Lmao, that was a joke!! Because I was vibing with you so much I called you a mutual, but then followed up with clarifying that I just found your blog. Interesting! I may need to look into this LA fic 👀

Also felt. Re: special bond for reasons, but it’ll get a bit wordy if I explained it. And FELT she should’ve been up there if you played as Lyra, or my personal ideal: you can’t see the figure on Mt Silver bc they’re covered by fog, and a text option pops up going “There’s a blurry figure. It looks like a girl/boy.” So that way you can choose!! Without needing to play the whole game as one gender, AND they had the animation quality to do it and make the fog clear up if they could animate the Legendary summoning. And these text options they’ve been doing since Gen 1 such a missed opportunity :( oh well, she’s canon in my heart and the insane AU fic series I’ve been building for years. If you want to talk my ear off about your own AU, I’d be willing to listen through posts on your blog or DMs (at a later date tho, headaches and exams kicking my butt rn)

HELLO??? VoloKari and no ship name. Wild, Wieldershipping sounds about right! Man, pairs so rare you gotta name them yourself, an age old fandom battle for sure. I accidentally stumbled upon a Leaf x Leon aroace soulmate fic on Ao3 and walked out of there going…huh. Leon’s about 20 in canon right. They say he held the title for a decade. Kids start at age 10. If I’m making 6 years pass since S1 of the anime, and Leaf’s older than Ash then technically…I have zero ideas for a ship name but man it sure is funny to think about in a Dad Lance context where he’s all “hey look, here’s someone like you who won the Championship young!” And Leaf just sees a weird goof with tacky fashion. Until she finds out he has “I’m too strong angst” in the way Red did. Who ran off to an ice mountain for three years. Then nothing is funny anymore. And everything with Rose. AND he has a little brother. That’s great because Lance is a father of two with Silver(? maybe in the non-anime centered fic) as well. Relatable. Younger siblings becoming the Chosen Ones all the time sure is wild huh? (Technically Ash unless if I bring in side-media) and it’s just plain funny to hear how annoyed Lance gets at her complimenting Leon’s cape as a joke but calling his an oversized bib on the wrong side and whatever else. Silly dragon man wannabe superhero Dracula looking- lmao. I noticed you have a love triangle with Leaf, Green, and Brock. Totally valid :D it’s cool co-existing with everyone and their different takes. I personally write Leaf and Brock’s relationship like the one between a law student and a med student.

“Jumping the Sharpedo, Packed like Wishiwashi, Bullying a Dragon-Type” lmaoo these are so good, and such good descriptions. But my favorite HAS to be the one about The Renegade. Oh that is incredible. It’s been fun talking with you :D

After telling Laventon that the two of them would likely never cross paths again, Volo suddenly appears before Akari, on his hands and knees, pleading for her forgiveness with a look in his eye that can only be described as reverence...

Things get weirder before they get better.

It's funny that you mention Leon x Leaf, because I was just telling a friend the other day how I think I'm the only person on the face of the earth who's thought about them as a pair. I envisioned the two of them meeting when Leaf and Green take a trip to Galar together sometime before the events of SwSh, and Leon is quickly smitten.

Leaf is just as silent as her brother, but she's an extrovert and makes friends with ease wherever she goes.

I have no idea what the shipping name for them would even be either. The closest I came was 'KanlarChampionshipping' (Kanto + Galar), but it's kind of misleading because neither of them are Champions later down the line - the current Champion of the Indigo League is probably still Kotone/Lyra or Hibiki/Ethan, not Leaf at the very least, and Leon loses his title by the end of SwSh.

So if anybody has any ideas for what their shipping name could be, I'm open to suggestions!

