“I need you here yesterday!”
“What?” You whisper-shout, looking around the office to make sure no one noticed you ducking away to take a call from your best friend.
“Please, I'm desperate! I can't do this alone, they're like sharks and I just spilled blood!”
“Kate, what the hell are you talking about?”
“Yelena's family! They're scary as shit on a good day, but now we messed up real bad, and I think they're gonna decapitate me,” she whines.
“Okay, let's backtrack. What did you do?”
“...”
“Kate?”
There's shuffling on the other side, a deep sigh and then, “Melina found the handcuffs. With the fur. They were still attached to the bed.”
You snort, loud enough to attract annoyed looks from your coworkers. “Happens to the best of-”
“And the whip. It was on the bed too.”
You chortle, this time not caring about your surroundings, and swiftly move further down the hall. “She knows Yelena's a big girl, she can ha-”
“Natasha was there too!”
You stop in your tracks. Now that's interesting.
“She'll never let you forget it,” you say with all the confidence you have, even though you've never met the woman before. You know just enough from what Kate and Yelena told you to be sure of that.
“She's not letting me forget it now! She got all sneaky and secretive, whispering with Melina and looking at me, and now I'm on my way to a family dinner. A family dinner with my girlfriend's family, while said girlfriend got called away on some emergency mission,” she huffs angrily.
“There's no emergency mission, is there?”
“There better be!”
You chuckle, shaking your head. It's never a boring day with Kate Bishop.
“So,” she starts, aiming for a nonchalant tone, “I'm downstairs.”
“What?”
“Yep. Waiting for you at the front. Better hurry, parking is expensive as hell.”
“Kate.”
“I'm your bestie. And my girlfriend's mom found the handcuffs. I need you.”
You check the time, noting that the workday is nowhere near it's end. With a sigh, you head for the elevator, not even bothering to come back for your bag.
“I love you.”
“I haven't agreed to-”
“I know what that sigh means!”
You groan. “Yeah, yeah. You owe me.”

Turns out, Yelena's family is even scarier then you imagined.
“So, Y/n,” Melina starts, looking at you like you're one of her lab rats, “Do you usually leave your… sexual… stuff after you're done?”
You turn red, choking on the wine. Kate sends you a look of pity.
Natasha smirks.
“I don't… I'm not sure- Um. Well, no.”
Melina hums, nodding to herself. “Good.”
She digs into her food, and you exhale in relief, feeling like the worst part is over.
“So where do you keep your stuff, Y/n?” Natasha asks over the rim of her glass, her eyes full of mischief.
Kate slides lower in her seat, boring holes into her fork.
Melina perks up, once again regarding you like one of her subjects. “I would also like to know. To pass the advice to my daughter and her girlfriend.”
You gulp.
“Well?” Natasha prompts.
You shudder from the intensity of the look she's giving you.
“Can we move on?” Kate whispers, looking around nervously.
“Yes, of course,” Melina nods, her eyes lighting up like she was waiting for a subject change.
Natasha sends Kate an amused smile, and you relax slightly. Now the worst part is over, you're sure.
“So, Y/n-”
Fuck.
“-are you single?”
You nod, shoving a forkful of some meat salad - which mostly consists of mayonnaise - to avoid talking.
“And you're gay, correct?” Melina asks, peering into your very soul.
You nod again, chewing fast.
“Why are you gay?”
You choke on a piece of potato, wheezing and reaching for a glass of water. Kate almost falls of her chair in haste to smack you on the back. Natasha just looks at her mother, unimpressed. “Really?”
“What?” Melina shrugs. “I'm a scientist, I'm conducting research.”
The redhead groans, rubbing her eyes. “Of course.”
You feel a little better now that Natasha is annoyed.
Melina still looks at you, expecting an answer.
You sigh, “Are you gay?”
She blinks, looking like an owl. Natasha chokes on a laugh, sending you a look of appreciation. Kate mutters something about bathroom and darts out of the room, hopefully to call Yelena and fix all this mess.
“Well,” Melina starts, deep in thought. “I suppose I've never given it much of a thought.”
You nod, feeling accomplished in swaying attention from yourself.
“Natasha.” The older woman turns abruptly. “You are gay.”
The redhead groans, sliding down in her seat. “Mother, please.”
“She's gay, and you're gay. You're both miserably single.”
“Huh?” You frown, affronted.
“Fuck my life,” Natasha mumbles into the table, her face pressed tight against it in a feeble effort of disappearing.
“Yelena's on her way!” Kate walks back into the room, triumphant.
“Finally,” you sigh, pointedly looking at the ceiling to avoid Melina's penetrative gaze. “Where's she, by the way?”
“Hiding, probably,” Natasha snorts, shaking her head. “Escaped the scene of crime and left her girlfriend to pick up the mess.” She raises her glass in Kate's general direction, “You're doing good so far, Bishop. Even brought reinforcement - good thinking.”
“Yes-yes,” Melina nods, her eyes darting between you three. “Yelena's a bit of a coward in that regard, but we have an important matter to discuss.”
Natasha glares at her mother. “No, we don-”
“Natasha can cook. Well, she can microwave.”
“What did I miss?” Kate frowns, settling back into her seat. “Actually, no. I don't want to know.”
“As I was saying,” Melina clears her throat, paying no mind to the murderous look Natasha sends her. You'd feel gleeful at that - Natasha's plan came back to bite her in the ass - if you weren't the other victim in this scenario. “Natasha can cook. She's excellent with knives. She's an excellent shot. She can dismantle a bomb in a matter of seconds. She's a… a catch.”
You smile at the miserable expression on Natasha's face, her cheeks dusted with pink.
“Oh…” Kate whispers, looking at you from the corner of her eye. “Well, actually, Y/n is-” she yelps loudly when your heel connects with her toes, and turns bright red at the shooting pain. “-a bitch. She's a bitch.”
The look in Melina's eyes turns gleeful. “That was excellent.”
Fucking hell, no matter what you do, your grave turns deeper and deeper.
Natasha snorts, chugging her wine like it's water. Melina's mouth opens again, and you say a stupid thing to save yourself from further embarrassment.
“Can we go back to Kate's handcuffs, please,” you mutter with a sigh.
The look of betrayal your friend sends you doesn't work the way she intended, because you don't feel guilty at all.
Melina's mouth snaps shut, her eyes widening. The sight alone tells you you said the wrong thing.
“Have you and Kate ever-”
“No!” you both shout, before the older woman can finish the question.
“Sounds defensive,” Natasha chuckles, reaching for the bottle of vodka.
“Wha- What?” You hiss, glaring at the spy.
“She's- Y/n’s not even my type! And I'm not her type either!” Kate splutters.
“Mhm,” Natasha hums, “that I can see.”
You gape, not sure if you're supposed to be offended. “What?”
Natasha smirks, planting her chin on her fist. “You need a firm hand. Your best friend is anything, but firm.”
Her eyes trail down your body, pupils darkening ever so slightly. Your cheeks burn and, suddenly, it's hard to breathe. You clear your throat and gulp down the last of your wine, carefully avoiding her gaze.
“O-okay. That's- okay, yep,” Kate mutters to herself. “Fuck my life.”
“Am I wrong?” Natasha husks, reaching across the table to play with the golden bracelet on your wrist.
Really, right in front of her mother?
The front door opens with a loud bang, and you jump up, relieved to see Yelena. The feeling doesn't last long, because a second later you notice the bleeding wound on her torso.
“So that was an actual mission,” you mumble, missing the way Natasha snorts in your haste to get Yelena to the couch.
Kate looks pale, but swiftly starts helping Yelena undress. Melina's ready with the first aid kid by the time they finally tear off the shirt.
“So?” Natasha whispers into your ear, sending goosebumps down your skin. “Am I wrong?”
Apparently, not even her bleeding sister can stop her.
“No,” you reply, “you're not wrong.”
She hums, satisfied. “I am miserably single, you know?"
You let out a loud laugh, not even bothering to quiet down when Yelena sends you a murderous look.
“I am miserably single, too.”
She smiles, nodding to herself.
“Want to fix that?” She asks after a bit, her eyes glinting in the soft evening light.
“They'll never shut up about it,” you groan, stepping closer to her.
“Yeah,” she hums, her grin stretching wider. “So?”
"A little help?" Yelena wheezes, glaring daggers at the two of you. "Hello? Your sister is dying."
“Yes,” you reply, not taking your eyes away from her green pools.
“Perfect,” she breathes, before pressing a gentle kiss to the corner of your mouth. “I'll pick you up tomorrow at six.”
"Fucking unbelievable," Yelena mutters and yelps when Melina shushes her with a pinch and a hissed "don't ruin my hard work".
Kate just looks like she's about to faint.
You grin. "I can't wait."

