hi cove, ik i literally just sent a msg to you but i wanted to say i understand how you feel abt your writing. as a writer myself (not on here, tho that one thing i mentioned to you has been on my mind after i finished MoA) i completely understand feeling bitter about your writing. it’s something i’m reminded of a lot nowadays with my progress in post secondary. we are our own harshest critics. if we don’t like a certain part of our work, the entire thing just falls flat.

i want to highlight the importance of focusing on the good in each piece of your writing. since the tail end of january you’ve created a mini community, your own small corner of the internet with at least 400 people! wanna guess how many days ago january 27 was? 47. 400 people in 47 days because of you and your wit and your good writing because that’s what it is. keep doing what you’re doing. acknowledge that you’re doing pretty good. feel a bit of pride. you deserve it.

Ughhhhhhhh I can just like. Feel myself getting more depressed again and I hate thissssssssss I know I should be trying to do things keep myself occupied at least just a little bit but nothing is interesting and the weather's shit out and I hate living here and there's nothing to do here anyway and I'm so alone here and just stopppppppp shut up oh my god I'm so tired of this like we've explored everything narratively this approach has to offer it's well-trod ground you know really beating a dead horse at this point it's just gotten old it's derivative do something more interesting with yourself. I wonder how much of this is my brain and how much of it is having to go back to work soon.