Okay I'm genuinely in love with this one. I actually had it as my PC wallpaper for a while but it turned out to be too lively and bright for my AuDHD ass (+ my dad was staring weird at my PC and I felt like V-kun was silently judging my SMT IV playtrough hahaha) so I had to change it 😭😭 Anyways the quality of this one? HONESTLY for the mcu, the first thing that instantly popped into my mind was bucky, yeah maybe he wouldn't be a huge theater nerd, but i think he would be soo interested in your hobbies and after a while when you introduced him to it, he would be obsessed w it!! idk why i can see bucky as the type of person who would do whatever you love!!! and the two dogs is just bucky's dream, i like to think bucky has one big dog that he loves with his whole ass heart so he's so SO excited when you tell him you have two dogs bc he wants to make your dogs bffs with his IMMEDIATELY, and best believe he will take such good care of your babies bc he loves dogs sm, (i think he even secretly talks to them in baby voice but whenever someone comes around he immediately coughs to cover it up and then starts talking in a really deep voice lmaoo) i feel like bucky is the type to read classical books, so when u introduce him to booktok books esp romance books HES HOOKED AND HE’s ready to recreate the romantic scenarios and some spicy scenarios w u !!!! <33

jegulus- i love the range james and regulus can have,,, LOVE it. i like exploring how they could work in a canonical sense and i also just like the deepening of james potter's characterization (i am a james girlie always) ,,, there's the whole best friend's brother angle,, the angst can be astronomical ,, it's so good!! (also not to mention just like all the lovely people i've been able to meet through jegulus!!)

dorelene- marlene mckinnon is the love of my life <3 dorcas meadowes is also the love of my life <3 i love them together. i love them in a canon compliant context,, the tears i shed from the angst,, dorcas being the ultimate weapon in avenging marlene,, i eat that up every.time. there's so much potential. quidditch rivals, academic rivals, mutual pining ,,, i like to read about cool people doing cool shit and dorlene is the embodiment of that to me

wolfstar- og. cannot express enough how wolfstar never lets me down <3 and i think it's because of the mass amount of wolfstar works on ao3 due to how long it's been a ship but there is a well-written wolfstar fic for EVERYTHING i could ever think to want. coffee shop au? bookstore au? enemies to lovers? canon compliance? slytherin sirius? anything my little brain fancies,, there is a wolfstar fic out there,, and that's a level of comfort that has spoiled me lmaoo

drarry- see wolfstar. first, drarry is my first harry potter ship so it goes on the board for nostalgia purposes and also bc it's my personal og ship. i was reading drarry one shots on tumblr on my little one direction blog lmfaoo. there is also a drarry fic for every situation i feel like. and it's so fun to explore in a canonical sense and after the war and yeah!! love drarry <3

jily- when it's done right i love jily and i also just feel like it's hard to not like jily if you come from wolfstar bc they're the background ship in so many wolfstar fics and i adore them <33 so. much. talk about devastating and tragic. and also lily evans my beloved <3 it's a good ship for slowburns ! and angst! and mischief and amortentia lessons <3 when i think jily i think abt reading fic that makes me giggle and kick my feet hahahaha (and then halloween happens and i think abt sobbing yk the vibes)

2022 WRITING EVALUATION

i started answering these questions because hazel @allsassnoclass tagged me, but i took forever so now i’ve also been tagged by amanda @lifewasradical and taylor @jbhmalumm too lmaoo thank you guys <3

i’m gonna do as you suggested, hazel, and include my non 5sos fics here too instead of doing this again in my 911 blog @buckleyseddie it’s easier this way!

1. number of stories posted on ao3: 13 (9 5sos fics, 1 stranger things fic, 3 911 fics)

2. word count posted for this year: 73,269 for 5sos, 36,154 for 911 and 9,223 for stranger things, so a total of 118,646!

