My beloved anon im sorry it took me this long. But i am lazy. No other reason really. So i am now chronicling this dhit on my phone. And oh fuck dude is it a trip

SO. this fuckery began with quackity announcing the QSMP. He did so on the 17th of march and whatever the fuck. He mentioned it earlier than this (edit: just checked but the First announcements was the 10th)

And this is all great. New server that fucks. But what truly started all this. Was dream's tweet on his private twitter.

Im gonna try to be kinda impartial qnd jus. Explain it all as is but first i gotta say who says this shit lmao. So quackity announces his new project and is very passionate about it, he tweets more on his alt(?) About how much it means to him to bring his two languages spanish and english together. And dream on private is like 'wow cool! Guys dont get mad at me when i announce the same thing later tho haha' its just so weird.

But anyways. The usmp wasnt even A Thing. Only written instance of dream makin a multilingual server was in a tweet defending himself from copying quackity. (Altho he allegedly mentions in streams or whatever wanting yo do things w other ppl from other languages? But that shit dont count n im not diggin audio n videos out fuck that).

The actual, official announcement of dream makin a usmp was april 2nd (idk why this says the 3rd but whatever) wherein he announces the 'first multilingual smp' with a list of languages that will be on it such as portugese, spanish, english, russian, etc. And that it has live translation.

The same day, quackity releases a tweet labelling the qsmp as the 'first multilingual smp' and that he is introducing a live translation system to it. Mr beast connects that the usmp and qsmp are similar to which dream responds. Quackity doesnt respond, nor does he acknowledge the usmp at all.

Dream's response is essentially theyre different in that qsmp is spanish and english, he announced his live translator first, they had 'similar good ideas'.

So. This sparked a lot of drama and discussion. Because of the 'first multilingual' bit in that people began discrediting qsmp as it was 'only' english and spanish, and therefore was bilingual and not multilingual. Altho others countered thid by saying quackity himself called it a multilingual server in his streams. Not to mention the idea that the translator was copied but regardless both those things are kinda stupid arguments and just drama inspired by the comparisons.

More notably is that dream team were making fun of the 'first multilingual server' bit after this. Dream was liking some jokes at it as well

Dream also liked some. Vaguely sexual/romantic 'they should just kiss already' art of him and quackity?

Also after this dream started somewhat addressing/replying to quackity more. Quackity didnt respond to any of it.

Dream also tweeted this on his private the day after

Most narrowed in on the 'this wouldnt have happened without quackity' and was often interpretted as dream saying quackity HELPED him w it in some way or that there was more collab behind the scenes but we will find that to be false. Because. On april 27th. Dream dropped his magnum opus. Which i will include in one screenshot.

Anyways i seriously encourage reading the full thing here because its. Something. Theres so much. It is literally 1.7k words. A lot of it is repetitive but i will. Try. To summarize it.

Essentially dream is writing that he has been trying to contact quackity for some time now with no response. He has been messaging him about how theyve ended up with similar servers (therefore noting that neither one know of the other). This gets nothing. Dream tries contacting quackity more publically with jokes. Nothing. He starts going through secondary sources by talkin to ppl to message quackity for him (i think some people who dream knows that are on the qsmp. Unsure who) but quackity doesnt say shit. Dream is being absolutely ghosted.

Im also noting this last paragraph in his first tweet where he describes being 'taken back' when quackity announces the qsmp live translator after his usmp announcement, because he 'knew it would cause more drama'.

He says he messages quackity so they can plan how to deal with the 'vitriol' between the teo 'communities' and that the drama can be solved with 'communication'. He is ghosted. He also mentions that he puts the usmp 'on hold' in the 2nd tweet so it all can be dealt with and he can 'extend love and support to quackity'. Most notably he says that its alluded that quackity wouldnt let ppl who were on the usmp couldnt be on the qsmp which dream tries to say makes sense for quackity to do.

