I adore quackity. I really do. I like his content, its entertaining I've been enjoying the lore lately for the qsmp. now what I'm about to say, is no hate towards quackity whatsoever.
Quackity is the one that should speak up. Dream has responded to this situation not once, not twice but three times! At this point the hate is still being thrown around and nothing is stopping.
Quackity fans aren't going to listen to dream. They don't care about dream. They care and listen to quackity and quackity only. They feel that dream "disrespected " quackity. They feel that dream is trying to take all the "attention " away from quackity's project. They feel that dream is "jealous " of quackity and no matter how much dream states that there's no issue between him and quackity. And how they are both great friends and he has alot of admiration and love towards quackity, they do not care.
They are rallying in his defense and they feel like he's been targeted. So they will continue to send hate. They will continue to say disgusting and harmful things. They will continue to attack his friends and other ccs because you know why, no one is telling them that they are wrong. Well. Correction, alot of people are but the person they look up to isn't telling them they are wrong.
Quackity silence is giving them the power to continue to send hateful things and that's the sad part.
I'm not saying he's obligated to speak out because he doesn't have to. He can continue to focus on himself and his project. The reason why something needs to be said is because of the mass hate that's been going around for a week.
I know that he can't control his fans and I'm not asking him too. No one can control thousand of people because everyone has a mind of their own but acknowledging the issue and make a two second tweet saying, "please don't send hate on my behalf" can mean alot. I'm not saying it's going to completely ease the tension but it's worth a try.
At this point, what dream says is out the window. They listen to you and only you.
And it's sad that this is even happening because both projects(qsmp & usmp) is ground breaking. This can help open doors for a more diverse community and this is something that we all should be cheering about and sadly it isn't happening as much.

i see people thinking that the side story is the bad ending for kim dokja. and don't get me wrong, he doesn't come back after the door opens, but that is because kimcom CHOSE that.
they had the option to open a door where kim dokja woke up, but they chose to go through the door where he doesn't wake up because they know that first door is a trap (like 49/51), and they want all of kim dokja. and when they go through, kim dokja is gone, but he's left a note. he is STILL OUT THERE (and part of him is with lhh right now. it's complicated)
anyway this is just to say KIM DOKJA IS BACK IN THE SIDE STORY. he is just not with kimcom *yet*. i need to make this clear because i keep seeing people saying things that sound like people think he's gone for real in the side story.

The discourse about Sarah J Maas being called a Zionist is giving witch hunt vibes at this point. Nothing I've seen has been conclusive at all. Just because she's a Jewish woman who went on birthright doesn't mean you should loudly denounce her as supporting genocide.
I am a Jewish woman who is pro-Palestine — so, not a Zionist — but who loves her Jewish diaspora culture. I have anti-zionist and non-zionist Jewish friends who went on Birthright because it's a free trip abroad. I know Jewish people who are staunch Israel supporters and I have Jewish friends going to pro-Palestine protests. Jews are not all one thing, and in fact it's ingrained in our culture that we have NEVER been one thing. There are Jews of all races, of all levels of religious belief, across the political and socioeconomic spectrum, scattered across the world.
If I were a semi-public figure (I say semi because Sarah has been clear that she is not the one posting on her public accounts and she doesn't have much interaction with fans outside of tours) people would probably have loud assumptions about me being a Zionist because I am publicly Jewish, I was a Jewish Studies minor in college, and I used to work at a synagogue. Guess what? I'm not a Zionist. I donate to UNWRA monthly, I do my clicks for Palestine, and I do my best to support with what I have. As a multi-disabled person that's all I can handle right now. If I were a semi-public figure I don't know if I would feel comfortable posting anything publicly either, because people are vicious and terrifying creatures. Sarah has a husband and child. She had gotten threats about fucking ship wars. This is so much more intense than ship wars.
Making these loud assumptions and calling for boycotting SJM, commenting on her social posts even though she isn't the one reading those comments — this is what antisemitism looks like. I know those of you who are angry at Sarah won't want to hear that, or will say that 'everything is antisemitic now' — which is a refrain that should raise red flags since it's the same argument other people use about transphobia, homophobia, racism, etc. You're the good guys, you support Palestine and you're anti-genocide and so on. But using stereotypes about an ethnic group to make assumptions and harass an individual of that ethnic group is not a good look even if you're convinced you're doing it for a good reason. Take that energy and put it toward spreading awareness, contacting politicians, attending protests, maybe even sharing messages from public figures who have posted publicly.