3. fandoms i wrote for: 5sos, stranger things, 911

4. pairings: i have malum (2), mashton (1) lashton (1), cashton (2), muke (1), ot4 (1) and my favorite luke/suffering (1) lmao, steve/eddie from stranger things (1) and buddie (3)

5. story with the most kudos/bookmarks/comments: overall it's the first buddie fic I posted, but for the 5sos fics bookmarks and kudos is Off-stage, comment threads is fueling the fire until we combust

6. work i’m most proud of (and why): i think it’s if i could say the things i want to say (i’d find a way to make you stay), my muke fic for the 5sos fic exchange at the beginning of the year, it was my first long fic and i was very happy about how it came out, there were many times when i didn’t think i would be able to finish it, also it was my first muke fic and i was nervous about getting the dynamic right and there was a deadline so. lots of pressure!! being able to finish it (and getting very nice comments and feedback on it) was very important for me

7. work i’m least proud of (and why): i think i’m actually proud of all of them because this year writing was a Struggle so being able to post every single one of these fics feels like something to be proud of!

8. share or describe a favorite review you received: i can’t think of one in particular right now but anyone who has ever complimented my characterization or said that i got a ship/friendship dynamic right please know that i love you! this year i wrote quite a few fics for ships i’ve never done before and it made me very nervous whether or not i did it right so any comments like those made my day for sure

also i think the comments on mating call might be some of my favorite comments ever because, let’s face it, that fic is ridiculous svdfdf and people still read it and they left the nicest comments calling it funny and calling me funny and it was very nice to see people enjoying it, especially considering it was the most fun i had while writing a fic i think EVER

9. a time when writing was really, really hard: can i say the entire year??? there were maybe 2 or 3 fics that i posted this year that didn’t give me a hard time, but the rest of the year i was Struggling either because i had no time or no motivation or writing simply wasn't happening. i’m actually impressed that i posted 13 fics because at times it felt like i wasn’t getting any writing done this year

10. a scene or character you wrote that surprised you: well i definitely didn’t expect to end up writing for 911 or stranger things, so that was a surprise! i also didn’t expect to write lashton again! and i didn’t expect to write a luke/suffering fic! all of them were fun surprises though

11. a favorite excerpt of your writing: i thought about this for a while and then i had to skim through my fics because i couldn’t remember what i wrote oops but i really like this excerpt from i wanna hold your hand while we’re growing up so let’s go with this one

Michael focuses on their hands.

The contrast between their skin, Calum’s chipped black nail polish, Michael’s finger tattoos, the difference in their size.

It wasn’t always like this. Calum’s hand used to be smaller, Michael’s fingers used to be less calloused, but it’s still familiar, after years of doing this.

And maybe it’s the fact that Calum looks tiny like this, hurt and scared, but his hand feels smaller in Michael’s hold, like it did the first time he held it. Back then, Calum also needed reassurance and a friend, and Michael was there for him, the same way he is now. Just like he didn’t let go of Calum’s hand then, during the entire field trip, he doesn’t let go of it now; holding tight to it while he talks to his mother, while they wait for the doctor, while she explains to Calum that it’s going to be a long road towards recovery and he’s going to need his friends.

Michael squeezes his hand to make sure Calum knows he’s here. Michael will always be here.

12. how did you grow as a writer this year? well apparently i wrote 45k more than i did in 2021? which feels so fake because like i said i felt like i didn't post as much and i felt like i struggled a lot. also i wrote 4 fics over 9k which was my highest word count for a fic in 2021

more importantly i also learned (or at least i’m still trying to learn) that sometimes you just can’t force writing. i have to admit i’ve missed writing 5sos lately but i’ve stopped trying to force myself to do it because it takes away all the fun and i don’t want that. i’m hoping that the motivation to write for this fandom will come back, but i’m trying to write what i want to write and right now that’s not 5sos and that’s okay

13. how do you hope to grow next year? i just really want to enjoy writing again and like, let go of the pressure because it doesn’t make the process enjoyable at all. even if i’m proud of what i accomplished this year i spent so much time stressing!! and life is already stressful, i want writing to be fun!!

