(I know most people would probably ask you this in bad faith but I'm just really distraught at the state of politics and keep hearing people say "don't say he's the only option and don't support him" but there's never alternatives given and I don't know what an effective alternative could even be)

I think a good place to start that a lot of people are comfortable with is probably volunteering and petitioning for 3rd parties to make sure they Do have ballot access next year. So that ppl Can vote for someone else next year.

And yes, vote 3rd party this election. Or don't vote at all.

Besides that? Learn some basic defense and join protests. Support encampments and do things leftists say like join a union and organize your own community whether it be your schoolmates, coworkers, or all your friends and their friends.

Censorship and propaganda are rampant right now, along with transphobia and racism and even Nazis are back. Tensions are high to say the least and everyone is worked up about the election and Israel.

Figure out what you wish someone else would do and then do it. Is that de-arresting protesters? Organizing a bail fund, fighting cops and throwing tear gas back at them when they make things violent?

There's a lot to fight against and even more to fight for. Find what's worth fighting for (to you) and actually start fighting for it. Don't let cops or your principal or boss or anyone else stop you.

I think one of the most important things we can do right now is remind the government and those that serve the government that they won't take our rights so easily. That if they want to silence us then we're gonna make sure it'll hurt more than it'll help. That we can and will fight back.

And that's why it's so vital that we show them we won't settle either. We won't vote for Biden.

We settled for Clinton and look where that got us.

Does it feel like voting for more and more conservative blue candidates actually helped prevent harm? Or does it feel like you were manipulated and lied to?

Gonna be real, it feels like the government is a manipulative abuser and we're all it's gaslit victims who don't want to believe things are that bad just cuz he killed someone else instead of us.

Which is like...it doesn't mean good things for us that our government could do that and we'd rationalize it, you know?

How we want to get out of this fucked up dynamic is up to us. We work, we pay taxes, we listen to the governments rule of law, and still our government won't codify rights, our trans friends are being abused by the government, or it's banning apps with censorship. And the whole time it's telling us to shut up and be grateful it isn't worse.

Abusers never ever tell you that it could be better too. And they don't want you to know that. Cuz then you leave. And if you leave then they can't manipulate and abuse you.

So yeah. They'll shit on us for doing Anything that doesn't result in us staying, for doing anything that results in us choosing our own well being instead of theirs.

But that's what we need to do.

And you need support before you do that. That's what organizing is. It's like calling the besties who hype you up to leave your shitty ex. Except it's a bunch of people agreeing to support each other when they choose to stand up for something. Organizing is making sure there are people watching back and making sure if one of you is harmed or arrested that there'll be someone there to help bail you out.

The more people you have to bail you out, the less you have to worry about being outnumbered, spoken over, or physically stopped with force.

So yeah. Do that.

Organize. I hope I stressed that enough. The people on our front lines need us to be there for them as much we need Them to keep fighting for us.

Also since I'm here: make sure you and your friends don't talk shit about protesters even when they get violent and break shit. It's not abuse when the victim finally hits back at their abuser, it's self defense.

anonymity online is always interesting to me. and i have never really said it but i do often enter certain spaces online completely anonymous/with no attachment to my existing name-- and yes, lurking is a common thing but lurking implies you interact very little or not at all, unlikely to have your name come up anyways (so you wouldnt need to have a new account entirely to do it).

but i mean like. i just go anonymous/under a random name on platforms im already on. maybe with the slight intent of making a "side blog" but also wanting purely detach from my main. but for no real reason? its not like i care if people connected them. but i find some weird sense of relief in just doing that. to be on an account where i am suddenly New and i have no relation to anything i posted before. a new fixation i know might go away feels nice to have in this kinda format too. jump into the space completely unknown, engage and have my fun, and if my fixation dies out then i just leave w/o much of a problem. no connections, no leads.

and it really doesnt lead to much more. often times i stop using that account, or i continue to use it while eventually mentioning my main blog. i dont make friends under the guise of being someone totally different- thats weird. not trying to "trick" people. but to throw some art out into the tags, make some posts, get some light interaction, and just not be me for a bit is just. something i do sometimes. maybe i wish i hadnt dumped so much in my teen years so i could have remained a bit more faceless, and that is kind of the only way to do it if i feel like i need it.