I understand that a lot of non-Jews (and a small number of Jews) are saying that it "has nothing to do" with Sarah being Jewish, it's just that she hasn't "used her platform." I implore you to consider why you are seeing and sharing such anger toward this one (fairly private) Jewish woman and not toward other prominent authors, especially those who are more active online, who have also not spoken out. Do some soul-searching and many of you may find that because Sarah is Jewish, you feel that she owes you a public stance more than other people. Because she is Jewish you feel confident enough to make an assumption about her views and post publicly about these assumptions. That is antisemitism at work. That is why this feels like a witch hunt to me, and why it is upsetting to watch.
As a reminder, I am pro-Palestine. I am not posting this to defend anyone. I am posting this to remind everyone that Jews are not all Zionists. Jews are not all one thing, ever. And deciding you get to hand down judgement on a Jewish person who has not shared their views publicly is antisemitism. It is deciding that you can assume negative things about Jewish people from afar. It is deciding that some antisemitism is actually okay — good, even, if you think it's warranted. I understand that people have other qualms with her writing, but those are not tied to her Jewishness, they're tied to her doing things like using the name Illyria and Illyrians for her ACOTAR series, etc, which is the kind of thing other fantasy authors have done over the years. Doesn't make it good or right but it certainly doesn't have anything to do with Palestine or Zionism.
If you disagree with me, please do not send hatred into my inbox. I am asking you to interact with this post thoughtfully. If your disagreement is going to be an explanation of how Jewish people owe the world every ounce of our energy, health, safety and lives, please step away and take a breath. I do not share your opinion. I have great admiration for those risking life and limb, risking jobs, risking arrest, to support Palestine. However, not everyone should be *required* to do all of those things, especially if you're disproportionately expecting those larger actions from Jews, thinking we "owe" it to the world.
Also, I want to be clear: This is not really about whether Sarah is a Zionist. It's about the fact that we don't know, and you cannot pretend to know. Most of the arguments I'm seeing are making a lot of assumptions, and that is the part that makes me uncomfortable.
If Sarah ends up being a Zionist, I still stand by this post, because it isn't about defending Sarah, it's about my hurt and disappointment in seeing people make assumptions rooted in antisemitism, assuming someone's views based on Jewishness and little else.

People always tend to say that marriage was a big step, a big change. So you don’t know if its just because Eren’s Eren, but nothing really seemed to change with you and him after getting married.
You’d both already settled into your home and wrestled over which room decor you liked more and so things were nice, nice enough that you both decided you wanted to get a cat. It gave you the opportunity to see how far erens responsibility could stretch (which wasn’t too far from what you’ve seen😭) but anyways you guys had your kitten.
It always gravitated towards you, unfortunate for eren who refused to admit how much he truly liked the kitten. You would constantly catch him playing with the kitten way too rough for its size and you’d scold eren for not taking care of it properly etc how hes ‘a terrible father’ to the kitten 😭
Eren whistled rhythmically in a failing attempt to steal the kittens attention as it was once again, all over you. Disturbing whatever you were up to while eren tried to pick it up and place it nearer to him.. only for it to go crawling back to. He frowned like a pissed little kid and was about to verbalise his complaints until he got interrupted by you’re own complaints. Not about the kitten though.
“My head hurts so bad” you groan, hands flying to your temples, “do you feel sick?” eren replies, attention slowly leaving the kitten nestling in your lap.
“Yeah kind of, I think the breakfast you made me was that bad I’m gonna throw it up”
“Fuck you” Eren says, annoyed that he was ever concerned about your wellbeing (hes just kidding guys hes a silly billy this is a hee hee ha ha funny happy family i swear)
You snicker at Erens eye roll, “But really though I don’t know why I feel so nauseous”,
“Well maybe your allergic to the kitten?” Eren suggests in such a genuine tone that it was humorous.