14. who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc)? oh there’s quite a few! i think i owe most of the fics i posted this year to my friends??? like, maya @calumsash was so supportive while writing my muke fic, she gave me great ideas, listened to me complain and hyped me up so much when i would send her snippets (which she always does <3), her and jess @daydadahlias never fail to hype up my cashton fics or ideas!! talking with amanda was what made me write a lashton fic again!! and she gave me ideas/feedback on one of my malum fics too!! then there’s taylor of course who’s always down to talk about ideas that may or may not turn into fics and i’m not only lucky to be able to talk about 5sos fics with them but they also encouraged me to write my stranger things fic and had very nice things to say about it and then i managed to get them into 911 (maya too!) and now i get to talk to them about fic ideas for buddie too

15. anything from your real life show up in your writing this year? hm i don’t think so? all i can think about is the fact that calum loves chocolate milkshakes in one of my fics and michael doesn’t get why (which is based on me and taylor having that same argument once lmao)

16. any new wisdom you can share with other writers? write what you want but also accept that sometimes a fic idea doesn’t have to become a fic, sometimes it’s just fun to talk about it or daydream about it or make a moodboard for it! it’s not exactly writing wisdom but it makes having fun a little easier!! less pressure!!

17. any projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year? i have two long cashton fics that i really want to finish but like i said the motivation to write for the boys hasn’t been there, but hopefully at some point. i have quite a lot written for both so maybe i can make it happen. one is a fake relationship au and i’ve always wanted to write that trope so i really really want to finish that one!! and the other one is the one that me and maya affectionately refer to as the storm au, i’ve sent her so many snippets and there’s so much that i love about what i have written and that i really want to share!! also i have a few ideas for buddie that i think have a higher chance of happening in the near future because i’m so obsessed with them right now lol there’s one that i want to post before they come back from hiatus so i’m hoping to focus on that one for now!! we’ll see!!

Adyllus & Xerzen: Wary tolerance, I imagine, on the part of cat Sith toward a Jedi who he'd probably consider a reasonable-enough person. One who wouldn't outright reject him (or Ashara) is at least worth listening to if they had something they needed to discuss. (Kissing verdict: too Straight to try that, apparently lol)

Noviitro & Lyir: BH and smuggler have some things in common--they might not appreciate each other's personalities, though, if Noviitro seemed too sour / Lyir seemed too talkative! (Kissing verdict: ...that doesn't mean it's off the table for Lyir. Anyone who doesn't behave like a complete jerk in front of him probably has a chance)

Portirou & Zahied: Volatile combination where disciplined, professional soldier/officer Zahied (who likes to pretend he's stable & put-together, even at his most unhinged) would find NO respect for a rowdy, chaotic, self-absorbed criminal. As his life fell apart he stopped caring so much about rules--if breaking them would get the results he needs for the Good of the Republic, he'll let a smuggler work for his side. Nonetheless his personal disgust would be palpable interacting with some of them. hehheh (Kissing: not happening. Pointing guns at each other: one wrong move & that’s a real possibility)

Vanzeth & Rakine: Even worse. Knowing that someone is comfortable being an Imperial is all Rakine needs to know to hate (and possibly attack) someone--a nasty one is a priority target for her. (Outcome: Shoot On Sight from the saboteur, if she can't manage to blow up his entire ship first)

Glondaka & Cezek: There are very few people who don't immediately hate Cezek, and some--like a Jedi--she would go out of her way to see them repulsed by her behaviour. (Violence verdict: depends how resistant Glondaka is to being goaded toward a confrontation by someone who can't possibly beat her in a fight, but would consider it a victory to get punched in the face by a "peacekeeper")

Rerfanox & TD: The party Sith would himself say that chiss Love him, and that he has numerous hot chiss friends--but more are /always/ welcome. Whether that goes well or badly for him. . . (Kissing verdict: Tarskal wishes. Rare is the kiss opportunity he would decline)

Lebaza & Elenir: Gay trooper ladies, unite! Elenir is easily swayed into approving of cute girls with a moral code. (Kissing verdict: Perfectly plausible to me that they’d be kissing over the table at the cantina when the bottle has chosen it. . . They also just seem like they would get along well as army buddies based on common values)

