How do I put this nicely... Bean is unfocused, uncoordinated, and even a little violent
He would never purposely put you in danger, but he has put you in some dangerous situations
He tries to keep you out of it, but you always manage to come
When he becomes King, he'll order you to stay behind and if you try and disobey he'll have the guards detain you
"You may hate me now Y/n, but I don't want you getting hurt"
He's super protective over you and his mother uses that to her advantage
"That... Girl. What's her name?"
"Leave Y/n out of this."
Dagmar will smile before tilting her head at her son, "Well, then I guess you'll do what I say, won't you?"
Bean's greatest fear is losing you and it being his fault
Anyone can tell he's in love with you, but he himself can't confront these feelings, so he lets them out in other ways
He laughs at all of your jokes, even if they're not funny
He just stares at you sometimes, like his face just changes and he'll smile to himself and his pupils will dilate and his face will peach up
Luci will call him out on it, but Bean always denies
"No, she's my closest friend. We're nothing like that"
Nobody believes that shit, not even Elfo
He expresses his feelings to the only person he thinks can understand, Mora
Mora tries telling Bean that it sounds like he's in love
Bean denies it and gets frustrated
He can't be inlove with you
He already has so many people he has to protect, like his people, all he needs is to be inlove with you and worried about you
Although, he does think about you, constantly
He'll always put your life before his own, much to your annoyance
"You're the future king of Bean, we have to make sure you get out of here alive"
^ He gets so mad, because all he's trying to do is protect you, yet you make it so hard for him

Summary: Sometimes, being a queen means getting shot in the left tit.
Excerpt:
I need a knife, she realizes. I'll die if I don't get the bullet out.
"Move," she slurs, headbutting Elfo next. "Need a... I need a..."
"Yeah, you need a nap," Luci counters, dangling a pot over her head. Is he pulling a backstab again? "Save the violence for after the organs stop rupturing, alright?"
He upends it over her open face. It's not hot, but damn does it sting her eyes. She tastes Mary's sleepytime tea and chokes. They could've at least stirred in some damn whiskey. Damp hair flips inelegantly around her face as her struggling softens.
"I gotta..." she wheezes.
"Relax, Beanie, I gotchu." Thick, meaty hands hold hers tight as the tea takes effect. Zøg's chin is wobbling, but only a little. "Just go to sleep. I'll be there when you wake up."
Bean, woozy from blood loss, manages to say, "Don't tell me what to do, you're not my dad," to her Actual Literal Dad before passing out.
Me, binging all of Disenchantment in three days: I am very normal about this show
Me a week later, six-thousand words in hand: Yup. Totally normal.
