honestly, i just couldn't get these out of my mind so here i am trying to jotted it down. how i imagine the #polin children look like:

agatha eloise bridgerton: she has bridgerton chestnut hair with a hint of red undertone and also penelope's eyes (either canonly brown or nicola's light blue, i'm fine). that's why colin is very hard to say no to her (and honestly she's a daddy's girl as well). she's a bit tan because she likes being outside and active. summer is her favourite season. has freckles here and there but also tall like her father. she's also in possession of the bridgerton competitive streaks. the only coffee drinker amongst the children and she takes it black. lives up to her namesake; she's clever (almost cunning), bold and fierce, but also a bit bossy. if she lives in modern era, she would make a wicked attorney because she's so great at debating, defending, and persuasion.

thomas edmund bridgerton: a (physically) clone of colin with penelope's shy personality. he's a bit reserved, awkward, but so kind. a man with big heart, big brain, and honestly big appetite too (he's colin's spawn, what would you expect lol). he's a giver but sharing foods will be another case, your honour. decent at sports but a mean fencer and swimmer just like his old man. has a soft spots for animals and sweets. spring is his favourite season. he also gets obsessed with plants like his uncle philip, but just because he's curious which ones are edible, healer, nor poisonous. he keeps a detailed journal about them and also his secret recipes (he likes to experiment, foods or plants). if he lives in modern era, i think he would found his purpose in pharmacology.

jane felicity bridgerton: a clone of penelope (physically) except for her eyes. they resembles colin's (either canonly emerald or newts' blue, i don't mind). she's got a curious mind in nature (honestly all polin's children have that) and likes to observe her surroundings. the type who enjoys the shows from the sideline but when she says something, it'll be the right things to add (like some wisdom/neutral logic answer/missing details/the most clever banter). she's tiny but eventually grows to 163 cm (meanwhile agatha would make up to 168-172 cm) in height. lives up to her namesake (jane austen obv) as she follows her parents' path to writing world. fall is her favourite season. if she lives in modern era, she would be that famous novelist who writes any genre (but well known because of her mystery-romance) with detailed description of beautiful-cities-around-the-world-as-the-background novel.

george archibald bridgerton: say hello to the merry rake bridgerton. the third generation of bridgerton devil-may-care charmer after edmund bridgerton i and his father ofc. he's a redhead with hazel (a mix of pen's chocolate and colin's emerald) eyes. he's very free-spirited, creative, and active (at the level that he couldn't stay still for a millisecond). the mastermind behind all mischievous tricks and troubles when all bridgertons/featheringtons clan gather. he's good at everything but that also kinda makes him feel lost. nothing sparks his heart strongly or interested him to dive deeper. doesn't have favourite season 'cause he's fine with anything. if he lives in modern era, he definitely would be the most famous polin's kid with big numbers of followers/subscribers in his social media accounts, thanks to his natural charms and fun but also randomly creative yet original contents.

Polin Week Day 4: Polin as Parents

I'm back on my Sims 4 nonsense, so here are some screenshots of Polin as parents in my Bridgerton Save:

Penelope and Colin were originally created by Leanne62640 on The Gallery. I just styled them with cc for my Modern AU.

Aggie loves cooking with her dad. Thomas loves making a mess.

Pen is just a little bit obsessed with dressing Georgie up like a teddy bear. And Colin is currently teaching Aggie how to ride a bike!

If there's a bigger gossip than Pen in the family, it's definitely Thomas. When Colin comes home from a trip, he reenacts his experiences with all of the kids (Jane loves it the most).

On most nights, Pen and Colin fall asleep on the couch after finally getting Georgie to sleep.

Colin and Penelope’s Children

Mr. and Mrs. Colin Bridgerton had four children: Agatha, Thomas, Jane, and George. Eldest daughter Agatha takes after her father, she’s sociable and likes being at the center of everything. She found her match in a marquess’s third son, who was also a scholar. It’s one of the less scandalous matches for the next generation of Bridgertons. Eldest son Thomas, on the other hand, takes after his mother and is the only child to have red hair. He prefers to stick to the background, although he’s often dragged into things by his cousin, George St. Clair. Thomas found his match in a dowager viscountess’s companion, who has a complicated history. Youngest daughter Jane also takes after her mother, generally fading into the background and preferring to hang back by herself. However, she does tend to get pulled into things by her cousins, Isabella St. Clair and Katharine Bridgerton. Jane found her match in a Welshman who was taken in by a dowager duchess, adding her to the list of scandalous matches. Youngest child, George (who is more often known as Georgie, in an effort to distinguish between himself and George St. Clair) is his father’s double in many ways. His own love story even mirrors his parents in some ways, as Georgie doesn’t realize that he’s in love with a close friend until he’s helping her find a competent and acceptable suitor.