Zinkaea & Vensys: Lmaoo. Vensys may be too cocky about his ability to manipulate a situation--but he also just LOVES to flirt for the game (and for the potential influence/ammunition that could come out of it. shhh). He also would say he serves an excellent cup of tea. This Agent/Watcher/Secretary/Personal Assistant is all about making winning favors & making a good impression. (Kissing verdict: even if Sith are usually a little above his simple station, he’s bold enough to try it if he thinks he can get away consequence-free)

hi i hope you are having a great day :) i just joined from twt after everything that happened and wanted to know if there are any accounts that you recommend to follow if you have any? like artists or theorists that are cool - because i wanted to start mass following people! or any advise you can give on how to curate a good tumblr experience i would be grateful for!! thank you (and everyone) so much for being so welcoming, i’m coming back to tumblr after leaving a few months ago so it’s been strange to realize i’m now a twt refugee lmaoo

i actually already made a post of blogs to follow, so here’s one on curating a good experience :]

0. i’d recommend lurking around on people’s blogs for a weekish before trying to make your own presence. it’s a good way of learning all our unspoken etiquette first-hand

1. follow people and tags that you like! you’re only going to see posts they make or reblog (as long as you go into your setting and turn off “best stuff first”)

2. download “new xkit”, it’s a browser extension that gives tumblr cool extra helpful features. not necessary, but really nice!

3. use tag filters! if you go into your setting there’s options to block specific tags, for instance, if you’re triggered by blood, you’d want to block “tw blood” “blood tw” and “blood”, etc. you can also do this for characters, ships, fandoms, anything you’d rather not see. (the post will still be on your dash, but blurred over like a discord spoiler option).

4. block people!! use the block button frequently and without remorse. no one here notices or cares, and trust me, it saves a lot of grief. someone is actually really toxic or bigoted? block them. they have really nasty character takes? block them. they made a single tiny comment that you just didn’t vibe with? block. you think their pfp is ugly? BLOCK! nobody minds, and it’ll save you a lot of headaches. blocking and moving on is what we do instead of call-outs.

5. customize your blog! i might just be ocd* but i love messing with and changing the layouts and colors all day. on mobile, all blogs look the same besides the color and font, but on desktop, you can actually download or code your blog to look like an entirely different and unique website! look at my blog on desktop and you’ll see what i mean. it’s very fun, and if you search “tumblr themes”, you can find tons of really cool free ones. go hog wild! it’s YOUR blog!

I think I know why i loves this blog (and you, of course!) So much. My parents was separated when I was just a baby and I lived with my mom ever since, and that mean I lack love with my father. We still connected, because he DOES love me, they divorced because back then apparently my father was a playboy and my mom, being young and all, didn't like it and they keep arguing about it (lol).

Also I've been craving to have older brother ever since I was a kid, so when I first got exposed with Germancest from hetalia I was like,.. very fond of it.

And so began my journey exploring incest porn (this all happen when I was just 3rd grade istg😭) and I found comfort from Prussia being used as a cum dump by his brother Germany. I love seeing the character just receiving everything open handedly and let the seme do all the shit for him.

Right, i like it because it is FICTIONAL. I like to IMAGINE being non conned by a character i like in my MIND, but NOT REAL LIFE. I like incest and dilf because I lack love and care from older man, so I cope with it by liking a character from anime or games. And it DOES help me a lot. There's time where I failed my class and need to redoing it again next year, and if it were not for these kinks and fictional men I would have killed myself back then.

Maybe that's also why i enjoy making something like, dad!(character) x child!reader, because it gives me a sense of comfort I never had. Also also, I actually not that good with kids in real life, but fictionally, i wanted to have many kids as possible with my men lol.

But yes I think a lot of people go through a “shame phase” when it comes to this sort of thing, I definitely did, spent years feeling like there was something wrong with me.

Also don’t feel bad about having to redo classes or anything like that -- there’s a huge pressure to do things perfectly but no one can do things perfectly, it’s perfectly normal to repeat classes, I think there’s a lot of people who don’t want to admit it so we don’t realize how common it is.