Literally just R!Euro with a D!ck piercing...
A/N - Honestly, I could not get this out of my head, so I had to write it. ...I will also be writing one for Charlie Walker and Eddie munson😍🤭 Also, here you go :) @lilith-jae
-It honestly started with Pelle. He had one first. After he got naked in the woods, him and euro were eating lunch or some shit and euro was just like "So... a dick piercing. That was unexpected."
-He then gets convinced by pelle that it's metal as fuck. Now he has to get one.
-Going to get it, he was super fuckin awkward. Like he walked in and it was just like
🤗: HI! What would you like to get pierced today?
☠️: Uhh... I want a uh.. a- a dick piercing
🤗: Haha, okay, which one?
☠️: Th- There's more than one kind?😀🤨
- He is lowkey shaking and so visibly nervous. Taking deep breaths to try and calm himself down.
- Definitely let's out a rough groan when the piercing happens. "Oh fuck-". It's a groan of pain. Get your mind out of the gutter😀
- He doesn't tell anyone about it once he gets it. Not even Pelle. He just kinda... has it now. Even when he starts liking a certain girl [Who he swears is definitely not you (yes it is)], he doesn't tell her. He's worried she'll think it's weird or something.
- Thinks about taking it out the first couple days. It's too annoying having to clean it and it hurts like a bitch if it ever got caught on his pants and moved, still unhealed.
- All of that was until you brought up a topic while you two got high together... ✨️Dick piercings✨️
Okay, it's didn't start as just "✨️dick piercings✨️" , it started as a conversation about how you thought he'd look good with piercings. You said it randomly after he had finished talking, and it kinda caught him off guard. "Y'know, you'd look really good with a piercing." He raised a brow, confused. "A piercing? What- What Piercing?" You look at him for a second and then replied "You'd look really fucking good with a tongue piercing. Y'know, just like a normal surface one? Girls would fucking love that."
After he heard that, he paused. Should he tell you? Would you think it's weird? I mean a dick piercing is way different than a tongue piercing. But his high brain doesn't fucking care and his mouth moved too fast.
"I mean, I have my dick pierced."
He blurts it out like it's fucking nothing. He lets a out a breathy laugh as he says it. You'd think it's cause he's being nonchalant and doesn't fuckin care about what he's telling you. But, oh my days, is this man going insane inside. That laugh was to hide how fucking terrified he was right now. How the fuck were you supposed to reply to that?
You heard that and got absolutely blown back. What did this man just say? "What kind?" He was 100% expecting that to be the least possible reply from you. How the fuck did you know there was more than one kind and he didn't? Honestly, why did you even know dick piercing were a thing much less be able to know what different types there are? He arched a brow "Uh- It's a frenum."
Fuck.
Now it all setting in. Your high brain fully took over and that was all you could think about. How could this man get any fucking hotter? You face heats up thinking about it. Fuck. I mean, he'd still look good with a tongue piercing but... fuck. If you wanted to see this man with any piercing, it'd be a frenum. Fuck. Say something. "Oh... hm." Fuck.
He gets scared. To cover it up, he lets out another breathy laugh "Yeah, I know, it's weird-" He was gonna continue talking, he was gonna explain to you why he did it and who led him to make that stupid decision. But then you cut him off. "It's not weird." He lifts a brow again, looking as if he's expecting you to continue. And you just start to ramble. "I mean, I wouldn't get a genital piercing. I'm way too sensitive and scared of pain for that. I cant imagine how much it fuckin sucked. But I do think they're cool! Like honestly, good for you for being able to get that."
He gives a confused smile "Uhm, thanks." And you just have to keep fucking going. "Frenums look super good too, like they're hot as fuck." Girl, how many hits did you take? Why are you still yapping? "I mean I've never really met anyone with a frenum before, ive never actually SEEN one, but I've seen pictures." Stop talking. Shush.
This man is going back in his forth in his mind trying to decide what to do, what to say for a minute or so. Both of you just sitting there, not looking at each other anymore, you fidgeting with your hands, him looking at the floor. Until finally he turns his head over to you again; And I don't think either of you expected him to say what he says next. "Do you wanna see it?"

he.. he doesn't like getting water in his eyes, honestly who would though. immediately dries himself up once he gets water in his eyes.. now you have to say sorry with kisses all over his face while he's just sitting here coddled up in a towel, you giggle at him from time to time. but you really want him to go back don't you? with a bunch of pleading and pecks, he'll finally agree.
you two are just sitting near by the shore collecting really pretty shells, and for the ones that aren't that pretty, you both just throw it far into the sea again.. he may or may not have hit leo with a shell accidentally, at least you thought it was an accident..? leos going home with a small bruise on the side of his forehead now.
he's the photographer™ but of course he'll have his solo pics too! which was obviously taken by you, tried his best to look good in those photos because he wants to impress you and his fans! but, he always looks good in photos, izumi pointed out that 'why was he trying to look better than usual' and, 'are you trying to impress s/o?' and well, it was definitely working.