Theres apparently a fucking image limit on the tumblr app which ive hit so i am now not using images and speedrunning this shit. But im quoting this one thing exactly as its most important:

"That being said, I’ve seen the communities split against each other and have tons of hate build around this and around the speculations of peoples motives and friendships and so on, and it’s really really harmful to the community as a whole. I have seen more threats, doxing, fights, slander, and hate between a bunch of fan bases that I’ve seen in a very long time. I personally have experienced an elevated level of in real life threats & stalkers & even had the police involved in somebody showing up at my house, & even putting trackers on my family vehicles, surrounding this drama, for the first time since pre-face reveal. That’s really why I feel like I have to say something about it despite me wanting to avoid any kind of serious talk about all of this, especially even talking about communication publicly feels wrong but necessary in this instance. I never like to air out anything that feels or is private, but I feel like in this case it’s really important for my fan base to be aware of my intentions, motives, thought process, and how we got to where we are. His last tweet begins with him saying he 'doesnt want anymore drama' and ends eith him saying he loves quackity and believes this is all just a miscommunication.

Now, obviously, shit blew up. Hes been ratiod a few times by people meming it. Ive seen many people on quackity's 'side' saying that the usmp doesnt even exist yet, dream is the one causing drama, etc. And people on dream's 'side' saying quackity is being horrible and needs address this because its caused dream to be in danger. Most importantly. Quackity didnt address it at all.

But then quackity announced he was going live in an hour. And a lot assumed hed say something. But he didnt. His stream was roughly 15 minutes long and it was entirely quackity announcing that he was introducing brazilian/portugese speaking streamers onto the qsmp.

Anyways. Theres a lot of details but my hand hurts now. A big thing is whether qsmp or usmp was 'first'. Imo theres a lot more pointing towards quackity having had this is store for a longass time, as he had been hinting and a project of his for months and more notably the qsmp is so organized and put together i doubt he couldve had it finished up 'after' dream as dream's nonexistent server was an idea he got after that squidcraft thing in early March i think?

More recently (i think today) i saw that quackity apparently took two emojis off his twitch that were dream roblox characters and i saw people freaking out in r/dwt2 about how quackity could be so petty? But ya. My condolences if youve read all this.

Related to Q/T (not very Dream sympathic even though I'm a big fan) : I doubt it's for clout, Tommy has always been pretty consistent about doing what he likes.

I think it's just simply what happened for all the streamers (Q, Slime, Phil, Tommy...) and that's why the skit is like that, bc it's what happened for them. Because I really don't see Tommy just switching on his friends, especially not for clout.

BUT, and that's what is so terrible about this situation, they just don't get how much hatred is throwned at dream fans and Dream himself ? Like, for them it was a "Q didn't say anything bc he doesn't have to say anything. Dream copied, he deal with the accusations it's his own bed." So Q not saying anything is OKaying the USMP and Dream is a drama queen for airing public messages and overreacting. In that vision, Dream is the one breaking the friendship, creating drama for nothing, and overreacting. Not continuing the USMP is Dream's decision (and that's something so many people are saying against it !).

But that's completely disregard the amount of hate and vitriol the USMP got because they can't know, you don't know how hard someone can be harrassed. The space with at least 1k of people doxxing Dream ? The ss where there was a coordinate effort to attack him ? I remember externs mocking us for speaking about "sending assassins" before realizing that oh, actually it happened.

So I do get Tommy's video : Dream should have stayed silent about everything and just went "the USMP will not happen yet, wait for it". But I dislike how that take completely disregard that he was pressed by very real hatred both online and IRL, and that's something that people love to ignore about Dream and his stans.

So yeah. Dream made his bed, but I'd like for once to have those guys have the same pressure put on them and see how they react.

PS : absolutely hate to see people discard that T made his own reputation and that he should be thankful for Dream's friendship. I can't bother to watch him anymore, but he is talented and has always been pretty straight about himself. It's also more than getting on the QSMP.