alright, so before a life of crime, the two of you were high school sweethearts. the talk of the school, everyone adored your relationship. voted most likely to stay together, the works. you worked like a support system; hobie having had to raise himself and needed more love than others, along with the hardships you may have faced during your upbringing. hobie originally had a really hard time letting himself be vulnerable around you, but he got used to it, letting you in to help him through what he needs to.

despite having great support, things were rough on him after high school. when he lost his job, the equipment he essentially invented for it made him turn to crime for a shot at protecting the innocent, especially you. you were essentially a victim to the terrible mistreatment of such a fascist country, being terribly poor while with hobie. with such a corrupt government, and tons of heros who defend it, it seemed to be up to him to fix it all. so, he took his inventing skills and became a villain, deeming himself 'the prowler'.

and he felt like he was protecting the people. stopping those bloody cops from hurting the innocent, or punishing officials who've done bad. he was a villain with a good cause, but not many saw it that way. they saw their beloved spider-man as the one who does the good, not some scary villain in a scary suit. essentially, the constant battle between the prowler and spider-man began.

hobie tried to keep his second life a secret from you, he really did. but the one day he was out, you managed to find his prowler suit and mask. along with that, all sorts of gadgets that seemed far too advanced for some regular civilian. upon confronting him about it, he admitted to everything. what he’s doing, who he is, and where he goes.

it’s.. tough at first. learning your high school sweetheart was a super villain isn’t the easiest piece of information to take hold of. but you stayed. you knew he was fighting for a good cause, so you kept him close to your heart. how could you not? hobie always wanted better for you, for the people, for himself. so you stuck your support, staying right by him through it all.

hobie can also find himself in a habit of stealing from large corporations. it’s his thing as the prowler. it would range from stealing food for the local shelter to stealing a nice knick-knack to gift to you. though you feel some guilt at first, it soon disappears upon remembering that these places won’t ever miss what hobie steals. they’ll just find something to replace it.

some things hobie does not do as the prowler (that normal villains tend to); hurt the innocent, steal from small businesses, cause commotion during charity events or rallies of protest, have an innocent be his “person on the inside”, kill like, anyone.

the most he would do to hurt anyone (which is government officials and fascist politicians), is beat ‘em up and give them a good talking to. he reminds them of who’s truly running this country, who’s actually the one feeding them their money, and that normal shuts them up. hobie hates the way they plead with him to not kill them, it honestly makes him laugh. he has the same reply every-time.

“you beg t’ not be offed, but kill ‘ur citizens everyday. think ‘bout it.”

even as the prowler, hobie always makes time for the things he loves. you, for one. he’s always taking you for a night in the city or to hang with his friends. dinner dates at home are a must for the week, he’ll never miss it. he eventually does propose to you, which consists of him just asking out of the blue in bed if you wanna get married. he gives you one of his rings and says, “boom, married. g’night, love.” yeah, you never got official documents. but who cares?

hobie’s other commitment lies with his band. never misses a show to play. he’s sticking with them, even as the prowler. he loves the high he gets from performing onstage for the people he fights for, listening to their enjoyment. he loves laughing with his band as they keep a high energy show going almost all night. and the best part? he sees you after his shows, warm smile on your face as you congratulate him (either verbally or with making out. your choice). he would never trade those nights for fighting as the prowler.

overall, hobie as the prowler is not like every other villain. he’s committed to doing good in the wrong way. and even when spider-man convinces him to find a different way to get his message, he never gives up. he retires his prowler costume in exchange for one that advocates loudly, leading protests and riots at the front lines. he had to admit, it was a lot more refreshing than being painted as an evil villain. plus, it help that you find this option much safer :). he’s content with life as the prowler, even after he retires the persona.

We Need To Talk About Shipping

I just want to put this out there since this website seems to be full of delusional shippers who are pushing fictional narratives or chains of events that literally never happened irl. Now personally, I don't mind casual shipping (big gasp, I know). Like if you think two people are cute together or have great chemistry, that's fine; ppl tend to reflect their own desires onto other people/things, whether they be fictional or real ... create your stories, write your fics, draw some nice pictures ...  the problem lies when you can no longer decipher your own fictional stories of your favorite ship from reality. If you have gotten to the point where you feel the need to argue over what ship is REAL in a space where these types of relationships haven't even been confirmed or acknowledged ... kindly exit the fandom and only come back after taking classes in human decency. If BTS hasn't confirmed a relationship, then we as fans must accept that as our reality. Of course, many of us have our speculations, but we should never overstep and promote those realms of possibility as true. You are allowed to think something might be real, but don't turn that idea of realness into false delusions about fabricated events. If you are in the ask box of a stranger accusing a BTS member of cheating on another BTS member with another BTS member... please take the time to reevaluate your life choices. The next morning, Shinichiro was waiting for her in front of the school. After a few moments later, he saw Y/n walking to school he walked up to her but just walked next to her without saying anything.