the most dramatic mf here, he's only there for a tan!! one time, leo threw sand at him and it some bits accidentally went in his mouth sorry izumi! that's how he ended up swimming, doesn't want his hair wet too! but izumi, what's life without a bit of fun? you tried telling him that, he'll just get a sunburn when he's gonna tan himself! he had wished he'd listen to you, after you both went home, every part of his upper body hurt.
sometimes he let's you get on his back— not shoulder! just because you light in water, not that ur heavy when he's carrying you, it's just easier like that, at trust me, he's carried you lots of times before, right? he's just in denial when you confront him about it, don't worry.
this man.. also hates when sand gets in his slippers. he finds it super annoying, because when he gets in the car— sand is gonna be all over! and, he doesn't wanna pay for carwash as well. not like he minds, he's rich, but he thinks its better not to. so, you better bring an extra water bottle for his dramatic ass. he also definitely tries to impress you with his looks let's be honest— also in denial about it.

he's the one dragging you to swim this time! if you don't want to, he's just going to whine and whine— “pleaseee, [name]?” while grabbing your wrist to pull you to the sea. when he finally successes, he's going to be splashing you! everytime you look back at him, there's suddenly— boom, another wave of water hits you! leooo :(! thinks it's cute when you whine at him as if he wasn't whining at you earlier.
definitely brings a ball to the beach, tsukasa hit him with a shell once, right? leo hits the ball at him while he was collecting shells. i guess they're both going home with a little bruise. but in the end, izumi scolds then both while they pout. definitely tried drowning you for fun!— and you were like, “???BITCH???” i mean.. he's seen your family members do it so why not? apologizes after of course— but would never do it again if you didn't have fun.
trauma experience 100%. fun? 100% also apologizes and takes a bath with you once you get home, he washes your hair too! can get a bit touchy though:) you have to slap his hand away for him to quit it— but after that, he's definitely fast asleep, he's wasted a lot of energy, he needs energy to compose later too!

also there for a tan, but not for long— she knows she'll get sunburn once she's there for a long time, take notes, izumi! but once naru gets in the water, she's pretty playful and smiley! who wouldn't wanna see her smile? just little splashes there and then! definitely has a water fight with leo for fun!
she likes collecting shells as well! one time she found a crab and she shrieked. ooooh, you two definitely play volleyball right around the corner, maybe with some of the knights members too! accidentally hit ritsu with the ball while he was sleeping on the sand.. sorry ritsu..! but he.. he didn't wake up? did he pass out in his sleep? or was he just dreaming? also.. she definitely wants to make those little shell necklaces with you, that's why she wants to collect shells!
oh!— and, she made those little 'notes in a jar' i don't know what it's called, once a long time ago, but then, you both saw it, and she already forgot what was inside, so you two opened it and saw a little note of reassurance <3, you both were smiling when leo snatched it and read it out loud as you were trying to chase him while arashi was just laughing at you both.

he only gets in the water for a little while.. only after sleeping in the car though! you and the knights definitely buried him in sand once as a good morning gift <3 he was furrowing his eyebrows when he woke up while all of you were just laughing at him, he did have a hard time getting up.
.. he's definitely getting revenge later. and by revenge— i mean, him clinging on to you when you both get home since he's gonna be super tired, maybe smothering you in kisses there and then, but back to the topic! once he's in the water he's definitely just gonna be floating around with his eyes closed.. you may or may not have tried to drown him.
once he sank and rised up he started coughing while you were laughing. oh.. you really regreted that after he chased you across the shore. after that— you two were worn out, just panting and gasping for air. never doing that again, but most importantly, you, ritsu and all the knights enjoyed!

"I told you guys we were gonna be late!" Penelope looks at the guys so they end up having to get a shuttle van to get to the bus and they could tell others didn't like them.
"I hope you don't mind I took this seat." Penelope tells the guy sitting next to her.
"Oh, it's fine. My group is three of us so they're sitting up there together." He tells her.
"There's five of us as you could tell when we got in late. I told them we would be." She laughs, "I'm Penelope." She puts her hand out.
"Fabian." He shakes her hand, "You on vacation with family? Boyfriend? Friends?" He asks.
"Friends. It was my birthday a few days ago so they invited me on the trip. They're all YouTubers so our entire trip will be shown." She explains to him.
"Oh, what's the channel?" He pulls out his phone to look them up.
"It will be on TFIL but Sam and Colby have their channel and each their one and then itsCoreyScherer." She tells him.
"You don't have one?"
"No, I'm thinking of making one for fun. I'm just a model." She tells him.
"I'm a model too."
"That's cool." She laughs so they look each other up and chat.
Penelope has a distinct giggle so when the four hear her they look over to see her chatting with Fabian. Automatically Sam and Corey looked over to where Colby was sitting with Elton, and sure enough he looked annoyed looking at the guy she was talking to.
"Oh, he's going to be so protective off this bus." Sam shakes his head facing forward.
Corey gets on his phone and goes to Penelope's Instagram to see who the guy is because he looks at her followings. He goes through the guy's a bit before showing Sam something, "He knows Darwin."
"How well?" Sam looks at the phone.
"Celebrate birthdays together." Corey answers.
"Oh, we are screwed if Colby goes snooping like you did." Sam glances back to see Colby on his phone, "We might be.."
And Sam was right, they were going to be screwed because Colby was snooping as well. It didn't take him long at all to find the post with the two guys celebrating a birthday. Colby was fuming deep down. Did this guy know she dated Darwin or did he not know.
"There's no way..." Colby speaks out loud.
"No way for what?" Elton asks him.
"He has to know Penelope dated Darwin. The guy she's talking to is his friend."
"Why does that matter?" Elton asks confused.
"Because Darwin is a piece of shit and anyone who is his friend has to be too." Colby watches the two talk.
"Colby, do you have a secret thing for Penelope?" Elton asks him, "Because I mean, I would understand. She's not unattractive and you know her really well." He tells him.
Colby just gives him a look, "No, I don't Elton. You and everyone thinks I do but I don't. Penelope is just my friend and that's all she'll ever be. Plus you know what my type is. You've seen the girls I talk to and hook up with. Penelope is nowhere near them." He tells him not realizing he was getting a little loud trying to make Elton think he didn't like Penelope.
When the bus arrives Penelope and the guys stand together and Fabian had his group stand next to them so they could chat.
"Are you going to be okay not to laugh?" Colby asks Penelope so she looks at him.
"I'll be fine." She says sassy since she heard what he said on the bus.
Being led to the village they had all the guys do something together so Colby gives Penelope the camera to film them. When they were done she gives it back to him without saying a word to him. She was hurt by his words. He would always talk her up and then compares her to the girls he likes because she's nowhere near how they look.
"You okay? Since we got off the bus you've seen upset." Fabian walks with Penelope.
"My head suddenly started to hurt." She lies to him, "I get bad headaches randomly." She tells him which was actually true.
"Sissy, come here." Corey reaches out to pull her to join them.
Elton picks Sam and Corey to volunteer them to play a game with two other girls. Corey ends up winning and Penelope applauds him.
Afterwards, they got a little performance and it was nice to watch before eating. Fabian had his group sit with Penelope's so Colby was annoyed that they had to be by them. He really didn't like it when they all had to hold hands. For Colby, it was because Fabian was holding Penelope's hand and for Penelope, it was because he had to hold Colby's hand.
At the end of the whole visit, the four guys wander off while Penelope goes to the bus, "They're going to miss the bus if they horse around out there." She takes a seat next to Fabian.
"Boy will be boys." He laughs, "You feeling any better?" He asks as he gets a message on Snapchat and Penelope couldn't help but look and was surprised to see her ex snap him.
The snap said; You're with my ex in New Zealand?
"Sorry for looking but you know Darwin?" She asks him.
"I've known him since we were one year old so yeah." He chuckles.
"He's never talked to you about me when we were together?" She tilts her head.
"Actually, I knew who you were when you walked on the bus with Elton, Corey, Sam, and Colby. I didn't want to seem creepy so I pretended not to know you." He explains to her.
"I'm sorry but I find that a tad more creepier that you pretended not to know me." She lets him know.
"I'm sorry." He said as the guys rushed onto the bus.
"Idiots." She tells them as they walk to the back of the bus.
"Thanks for leaving us." Corey messes up her hair while Colby eyes, Fabian.
"I can see why Darwin didn't trust Colby from the start." Penelope just looks at him, "And you after a while. You're with Colby yet you're flirting with me."
"Flirting with you? I've only been nice to you." She says shocked, "Wow..." She gets up going to find an empty seat.
When they get off the bus going back to the RV, Colby tries talking to Penelope while they were alone inside. The other three were playing around outside talking about their trip today. "You were quiet today." He says as she changes clothes up in the bunk with the curtain closed.
She wanted to keep it to herself but she couldn't as she got down, "You're a piece of shit, Colby. You always talk me up when I feel down about myself telling me not to compare myself to other pretty girls. Yet you tell Elton I'm not your type because I'm nowhere near them. I mean, it's okay that I'm not your type but the way you put me down."
"Penelope... I-,"
She cuts him off, "What? Sorry?" She laughs.
"I didn't mean it."
"Then why say that!" She shouts at him and he has no idea what to say at the moment so she walks out while the guys walk in looking at him.
Sam changes clothes before going outside to see Penelope sitting on a curb. He takes a seat next to her and pulls her into his side to rub her back, "I'm sure didn't mean it in that way." He tells her.
"Well, he's not wrong. I don't compare to the girls he talks to and hooks up with. Who knows if Tyson or Darwin were ever attracted to me. Maybe they just wanted one thing because they talked so bad about me afterward." She moves out of Sam's touch.
"You're not unattractive Penelope, trust me. And for starters, your exes are assholes, that's why they talk bad about you." He lets her know.
"As I always say, you and Colby just stay stuff like that because you're my friends."
"No, I say that because I know you're attractive. You know, I was this close to asking you out before Tyson did." He shows her with his fingers, "Then when you guys broke up I didn't try to shoot my shot because I saw I was nowhere near your type. Tyson was a good-looking guy and I was nowhere near that."
"You liked me then?" She laughs, "You should have saved me from all that crap with Tyson, you asshole." She playfully shoves him.

