if we do he more than likely wont be alive."

It is Van that speaks first. Well speaks isnt the right word...screams is more like it.

"How can you say that?" Raph and Mikey shout similar responses, and the fight begins.

Deep down Van knows that Donnie is right, they had no leads for months, nothing to work with. Nothing indicating that Leo could still be alive. Hell the odds of finding most missing persons goes down drastically after the first twenty four hours.

Doesn't make it hurt any less. Because no Leo has to be alive. He's survived the worst the universe threw at him, just disappearing and gone forever was so out of pocket, so unbelievably unLeo that it couldn't be true.

And hearing his younger say that made Van's blood boil.

It ended in a screaming match between the four of them, some horrible words were thrown around until the four brothers were all hoarse, faces streaked with tears.

(Little did anyone know that the very next day, in another dimension, Indigo met a certain Red Eared Slider looking for a portal coin)

None of the four Hamato brothers spoke to each other for almost two weeks.

Van took the shellraiser out with Raph every single night, searching for his twin. He barely slept, barely ate, just kept searching and searching.

As the medic he knew it was destroying him, but he didn't care. He would find Leo or die trying.

Everyone kept searching, even asking Renet and the 1987 turtles to help in the search.

But no Leo to be found.

As the months dragged on, Van became the peacekeeper for the many more fights that kept happening between his younger brothers, trying to keep the family together.

But they were all terrified, and they were hurting...so they took that fear and that pain out on each other, saying things they didn't mean and screaming till it hurt.

Eventually, now seven months since Leo disappeared, Giovanni called a meeting.

They couldn't keep doing this anymore. They were all exhausted, they had NOTHING, and they were tearing each other apart.

"Leo wouldn't want us to destroy ourselves like this...all we can do now is try to move on and add his photo to the family shrine." Van's voice was so quiet, so emotionless and so drained. Tears rolled down his cheeks, god he didn't want to do this...

Raph looks pissed off, but that was expected. He was just reluctant to admit that Leo might be gone as Van was.

Donnie was trying not to cry, he knew this was coming at some point.

Surprisingly Mikey doesnt react at all. He just walks over.

And slaps Giovanni across the face, hard.

"How can you say that? How can you just give up on Leo? Our big brother? Your twin! How could you?" Mikey angrily sobs, sparking the second biggest fight since Leo disappeared.

Hours later they are all laying in a turtle pile, Leo's picture added to the shrine while his brothers sobbed and wailed like small children.

The small children that lost their father and now lost their big brother.

A headstone is erected next to Splinter's at the farmhouse. Though it feels hollow since there was no body, no ashes. Nothing.

Giovanni doesnt move from that spot in front of his twin's headstone, even when its pouring down rain.

Good. It hides the tears gushing from his eyes.

Was this his fault? Because he left the family? He came back several times after his travels! He did! And he couldn't stay, Leo knew that. After Splinter's death he felt suffocated, the feeling like he didn't belong in this family becoming so much more apparent.

So he traveled the world, he wasn't meant for the Hamato Lifestyle! He was happier on his travels!

But what if he stayed? If he stayed then maybe Leo would still be here. Was it not enough that they had to lose their father but their big brother too?

"Leo...please if somehow you are still alive give us, give me a sign!" Van whispers, choking on his own tears. "Please just give us something! We'll bring you home I promise! I wont leave again I swear...just give us something to work with." No response but who was Van kidding.

"But if you're...really...then I hope you and father are together. I'm so sorry Leo..." Eventually Raph joins Van at the headstone, holding his older brother while they both mourned their brother in blue.

However that changes when two months later, the four turtles are zapped into a different dimension. Van wakes up first, looking around at alternate versions of his family, when his eyes lock on an oh so familiar looking face that he can't believe it.

There is a fifth turtle among the counterparts, stockier with three toes instead of two, covered in so many scars and wearing an Indigo colored mask. But its him!

Its Leo!

Van scrambles to his feet, sprinting over to his twin before anyone can stop him, even shoving one of the alternate turtles to the floor in the process. He scoops Leo into a bone crushing hug, sobbing into his shoulder.

The others soon join in, the five turtles falling to the floor from the force. Even when Leo tries to squirm away at first, Van just squeezes him tighter. Eventually Van pulls away to actually get a good look at his twin, his heart jumping to his throat at the sight.

So many new scars, new cracks and chips on his plastron, a metal shell on his back.

The jagged, slash marks on his face. The anxiety and exhaustion clear in his eyes. The guilt...the fear... the shame, Van can see it all.

"Leo what happened to you?" Van asks timidly, almost afraid of the answer he would get.

His twin doesn't answer, in fact he looks away, trying to avoid everyone's gazes.

"You ok Indigo?" A red eared slider asks, Leo actually responding to the name.

Leo...or is it Indigo...gulps, trying to make himself look so small.

Eventually he explains everything, from being forced to fight in the Battle Nexus, his rescue, the defeat of the Shredder and how he got his memories back.

That was another thing, Leo forgot EVERYTHING. His family, his life, his name...

All because of Big Mama.

Later that night when the kids and Leo were asleep, Van gathered his three younger brothers.

All four were wearing black masks.

Big Mama put his brother, his twin through so much shit...oh hell no.

Giovanni is not going to let that slide.

None of them are.

What Big Mama did might as well be a declaration of war.

She is going down, and Giovanni is going to make her suffer.