Y/n was minding her business, and then it was disturbed by the tall, dark stupid styled haired man walking right next to her, shoulder to shoulder.

Some minutes of walking, the atmosphere was silent and awkward. More than usual, it was odd for Y/n.

After a few minutes of this awkwardness, Y/n had enough of it.

"What the hell do you want now..?" She glared up at his deep black eyes before looking straight ahead.

"......" He didn't respond and just kept glancing at her. "Did something happen? I mean... to your parents or is something going on at home...?" He muttered under his breath. Y/n stops right in her tracks and quickly shot up at him with an annoyed look. "What do you mean?" She asked right after.

"Uhm... you know.. like you never go to school trips before and now your like-" Y/n cuts him off and stares right into his soul."So now I can't go to school trips anymore, huh?" She said angrily. Shinichiro backed up and put his hands inside his pocket, shrugging his shoulder "Well your not the type to go on trips... It's not like you could've anyway because of your parents."

Y/n hissed, "Dont bring up my parents into this shit, dont even mention them." She stricked up, making Shinichiro finch at her sudden tone.

"You dont have the right to say something about my parents after what you told the whole school back then!" Y/n poked at his chest. Shinichiro stumbled back a bit, before hs could say something back, she stomped off, leaving him behind speechless.

During class.

"Hey, Y/n bla..bla...bla....." H/n and Y/n were yapping with each other like every day. Ever since the argument they had that day, he didn't bother her till the school trip.

"Is everyone here? Did anyone didnt come or not? Go check if everyone is here." The teacher told the class president. "Okay!" She left off to take attendance of the students.

Shinichiro was standing their next to his friends. He looked around, trying to find if Y/n actually came or just lied to his face.

Suddenly, he got interpretated by 'pss pss look look' a smug grin on one of the guys while he opened his jacket up and revealed beers inside his pocket, announcing it with proud look. "OH- shit!" One gasped amazed before headlocking him "Thats the way to go, Takeo-" Shinichiro hushed em down as he saw y/n running toward the bus."i guess she was just late..." He muttered in his mouth with a slight smile. "Ew man, wtf is that look on your damn face.. you look even more uglier."

"Oh shut up! Look who's talking." Shinichiro rolled his eyes.

"Have you seen me?!" The short one said annoyed but with a slight grin.

The big tall one. "Put your damn bags down and get your asses moving. The bus is leaving."

Inside the bus.

The 4 bitches where fighting for the spot in the back of bus, Shinichiro was the last to go but the tall lanky one and the short one was holding up the line.

"Im sitting first you damn chain smocker!" one hissed out as they held each other by their shirt collar. "Im the first one, move it short beat!"

Then the tall bulky one stood right beside them "Move it! There are ppl trying to sit too yk?!" He shouted at them, while that was going on Shinichiro was dumb founded behind the tall bulky one "Huh? Whats going on!" Shinichiro tried to see what was the ruckus about.

After all this fuss they finally all sat in the back of the bus all cramped up together. (Because of Benkie duh)

Finally the other students could take their seats before the bus leaves.

'Psshhh...chachcko..!' The sound of a beer bottle can be heard inside the bus.

"Take that shit down before we all get suspended because of you...again." The big one warned the lanky one next to him who was opening the beer he brought.

"Its just one! Dont be such a cunt." The lanky one rolled his eyes before takes one sip. "Hey...! Didnt you see the teacher looking at us, give it!" Big guy reached to grab the bottle of beer from the lanky one.

"Nooo! I just opened it." When the lanky one leaned back his beer accidently spilled on shorty. "Oh-....." Both of em frozed right there ".....U-uhm um.. you alright?" Shinichiro said trying not to laugh at his face.