"Also just because you think Tyson was good-looking and you were nowhere near him in looks... doesn't mean I didn't think you were too. I would have easily picked you over him." She lets him know with a smile.
"That makes part of me happy." He laughs as he sees Colby come over to them. "Just see what he has to say." Sam tells her before getting up so Colby takes a seat.
"I said what I said so Elton would stop asking me questions. I just snapped. Everyone always asks if I have a thing for you because I care about you and how close we are. I just said whatever to get him to shut up. I swear." He tells her.
"I wish you said it quietly."
"I wish I said it quietly too. You know I hate hurting your feelings. Do you forgive me?" He looks at her hands.
"I forgive you."

Headcanons about Maevelander pls?
uhhh well ok! generally speaking my headcanons are just the overall vibes and then a lot of specific scenarios or moments that they mightve had earlier in their relationship. some of which i've put into fics already... some of which i just post about silly sometimes... maybe let me see if i can mine some old shitposts from twitter for this
to me, maeve and homelander in their "good years" were menaces together. and by menaces i mean they were beloved by the public and extremely profitable for vought but totally INSUFFERABLE to everyone else working with them. like the 2 strongest beings in the world but they're on the same page and full of themselves with celebrity?? it would be sooo bad.
on that note i may have said on here before that i believe in those prime years homelander and maeve were fucking everywhere. constantly. in scenic/ridiculous locations he could fly them to, yes, but also all over the vought building
i have a vision of them fucking in madelyn's office specifically on madelyn's desk to "get back at her" for some silly thing that made them both annoyed like idk her not putting as much money into their oscar campaigns one year or something. homelander goin at maeve and she's like "hold back we're gonna break the desk" and he's like "why does that matter" and maeve says "cuz then she'll get a new one"
i dont have a superduper detailed headcanon for homelander's upbringing but one tidbit i imagine that maybe i'll flesh out in a fic some day if i can muster it is.. i love the idea that at some point when he was a teen and acting out/desperate for the Touch of a Woman, madelyn or vogelbaum or someone told him almost like a fairytale of a girl out there in the world almost as strong as him, just like him, and he would meet her some day, and give him little tidbits about her, not like her full life story but just eough that he imagines this perfect fairytale princess maggie in his head so that by the time he actually meets Maeve he's like already in love with the idea of her in his head
and as a consequence of that i think homelander is actually quite patient in seducing her like he's charming and pushy but not TOO pushy in that way that he can be because in his mind it's inevitable they will end up together and live happily ever after. and due to this charming and not steamrollery approach, that's what leads maeve to actually fall for him in the early days
obviously as they both get to know the true person of each other over the years the illusion falls apart but yeah I think that pull of "this is the one other person like me, the one person who understands me, we're destined to be together" would be reallllly intoxicating (and maybe also comforting??) for both of them
yeah idk this is a bunch already i definitely have more like scenarios and such in my head and also some thoughts about madelyn's role in engineering this relationship but also maybe regretting it down the line... maybe for other posts