I’m also bigger on more submissive/scared darling inserts... I’m a very nonaggressive person tbh. A lot of yandere fanfiction has the darling like insulting them, hurting them and fighting super hard and I can’t relate very well 😅 I prefer a darling that like, doesn’t just lie down and accept it, but more like tries to be sneaky and work around the yan/try to escape by acting or underhanded, covert methods, bc I know that’s what I would do lol. I’d be way too scared to be super defiant, a stubborn brat sure but not extremely defiant.

But I’m so glad you were able to come to that acceptance!! It’s a great feeling to finally reach the point where you accept that there’s nothing wrong with you and just say fuck it to social stigmas against certain types of content.

firstly, this is actually a more common occurrence than people think! i’ve told this story a few times now to artists who felt exactly the same: when i first posted, i deleted my doodles within a minute (LOL) and it was actually sky georgeliker who reached out asking if he could reblog !! (sorry i dont shut up abt this sky HAHAHA u meant a lot to me even unknowingly <3) i think from that moment, i thought, if just one other person enjoyed what i post, i want to!! there’s literally no harm if no one does anyway bc this is a brainrot blog not a portfolio LMAO. and i am so so glad i did because i then definitely met more than one person lol i even met u ;)) people are so so kind here, and it really changed my perception on both my own art and art as a whole

nonnie i’ve never seen your art but i know for sure i would love to see it, and everyone would too :) there’s no such thing as bad art, and even then sharing will help u improve so much faster!! u can talk to me any time about it too, we’ll learn to improve and be kinder to our art together :>

recognize when u start thinking the bad thoughts! point it out and say “i’m thinking bad thoughts, i have to stop. why should i make myself feel bad? why should i think at all?? this is a brainrot blog??” (is this good advice i am questioning myself shgswjsh this is what i do lmaooo)

point out the things u LIKE from ur art, even really little things. pretend it’s a friend’s work, u’ll be surprised how much kinder u are to others’ creations! if u enjoy parts of it, someone else would enjoy it too and more

don’t be discouraged if u don’t get a lot of recognition or notes immediately, most of that is irrelevant to how actually good ur art is. a LOT of my fave artists have like <200 notes every post (and thats a lot!! its just that i wanna give 10000 lol). it doesn’t mean that the people who DO see it don’t love it

tbh i avoid looking at numbers at all like the plague bc it gives unnecessary pressure !! i have no idea how many followers i have lol (but i do check the tags bc (1) ppl r so supportive i wanna cry and (2) ppl r v thoughtful and sometimes gives interesting input to ur art :> but if it pressures u then u should avoid this too imo)

talk to other artists!! :>

Ty so much for sending me this ask! I really enjoyed answering this question, and it actually made me think a lot more about this character. I’m sorry it took so long to reply, I had a really busy day + my phone was dying when I got your message (although I don’t like responding from my phone cause it causes a lot of grammar issues to the point of questioning my own English lol).

Also, this is mostly based on my opinions/interpretation, which I am aware that may not align with anyone else’s interpretation.

Keeping this under the cut cause it came out wayyyyyy too long. Also, there might be some grammar mistakes that I’m too lazy to search for cause typing this thing tired me out lmaoo, so sorry in advance. But don’t be shy to ask me more questions or to send your own headcanons! I love this shit.

Talk to me about HOMRA

Daily Routine:

Okay so this one is a little hard for me cause I barely go on a daily routine when I’m not going to class or work but even then I barely function well so I barely think about how others go on about their days.

He’s one of the few early risers in HOMRA, even on his days off, due to insomnia.

Which causes him to be super grumpy during the morning and even at work (but it’s a good thing he knows how to pull himself together, otherwise he’d be giving Bandou a run for his money when it comes to getting fired).

He drinks a lot of coffee (there’s a Starpucks right near his job, after all) which is great cause it gives him energy, but it’s also bad cause it gives him too much energy

Like seriously, he’s probably one of those super annoying cheery guys you lowkey wanna smack sometimes but don’t cause self control and cause he’s cute af

He actually doesn’t go to HOMRA every single day like the other members. Some days he’s too tired from work, other days he just wants to chill with his other friends.