The short one stood up and wipes his face off with his hand before launching at the lanky one. "Whats with you today huh?! Weren't you satisfied enough are ya?.. well let me help you out!"

Suddenly chaos fell down on the bus.

The bulky one tried to pull away the short one from choking out the lanky guy while Shinichiro sat next to them trying to reason them to calm down.

"HEY! YOU PUNKS STOP ALL THAT RUCKUS DOWN OR I WILL TURN THIS BUS AROUND!" the teacher shouted at them.

"EVERYONE SPLIT UP AND SIT." She warned. Teacher tells them their new seats "and Shinichiro go switch with H/n during this ride."

"But miss!-..." He sighed, annoyed before switching with H/n and sitting down next to Y/n.

Shinichiro groaned and flopped down on the seat next to Y/n before turning to her "Sup" he nodded.

i'm gonna make this post since i have like ten asks wondering my thoughts on it. and i don't really feel like repeating myself over and over again.

long story short, i'm disappointed.

so… snc did a video with elton and corey. they addressed the rumors that have been circulating about elton and the things he has done to snc, none of which were true. and i'm glad that that can finally come to a close and the death threats can calm down. bc while i never liked elton, he didn't deserve death threats.

but let me get into the video.

i don't feel like rewatching it, so if i get some things wrong, idc. but what i know for certain is that elton flat out said "the fans drove us apart and made me act the way i did." which, is just a flat out lie. HE started way back in late 2020/21. i have proof. i've seen it with my own eyes. i was literally there while he was tweeting out things against snc. if he is that easily persuaded, he should reconsider his career choices. fans took it too far, i'm not disagreeing with that; but to pretend that him and corey didn't shade snc for years and that the fans started a beef between them is ridiculous and incredibly incorrect. elton started a battle that he didn't think was gonna continue for as long as it did. he believed his ego and thought fans would side with him in his unjust belief that snc were copying him. and it didn't play out in his favor, so he just got more bitter and bitter over the years about it. once ppl started making up lies about him, something he had no issue doing to snc, that's when things went "too far".

again, did he deserve death threats for being petty? absolutely not. did he deserve lies to be made up about him? no. but do not pretend to be an innocent bystander in a war YOU started. you handled things publicly and then got pissed when the public had opinions. idk what you expected. snc didn't do anything to elton. they didn't copy him, they didn't take content that was his and change it around to be their own. that is something elton CLAIMED to have been the case. and now he tries to blame it on fans and that they were the ones that claimed that. his apology is null and void when he turns around and says "yeah i said some things i shouldn't have but it's actually the fans' doing that made me think that way." you are full grown adult man with multiple businesses. act like it.

and i cannot fathom under any circumstance why snc would ALLOW elton and corey back into their lives. they bad-mouthed you two for YEARS. they did it in front of fans on tour! they cultivated a fandom that was happy to see you guys fail or get called out. i get you feel bad that fans took things too far. that maybe you were petty too in some instances, that you could have reached out sooner. but YOU DIDN'T START THIS. they don't deserve loyalty or to be in your lives again bc fans were assholes! and you shouldn't want someone in your life that will believe a stranger over you. bc what is there to say that elton won't turn around and shit on you again? he obviously has issues talking shit out. what about the next time he thinks you slighted him? you think he's gonna be rational and act like an adult and talk to you? probably fucking not.

snc bitch time and time again about feeling used, that they always feel taken advantaged of. they keep their inner circle small bc they can't trust anyone. colby literally talked about not being able to date outside of the industry bc what if the girl he's with wants something from him. they do all of this complaining, only to bring elton and corey back in. two ppl who will only BENEFIT from being their friend again. they have been losing subs and followers for years now ever since they started this war. they have nothing to lose being your friend again. they will USE YOU.

it became very apparent to me that snc only want elton and corey back in their lives for memories' sake. they had a three hour conversation only to go back and talk about the good ol times. there's a reason why those moments are in the past. elton literally still sees you guys as the young 20 year olds he has to "take care of". he literally said he loveD you guys, past tense - bc now he hasn't hung out with yall in so long. and you want that back in your life bc you miss feeling young and have uncle elton around? let go of 2017. that was a life time ago. there is no reason to have this man back in your life. and same goes for corey. neither one of them even wished you well publicly when you were diagnosis with cancer or going thru chemo, colby! what about that screams good friend material??