OBX s4 ideas?
• flashbacks throughout the season of stuff we missed between the time jump. maybe show us some jiara missing scenes, show us jarah starting up their surf shop
• Rafe full villain mode now. with Ward being dead, there's no way Rafe won't blame Sarah (who he instructed to keep his father safe). I feel like Rafe will either go completely nuts or take a 360 turn as a good guy. good guy feels unlikely. he'll probably get that arc once he's done some more horrible things in the name of his father
• vengeful Topper on Team!Rafe since ya boys now a full fledged arsonist tsk tsk
• Kie and JJ are together, but they're gonna have a rocky season OR they're not together and we have to watch them work stuff out to go back to each other again. considering we already watched all s3 will they/won't they my guess is just a rocky season. jarah has been through too much for them to be the rocky relationship anymore and JJ is too damaged for their not to be difficulties to overcome. Kie's parents, for one.
• jiara still be jiara. super casual about it all when with the pogues because they're still best friends, only when they're alone they get into a little more trouble ;)
• the pogues all dealing with a little bit of a identity crisis. they're rich but still pogues and still treated like pogues for the most part, and they'll have to figure out where they fit in now as young adults
• this is a longshot but always my dream: JJs mom comes back and turns out that Sarah and JJ are siblings
• they'll a be dealing with adulthood now and it'll be weird for them. jiara and jarah will have to face how to be in a mature relationship where they both have jobs and lives, and they'll have to now deal with their careers getting in the way of treasure hunting rather than school and parents
• JJ is going to try really hard not to screw stuff up with Kie and act on his natural self destructive tendencies and I think s4 might really focus on how damaged JJ really is, having to face those demons head on if he wants to really be with Kie.
• I would do anything for some pure full-pogue crew scenes, all of them just together and living life, dancing, laughing on JJs new boat
• Kie will still be working things out with her parents. she'll probably have some serious trust issues and probably a lot of fights.
• Jarah gets legally married. I would CRY for a Jarah wedding oh my god. And JJ and Pope the groomsmen and Sarah and Cleo the bridesmaids and JJ crying as John B gives his vows ALSO crying and Pope's dad marries them 😭😭 I literally would cry so hard it needs to happen.
• and meanwhile they'll still be trying to find Blackbeards treasure, which I am excited about because it isn't a personal treasure to find at this point. they're literally just looking for it because they love the hunt and they're a bunch of adrenaline junkies. there's no "if we don't find it I'll die of starvation" or "it belonged to my family legacy" mentality connected to it, so it makes the opportunity for seeing other characters growth much easier. I'm excited
• the Pogues being like official treasure hunters now, and JJ makes jokes about their new team name (bad ones only) and acts like they need to do a vlog and share it to the world.
• John B rebuilds the chateau with his new fortune and the Pogues still do most their hanging out there. JJ lives in his boat but he also docks it at John Bs dock and spends most his time annoying Sarah and John B, who I predict live together
• this season will likely happen the summer before Pope goes off to school, so directly after s3 ends. OBX is known for taking three months max in a time span for a season and Pope going to school will complicate things. if the show got a s5, they would either have to time jump AGAIN or only take place in the summer so Pope will still be there for the treasure hunting.
• Cleo and Pope will have to figure out what they really mean to each other, since Pope is going to school. my guess is the break up because of him leaving, but by the end they decide that's stupid and get back together.

Dear Sephiroth: (a letter to a fictional character, because why not) #60
I rested for most of the day today. And mostly for real this time! It was beautiful!
After waking up this morning, I tried to play Pokemon. Unfortunately, I have executive dysfunction (this is part of being AuDHD), which means that sometimes I have a lot of trouble starting tasks even when they're fun ones. It's super annoying like that. So instead of waking up and immediately going to play Pokemon like a sane person, instead I floundered around for an hour or two, doomscrolling (or hopequesting? I've heard it referred to like that) uselessly.
…Truth be told, I keep looking for any news about you. I keep looking for any indication that you'll be safe. I'm worried about you almost all the time, and the fact that there's nothing I can do to help you besides write these silly letters is more painful than I know how to describe.
Oh well. Today I supposed that if I wanna rest properly, I've gotta let my brain flounder around from time to time without putting pressure on it to do something else. And that's kinda hard to do. It feels like I'm wasting time when I get stuck in that kind of mental paralysis. But if I beat myself up over it, that's just gonna make it worse. So I tried to go with the flow without worrying too terribly much about what the "correct" way to spend my time looks like.
I can't help but wonder if you ever struggle with any of what I've described. Hm.
In the end, I was able to play Pokemon for a little bit. And then M woke up and wanted to play Core Keeper together with me, and that was lovely. I built a huge, sprawling garden that waters itself and grows lots of tasty food! It's almost like Terraria, except it's from a top-down perspective instead of a side-scrolling perspective. It's still in early access, but it's still a lot of fun for a game that isn't finished cooking yet! I'm eager to see how this one develops!
Sometime after that, I had company over. The same friend who made me aware that the pumpkin soup needed more umami came over with her lovely son. They've been having a hard time lately, and it came to a head recently with something very serious. So they came to my house for support, advice, and refuge from the stress for a little while. We made sure to feed them good food and provide a space in which they don't have to feel pressured to exist in a particular way. My friend's son showed me his wonderful sketchbook and all of the awesome pictures he took on his phone; it was beautiful! As I'm writing this, my friend's son is at ease playing some video game on our TV, and my friend is out on a walk with J; I hope they're having a wonderful time!
My friend is having a bit of a hard time trying not to beat herself up over the way things turned out, as well as for the fact that neither she nor her situation are perfect. So I decided to give her the bowl I repaired, after explaining to her the context of what it means. I'm hoping that she'll put it in a spot in her house where she can see it regularly, so that she can be reminded that we are at our most beautiful when we do the work to turn our imperfections into strengths, and that beating ourselves up is counterproductive. The bowl will do the most good where it can remind someone of their humanity. I hope she will eat lots of wonderful and tasty soup from this bowl, and from it, remember to be gentle with herself.
I like that my house is a place where the people in my social circle feel is safe to go when they're having trouble. My life before was very weird, turbulent, and unsafe, but… now I have a house that is wholesome and safe. I know that I still have a very long way to go before I'm as "healed" as I'd like to be, but… I like to think it means I'm doing some things right at least some of the time. I feel very privileged to be in a position where I am trusted this much by the people who know me well.
I wish you could visit over here, too. Impossible, I know. But… you would be safe here. You wouldn't have to pretend to be someone you're not while you're in my house. You would not be pressured to interact with anyone if you didn't want to. No one would ogle you. No one would be demanding pictures or autographs. There would be only wholesome food, good tea, comfy places to sleep, and lots of fun and awesome things to do. You can just be you. Because my house is a safe place of rest for those who need it.
Hey, Sephiroth? Please keep yourself safe out there at the Edge of Creation, okay? Make good choices, and take good care of yourself. It might be impossible for you to ever visit my house, but you can build your own house with your own two hands, and you can build it up into something that is wholesome and safe, no matter how weird things have been for you in the past or even in the present, especially if you ask for help from kind, loving, and healthy people to make it happen.
Remember that you are loved. I'll write to you again soon.

I'm gonna stick to Skipper, Cherry, Orca and Zefron since they're the only ones I have planned out XD (I might add other ocs if I remember something about them)

Skipper: He would try to hide it and be dismissive about it whenever it is brought up, he starts to distance himself from the person he's gotten feelings for, acting more awkward because he doesn't know how to deal with love, especially since he's never gotten the chance to.... I mean, he has, but he lost that person before he could fully realise he had feelings for them, which is why he makes himself be so dismissive of the feelings, he associates the feeling of love with tragedy. So if he starts being angrier or dismissive of you, slowly parting ways (he isn't downright cruel or bullies you, ew, just starts being more distance, it will seem he hates you though 💀💀), but on the flip side, he'll try to make you happy in other ways to compensate his lack of presence, you won't know that it's him, but small gifts and keeping bad luck from reaching you from the background, if you feel "very lucky today" and you know him, it might be him.
Cherry: she's usually flirty and seductive as default, the moment she starts treating you kinder and more soft romantic rather and sexy romantic (like buying flowers and gifts, remembering things you've told her, etc.), yeah, she head over heals for you, she'll still act flirty and teasing, that's just how she is, but add to it, ya know?
If she stops acting flirty with you all together besides a few jokes though, she sees you as family/a friend (which is the case for Skipper, who she sees as a little brother)
Orca: he becomes a tsundere, I don't think there is any other way to put it lmao
Zefron: I'm pretty sure he might be aromamtic, cuz I can't imagine him catching feelings XD despite me being a hopeless romantic and making pairings for all, I just imagine him with Orca forever but in a platonic bromance way (I say this as an aromantic person who struggles understating romance lol)

