pretty + pink apartment.
been wanting to attempt building an apartment with the late night high rise shells from scratch and I love the colour pink, so here is a very pink apartment. pretty custom content heavy because I can't get enough of it, sorry to those who are not as fond!! furnished with a master bedroom and an office that could be turned into another bedroom if required. hope you like it!
I edited some of the windows/arches for this build to completely remove the light source, because exterior lighting coming in the windows drives me up the wall when building in this game :~) you can download those separately if you also want to use them, or just replace them with the actual windows if you don't care about the rooms going weirdly bright and blue. there's also an edit of the tiny circle light (possibly from outdoor living); I've given it a different light source because the original doesn't give off enough light and all the other lights are a bit ugly. that's also included separately with the windows/arches.

📣Please note that there are Hidden Room Markers placed on the second and third apartments thus once you place the lot in your game, the available room for purchase will be the first apartment. I have also set the second and third apartment doors to NPC so any homeless/service Sims will use those to 'go home'.
If you prefer the second or third apartments, please enable “testingcheatsenabled true”, “RestrictBuildBuyInBuildings Off” and “buydebug on” after to remove the Hidden Room Markers and place it to the other room you will not be using. Don't forget to remove the NPC Door tag by holding CTRL + SHIFT and click on the door to select the "Unmake NPC Door" option.
This lot has been play-tested however I noticed that Sims tend to prioritize using nearby objects. For example, if you're on the first floor and select the elevator to go up, the Sim will opt for the nearest option, which is the stairs versus if you select the third floor, Sims will then choose the elevator.

The Avedon House is officially available for those interested!
Apartments A and B are unfurnished LOFTS.
The Apartment C is a fully furnished DUPLEX.
The community zone includes a swimming pool, sauna, community locker room and a small outdoor area.
Remember, if you would like your sims to move into the fully furnished version as seen in pictures, be sure to turn on cheats and follow the instructions below

rafael's apartment is kind of a sleazy bachelor pad but i will say the view is to die for.
also i gave him a slight facelift in cas... he really isn't a bad looking townie...

I might scale back my alien newcrest idea and just make an apartment building or a neighborhood that's overrun with occults instead. I really wanna fill newcrest with more apartments I think. Im like. Obsessed with the for rent apartments and the possibilities they opened up

think i finally figured out why i don't like playing ts4 for more than 5 minutes: the worlds!!! they're a little too ugly & boring i don't like any of them!!

Los Santos - Progress Report 2022 - Part 2: The loneliest apartment in the world
Since I don’t want to get lost in stuff that isn’t visible at first sight, like furnishing buildings, this apartment is the very first and only fully complete building in the entirety of Los Santos.
I made this because creating a world involves constantly testing around in game. The “edit in game mode” doesn’t really provide a working live mode, so if you want to see progressing time, sims interacting with the world, simulation lag, and all of that you need to export the world, close caw, install the world, start the game, move in a sim to a lot, and finally test things.
This is where 12 Residue Apartments come in. They act as a refuge for my testing sim where he can get some rest from all the testing. Finally Test Sim doesn’t have to sleep on empty lots anymore.
While they look cheap, dirty and rusty on the outside, they look even cheaper on the inside! But jokes aside I really like the grungy dirty look.
If you have ever dreamed of having an avocado bathroom this might be the place for you!
Test Sim is especially glad that his bed is in a room and not on a completely empty plot of land anymore. Now he can finally get some action without breaking the law.
But beware. Don’t forget to close your curtains or else everybody is going to know what you’re doing in bed at 12 Residue Apartments:
Aside from being a refuge for Mr. Test Sim the lot offers a kind of inspiration and guideline as to how the buildings should generally look when they’re done. You can see this house as kind of like concept art for the art direction if you will.

why is ts4 so fucking unplayable im losing my mind
#txt#it takes my sims 10 queued 'friendly introduction' interactions & like 3 sim hours to introduce themselves to anybody#they make dinner inside their apartment and choose to eat it outside standing on the pavement instead of the dining table IN THEIR KITCHEN?#it wasnt that big of a deal to me in the past but now its soooo fucking annoying#the ai in ts4 is so fucking broken IM LOSING MY MIND#i truly just wanted to chill and play but im truly losing it#. eugh god#closing ts4 opening ts3 sorry. bye
