Took the tea party quad skates to a meetup at a skate park the other day.
Boy howdy THESE ARE NOT SAFE.
Weird coord to wear to a picnic meet but it's normal once I tell you that it matches one of my favorite parasols. I also just love the "I escaped from the circus just now" aesthetic. Didn't actually make this coord specifically for the cheap coord challenge but I'm entering it anyway.
Cheap coord challenge pt2
(pt 1 here)
OP: Atelier Boz, $35
Undershirt: Amazon noname, $7
Headdress: Bodyline, $8
Parasol: Spirit Halloween, $27
Bloomers: handmade from stash 9 years ago, probably like $1
Wrist cuffs, tights, earrings, and shoes (that weren't skates) from previous challenge ($93, mostly the shoes)
We are not counting the cursed skates as part of the coordinate because I'm not sure if those things should even exist.
Coord total: $171
Total challenge so far: $224, 2 coords
There's some pretty easy ways for this coord to be made less expensive but the main one would be to skip on the parasol since that thing cost as much as the dress. However, I will NOT skip on the parasol because it's amazing.
Bonus picture featuring the parasol because I love that umbrella so much. If you're wondering what's going on in this picture, the short version is that it's really easy for cups to fall over when you're sitting on grass, so I used the skates as cupholders. I brought a second parasol in case someone needed to borrow it, but no one did so I used both. We went thrifting after the meet and I bought another parasol. I could have picked any lolita accessory to collect. I could have bought rings or something, but no, I had to decide to get the hardest to store thing I've ever seen and then I decided to get as many as I could.
As always, concrit is fine in reblogs or replies or asks, as long as all concrit begins with take those damn skates off your feet before you die.