None of this is true tho... like no one thinks Dream aired private messages there were no private messages. they made fun of the long twit longer because they can't genuinely comprehend someone stalking and committing crimes bad enough for the FBI to get involved. They genuinely think Dream is lying out of his ass unaware this isn't even the first time it's happened to Dream. You know who's more than aware? Tommy more than any other random CC on the internet knows exactly what happened to Dream because Dream talked Tommy through the same debacle. Tommy just had an entire livestream tour around England telling everyone how Dream protected him and prepared him because of Dream's experience with criminals trying to ruin his life. This round of doxxing happened because they wanted Dream scared enough to not do the USMP which it worked he didn't they won. But it's still not enough. These freaks spend all their time tweeting about Dream because he's all they care about. QSMP is just their new camp from which to throw grenades at Drean.

Tommy's reputation is as a Dream SMP streamer it's all he ever wanted his reputation to be. Tommy's youtube channel is based off the DSMP. Tommy literally said with his own mouth you can thank Dream for everything about his channel because Dream told him how to do everything from thumbnails to video descriptions. I remember during Minecon Tommy going I had a brilliant idea and by that I mean Dream had an idea and I went oh yeah that's good. Tommy has never ever in the past shied away from giving Dream and anyone else who inspired him their flowers. The simple truth is he probably thought he could get away with the joke and being a teenage boy comes with an inherent cruelty to it 🤷‍♀️

the way you’re handling this is sad. Quackity is not only ignoring Dream but some of the people on his own SMP who also reached out with concerns. Dream has been nothing but mature, concerned and empathic throughout this entire situation and your response is to call him pathetic?

Quackity ignoring a friend that he’d been very close with before is concerning in itself and I personally find his silence to be very worrying. It isn’t right to just. go after dream for no reason when compared to Quackity i’d say he’s handled this drama with a good amount of maturity and concern for someone he considers a friend.

And bringing up dsmp lore in comparison to this rubs me the wrong way. Dream admits that he’s been being stalked, harassed and threatened because of *minecraft server drama* and your response is to compare it to c!dream knowing.. c!tommy didn’t want to be his friend?

i’m just overall a little bit appalled how you can possibly respond to the situation like this when it is Quackity who has been the one handling this poorly by putting off an issue and allowing his fanbase to harass and attack other creators.

“Dream has been mature” he’s been constantly going on about how omg quackity hates me when he didn’t have any communication with quackity about it. that’s not mature. that’s the fucking opposite of mature. that’s petty high school mean girl shit.

cutting off someone who got nudes of fans at the Very least and potentially groomed minors is Normal Actually. why would you wanna say a tearful goodbye to a sex pest. Plus, the thread indicates that other people struggled with getting into contact with quackity meaning he was probably fucking busy and had a life and not focusing on Twitter drama!!! how tf is he meant to know about drama and shit if he's spending most of his time working on his server.

quackity has done Literally Nothing, yet you blame him and see him as the aggressor. everything quackity does he gets judged a million times harder than any white creator. when quackity doesn’t engage with a situation at all, that he has no reason to because hes clearly uninterested and has busy work of his own, he’s at fault for the harassment his community sends, but when dream quote retweets someone and makes fun of them for petty shit it’s all uwu he can’t control his fans! when dream buys a trump flag it’s swept under the rug, when quackity downloads a popular mod that has racist mobs in it (which is bad and I’m not trying to downplay it but it’s nowhere near as intentional as buying a literal trump flag) hes irredeemable even when he removes it. and it’s so obvious that you’re doing this because he's a person of colour. maybe not consciously, but you’re condemning him for doing shit dream has done that you defend. do I think quackity is perfect? no, of course not. but it’s weird to condemn a poc for things you let his white peers slide on.