Agatha Violet Bridgerton

Born in 1825, Agatha takes after her father more so than her mother. She is very sociable, just like him. She’s always making new friends, including one particularly irascible cat, much to her family’s displeasure. The cat only liked Agatha and always made his anger known when other members of the family were around.

Agatha’s godfather is Anthony and her godmother is Eloise.

Agatha was very much a daddy’s girl as a young child. She (along with Thomas, Jane, & Georgie) had Colin wrapped around her finger.

Agatha’s favorite uncle, when she was a toddler, was Gareth. Hyacinth adored that. Her favorite aunt was her mother’s younger sister, Felicity.

Agatha is quite close to her cousin, Penelope “Penny” Crane. They are very close and are sometimes described as Penloise 2.0 by their family. It’s rather true, although Agatha is more popular than her mother and aunt were.

Agatha falls in love with the third son of the late marquess of Grantham and scholar, Stephen Ridlington. His speciality is languages and he’s polylingual. The circumstances that surround his first attempt to court her are complicated at best and leave Agatha unimpressed and miffed.

Agatha married Stephen in 1847, when she was twenty-two and he was twenty-six.

Agatha and Stephen have two children, a daughter named Felicity Agatha Ridlington and a son named Grantham Stephen Colin “Grant” Ridlington. Felicity is three years older than Grant.

Thomas Colin Bridgerton

Born in 1826, Thomas inherited Penelope’s wallflower awkwardness. He’s never been comfortable being the center of attention and he is content to play second fiddle to his cousin and best friend, George St. Clair. However, he does also have Colin’s appetite.

Thomas’s godfather is Benedict and his godmother is Daphne.

Thomas is the only one of Colin and Penelope’s children to have red hair. His siblings all have the Bridgerton chestnut.

Thomas is very close with his cousin, George St. Clair. Sure, it’s a little strange that Thomas’s little brother is also George, but oh well. Thomas and George have always gotten along quite well, even though they are a bit of an odd couple. Thomas is soft-spoken where George is loud and out-spoken.

Thomas falls in love with Eleanor Dane, the legitimate daughter of a gambler and the illegitimate daughter of a viscount. It’s all very complicated and scandalous, even before taking into account how an incident seven years prior to their meeting ruined Eleanor’s reputation. But Thomas cannot bring himself to care.

Thomas married Eleanor in 1853, when he was twenty-seven and she was twenty-five.

Thomas and Eleanor have two children, a son named Percival Thomas “Percy” Bridgerton and a daughter named Sadie Penelope Bridgerton. Percy is four years older than Sadie.

Jane Eloise Bridgerton

Born in 1828, Jane is an introverted wallflower, much like her mother. However, Jane has no interest in passing on the gossip she hears. She enjoys learning things about other people that they wouldn’t say, but she’s never had the urge to share it with people.

Jane’s godfather is Gregory and her godmother is Francesca.

Jane loves to read. She’ll read almost anything that she can get her hands on, whether that’s a Jane Austen novel, The Mad Baron or an agriculture techniques book. She doesn’t care as long as she can get lost somewhere.

Jane is very close with her cousins, Katharine Bridgerton and Isabella St. Clair. Jane is the most sensible of the three. At least, she usually has Katharine on her side.

Jane falls in love with Morgan Howell, a Welsh orphan who a dowager duchess sort of adopted. He is often called the duchess’s pet project, and it’s the gossip surrounding him that puts Morgan on Jane’s radar. She learns quite quickly that he is nothing like the gossip made him out to be, though. He’s so much better.

Jane married Morgan in 1851, when she was twenty-three and he was twenty-seven.

Jane and Morgan have three children who are all two years apart. Their eldest child is a daughter named Winifred Jane “Winnie” Howell. Their second child is a son named Emmett Morgan Howell. Their youngest is a daughter named Maisie Anne Howell.

George Edmund “Georgie” Bridgerton

Born in 1831, Georgie takes after Colin more so than Penelope. He’s charming and jovial and just has a very big heart. He also has his father’s appetite. He also takes after Colin in appearance.

Georgie’s godfather is Michael and his godmother is Hyacinth.

Georgie’s middle name was going to be Anthony, but Hyacinth and Gareth used George Anthony for their son. Therefore, Colin and Penelope went with Edmund after Colin’s father.