Skipper: He thinks Emperor is too good for him, he's simply amazing but also he's really stupid, which is strangely endearing, he first found him arrogant and a rich, privileged prick
But as he got to know him, he found his determination to be a better leader admirable and he finds little things he does like be super curious and excited sbout minute (to him at least) things such as cooking and such.
In other words, he finds his curiosity and determination to be admirable and he loves that about him, makes him almost want to be better himself
Orca: Now, I haven't thought a lot about him and Ocho, I'll be honest, it's only been him and Zefron in my mind (I almost wanna pair them together as a queen platonic relationship istg, Orca isn't aromantic tho)
So I'll be talking about the two fir both scenarios
He finds Ocho annoying, really annoying, but at the same time he, begrudgingly, finds it cute when he tries to be all tough, he also likes how strong Ocho is, being a trained soldier himself plus a grizzco worker, he finds that to be a good quality in someone
And Zefron....yeah, Orca is a moronsexual I'll just say that, he likes em dumb sometime XD everytime Zefron does something stupid he's like "fuck yes, but also don't eat that-"

It's never a peaceful day at the Miya household. The first thing in the morning is getting whacked with a pillow from your Brother.
“WAKE UP Y/N WE'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR THE FIELD TRIP” Tsumu yells at the top of his lungs
“ALRIGHT ALRIGHT IM AWAKE jeez” you say annoyed
“C'mon we've been waiting forever for this” Samu said
“We still have an hour though” you whine to which Tsumu glares at you
“You take forever in the shower” he replied
“I DO NOT”
“DO TO”
“DO NOT”
“Enough arguing both of you or your all gonna be late” you hear your mother say
“Fine” you both grumble
“Just another typical day” your mother sighed
You finish taking a shower and head straight to the dining room to see Oikawa and Iwaizumi sitting at the table across your brothers so you sat in between Iwaizumi and Oikawa
“Oh hello princess you're looking pretty as always” Oikawa says smugly you blush
“Thank you Kawa” you smile
“STOP CALLING HER THAT” Tsumu and Samu both yelled
“What? Don't you think she's pretty” he fakes a gasp while you snicker
“WHAT NO” they say in unison
“Hey hey now focus on eating and not on pointless arguing” your dad sighed sipping his coffee while reading his newspaper
“Dad, how could you let him say that” Tsumu whined while Samu nodded in agreement
“What? is it wrong for me to think my daughter is beautiful” he teased pretending to be oblivious to Tsumus question
“You know what I mean” Tsumu said while your dad chuckled
“Just finish breakfast already” he scolded returning to reading his newspaper
After you finished breakfast and waved bye to your parents you five walked to school well more like your brothers having a stare down with Oikawa
“Looks like they're at it again” Iwaizumi whispers as you sigh
“It's gonna be worse at the bus if we won't be allowed to sit at the back”
“You can sit with me” he smiled
“Your not gonna hear the end of it from them” you giggle
“I'm not scared of them” he scoffed
“HEY WE CAN HEAR YOU” they say in unison
“Sorry Iwa-chan we may be friends but I'm sitting next to princess” he said while Iwaizumi scoffs
“You make me laugh she's not sitting with you” Tsumu glared
“As if you she'll sit with you” Samu said
You sigh as you look at the time

“WE’RE GONNA BE LATE” you panic as the four of them join you in running to the school as fast as your two feet could take you
“THIS IS YOUR FAULT TRASHYKAWA” Tsumu yelled
“NO IT'S YOURS” he yelled back
“JUST SHUT UP AND KEEP RUNNING” you tell
Luckily you arrived just before they were about to leave
“There they are” your teacher said relieved
“I thought I said yesterday to arrive 10 minutes early” she scolded
“Sorry” you all say
“It's alright at least you made it before we left” she said
You all get on to see the very back of the bus empty you sigh in relief
“Now you don't have to fight on who gets to sit with me” you smile as you sat down they nodded as they sat next to you
Looks like being late was a blessing in disguise
You all arrive at the zoo
“Alright before we go in we need to set some rules alright?” Your teacher said as you all nodded
“Always stick to your group and don’t touch the animals unless there's an adult supervising you alright? We're all gonna meet here at the entrance at exactly 2:00pm” You all nodded and everyone left to go in groups
As soon as everyone left to explore chaos begun
“Where should we go” you asked
“She said we could explore wherever as long as we're in our group” Samu replied
“Looks like those two already decided on where to go” Iwaizumi said as he pointed to Tsumu and Oikawa
“We should go see the foxes” Tsumu said
“Foxes are boring let's go see the snakes” Oikawa replied
“You like the snakes cuz you act like one” he yelled as Oikawa gasped
“YOU TAKE THAT BACK” he said angrily
“Relax we're all gonna take turns to go anywhere we want” you said
“Fine” they both replied
You dragged them to see the horses
“Maybe the foxes wouldn't have been as boring as this” Oikawa grumbled as Tsumu nodded
“You shouldn't have argued then” Samu said nonchalantly
“Can we go somewhere else” they both whined
“I'm not done talking with the horse” you say as you patted the horse’s head
They both continued to whine until you finally agreed to go somewhere else
It was Iwaizumi’s turn and he took you all to see the lizards
“Woah look at that lizard its changing colors” Tsumu says amazed
“That's a chameleon stupid” Samu replies while you and Oikawa snicker
“Did ya take us here because Godzilla's a lizard” you ask
“Maybe” he replied
Samu took you all to see the lions
“A-Are you sure we should go here?” You say nervously “Don't lions eat humans?”
“Why are you too chicken” Tsumu snickers
“There's nothing to be afraid of princess cuz I am here” he hugs you as both of your brothers give him death glares
“They're in a cage so I don't think they can get us” Iwaizumi said as he separates both of you
“O-oh right” you say
After exploring the whole zoo you all decided to head back to the meeting area.
“Which way was the entrance?” You asked
“I think it was that way” Tsumu pointed
“Nuh uh it was definitely that way” Oikawa pointed the opposite direction
“Here we go again” Samu sighs
“We’ve got enough time till we meet up so we can go both ways” Iwaizumi said
You ended up going both ways only to end up getting more lost
“We are definitely lost” Samu sighs in frustration
“No thanks to you” Oikawa glares at Tsumu
“WHY YOU—” he says but gets cut by you covering his mouth
“Arguing will get us nowhere lets just ask a security guard” you said
“There’s like no one here though” Iwaizumi said as he looked around
“We are so in trouble if we get there late” you say slightly panicking
“Why don’t we retrace our steps” Oikawa said
“We already tried that StupidKawa” Iwaizumi scoffed as Oikawa glared at him
“Let’s just keep looking around” Samu said
You all finally reached the entrance only to see no one there
“THEY LEFT US” Tsumu screamed panicking
“Let's just call mom or dad” Samu said
You all checked your phones but they were all dead
You all proceed to panic
“HOW ARE WE GONNA GET HOME NOW” Oikawa yelled while running around. Iwaizumi proceeded to smack him as he yelped in pain
“You yelling and running around is not helping” he scowled
“There’s no security to help us” you say as you started tearing up
“Hey hey don’t cry I’m sure we’ll be alright” Samu said as he hugged you
“ALRIGHT ARE YOU INSANE” Tsumu yelled as Iwaizumi smacked him
“You aren’t helping” he said getting angrier
Pure chaos is all that happened in the entrance as Oikawa and Tsumu lose their minds from panicking while Iwaizumi scolds them and you were bawling as Samu tried his best to cheer you up.
“What is happening over here” you hear your teacher say
“Huh” you all say
“Why is Y/N crying” she goes over to you and wipes your tears
“We though you left us” Tsumu sighs in relief
“I was looking all over for you five,” she said. You all were now beyond confused
“Isn’t this the entrance” Samu questioned
“It is but the entrance we came from is on the opposite side” You all were at a loss for words
“Let’s just get back” she said as she led you all to the other entrance
You all arrived home after the trip from the bus
“How was school today?” your mother asked
“It’s a long story” Samu sighed
“One heck of a day that's for sure” Tsumu said