But he’s always the first one there whenever something urgent comes up.

He tries to go to the gym at least three times a week, to make sure he stays fit.

In general though, he enjoys working out and staying active.

He honestly hates staying in his apartment for a long time though. Not only does he feel lonely, but lately he’s been thinking too much (”We’re all doomed”- Bandou). Memories of Totsuka & Mikoto, how HOMRA disbanded once, the possibilities of HOMRA not being in his future, etc.

He’s not exactly sure if he wants to enroll in university, cause fuck school, but he also can’t rely on working part time at a local diner for the rest of his life

Which leads him to enroll in an online class for coding since he’s one of the few people who prefers numbers over literature

Whenever he has the time, he loves adventuring out in Shizume city, checking out new places (but lets be real, this boys been everywhere) and making new friends.

Loves to sit on roof tops; it makes him feel like he’s at top of the world. It’s the little things that makes life worth living.

HOMRA:

He’s one of the moodmakers of HOMRA (mostly amongst the abc boys + yata/kamamoto. He’s way too intimidated by Mikoto).

I headcanon him as being the strongest amongst the abc boys. Akagi may be behind Dewa in terms of perception, but he is physically stronger. So that combined with his own strong perception skills, makes him a really good fighter, much to the envy of Bandou & Chitose.

Despite being a laidback and cheerful guy, he loves fighting. Whenever there is some illegal gang to bust, he’s one of the first ones out the bar, itching to smash some guy’s head with his bat or burning them all.

He’s obviously closer to the other alphabet boys than he is with the core members of homra (trio + anna/yata/kamamoto), which leads them to forming their own group within the clan. Whereas the main members are in the bar most of the time, the alphabet boys are usually out partying or dicking around somewhere.

Job/Studies:

Based on the movie and some official content, it’s safe to say that he works part time at a local diner, which he later gets Bandou to join.

Despite him being grumpy in the morning, he’s always friendly to the customers he’s serving, which makes him super popular, especially amongst the female customers.

At first, he was oblivious to it, but that didn’t last to long cause he is pretty perceptive. Eventually he uses his charms to his advantage, cause the more customers, the more tips.

He’s always caught in the middle of arguments between Bandou and his boss (and sometimes other coworkers) which he often has to beg his boss not to fire Bandou cause yeah the guy’s petty, but he’s really good at frying those potatoes (no lie, San Chan is really passionate about how he cooks his fries).

But sometimes it leads to his own job being on the line since he’s the one who convinced his boss to hire Bandou (goddammit san chan). It’s a good thing he’s popular amongst the ladies.

As i mentioned before, he enrolls in an online coding class, since he’s still on the fence about going to an actual university, but he doesn’t wanna spend his life flipping burgers.

I actually got the coding idea from another blog, but it really makes sense since he was good with hacking in s1.

Back in school, he was an average student. He did the bare requirements, always studied last minute, and would zone out in class. But he’s always found himself doing better in math. To him, math was simple. You just gotta work through the problem to find the correct answer, which is kinda how life works. He likes that there is only answer to a question, not multiple interpretations. This pretty much reflects on Shouhei himself. Despite being an optimistic guy, he tends to the see the world in shades of black & white.

Relationship (*slightly nsfw):

Honestly, I can see him in a relationship, but it’s usually set during the MOR timeline (before Totsuka’s death), months after the events of ROK, or in a completely alternative universe where no one dies. I can only imagine how his s/o would feel when they find out about him & the rest of HOMRA terrorizing a high school in order to seek vengeance.

He’s not a womanizer like Chitose, nor is he desperate for a woman to look at him like Bandou, but he’s had his share of relationships & hookups.

I genuinely think that he’s one of the more experienced members in HOMRA after Kusanagi & Chitose, but he’s more discreet about it. Also, he’s just not the type to flirt with every single woman he sees.

Actually super romantic and takes relationships seriously, but occasionally indulges in random hookups and one night stands.