and there’s like 0 indication that the threats involved anything to do with the usmp. dream himself doesn’t even provide any evidence or proof they’re related. a lot of people really hate dream. from racist kiwi farmers who hate that he’s openly nd to people who don’t like misogynistic creeps. we have no indication which one of those groups tried to harm or stalk dream and his family, and assuming it was Quackity's fanbase with zero shown evidence or even ancedotes is fucking weird. it’s weird to put that into a statement about how your friend fell out with you- it’s implying they’re somehow related when they’re not. even if they were, there was literally no way quackity could have known and it’s wild to bring it up in a post about him ghosting you. it’s guilt trippy and weird. no one should trivialise or accept what happened to dream, but you shouldn’t try and tie it into private friend drama if you’re not gonna provide any proof of it being relevant.

Idk just think it’s weird that Q hasn’t spoken out 🤷🏾‍♀️. People getting doxxed and mess (from what I’ve seen/ heard mainly Q’s “fandom” (sorry don’t know the right word to use)) for simply just for being excited for the USMP. Like he can’t just tweet “I don’t condone this” or whatever?

Even about the messaging thing. Haven’t MULTIPLE people tried and contact him with no response (besides Karl)? It is weird that a lot of people tried reaching out and not one response back just saying “I’m ok, just don’t wanna talk” or something.

But me personally (who hasn’t had the time to really look into this) I didn’t see it as “drama” I saw it as “hey this is what has been going on, and I’ve seen what has happened to the people in both communities”

Ok so I'm taking this at face value so if I'm interpreting anything you've said wrongly do feel free to correct me. And I'm sorry if my response seems all over the place I just wanted to reply as soon as possible.

I think in general it is unfair to expect quackity to reply. Is it the most emotionally mature thing to do? No absolutely not. And I'm sure he's aware of it as well. Do I think the whole situation is ridiculous? Yeah. Do I think it was the best move on Q's part? Probably not. Do I get why he did that? Also yes.

Anyway, I think that in a situation like this, where dream has said some pretty passive aggressive things about quackity, both on Twitter and on stream even when they were supposedly still friends, looked down on the things quackity has achieved, like with the streamer awards etc, Q actually does not owe dream a response. Replying to the other people who reached out would mean having to actually acknowledge what is going on and it would end with having to talk with dream as now others will have become deeply involved in this mess. And I genuinely do not think that dream is the kind of person that would actually listen to Q if they actually did sit down and talk but that's another conversation.

Dream also is known for ghosting people (like the way ccs on the dsmp couldn't do lore streams bc dream never replied to them etc) so the way he's reacting to this is just hypocritical to me and the way he has handled it is also very childish. He's basically forcing quackity to reply to him through peer pressure and by relying on his fans bothering Q about it it enough that he'll give up on keeping distance. Which also is not an emotionally mature reaction imo.

You're right the whole situation is a mess, I have even seen some people who claimed to be doxxed being proven false, and while I do feel very bad in case there are people that did actually get doxxed and hope they'll be able to move on from it soon, saying that the majority of the doxxers are Quackity stans is untrue as far as I know. Bc I've also seen lots of dream stans spreading misinfo, claiming everyone is suddenly from lktwt, claiming every person critisizing dream is racist.

Arguments about the usmp/qsmp are mainly rooted in the fact that some people get really vile about it and yes I'll admit some people who dislike dream do go a bit far. But at this point the majority of mcyt twt dislikes dream so it isn't just quackity stans.

I have seen people being straight up racist towards quackity bc of it. And perhaps you could argue I'm biased as someone who deeply dislikes dream but I think there's a lot more hostility coming from the usmp side of the argument.

Either way doxxing obviously isn't ok and I don't condone it and I hope everyone that got doxxers is safe and ok.

However I'd also like to add that the only reason this whole usmp Vs qsmp debate has been going on is bc dream couldn't stop mentioning quackity and the qsmp all the time so I'd say dream also has blame in this and I feel he should tweet something denouncing his stans harassing others instead of putting all the blame on someone else since he's so keen on putting pressure on Q.