His nose </3 I love that its hooked. I also adore his eyebrows and that they're huge And darker than his hair (it's actually a pet peeve of mine when people draw him with blonde eyebrows 💔) And his chin dimple is really cute as well :~)
For his personality... well! To be #Frank all my favourite aspects of Theseus' personality are his negative ones 💕 like I love the positive ones too but I just love that he sucks so bad. But something i find very very cute is that he's super oversensitive and cries easily :~) Zagreus insults him Mildly and his voice is cracking and he sounds like he's holding back tears. I like to think he has a tendency to cry so hard he passes out at times 💞 there's something wrong with him

Mornings:
Theseus has a butterfly ball themed alarm clock. It's very annoying! Asterius tends to smash it to pieces every morning which also means Theseus has to get a new one every night but it's fine.
They brush their teeth. Asterius is usually still half asleep at this time. Dia usually comes in and joins around then, because she hates getting out of bed.
Theseus also plucks out the hairs that grow between his eye brows once his teeth are cleaned </3
They sit down for breakfast. Usually its pancakes made with fresh honey from Theseus' own garden (Dia and Asterius are usually the ones to gather it, though, because Theseus actually has a huge phobia about insects). According to Pliny the Elder, Athenian honey is the best because it's made with thyme <3
Theseus sits down to do Asterius' hair, sometimes Dia helps but usually she crawls back into bed during this time. </3 once Asterius' hair is done, Theseus does his own (or Dia brushes it for him if she's awake enough) and after that they get dressed for the day... unless the champions already know they'll have to battle Zag later (or some other shade), they actually dress in more simple garbs for lazy days. Theseus likes to help Asterius and Dia get dressed even tho neither of them actually need it
Asteriur puts in his nose ring, Theseus paints his horns or otherwise decorates them with jewelry, Dia puts in her earrings and puts on her necklaces... then it's time to head out!
Nights:
They usually decide what to eat for dinner earlier on in the day, or else they'll all be arguing about it when it's actually time to </3 seafood dishes are common (Theseus and Dianthus both prefer fish just in general........... but they also feel really, really weird about the idea of eating beef around Asterius for obvious reasons. Asterius himself doesn't actually care all that much, but it doesn't stop them from disliking the idea of it). Dia cooks because she's the only one who knows how to, but Theseus and Asterius help out with prep and cleaning.
Theseus' extravagant Fit-For-A-Champion home has a pretty massive bath house, so when he wants to wind down he immediately heads in there. Asterius will join him, and Dia will as well, though she's not very into long baths in the same way Theseus is, so at some point she'll just sit on the edge of the thing and talk to them :~)
Theseus um. He likes Oils. You know those stories about fancy nobles who would dip their fingers in rose oil he's that kind of guy. Says it keeps his skin glowing! Asterius doesn't like how the stuff makes his fur feel, though, and Dia just finds it kind of silly, so they usually just sit on Theseus' big couch together while waiting for Theseu to finish up, and Dia will braid Asterius' hair down so its moisture stays locked (a minotaur, after all, cannot wear a bonnet </3). When Theseus is finished up he comes and gets a little pouty (half playful, half serious) that Dia finished up Asterius' hair without him.
Theseus is usually the first to fell asleep 😠he has a Lot of energy, of course, but he also does lot of stuff!! And so when he's tired he's conked out. Asterius doesn't mind carrying him to bed tho :~) if he's sleepy hell get under the blankets too, but sometimes he'll stay up and talk to Dia (Dia is the last to fall asleep). Dia is the one who sets up the new alarm clock too (though of course. it's just gonna get smashed to pieces come morning </3)
Also as a bonus funfact. Theseus will sleep spooning Asterius but in the morning they're like in complete scattered disarray. Theseus completely fallen off the bed. It's a mess
Also a bonus bonus funfact. I like to think Elysian heroes can just summon their weapons to their side any time they wish.......... so Asterius smashes the alarm clck by summoning his axe and just dropping it on top of the thing. Has created a very interesting depression in the little bedside drawn they have.