i know i am one person with one opinion. you don't have to listen to me, and that goes for everyone reading this. if you're happy they're back together, that's great. good for you. but i will not be supporting any content that comes from elton/corey and snc. if they do a video together, go on a trip - i will not watch it. i don't care to see two men who i care about hang out with two other guys that literally wished them the worst for three years straight.

snc are allowed to make whatever choice they want. if they want these guys back in their lives, that's the choice they make. if they accept elton's apology, that's fine. but i will not support it. it is such a disappointing feeling to see the ppl you care about act like floormats personified. you guys are so desperate to be seen as good and positive and it is mind-numbingly annoying. who cares if you're an asshole sometimes?! set boundaries for christ's sake. and follow thru on them. stop listening to fans who have the attention span of a spoon and are only here bc they think you're hot.

…this goes into a longer issue i've had with snc for a while now. and that's that i'm no longer excited to be an avid watcher of them. everything that has happened this year was proof, to me, that they should have taken an actual, long term break, the moment colby got sick. they started out the year not even being with each other on colby's bday. and even before that you could tell something was off with the two of them. it was clear colby wanted a break, was aching for one, and sam was the one that wanted to jump right back into work the moment the new year started. then colby got diagnosed, then sam and kat broke up, then colby went thru chemo, then sam needed to get his shit sorted out so he went to therapy (and still very much needs it). then they celebrated colby being cancer free and jumped back into the amount of work they were used to doing. this doesn't even take into account that colby never got time to recover from even realizing HE HAD CANCER, or the fact he was working all while going thru chemo and before that too. they NEVER took a break. taking a week off to black out in japan doesn't count. they are so obsessed with working and numbers, it's not even funny.

Hi there! I came across your post dissecting Omocat's Motivational Speech. I decided to read it with a friend of mine and holy crap-HOW did ANYONE read that and NOT see this person as a horrible jerkhole?! Seriously, we saw WAY more red flags in this writing BESIDES the ones you pointed out?! I usually don't say anything, but I couldn't keep quiet with what was put here:

"the stress will be there. you can overcome it but it will not go away"

Why are they making stress as something that can never leave after encountering something that causes it??? It CAN go away! One simply just TAKE A BREAK FROM IT, or STOP DOING WHAT'S STRESSING THEM OUT! There's no reason to make stress out as this force that permanently looms over a person after introduction. If that's the case, more human beings would be dying from that (it's one of the aiding factors to a lot of serious health problems and a lethal one on its own)!

"The next thing is to know you are not alone on this. We have a team of, I don't now, 10 ppl here everyday working. I can vouch that you are all, for the most part, nice people."

For the MOST part??? So Omocat doesn't truly believe that the people slaving away in making their game, and are considered as FRIENDS by them, are nice people??? Coporate companies LOVE to use this kind of talk to keep employees in line by playing on their sympathy to help their fellow man, and the fear of being singled out and hated by everyone in the workforce.

That's what these lines are actually saying. In what way is this suppose to be motivating? In what way is this NOT evoking an ominous sense of danger from this person?

Goodness, out of the many speeches I had read online out of controversies, THIS one was the most blatant in the person's true colors. The fact that none of the fans see this is beyond disturbing, it just shows the growing trend of victim blaming that is putting actual victims in danger. Yet, allow horrible people to take advantage of the narrative as long as they play things right.

Rachel's proud, probably records school fights but nobody can trace it back to her and she's like a ghost, nobody sees her.

You just started swinging, no thought just pissed and protective. Rachel would totally fight someone for you, but seeing you just go swinging at someone, makes her panic and then proud and then she realizes how hot you are. Laughing after the fact and even a bit in the moment, watching you beat someone up.

Gloats about it with you later after you totally take the win. Compliments you too. It's definitely a memory you both laugh at every once in a while, but Rachel knows if something happened like that again, you'll be right front and center to it all.

Then she sees you, practically slamming someone's face into the cement. Probably cries, mostly out of panic and shock. Cries after, cause my poor baby was worried about you and what was gonna happen, especially if you were okay.

Just overwhelmed, because of everything that had happening to her and then that happening. She's just so worried and upset. But you were right there to comfort her, even after beating someone's ass.

Sorry I got so late in responding to this, anon. The past few months have been packed IRL.

