Occult Recipebook

Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and caldron bubble.

INTRO

Occult gameplay is up there with one of my favourite ways to play. Food is a part of our Sims lives, and should also be for occults so that they can cook up their preferred foods.

This Occult Recipebook is a collection of custom recipes (food and drink) for Occult Sims in the Sims 4.

I have started off this occult culinary journey with: ✨SPELLCASTERS✨

I have plans to later create foods for each occult life state, so I will keep adding to the recipe book.

“Spellcasters” as a life state can be played in so many different ways: they can range from gnarly evil witches who practice black magic and eat bird entrails, to happy little fairies who live in cottages surrounded by woods and flowers! I have tried to include a little bit of everything in the recipes I have created. These foods are a mix of fairy, fantasy, green garden witch, apothecary, or black-magic sorcerer etc.

They effect Spellcasters and/or human Sims in many weird and wonderful ways.

E.g. Nettle Tea which helps teenagers suffering with acne, Milk Thistle Biscuits which leave the consumer with prickly thistles in their tongue, and Eye of Newt Soup which most Sims will find disgusting but which Spellcasters will happily slurp up.

Eating one may leave the SC eater cursed. Good Sims will sense the evil inside and get sad Canning *Requires Cottage Living Canning Skill Gooseberry Jam Elderberry Jam Rosehip Jelly Drinks *Bar/alcoholic drinks require Mixology skill, and a Bar. All your Sims look so soft and alive and the hair you use is like 10/10 (including Morgyn's but I think I read correctly that you made that? Amazing. Stunning.) Howdy! No bother at all. I don't currently have a resource list since I use so many different things, but! I can give you a small list of the CC I used for Morgyn’s Genetics if nothing else ✨

On Morgyn I used:

Simandy's Intuition Eyes as my eye default, and this NS Recolour

Simandy's Torrada Body Blush, plus I have a personal recolour I use on my fantasy sims.

CMar's Pointed Ears slider [though you can't really see their ears]

Sunflower-Petal’s Elf Ears preset

TeanMoon's Mouth Scale Slider

Lemon's Male Neck Thickness Slider

GuntherMunch's Sorceress Overlay

Praline's Almond/Zeta Nails [I turned these into a skin detail and I use them on nearly every sim]

Their hair is from Realm of Magic! But the overlay for their hair I made.

Kiellessa’s Demon Teeth

Pyxiis’ Dionysus Eyeliner [also turned into a skin detail]

I also use a personal reshade when I take screenshots

For good hair I HIGHLY recommend anything by Simandy, my partner and I have all of her hair and that’s no exaggeration. Praline has wonderful accessories. For clothes I suggest Trillyke and ClumsyAlien! I use a bunch of different overlays so I don’t have any defaults there, but I do use SQUISH by Squea/SqueamishSims a lot as well! For fantasy CC Valhallan and Pyxiis are always my go-to’s.