Also would like to add that no matter what quackity does at this point, things will not change for the better as the situation has been escalated by dream like a lot.

oh anon what rock have you been living under (and can you take me there)

this got kind of long bc a lot has happened and it's been kind of slowly building up over a month, and i kind of used this as an excuse to do something i've been wanting to do and make a rough timeline of events, so hope you don't mind the incredibly long post. it has certainly been An April (/neg) around here.

march 10th- quackity announces the big project he’s been teasing, the qsmp, a minecraft server with both spanish and english creators. dream puts out a priv tweet the same day saying he’s been working on something similar to collaborate with worldwide creators and he’s mentioning it bc he doesn’t want people to be worried about copying once it’s announced (this is foreshadowing)

april 2nd- dream announces the united smp and its accompanying live translation mod with a video and a tweet. small note here that the video was originally supposed to be an april fools video at first, which is why the international creators are skinned as the different manhunt members, but was delayed by a day bc editing took longer than expected. discourse starts near immediately as drantis are quick to accuse dream of copying q's idea of a multi language server

april 3rd- quackity announces that a new live translation mod is being implemented in the qsmp. copying accusations are now coming from both sides. note that it has been 1 day since the usmp announcement, so the chance that q actually developed a mod in that time is basically zero. also note that dream said he’d been working on the usmp prior to knowledge of qsmp’s mod being public. this is confirmed by snapchats dream posted later this month of camera roll screenshots of photos of a whiteboard with brainstorming for the usmp with the date march 8th visible, which is prior to the qsmp announcement. the point i’m trying to make here is that the most likely explanation is that it's a big damn coincidence

on this day there was also a brief copypasta started by george and sapnap joking about the similarities between the two servers (the first multilingual smp with live translation). george goes live with the smp from his copypasta tweet (slutsmp) and several ccs join throughout (during the stream its implied he basically @/everyone-ed the entire dsmp discord). he makes several shady comments but at this point its unclear if hes memeing quackity, the fans making drama out of the situation, or both

kind of skipping over a few weeks here bc its a lot of the same Nothingness but basically: discourse continues to spiral, egged on by the fact that dream has continued interacting with/mentioning quackity but is met with radio silence from the other side. there are a few clarifications from dream on twitter during this period that the qsmp and usmp are separate concepts and that he does not hold any ill will towards q

april 24th- while already somewhat assumed after quackity announced the qsmp's translation mod, quackity officially announces that the qsmp will be adding worldwide creators

april 27th- dream drops this thread which i highly recommend reading for yourself bc it gives a lot of context. tldr: quackity hasn't responded to dream despite multiple attempts to reach out, from both dream and other mutual friends. dream doesn't know what's going on with him but doesn't want any more hate to build between their two fanbases. he is explaining this because he feels he should explain his motives/give context as hate has built up to the point of irl threats to himself and his family's safety. he says that he is changing the concept of usmp slightly so there is less competition between the 2 servers and reiterates that he doesn't want any hate sent to quackity and that he's proud of all he's done

radio silence from quackity for this whole day, and then:

april 28th- quackity goes live on twitch. he says nothing about it and announces the new brazilian creators for the qsmp

and that's... kind of where we're at? q has continued being active on qsmp and social media and has said nothing, mutual friends are continuing to interact with quackity, and we've kind of reached a weird stalemate.

there's also some small bits of context that are more on the fandom side of things as to why a lot of ppl aren't supporting quackity anymore, so i'll (semi-briefly) try to explain those here:

during all this a mod on the qsmp was (rightfully) called out for including a mob that portrayed incredibly racist stereotypes of indigenous people. q did eventually remove the mod after public pressure but his apology/explanation of the situation was incredibly lackluster, and he didn't address any of the server members who made racist comments about the mob or after the mod's removal. this soured a lot of people's opinion of quackity/the qsmp in general.