I'm kinda not surprised that the MC rejecting Liam's proposal was the opening they went for... though I'm very tickled by the prospect of TRR2 being a romantic starting point for Olivia x MC considering all Olivia did was mope about for Liam and disappear for 3/4ths of the tour 🤣🤣🤣

This isn't much compared to a lot of other shit they've already done to him tbh. I'd say PB did far far worse to Liam already - Kara and Jen just recently had written a "backstory" kinda TRR-story for the now-defunct Storyloom, claiming to explore "Liam's perspective" of the bachelor party in TRR1 Ch 1. In this they made several retcons, few of which I'm listing down:

1. Acc to this retcon, NY was a detour from a larger diplomatic tour, rather than something the group and Liam had actually planned to have his bachelor party at.

On the surface this seems like a good change, but it also excuses Liam's friends not arranging for things Liam actually liked for his own bachelor party (remember - he'd told the group about his love for the Statue of Liberty, and they never bothered to even see if something could be done about that. They took him to a dingy bar), leaving a complete stranger like the MC to make that effort instead.

2. Remember how Liam approached us to apologise for the way his friends behaved? According to this version of TRR, Drake persuaded him to do that. Apparently in the story, Liam wants to go up and talk to her and ppl like Tariq and Maxwell give some nonsense suggestions before Drake says this:

First of all, they make him sound like he was socially inept in the dialogue options before this. Secondly, I think Liam can make his own decisions without Drake making them for him, but the writers' boners for Drake wouldn't allow them to admit that.

He confirms that the apology was Drake's idea later in this story, saying this:

This change doesn't make much sense unless you realize that the writers had Drake claim Liam was leading the MC on back in TRR3. This is maybe the second time the TRR team tried to retcon the events of the book to make Drake's lies the truth (the first time, they tried to rewrite the first four chapters of the book so that Liam was way more flirty).

I'm sorry but when Liam approached the MC with respect and apologized for his friends' behaviour, that was his choice and those were his actions. No retcon from a set of biased and greedy writers is going to change that.

Compared to that this Olivia thing is...okay? Like, you really can't explore the possibility of romancing her without having the MC turn down Liam' proposal first. That's just the structure of the story. It's whatever.

I’m still not sure if we’re not all delusional and overestimating the writers of the show or not. I mean, maybe everything is as it seems right now? But, i’m so paranoid by now i don’t trust anyone lol

🍎Phee. He was Non’s boyfriend, they seemed very sweet together. He was concerned about Non spending time with the gang, and prevented a suicide attempt. He also seemed pretty suspicious of Non spending time with Keng – and i wondered why he’d jump to the Non cheating on him immediately. It seemed a little weird in the moment? He even cried. idk.

He was the one to bring their relationship to the next level, he wanted Non to change schools, and even got his father involved to help Non. This could be just teenage impulsiveness – or show how serious he was. When the video was leaked he was deeply hurt; both bc Non lied to him when he directly asked if there was anything between Non and Keng, and bc he considered that cheating (it’s not, but bear with me). And in that moment, he reacted very, very badly. What he said to Non ist awful, but especially considering he knows about Non’s mental health issues. Also, there was again this underlying message of Non having cheated (or lied?) before. That made me wonder again. When Non vanished, Phee never got the chance to clear things up. To either make up or break up. He was left hanging, with the gang and the police claiming Non most likely left with Keng.

So, what did Phee know? He knew that the gang treated Non badly, but i’m pretty sure he had no idea about the extent – the camera, the details of the money laundering, the mafia. So, when New (I’ll stay with that name) showed up, he found an ally. Someone who also cared for Non (and who also felt guilty, but i don’t think they shared that), and wanted to find out what happened. I’m still not sure if for Phee it was more about finding closure for himself or make the gang answer for what they did. Either way, i don’t think he had murder on his mind lol

He could seriously have caught feelings for Jin. I don’t see the chemistry, tbh, but that could be copper’s acting. I also don’t see the common interests ppl talk about, but whatever. He was definitely torn between his feelings for Jin and the Plan™. And after seeing that news report about Non and Keng he pushed Jin away (and Jin is still hearbroken enough about that after 3 years to chomp on Phee’s dick lol). But I seriously struggle with Phee considering the gang his friends (like he called them in ep 10). Yes, he spent time with them and yes, they never treated him badly. But he knows they’re bullies. He knows something happened. It just feels ooc for him to just ignore that?