“Eren,” you sigh, “you make it so hard not to bully you, you cant get mad at me” you’re disappointing sigh turns into another playful giggle as Eren starts frowning while you explain to him how cat allergies are more sneezing rather than nausea, and how you’ve had the kitten for long enough that you would most definitely not be allergic😭
“Yeah yeah fuck off the kitten doesn’t even like you” he says deflecting how he was wrong as it continues to roll around on your lap. “Take some medicine or whatever”, as always he still cares.
You open your cabinet in the toilet reaching for the painkillers, your hand stops as you notice the purple box next to it. You only had it really ‘just in case’ but in all fairness.. you were late. Your brain forced your hand to take the pregnancy test box because it would be harmless and would ease your worry and speculations.
Eren wasn’t home right now so it was safe enough for you to anxiously wait on your bed, staring at the test in the packet. Your glare getting interrupted as your alarm goes off alerting you that you can now check. It was positive, your second test was aswell, then the third one you rushed to buy at the store was also positive😭
This wasn't bad news at all, simply new.
You'd constantly joke about erens immaturity and lack of responsibility although you'd known him well enough to see that in the right moments, he truly is a highly capable man who would do great as a father, it grew on you as the minutes passed, the thought of starting a family with him didn't seem so bad even though you and eren weren't exactly aiming to get pregnant in the moment you did😭
You searched in your head for a way to break the news to him and you figured it would be fun to include the other member of the family, your kitten🤷♀️
"Im home" you hear ur husband shout as the front door shuts. "Hi Eren!!" you shout back, purposely in another room,
"can u feed the kitten really quick? I forgot to a while ago its probably hungry by now!"
"Wow and you call me a bad father" eren mutters, "I heard you." You reply blankly as he grins amused.
The kitten walks eagerly overtaking eren walking towards its little food station set aside by the kitchen counter. He notices one of the has evidently less full than the others so he decides to take that one to finish up in the kittens bowl.
You watch behind him eagerly but quietly lingering sheepishly around the counter, he tips the bag upside down as only a plain box falls out of it. "..what" he mumbles in confusion, he opens it to see the test inside but doesn't immediately react, nor move.
"Are you pregnant?!" he exclaims..
Facing the kitten and still not looking back to you, "Fuck off eren" you say smiling, yeah he heard you behind him.
He finally turns to you as you walk towards him, he has a fat grin on his face as he opens his arms rushing toward you before you can and hugs you so tight your feet lift off the floor and you feel like you're suffocating, you'll let it slide this time.
He finally settles you down in front of the counter, loosening his grip as he moves his hands to cradle your head, frantically planting kisses on your forehead to your cheeks to you nose to your lips. He can't contain his dashing grin and neither can you
"Can I name it?" Eren says with a boyish grin you know you cant trust,
"absolutely not" you say monotonously.
He frowns again, still tangling you in his arms against the counter as he runs one of his thumbs across your cheek, the other cradling your lower back keeping you close to him. "Why not?”
“Why not??? Because you tried to name our kitten Eren junior!"
"Eren juniors a great name, idk what you have against it!!"
"I hate you."
"Yeah yeah you love me, and i'll love our kid too."
"Yeah?" you say quietly, brushing a strand of loose hair behind his ear. Your hand glides downwards his shoulder as you simply admire your husband, your husband.
He stares into you deeply, slowly leaning in once again to kiss you. His hand moves from your face to the back of your head, encouraging you closer, deepening the kiss. Meanwhile your hands run through his hair. He gently pushes you forward into the counter as you both melt against each other, savouring the sensation of tooth-rotting love and adoration buzzing at your fingertips.

Bringing this to Tumblr cuz I keep seeing people talk about it on Twitter but I'm not making a fucking thread right now.
Anyways, personally I just think it's a little weird how suddenly a bunch of the non English/poc qsmp members are under scrutiny for doing horrible things, to the point of people literally calling for their removal from the server, yet I have not seen a single person give any legit sources to prove these claims. Plus the accusations are never specific it's always "I think they maybe did [insert vague action] thing that's really bad" or "I've heard they did something horrible and they need to loose their platform.