Has been in a friends with benefits relationship, but it did not end well since he ended up catching unrequited feelings.

Has actually flirted with a couple of his customers who interested him, and gave them his number.

Very into PDA (handholding, kisses, arm around the waist, hugs, etc).

*As mentioned by other blogs, he’s adventurous when it comes to sex, but he has a soft spot for vanilla cause it seems romantic. Loves foreplay, and he usually prefers giving oral than receiving cause he loves to please his s/o (and cause he has an oral fixation).

*Lowkey fantasizes about public sex, but knows how control himself.

He wants a relationship in where they’re best friends, and have a lot of fun together, even if they’re doing boring shit like watching Netflix & eating takeout on a Saturday night (it’s the company that matters).

He’s a super friendly guy, which can sometimes annoy his s/o cause some people misinterpret his kindness as romantic interest.

I could see him being weak for sweet & petite girls with long brown hair (this may seem like self inserting but I can only wish I was petite).

As for guys, I’m not exactly sure on what his exact type would be since I ship him with a few characters who are completely different from each other, physically and mentally (Eric, Chitose, Bandou, etc).

But in general though, he’s weak for anyone who looks good in red, his favorite color.

When he likes someone, he makes sure that he can do whatever it takes to win them over. Can be a bit persistent at times since he’s stubborn af, but stays within his boundaries and backs off if he notices that the other party is uncomfortable or genuinely not interested.

He can be a bit oblivious when it comes to others crushing on him, but it doesn’t take that long for him to figure it out.

He likes to think that he’s not a jealous person, but when he sees a sweet smile growing on his SO/crush’s face cause of someone else, his jaw noticeably clenches.

Super happy if his s/o gets along with his clansmen, but he gets a little tense when they’re near Chitose cause sometimes he can be a bit too flirty, but he trusts his S/O and Chitose.

Loves to tease his S/O, which can sometimes lead him to be a little fuck boyish.

His relationship with his Kings:

1. Mikoto:

Like the others, he respects Mikoto a lot. But unlike the others, he can’t help but feel a bit uneasy whenever Mikoto’s sharp, amber eyes rest on him.

Which can sometimes make him feel upset, like how can I be a HOMRA member if I can’t even look at my King without feeling nervous?

Sometimes though, he thinks back to the night when HOMRA had to save him & Bandou from getting killed due to his reckless ass.

He can’t help but remember how Kusanagi briefly compared Mikoto to him, which didn’t mean anything back then cause he was ready to pass out from all that blood loss.

But it kinda makes him feel better to know that at least there’s one thing he has in common with his king: that they both can easily get corrupted by their power in the name of good. He likes to think of it as a special bond that connects them but he’s pretty sure there are other members who relate to the sentiment.

Somedays, he can’t help but notice how Mikoto is just there. Like yeah, he is a very powerful presence, but it doesn’t really seem like he’s there with them. He just doesn’t seem to care about what goes on, which doesn’t really fit the image of a king at all, at least from what he knows. Shit, if he was a King, God knows the havoc he would create.

Sometimes he wants to talk to his King and get to know him better, maybe even cheer him up. But he immediately rejects the idea and goes back to his own little group with the other alphabet boys.

He is just a clansmen, after all.

2. Anna:

Despite initially thinking that she was a weird brat, he genuinely came to love and care for her as the little sister he never had.

He takes her out for shopping w/e Kusanagi & Totsuka are unavailable.

Loves to bring her toys & candies whenever he can.

They both share a mutual appreciation for the color red, a bit more than the other members.

When Anna first became King, he wasn’t really sure on how to feel.

Like great, HOMRA is back together, but can she really be our King?

He, along with a few others, genuinely believes that they should be protecting Anna, not the other way around.

Especially with her tragic past, she needs to protected. Being a King will only cause more danger.

Also, despite all his denials, his ego is a little hurt that the leader of a street gang is a 12 year old girl.

But him & the rest of HOMRA eventually come to understand that Anna is capable of taking care of herself, she is their King for a reason.