So where does that leave me? Idk i can see both. Phee wants to move on, and joined New in this last scheme to leave that part of his life behind. One last try and then he’s done. Find out what he can. So, when the guys start dying, and everything’s out of control, he confesses to Jin (we still can’t be sure if everything he says is true or just conjecture on his part tho). Giving Jin the water was just a brain fart, and he really found the axe by accident. And they hold hands on the way to the house, and he lets the axe thoughtlessly fall to the ground. It would be … unsatisfactory for me, but possible.

OR (🤡): He’s in on everything. He may really like Jin or not, but he never abandoned the Plan™. What he tells Jin about Por’s and Dang’s deaths, again, may be true or not, but he confesses to Jin just to get a confession in return. He knew the water would be drugged, he knew where the axe was, and left it fall conveniently in front of the house for someone else to pick up later etc. Convoluted, but possible 😊 (i still think the markings on the trees were off)

🧪Now. New. He’s pretty straightforward, i think. He wants the gang to go down. He wants to know the truth of course, but he wants to punish them. Depending on Phee’s „loyalty“, Phee is either on his (s)hit list or his ally, both is still in the cards. He may have found another ally altogether, either one from the gang, OR the 9th person. It’s possible that the killing is his doing, just like Phee told Jin – he hates the gang, and it’s not like he has anything left to lose. On the other hand, we never saw him do any of it, we just have Phee’s story. And i don’t trust anything i don’t get to see with my own two eyes anymore lol

🎞Jin. Well. He has morals, but in the end they don’t mean shit. He’s nice to Non and tries to, idk, make the gang be less assholey to Non, but is ineffective. I personally think he’s just nice bc he likes Non, not because of altruism. (But i’m biased) And when it became obvious that Non not only wasn’t interested in him but also imperfect (being raped aka „cheating), he couldn’t cope. He took the video, he leaked it, he let Thee take a drugged Non away, and he lied about Non running away with Keng. And, like, three minutes after Non’s disappearance he fell deeply in love with Phee(‘s abs).   I found interesting that he „outed“ Tan as New, but not Phee as Non’s boyfriend. And that he claimed he’d trusted Thee. Sure you did.

💉Fluke. He’s a wild one. The most revealing thing he said until now was that he didn’t want to be like Non. He kept quiet bc he knew he could/would have been the next victim of the gang. Interestingly, he knows the most about the bullying, i think. He was there when Top broke the camera and Thee set up Non. He was there when Jin filmed Non and Keng. He’s a little like Jin, in that he knows what’s happening is wrong, but doesn’t intervene.

Maybe the drugs hit him harder bc he’s already high strung and stressed? Idk, i find him weird. I’m not sure if the most logical reaction to a masked killer hunting you and your friends is to … grab a gun and threaten everyone around you? But again, it might be the drugs causing this.

I don’t really see him as a secret ally to New. What would be his motive? Or more like, what would override his very strong instinct of self preservation? He has a lot to lose, and basically nothing to gain.

💰Thee. Ugh. His life sucks, and he’s a victim of his circumstances. I think, in a way, that’s what fuels his distaste for Non. He sees how similar they are, in a way – and like Fluke, he needs to distance himself from Non. When Non told Thee to get out of the mafia situation he’s in, i was worried. I think Thee reacts badly to percieved pity from the wrong kind of person. He did the most damage to Non, realistically. He supported the idea to let Non write the script (as soon as he heard there might be money in it), he set Non up to be the fall guy for the camera/the debt and pulled him into the whole mafia bs. And he drugged him and delivered him to his uncle.

I also think he’s (maybe like Fluke) the most realistic of all oft hem. He knows what he’s doing, he had to grow up quickly, he has no (or not many) illusions about the world he lives in. He knows his actions doom Non. I no longer think he’s doing it gleefully, but he doesn’t hesitate that much, he has too much to lose.

From his (re)actions in ep 10 i don’t really think he’s a secret ally to New or Phee (or Non), but i do see how he could be. I think he really cares about White, and wants to be better. He knows the gang too well to like them. And from the preview … he knows more than he told in ep 10. Maybe he tried to save Non, maybe he failed? Maybe it’s a tit-for-tat – i help bring down Uncle Joe, you help me bring down the gang?

Not that i believe that’s what happened, but let me clown, ‘kay?