second thing is just general vitriol between the two fandoms. qsmp fans/quackity solos were already being nasty at the start of the month, and that only built as the month continued. i saw at least one instance of a fan supposedly being doxxed and having someone show up to their house over the drama, and heard of ppl having gore/photos of self harm sent to their dms (so y'know. classic toxic twitter fandom bullshit). i will say that the toxicity has recently somewhat risen on the dteam side of things as well, with people being a lot quicker to hate on ccs still interacting with quackity and generally being super neg abt q (tho i can't act like some of that anger isn't slightly warranted. hell, i've been super angry over this and i used to be a super big fan of quackity). a lot of people are disappointed in q's silence over this whole issue and believe that it is quackity's responsibility to at least publicly denounce the doxxing/threats being made by fans in defense of him, especially as it's something that dream has already done, both prior to this situation and during.

as far as "picking sides" goes... a lot of ppl here on dtblr have been doomposting for a while, and at this point quackity is basically in no one's good books. at the same time, most of the rational people i follow have been acknowledging the nuance of the situation, and that a lot of mutual friends may be caught in the middle right now (shit dude, you're talking to a foolish main and that dude's still on quackity's damn server). there's also the matter of dream basically asking people to stop fighting, which at this point i am very inclined to agree with due to the levels of discourse and toxicity that we've already gone through, plus i think it's a better alternative than the community self-cannibalizing any time someone mentions quackity

ultimately it's up to you to decide what you want to do with this info and how much you want to remove yourself/unstan ccs, but know you aren't alone if you're sad/disappointed about how this whole thing has panned out 🫂 it has certainly been quite the Month around here

It's a disaster through and through. This is a long one so please hear me out.

If I wrote this shit in my exams I would get 0 points simply because of how this was structured, or rather how it wasn't. It is one block text, and while the topics are pretty divided I cannot see how it was written to be anything but provocation. Too many topics in one place, some that might have nothing to do with one another(the doxxing, I'll come back to this later.), and some that should not be put on public. (Quackity going no contact) One of my biggest pet peeves in online discourse is how texts are written with no rhyme or reason, just word vomit like in a Discord server's vent channel. Not to mention that this was an unfortunate time to post this.

The fire between the Usmp community and the Qsmp fandom was starting to die down, no one would have said shit if he kept the server the same as he planned because there was no way it was precisely the same. Sometimes people have the same idea at the same time. Happens, whatever. He didn't need to bring it up. Dream has stirred up drama that the communities have already started to put to rest.

In the post Dream also addresses the fact that he has been getting harassed, doxxed, and threatened. Of course, I feel sorry for him, and in that regard, I wish him and especially his family the best, but the fact that he mentions it in the same post he specifically speaks about Quackity and even mentions his name instead of just referring to the Qsmp can lead to connections that should not be made. Quackity had nothing to do with Dream getting harassed, he might not even have known, especially when he doesn't interact with Dream, and by extension maybe his content and comment sections, if he doesn't have to. We can debate if Quackity should have said something (in my opinion he should have) but it isn't his fault. In fact, I don't remember either of them speaking up about the other Dsmp members(or even their fanbases) being harassed. To make matters worse Dream talking about both topics in the same thread makes it seem like he's implying that Quackity is at fault for the attacks when there is no evidence that he is, no mentions of people wearing Quackity merch whatsoever. Quackity is not at fault, and chances are he might not even have known.

He also talks about how he tried to contact Quackity and Quackity didn't respond. This usually means the person who doesn't answer doesn't want to interact. The fact is we can't be 100% sure why, but everyone with connections to youtube, Tiktok, Twitter, or even Tumblr should know a good reason to go no contact with Dream. He is an alleged groomer. I know that we can't know for sure whether he's innocent or not, but that also means that Quackity has decided that he simply doesn't want to be friends with someone who might have directly harmed others. Furthermore, we don't know what either has said off-camera. Shit can happen. Even if nothing happened, I do not fault Quackity for not wanting to interact with Dream, an alleged groomer. I feel like many are forgetting or dismissing that fact and the number of allegations and drama Dream has on his track record.

