SIMS 4 - INCREDIBLE INFANTS FIRST RUG - REDONE WITH 10 WORKING VERSIONS - BASE GAME

I finally figured out my issue with getting the rugs to work. UGH It was actually me just being dumb lol. To make them, you need to click on DEBUG in S4S, and find the checkered rug that way. Simply overriding the Baby's First Blanket will not work. If you're looking to make some, remember to have only one swatch in each package!

This project is awaiting a new file approval, which shouldn't take long, and you can re-download!

These rugs are NOT found in the catalogue, but rather are visible when your sim puts their baby on the floor.

🚼 Remember to install only one override at any given time, either mine or anyone else's, or they will conflict.

Base game CC knitted blanket bed set.

Just finished some CC for base game TS4. This is a recolour. This green knitted bed with it's warm toned dark wood is the perfect addition to a cozy cottage core build.

Includes baby bassinet but does not include the pullout cot because the mesh kept deciding it didn't want to cooperate.

Those poses are CLUMSYALIEN's "Hello Baby", which can be found here on TS4 Poses. You'll need the body presets linked in that post to "shrink" the toddlers to turn them into "babies", and I don't know if those still work after the Werewolves update bonked all sliders with a two by four, but that should get you started. After pizza, they gather in the living room. The teens talk but Bebe and Joey slip away.

"Jackie charmed a dolphin today out on St. Taz," Dee tells Duane.

"I bet that happens a lot here," Veronica puts in quickly.

"Are they safe?" Dee asks him.

"Dolphins are smart. If they don't want to interact with you, they'll avoid you. They know where people go."

"He just wanted to say hi." Jackie smiles at the memory.

"Oh, brother," Veronica whispers.

Joey slips up next to Trix. "Can I show you something?"

"In a minute."

He stares at her until she gets up.

"I just think it's important that we take care of our planet," Jackie is saying as they leave.

"Wow!" Veronica bursts out. "Since when have you...."

"Always. Do you not listen to Mom?"

Joey leads Trix back to his room. Before he opens the door, he says, "Promise you won't tell."

Is he serious? She shrugs and nods. She's no snitch.

He pulls open the door and it's hard to see what's going on at first. It's like there's another wall in front of the door but then Bebe climbs out from under it – it's a blanket fort!

"Wow! You guys did this?"

"We found sheets in a cabinet," Joey explains.

"And very quietly moved chairs from the kitchen," Bebe says proudly.

"I love it!"

They settle in under the fort with pillows, books, and toys. Joey stretches out with his deep sea diver (that's what it's become this week).

"Why do you always hang out with the big kids, Trix?" Bebe asks. "Joey is much more interesting." She turns to her brother. "Joey, do you think you have vacation phobia?"

He considers this. "I think I'm getting better."

"I like hanging out with everybody," Trix defends herself, but if she were truthful, she does like hanging out with her older sisters more. It bugs her to be the younger twin and she's looking forward to being older.

"It seems you like hanging out with them better though." It's like Bebe read her mind. Maybe she did! Twins, after all, though Trix has never read Bebe's mind.

"Let's just play, okay?" Joey interrupts.

Later, nearly tuckered out, they end up in a pile looking up at the blanket ceiling.

"What if the sky looked like that all the time?" Bebe ponders.

"We should make a pact," Joey suggests.

"A pact that Trix sticks with us."

"That's not a pact, Bebe, that's just you bossing me around." She will always be the younger twin but.... "But I had fun."

...

Outside, Duane is heading home, if he can get around Veronica on the path.

"I'm so glad you came over tonight," she tells him. "Sorry about my family."

"Why? You're so lucky! The family I live with is good to me but I don't have anyone close to my age at home."

This is new information to Vee. "I guess. Can I see you again?"

He smiles. "Sure! I do have to work some festivals this week but maybe you could come and we could hang out afterwards?"

"I'd like that." The way he's looking at her now – could this be it?

"Okay," he says.

She smiles back, looking up at him with wide eyes. She flutters her lashes a couple times and closes her eyes as she leans forward. She waits to feel his lips on hers.

"Bye!"

When Chelsea and Noah get in, she notices something amiss in the kitchen. "Noah, where are the chairs?"

My Sick Munchkin…

Yesterday I was in ER with Layla cause she kept saying she felt hot and her tummy hurt but before she could even finish her sentence she threw up all over the floor. The doctor put her on antibiotics until her stomach virus goes away, so this morning she came in my room and climbed in bed with me (She has a little method on how to get in my high ass bed, little slickster) she was kinda upset she won’t be able to see @adoremissyro and Haley until she gets better. I noticed she still felt warm so I’m gonna cook her some soup and have her take her meds again….

And thanks again to the wifey @forthalola for coming to make sure Layla was okay 😘😊

[WASD] Soft Love Posepack

Another bunch of poses I made for my story and then converted for default rigs. They are made for the couch that came with Paranormal SP but as least some of the poses may work with other couches well enough (first 3 work with short ones too).

NEW RELEASE: PRECIOUS LIL BABY POSES

This cute little pose pack was created because I felt like the toddlers in my game were lacking personality. I wanted to slow down the 'toddler' stage and show my ts4 babies playing with their toes and staring into space like real babies do. I hope you guys enjoy this pose pack as I have taken the time to include a Boppy Pillow & a Baby Milestone blankets for the simmers out there who always wanted to track their lil tot's growth!