👶White. Well, we know next to nothing about White’s backstory, so he has potential lol. Most importantly he’s an outsider to the original gang, like New, and like Phee. He could really be just a lil dude, on a terrible, terrible weekend trip with the boyfie. He’s cute, and scared, and submissive.

But he also somehow ends up in the focus again and again. The radio, the knife, the hard drive, … He’s so good at influencing Thee, it’s impressive! And … idk, maybe he doesn’t like guns, and doesn’t want his boyfriend to shoot anyone, and that’s both pretty normal lol. On the other hand „forget the gun!“ seemed odd to me. In that situation i most definitely wouldn’t want to forget the gun, i would want to have it, even just to make sure no one else had it. When he gets the gun, he (again!) puts it somewhere it could be easily taken (to what end, i have no idea, maybe just to cause chaos??), and later convinces to let Top be, bc he’s tied up now 😊 and won’t be able to get free 😊 after which Top gets free 😊 and is shot (😊). He also confuses me because he seems to go from tiny scared cinnamon roll to rational strong cinnamon roll.

So, if New has another ally, he seems the most likely candidate? For now? As of ep 10? But idk.

In the end, they’re probably all just confused idiots in a cabin in the woods, and Non somehow is out there, taking them out one by one. and that's okay, too.

Mute Nico (and selectively mute Jason)

He’s always gotten into periods of silence. His family called them ‘hushes’ (his grandfather used to get them. Really it’s selective mutism as a result of autism and ptsd)

Growing up it just. Wasn’t a Big Thing. He learned LIS and ASL so he could communicate w/ Hades when he had a Hush

Teachers didn’t like him anyways so it didn’t change much when he was at school

Anyway flash forward to modern day

After Bianca died, he fell into a Hush for a few months. Minos berated him for it cause he was an abusive shit

He started talking again when he managed to get away from Minos for a few days (Hades and him and Persephone took a trip to reintroduce Nico to all his siblings)

They made him feel welcomed and warm and he slowly started talking a bit again

By the time BotL rolls around, he’s completely out of his Hush

And then Minos Leaves and he finds out that Hades also gets Hushes and he is like… ‘woah’

Cue more family bonding :D

This continues, blah blah blah great NOW BETWEEN THE SERIES

Hazels super great about it, and he starts teaching her ASL to talk to him when he’s Hushed

And Reyna learns about this from Hazel pretty quickly cause they bond FAST

As praetor, she knows a ton of ppl who go selectively mute (from ptsd, autism, ppl who are fully mute from trauma and also just being born mute) and she’s like ‘… have u met my friend, Jason?’

This is how Nico learns that Jason is also selectively mute cause *trauma* and *autism* being raised by wolves makes u communicate more nonverbally than verbally

Nico and Jason bond over that and Reyna is like ‘I love my strange boys. Cooky boys. Funny little Kreatures’ cause they’re both little gremlins who try to pretend they aren’t

And Jason brings him to a dinner one day w/ a bunch of mute, deaf and hard of hearing legionnaires and vets in new rome

Nico starts healing from Minos w/ his newfound support group

Then Jason disappears and Percy disappears and the Doors of Death disappear and Thanatos disappears and Nico does a freestyle dive into Tartarus

Not going into detail rn but from being tortured to the jar to all the screaming, his vocal chords are wrecked and Speaking, A Normal Struggle, becomes impossible

So he’s rescued and joins the Argo Crew, and can. Not. Talk.

Hazel and Jason interpret for him (but Jace doesn’t remember Neeks cause Fuck Juno)

Hedge helps Nico too (he did a double major in sports medicine and psychology specializing in childhood trauma, he’s a smart little demon goat)

Anyways coach officially diagnoses Nico with psychogenic mutism/ trauma induced mutism

Jason and Nico bond more before Split cause of sign and mutism

After Split, Jason goes mute. He can’t talk again for a few weeks. Piper and Leo don’t say, but they kinda blame Nico. Hazel glowers at them

Post war, he and Will sign w/ each other about Nicos health (deaf Will rights)

They become really good friends then

He signs w/ Mr. D in LIS (god of wine and mental health DEFINITELY knows Italian sign, u crazy?)

And Jace and Neeks end up getting closer and closer and closer and closer

Obviously this ends with them dating and being cute little mute boys together ☺️☺️
