I've been enjoying all of these lists. I'm realizing how lame I am (or how old I am). I don't watch too much TV, but my besties try to keep me up to speed with all these "hip" new shows like Yellowstone and House of the Dragon. 🤣

So, if you were to ask me for 9 shows that I enjoy and would rewatch in an instant, here you go! They're not really in any order, and some are easily replaceable, buuuuut here it is! And yes, I counted watching football as a show. 🤣

I've watched each of these from beginning to end multiple times, The Office and Parks & Rec are honorable mentions, but then we just start getting into 'best background shows while doing other things.' I also tried to stay away from shows that petered out toward the end (save for Buffy, I loved the first few seasons of it too much to not count it).

I'm currently on a binge-fest of The Rookie, thanks to @genevievemd.💕It's inspiring a lot of dramatic fic ideas. Ethan and Sawyer better buckle up.😁 (Bonus: They are playing DG Light Blue commercials in between episodes today.😍)

Grey's is not a favorite per se, but it's a trainwreck that I can't look away from.

And Bering Sea Gold is another trainwreck, but it's one that my S.O. and I have fun binging and providing commentary for each season.

Once I find a show I like, I turn it into an obsession, and so I have been extremely obsessed with each of these at one point. And then I have them on constantly in the background while I try to adult. And yes I have a very weak spot for jersey shore, it’s just the epitome of trashy tv that I live for 😅

I don't watch a whole lot of TV shows, but the ones I do, I won't stop talking about them.

Community -> I'm halfway through and it's pretty awesome! One of those shows where you can sort of relate to all the goof-ups and fuck-ups the characters engage in.

The Sandman -> Tumblr made me do it and I'm so grateful cuz like this show has that ethereal look to it, with a collection of the most brilliant stories ever written coupled with the best cinematography on the planet.

Ghosts -> I'm also halfway through this show and it is literally the found family trope.

Dark -> Mindfuck #1

1899 -> Mindfuck #2 produced by the guys who made Mindfuck #1 (Also #renew1899!)

Doctor Who -> A slightly lesser mindfuck but it has goofy characters who use words like "timey wimey" and it makes a lot more sense than physicksy fysiksy words.

The End of the F**king World -> I love the road trip with unhinged characters in it and this show served on all aspects. I'm a fan of I'm Not Okay With This and to think that the producer/director of this show made INOWT made me want to watch it even more.

Good Omens -> No explanation. A snazzy demon and an English professor of an Angel teaming up to be the worst people at their jobs? Sign me up. It's so wonderfully chaotic and I'm definitely not a raccoonic maniac slowly counting down the days till Season 2 comes out.

Brooklyn 99 -> the epitome of comfort shows. It's hella relatable and I constantly share the agonizing anxiety as Adrian Pimento.

So what I’m getting from Tim posting a 9-1-1!Vertigo movie poster and including Buck, not Marisol, in what is presumably Midge’s role, is that there didn’t necessarily need to be cheating for this arc to work. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

I love a good dramatic arc and Vertigo is a banger choice for Eddie’s Catholic guilt and Shannon grief arc, but as far as I know (yes, in my hour of Wikipedia and Twitter deep-diving), that movie doesn’t actually contain cheating, so I’m curious if there’s a reason for it other than drama or not making a carbon copy 9-1-1 version of Vertigo. Is it to make the audience start to dislike Eddie like the Vertigo audience is meant to slowly dislike Scottie, as he continues to make bad choices? Is it to encourage the GA to see Buddie with Buck as the pining Midge? Desperately want reassurance that Tim realizes by making Buck a part of this storyline (especially as Midge), there is no feasible way to dismiss that. Even if Buck’s feelings aren’t explicitly addressed, that poster and any potential on-screen pining aren’t going to be swept away. Season 7 paralleling season 4 regarding Buddie and it’s because The Will and the Vertigo Arc won’t be ignored by the fandom. We’re all gonna go a little crazy methinks, and I can’t wait.