Literally anytime I've seen someone ask what happened the replies have been VERBATIM, "several members have been found to be racist/homophobic/antisemitic/transphobic in the past." Like y'all can't even decide what you're even accusing them of might as well just chuck in every horrible label you know! I'm surprised misogyny isn't in there? Oh wait! That's right! These same people people are also calling for the only women on the server to be removed for things that are literally fucking harmless such as, attending the wedding of a person some people don't like, or, explaining their home country has flaws. So I guess accusing OTHER people of being sexist would be hypocritical of them.
Like no damn wonder Quackity hasn't addressed anything you guys cant even decide what needs to be addressed in the first place, just that everyone that's from a different culture than you (and sometimes even people from the same culture the way I've seen people talk about Bad and Jaiden is actually sickening) is somehow a horrific individual who is terribly bigoted. I've been watching this server almost every day for hours on end since it launched and I haven't seen anything from anyone that can't be quickly summed up to be a cultural difference or small misunderstanding that people are blowing out of the water. Like, if someone legit did something bad then it deff needs to be addressed, but that's if that thing happened less than a year ago, (especially not if it's from when they were A CHILD. Like people are trying to cancel Roier for shit he said when he was 13! 13! I'm the same age as him and I can promise that if you took shit I said from literally the same timeframe it wouldn't be pretty either!) If they haven't already apologized for it and moved on with their lives, or if it is something that is legitimately hurting people and not just something you find personally distasteful.
The qsmp is really fucking cool and it's clear that the creators involved have a lot of respect for each other so it's so disappointing that some of the fans don't have the same amount of respect. It's incredibly shameful and it makes me feel horrible just to be associated with some of these people. The whole point of this server is to break barriers and to make friends across cultures where there wouldn't have been an opportunity beforehand, and so many people are instead trying to sabotage that.
Especially from the English speaking community. We have the privilege of being an incredibly diverse and culturally complicated community (which isn't to say other communities aren't I think that ours just is especially here is the USA), and while the exposure of more cultures leads to more misunderstandings and unfortunately more straight up bigotry, we still have more exposure to diverse groups then other people do. If anyone should be understanding and welcoming it should be us! But some of you people are out here acting like fools. Once again, if someone legit did something bad, they do need to be held accountable for their actions. But way to many of you confuse being held accountable with having their entire lives upended. You also confuse "did a bad thing they need to take responsibility for." With, "they did this thing out of a lack of understanding and have since apologized, learned better, and moved on, but I'm still gonna bring it up again and hurt everyone involved because I think that making a mistake is grounds for being publicly ridiculed!" If there was something bad going on, and if people had legit proof that it IS INFACT happening because said person is a bigot and not just misguided, then I'll be behind it 100%, but after watching this dance over and over again I can't help but feel that instead of people actually being concerned that horrible people are in places of power, they're instead making up horrible accusations about normal people that are just trying to do their jobs. It really feels like there isn't an effort to actually understand where other people are coming from and instead to judge them and make them conform to your definition of socially appropriate, it's not fucking cool.
Us English speakers as a community should be holding ourselves to a higher standard because this type of behavior doesn't just make one person look bad, it paints a bad name for all of us. And please for the love of God dont immediately believe every fucking rumour you hear, and especially don't believe it if you can't find any evidence, and ESPECIALLY don't go and harass the person the rumors about! Like, I don't even know if some of the examples I used here are legit cuz I haven't seen sources/ cant find any for them, but even if they did have sources they would be total bullshit accusations anyways! Think for once instead of jumping on some hate train with all the other brainless idiots out there holy fuck.

one thing about me is I Will make a playlist. this is an ongoing threat and there is no stopping me
#i approach the mic at the front of the stage. i am making a sifloop playlist#the crowd cheers. i nervously tug my suit collar and lean towards the mic#but its not in a romantic subtext and i dont actually like the rom ship#the crowd throws tomatoes at me and i sadly walk off stage#LIKE OKAY LISTEN i do not understand the rom aspect people seem to cling to. but I Get sifloop. does this make sense#there is no rom aspect with them to me. loop hates themself and their care for sif is the second chance they never got#basic human empathy no longer exists when you aren't really 'human' anymore#<<< said by my lovely friend jesper cause yeah. they get it. we get it#so now my struggle is making this playlist and sending beams of 'please god this isnt rom' to anyone who may listen to it lmao#busy.🐝