//Hullo hullo everyone, just flying in here with an update & I apologise for taking so long about it.

So its been a tough time for everyone with C-19. Ireland is going into another lock down. I hope yall are taking care & regardless of your opinion on the matter, I hope yall are being respectful & safe.

Life has been abit topsy-turvy for me. Im learning that grief is just a series of moments where, when you least expect it, you spontaneously combust with tears. Ive had good days but a lot of days where it do be just hanging on by your nails & wondering when the rabbithole ends. So basically I'm at a point where I really don't know how I'm going to feel the next hour, the next day... yanno. I've had moments where I feel ready to return here & do something small but that feeling always changes to the opposite; I'm being careful with discerning what is a manic whim & what is real. I think that's a very important skill for anyone in this position or with mental health issues to learn, so im learning something new this past while.

I have not been able to write anything or draw for months now. Its very frustrating & depressing in itself as I am a creative person & often feel smothered when unable to create. I just have no energy or ideas & am very resentful of myself for feeling things that disrupt my hobbies. But I know i need to feel & go through this so am not pressuring myself. I'm focusing on keeping myself clean & fed & practicing good sleep hygiene; once I can master these three fundamentals, I can focus on other things.

Its funny, I think, that life experiences can alter you so much that you forget how to be human in that you find yourself forgetting to eat & unable to perform daily self-care routines & unable to show love towards those you know you love dearly. To sum it up, I think its fair to say this is the lowest point of my life & its been both horrible & eye-opening. I feel like a burn victim, without skin, everything hurting & tiresome & feeling seperate from myself & my former life. In that same perverse way, that part of me is abit thankful for c-19 because it means I don't have people coming close to me & hugging me & generally being sympathetic: I find im loathing that behaviour now. I don't want to be the person whom suffered a great loss that everyone needs to comfort, I just want to be a person that people treat like normal.

I opened the door the other day to a Traveller woman trying to sell me bedsheets & she said "ah take that, it'd be a grand present for your ma" to which I said, "my ma's dead". It was easier to say than I thought it would be & it was actually a relief to say it & receive a fumbling apology, "I'm sorry, my ma's dead too." I appreciated that more than receiving a hug or a pat on the back. Not that a stranger would do such things, but yanno. We had a moment like saluting each other & I bought pillows off her, the end.

I hope I'm making sense. I hope no one takes offence to this. This is just my feelings, my journey. I've been calling myself a child of grief, making this journey to a port in a storm where i can start a new life on that port & begin anew once I've shed this old skin thats dried out from salty tears.

I've been playing TS4. I started the Asylum Challenge on medium difficulty. I have Joker there ofc with 6 others. I did have 8 Sims but Jared Leto died in the pool (he went for a swim instead of sleeping ffs). We've had 1 Asylum baby that was adopted away for obvious reasons. Currently Enoby Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way is trying to get with Rob Zombie's creepy twin, Bob Zombie. Joker is hitting it off with my Sim whose aesthetic is inspired by Emilie Autumn. I called her Kathryn Wheel cuz of the torture device/HIM song.

I got two rat kittens for Valentines Day (not sure if I've told you before). They're Fancy Rats but with blue colouring, which I've never seen before in breeds. I called them MizPah & BoBoBetty. The Precious got a new snake, a BEL he calls Helvita but i call her Boo.

I got my hands tattooed a wee while ago which wasn't as painful as my neck but painful enough that I'm relieved theyre done & healed up. I'll try remember to post pics whenever. My memorys been a bit scatty with meds. Im also working on losing weight again so I've been very tired & grumpy when I'm not huddling in a nest of blankets growling at The Precious when he enters my space. The only way he earns my trust each eve is to give me coffee & tell me im being very good. Is this a joke? YOU be the judge...

Anyway. Im alive & still working on myself. I thank yall for your patience & support, it means a lot to me knowing my friends on here are rooting for me. I'm toasting yall rn with my iced coffee (still trying to perfect the recipe but im getting there). I hope yall are doing well & are happy, safe, & healthy. Remember I love yall & wish you all the very best, even if I'm not present or feeling sociable. We'll all get through this, i promise you. Remember that you only really see light when things are very dark 💜

I know it’s not the 24th yet--and you appear to be in the UK, so I can’t even say it’s the 24th there, since you’re only 5 hours ahead of us in the US--but I saw a lot of people posting their gifts, and that kind of pushed me into overdrive, haha. And I’d like to thank you again for being gracious enough to allow for a public upload!!!

(At least you’re not getting it on Epiphany, which is what I was worried about. I couldn’t think of anything extra to leave in your shoe if it had taken that long!!! Please thank @murfeelee for helping me get this out before then, as she helped me find the Little Vendor birth set!)

You asked for a birthing suite for your Sim, and I have to admit I was super anxious building it. Our Simming styles and gameplay are very different, to say the least. But you gave me such excellent reference pictures that I wound up shamelessly copying the first one. It really caught my eye--and I hope I’m correct in assuming that it was the one you were just dead-set on having. It took me a little while to get everything exactly right, and I do apologize if things don’t look exactly right.

I chose this turquoise color for the accent walls and chair cushions because I am in a bit of a turquoise mood (New York winters do that to you), but you can of course change the colors!
