That's all? Just two seasons? 18 episodes? That's all the time I'm gonna have with this show and this characters I truly love? I understand we don't do 7 seasons of 25 ep anymore but there's a middle ground... Especially when there's potential!!!

Just finished dndads s2 finale and feeling very normal about all the characters

I would like to go on record to say that even though I don't agree with Izzy's death or the manner of it, I will not be reblogging posts about it that refer to it as bury your gays on principle. I am sick of the misuse of that term. It is not fucking bury your gays if he was one gay of an entire cast of gays who are still alive and kicking and being gay together. There's other more pressing reasons to be mad about that death; you could comment, perhaps, on how he was the most physically disabled of the crew, or the gay with no textual (current) romantic attachments and therefore 'expendable', or the most suicidal apart from Ed and how it leaves a bad taste in the mouth to see him succumbing peacefully to death (hello spn finale war flashbacks). There is no need to further dilute a once-useful term.

I am begging Apple TV that when they renew Schmigadoon! for a third season to let them expand to 8 episodes

I hate that the atla remake toned down Sokkas sexism for the sake of not being offensive bc honestly I think it’s MORE offensive that it’s not included bc they are basically saying that it’s not important enough to teach those lessons and it’s negative to prevent toxic masculinity 🫶 As a girl I loved seeing the sexism in atla, I loved the lesson that it taught and I loved that all the girls were capable and strong but some of them were STILL FEMININE (cough cough Katara. The new show ruined that too)

While I’m talking about Katara, they ruined her too, not just Sokka. Where’s her rage? Her hurt? Her anger? Let her be angry. She’s 14 fighting in a war, she’s supposed to be mad. I loved her anger it was real and gave her flaws and depth. And also she’s supposed to be motherly. What’s bad about that? There’s nothing sexist about that? Some girls DO want to be that way? Also, it’s supposed to show how she was forced to take the role of her mother as a CHILD bc of the fire nation. It shows the negative effects of war and the loss of innocence, it was so important why is that gone???

I'm only 2 episodes shy of finishing Season 3 but I REALLY need to get this out my chest before I continue...

The Forgotten Lake is by far my favourite episode of the season—I'm really positive that this may be (or already is) THE BEST episode of the season (and heck there's still an hour long finale for me to get to but EVEN THEN)

A LOT to unpack in that episode but a Johanna-centric story is categorically one of the best thing to happen to this series and I didn't think they could make us love Johanna more than we already did but my god she is just PERFECT HHHHHH <333 Nothing could've prepared me for getting to see all the sides we've seen of her in this ep from best mum as she always was, to talented artist to survival-horror protagonist I'm losing my mind over how much I adore this woman 🥺

I need the nexo knights fandom to put their heads together and make the best, most incredible deserved ending for the show.

I am so sorry but what we got as an ending fucking SUCKED. It was quite literally horrendously unfinished. and I know, I know that the show got cancelled, but I just don’t understand why they didn’t finish it with a better ending . (s4 was probably the WORST fucking season btw, It’s just.. rushed?)

I myself could probably note some stuff or something, (this is me casually admitting to making nk fanfics in my notes app lmao) but my god the creativity of this fandom could just, do so much deserved justice.

The show, the crew, even djenks put so much effort into (especially this season) making you like Izzy and want to see his character arc and how he'll grow and-

For no reason other than to speed run Ed's character development

Like why did the show and David Jenkins put so much work into making me care if they were just going to kill him off in such a cheap way

It's like a stab in the back from a show that has put so much effort into avoiding the pitfalls of how media usually treats it's queer characters

I do have a lot of questions lol. Like I feel Doing That was a bad choice but even if that was the plan all along and it’s just sticking to the original guns (which I can respect. don’t think it really fits the way the narrative grew but I respect following what you planned to do the whole way) it still felt very rushed. It was about six minutes altogether, and it kinda feels like maybe they didn’t think they were getting a third season so they just. Tried Everything At Once in case this was really it and now it’s left the show in a bit of a weird place.

I binged ‘the ones who live’ this weekend and I can’t stop thinking about how fine Rick was looking ughhh that man had me giggling and kicking my feet it’s SICK

verdict: super rushed episode with no breathing room + they skipped sigma's dramatic entrance. however i can forgive any and all sins simply on account of sigma <3

You know what? If they would have taken half of the plotlines in S3 and moved them to be worked on in S4 I think S3 would have been better and we could have had S4 be a full season

no but what was that finale… i miss longer shows so much… give us 22 episodes per season again!!! give us more time for character growth and relationship development and bring back fun filler episodes!!!! because what was this finale 😭