Georgie was a late talker. He had a lot of trouble producing the “r” sound. His speech wasn’t helped by the fact that his older siblings would often speak for him. However, he eventually mastered it and would only struggle with “r” when he was tired.

Georgie falls in love with his childhood friend, Olivia Sharpe, who is the daughter of a baron. Georgie doesn’t realize he has feelings for Olivia until she starts being courted by other gentlemen. Her family thinks she could do better than the second son of a third son.

Georgie married Olivia in 1860, when he was twenty-nine and she was twenty-six.

Georgie and Olivia have three daughters, Louisa Penelope Bridgerton, Audrey Olivia Bridgerton, and Ella Violet Bridgerton. Louisa is two years older than Audrey and five years older than Ella.

Thomas Archibald Bridgerton

Nicknames: Tom, Tommy, Big T

Profession: dentist

Hobbies: snooker, poker, darts, Whiskey Connoisseur, guitar

Thomas is his father in looks but he got his Uncle Benedict’s height, only Ben 2 and William are taller than him out of the Bridgerton Grandchildren.

He has bright green eyes and freckles all over his face which he got from his mothers family.

As a child he got into a fight with Georgiana after he tried to steal her Ewok teddy when they were 10 and she punched him so hard in the face she punched out two of his teeth, it was here that his obsession with teeth came and as he got older it was only natural that he went into dentistry.

As he got older he was close to John and Freddie and they all naturally started to drink Kilmartin whiskey and Tom became a connoisseur and learned all the tastings they would go to.

He learned to play guitar when in secondary school and finds it quite soothing.

He was never really very sporty but he fell in love with Snooker and Pool after a trip to the pub. Darts followed and he goes to the Ally Pally every year for both World Championships.

He got into Poker at Uni and after a very careful word from his mother, after his grandfather's issues, he was very careful and studied the game and learned to be very good.

He and a friend went to Vegas one Christmas to watch the Mosconi Cup and he won $10,000 dollars on a game of Poker, and after celebrating he woke up married to his friend…

It’s how he ended up coming out to his family… by coming home with a husband.

I don’t know if you have any fancasts for Penelope and Colin’s sons for the Bridgerton next generation lot but Will Poulter reminds me a lot of Luke Newton, especially after seeing him in Why Didn’t They Ask Evan?

You know what, for some reason I don't actually have any fancasts set for Polin's kids in the next generation (though it might be because I have yet to put too much thought into their future love stories and everything), but one I did consider for Thomas was I think Harrison Osterfield? I saw a gifset from some sort of period piece show and thought he could pass for a Polin son but I wasn't dead set on it (also I'm not even 100% certain it was Harrison Osterfield but that's who I think it was lol). I haven't seen the show Will Poulter's in but after a quick google I can see where you're coming from, there is a resemblance to Luke Newton in certain photos. I think I'll take him into consideration for Thomas because appearance wise the only thing I've narrowed down for the Polin boys is that Thomas is brunette like his father whilst George is blond.

I'm bored so let me tell you about my version of the polin kids!

I do think all of them inherited their mama's smarts and their daddy's appetite. A dangerous combination when they try to negotiate for more biscuits. Penelope isn't sure how they managed to keep in budget while feeding the bottomless pits that is her husband and children.

Agatha: She's a decent mixture of her parents. She comes to about an average height of 5'4-5'5. Her hair more of an auburn brown and her eyes a hazel color. Like her namesake Agatha is a fierce little lady and she likes causing chaos. Out of the four of them she would be the one commanding a room.

Thomas: He's the one to look the most like Colin with his chestnut brown hair and green eyes, coming to the same height as his dad when he becomes an adult. Thomas is a performer, using his charm to put on a show. If Agatha decides to cause mischief, he's right behind her ready to cause a distraction or try to charm their parents for a lesser punishment.

Jane: She's mommy's girl. This is the one I picture to look and act the most like Penelope but she also has some of Colin's height on her side, putting her taller than her mother but still the shortest of her siblings. She's the only child to also have completely red hair. Jane is the sneakiest of her siblings, being able to blend into a crowd and be ignored if she chooses to do so. Very observant and has just enough of her daddy's charm that she can manipulate almost any situation to her advantage if she chooses to do so. Her siblings jokingly call her the heir to Whistledown. Colin prays this isn't true.

George: While his hair did start out as blonde as a baby/toddler it did darken to more of a copper color as he got older. He is on the quiet side. George would rather watch from the side lines with Jane and observe than jump into the chaos like his oldest two siblings. He's on the scholarly side and eventually wants to travel during his university years to learn more on what area he chooses to study.