I am with Quackity on this one. His crime was staying silent and out of someone else's life, he didn't openly communicate to hate Dream, but I don't think he wants to be friends either.

I'm not going to say much to answer this ask just cause it's a topic I'm not rlly the one to talk abt with.

But one thing is that Quackity didn't stop talking to Dream after Dreams allegations. Just a while after Squid Craft they were still on stream together being good friends. And that was long after the allegations started. So there must have been another reason. Just an observation.

And I don't agree with you statement that the whole drama was dying down. My timeline was still full of people doxxing and threatening each other over this stupid discourse.

Of course Quackity is not at fault. Nobody can deny that. He surely did not know what was happening to Dreams family or Dream himself unless Dream specifically told him. Which I can't rlly see happening.

There's no more for me to say tbh. I can't really give my opinion on this but I've read it.

I adore quackity. I really do. I like his content, its entertaining I've been enjoying the lore lately for the qsmp. now what I'm about to say, is no hate towards quackity whatsoever.

Quackity is the one that should speak up. Dream has responded to this situation not once, not twice but three times! At this point the hate is still being thrown around and nothing is stopping.

Quackity fans aren't going to listen to dream. They don't care about dream. They care and listen to quackity and quackity only. They feel that dream "disrespected " quackity. They feel that dream is trying to take all the "attention " away from quackity's project. They feel that dream is "jealous " of quackity and no matter how much dream states that there's no issue between him and quackity. And how they are both great friends and he has alot of admiration and love towards quackity, they do not care.

They are rallying in his defense and they feel like he's been targeted. So they will continue to send hate. They will continue to say disgusting and harmful things. They will continue to attack his friends and other ccs because you know why, no one is telling them that they are wrong. Well. Correction, alot of people are but the person they look up to isn't telling them they are wrong.

Quackity silence is giving them the power to continue to send hateful things and that's the sad part.

I'm not saying he's obligated to speak out because he doesn't have to. He can continue to focus on himself and his project. The reason why something needs to be said is because of the mass hate that's been going around for a week.

I know that he can't control his fans and I'm not asking him too. No one can control thousand of people because everyone has a mind of their own but acknowledging the issue and make a two second tweet saying, "please don't send hate on my behalf" can mean alot. I'm not saying it's going to completely ease the tension but it's worth a try.

At this point, what dream says is out the window. They listen to you and only you.

And it's sad that this is even happening because both projects(qsmp & usmp) is ground breaking. This can help open doors for a more diverse community and this is something that we all should be cheering about and sadly it isn't happening as much.

"Quackity put Dream in danger" meanwhile Dream has repeatedly made public jabs and jokes, seemingly intentionally announced USMP things very close to major QSMP events, and now talks about controversy on main when he previously only did so on private... all while Quackity has literally said and done literally nothing.

What did Dream expect to happen announcing a new server so close to his colleague's project release, or joking about kickboxing him, or posting an essay that the majority of people who see it wouldn't care enough to fully read? He knows how much the internet dogpiles him, justified or not. He had to have known this would cause problems.

I feel awful for his family and I don't want anyone to get hurt, but Dream has done nothing but make this drama worse. It could have ended ages ago. It's faded multiple times only for him to bring it back. If Quackity staying quiet puts people in danger, Dream's incitement is just as bad.

(And I agree with the no-contact anon, his constant "I love him" comments while also implying that the blame for all of this is on Quackity remind me of... bad stuff. Not saying Dream was abusive or anything, just that we don't know WHY Quackity cut him off yet and I want to give him the benefit of the doubt until he does decide to speak up)

First of all, Dream explained that it was an accident that things were so close and similar by accident. We all know Quackity doesn't tell people shit by his own admission. Im pretty sure he even said that he rarely tells anyone anything on the banter episode he was in

Dream used to talk about drama in private because on his public account his replies get flooded with gore and nsfw images.

The fact that you seem to be blaming Dream for having stalkers and having his life and his family's and friend's life's in danger is very fucking weird. Specially considering that they're doing that because of a minecraft server.

Dtkq's friendship was based on silly jabs and jokes made of each other. Do you think it's bad that half of Quackity's jokes and bits with Bad are just him cussing him out and saying that he has some type of disease or accusing him of doing something? Specifically considering Bad is a family friendly streamer?

No, you don't. Because they're friends and they're both okay with it. If something about his relationship with Dtk was bothering Quackity he should have tried communicating about it.

Also, I'm glad it looked like the hate was fading from your side, because it never did. Even I have asks from before the drama where people were hating on either Dream or on me. And I got some very light stuff, nothing close to what the rest of the fandom was dealing with. Please dont just assume that because you couldn't see it from the side that was not getting attacked it wasn't happening

Dream made a long text because it's a complicated and heavy topic and because if he leaves any room for interpretation some dumbasses try to turn it to something bad. Case and point, the dream condom joke that people tried to make drama about because it had a hole

I'm sorry you had a bad experience and that this made you get reminded of it. But this is not your relationship. Do you want me to be honest? I don't think Dream hates Quackity, but I don't think he likes him like he used to. He put that he "loves" Quackity because he respects him and because he does not want his fans to use this as an excuse to attack Quackity and his fans, like how Quackity fans took Quackity's silence for one.

And you know what? We would have a lot more context and would know Quackity's side of view if he actually said something.

So he either 1) really doesn't know about the dream drama bc he no longer allows dream or anything dream related into his feed, or 2) he's aware but doesn't care bc why would you care about a problematic ex-friend when you've totally disowned that person at this point?

1) cannot be true. he was messaged by dream multiple times, even if he didn't respond he definitely read the messages, which informed him of the drama. also he was aware of the usmp video because he used the exact wording in his multilingual announcement (not a coincidence)

2) it is true that he quackity has been separating himself from dteam (for a reason that is not clear, it seems very unlikely to be only because of the allegations). i'm inclined to believe dream when he says they had been talking weeks earlier (even if it wasn't friendly), so total disownership only happened after the qsmp/usmp announcement. regardless, it is irrelevant: the situation should have been addressed, his failure to acknowledge the drama only escalated the situation. it doesn't matter if he hates dream or not. that is part of the job of being a cc.

I'm sorry but I disagree with you. Dream's family got literally doxed and stalked in real life. Someone showed up to his house, a house that he is sharing with George and Sapnap. The life of multiple pleoape is in danger because of this stupid drama. All quackity had to do was answer a message and tell his community to chill (and you can't excuse him and tell me he didn't know how his fans behave). So, yeah, Dream had every god damn right to make this public.

thats a fair viewpoint to have! i dont mind disagreement. i had actually seen a similar take on twitter after i briefly scrolled it after posting, and i actually paused to consider it since i hadnt before.

again, i dont agree with the behavior people have been exhibiting because of this. its absolutely insane. i like the rest of the usmp post and being transparent about his situation, telling fans to stop, and it getting out of hand, and that theres a level of miscommunication going on. the part i thought should stay quiet was just the extent of stuff said about quackity ghosting him/their friends. the rest of it i have no qualms with, and i hope that everybody involved in that situation can stay safe. i just wish there was another way he couldve addressed it all, but atm im also unsure what that couldve ideally looked like

also re quackity's silence, agreed but i dont know why he did/didnt say anything, so i kind of always held back on having a particular opinion on it. i do wish he had taken an opportunity to at least tell the communities to calm down and let himself and dream sort it out privately, but that just blatantly never happened