top gun: maverick headcanons, but these are only phoenix and her relationships with the rest of the team
ok SO
this is my first hc post, so sorry if it's messy (it is)
also it's very long (at least i think so) and english isn't my native
we all know that when phoenix arrives to the bar she is with fanboy and payback, right
so i totally think that she mostly hangs out with them
at least at the beginning
i see her as a person who is very fun and outgoing, but only with people that she's known for a while
'the meaner i am, the more i love you' type of person
but not around bob (he is too sweet, she wouldn't even know where to start)
THE REST OF THE BOYS ON THE OTHER HAND
(when she tells someone about them she totally calls them 'the boys' or 'my boys')
so with the rest of the boys she is rougher, but, yk, in a loving way
ROOSTER
OH, HER RELATION WITH ROOSTER (that i created in my head) IS PURE GOLD
i know that at the beginning the writers wanted to make phoenix his love interest, and i would like to personally shake hands with the person who prevented this from happening
they're both bi (that's all you need to know rn)
they tease each other NON-STOP
but they totally can talk about more serious issues
phoenix is always there when rooster needs an emotional kick
he knows the girl won't pity him
and she knows he's not gonna judge her
like when phoenix had the biggest crush on halo and she started to act weirdly around her
BECAUSE I LOVE THE IDEA OF MEAN AND ROUGH PHOENIX WHO LOSES HER COOL EVERYTIME SHE SEES A HOT WOMAN
she struggled so hard to do the first move, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to do it
and rooster — who she wasn't that close to at the time — saw that and started encouraging her to ask halo out
phoenix was very pleasantly surprised at his reaction, but after some time she realized that her crush on callie was — well — just a crush
(it also turned out that halo was already taken) (so actually both phoenix and rooster were happy that natasha didn't make the first move)
but it definitely brought them closer and now they're the hottest bi besties the top gun has ever seen
she is actually the meanest to hangman, most of the time he can't say if she's joking or not
and she LOVES to compete with him, but the funny part is, that he never knows when she does
so they will go up, phoenix will make some sick tricks in the air and when they all land, she'll give bob a high five and she'll laugh in jake's face
saying something like 'SEE, HANGMAN, I WON'
and he will just make a face and ask 'what. you won WHAT exactly'
but she'll be already with rooster, bragging that she beat hangman
and rooster obviously will look at him over her head
and say with a totally straight face 'of course you did'
hangman will just shake his head before following them
back to fanboy and payback (and also coyote, bc i feel like the three of them mostly spends time together)
she kinda treats fanboy like her younger brother, which is VERY sweet
she always helps him when he needs something and they share food
and one is always very happy and proud when the other is successful
phoenix, payback and coyote aren't as closed as, let's say, she and bob, or even rooster, but they like to spend time together
and their fav thing to do is standing with arms crossed, judging people
they gossiped all day after their first lesson with maverick (and also part of the night)
all three of them love to bet on practically anything
but payback and coyote are actually aware of that, unlike hangman
phoenix and payback pretend to truly believe, that coyote and rooster constantly flirt witch each other
so javy and bradley will literally just talk after flying and natasha and reuben will go 'are we interrupting something? we can totally go eat somewhere else' and 'god, can't you guys just KISS already'
it'd be probably very annoying to anyone else, but coyote and rooster don't mind, they know phoenix and payback are just teasing them, so it's okay
+ they actually do flirt a lot
once fanboy asked phoenix, completely serious, if hangman was fine with the fact that his boyfriend flirts with coyote all the time and she hasn't let rooster live since
phoenix, fanboy and coyote LOVE to watch rooster and hangman annoy/flirt with each other. natasha and mickey, whenever they can, they sit cross-legged and watch the bicker like it's a ping-pong match. coyote says they look like children (but always stands next to them whispering shit like 'they wanna kiss each other so bad')
payback and bob are always further away when rooster and hangman have their little show. payback because he is 'bored with their constant flirting', and bob because he is scared they're gonna make him pick a side
YES, CORRECT, IT'S TIME FOR PHOENIX AND BOB BESTIES CONTENT
jhsakhfhfjak SO we know that when bob was assigned to phoenix she wasn't particularly pleased with this (well, she is a bit of a lonely wolf when it comes to flying)
bob had the tiniest, cutest little crush on her
not the 'i like you' crush, more like 'you're so awesome, but i'm too scared to talk to you, so i'm just gonna stare at you' crush (which can be the same thing, yes)
phoenix decided that she can as well be nice to her new wso, especially, when hangman was making fun of him
and she kinda,,, was always there when anybody was going to say anything, it was almost like she had a sixth sense or something
bob is now obviously part of the team (he always was, the boys just needed someone to tease), but he is still very thankful to her
'that's what friends do, come on, bobino' she grins, and bob's heart starts beating faster because HE TRULY IS FRIENDS WITH HER and it's SUCH A NICE FEELING
and YES, she calls him bobino, she actually has a thousand nicknames for him (bobsleigh, bobster, pink floyd. they are all impossibly stupid, but they both love them)
he doesn't remain in debt to her. it's very common to hear bob calling phoenix 'nat', 'tasha', or, his favorite, 'tracy'
i DO think that they spend christmas together (and with rooster, but that's for another post)
i just SKDJFNHSASF i LOVE platonic m/f relationships, they mean so much to me
and that's also why i like to think that phoenix has a nice, cute friendship with each of the boys

HSMTMTS Season 3 Trailer Thoughts
The beginning's actually kinda funny (something wildcats!).
Why is the right part of the scene blurred at 16 seconds..? It's pretty obvious if you pause there.

Is it just me or is Kourtney taking a selfie at a random moment kind of like Season 1 Carlos?
It annoys me that they spent 14 seconds in the trailer on the announcing Corbin and the putting on Frozen part (mainly because it was already in the sneak peek) but I know, some FaNs didn't know about it sooo
So Gina's wearing all gold while dancing on stage. I think that she's gonna have her Season 1 Nini moment where she's auditioning and then is suddenly transported to some dream stage and wearing something different (they did this in 1-2-3 in season 2 as well).
I can't see Olivia Rodrigo or Nini with a gigantic sunhat and holding a white lace umbrella but here we are
And Ricky is now standing on a log looking out to the city. I was thinking it's probably some Troy song, like Scream perhaps...? Although to be realistic, maybe EJ should sing Scream because of his whole college decision (which strangely wasn't even brought up in the trailer).
So now Gina's talking about how this is her first time doing a bunch of stuff. I think that maybe she's about to sing For the First Time in Forever because.... I mean it would make sense.
Carlos looks ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED talking about how Portwell will be a thing all summer...
Gina girl it is not your first time going all out for the lead in the show. You did that with HSM, you just didn't actually get the lead... unless Gina's talking about going all out AS the lead of the show?
They show a color wars song for a bit. Meg/Val has a mic so I'm sure she'll be singing quite a bit in that song. I'm lowkey not interested at all in a color wars thing, but oh well. Maybe it'll be interesting. Oh and later in the trailer it shows Jet (on the yellow team) being held up by his teammates so I guess we already know that the yellow team wins

So Ricky was clearly writing a song, and then did that HSM 3 thing (if anyone remembers) where he purposely was showing her the paper but not letting her have it.
It lowkey makes sense for Rina to develop anyways. EJ is too busy being a camp director. Gina's the lead. Ricky MIGHT get Kristoff.

EJ is probably giving the thumbs up to Gina's audition. Adding onto that, WHATEVER happens with what Gina gets, it's gonna cause chaos. If she gets the lead, people will say "Oh that's unfair because you're dating our director." On the other hand, maybe EJ won't give her the lead BECAUSE people would think that way.
The stakes have never been higher...? I'm confused last time I checked it's a Frozen musical that is put on by a two-week summer camp. It's really not that big...
But yes I will also be obsessing over every episode so maybe it is a big thing.

hi! thank you for the ask,, I love talking about my hcs for Gar and his relationships with other characters lol
for Jane (if she was in the Titansverse that is), I can't imagine she was very happy when she learned Chief brought a kid to Doom Manor and that it was his next "save" because they all know what it really means when Chief "saves" someone. He probably caused their accident and now is gonna use/treat them like an animal.
Ya know, "not being very happy" is an understatement. Jane would be PISSED. She's extremely protective of children because of what happened to her. And then here's the Chief strolling back into the manor with some sickly, terrified-looking thirteen year old boy with green hair at his side, that he informed will be living with them now. If that didn't make her upset, learning that Chief completely stripped this kid's humanity away and turned him into something beyond science's understanding, ruining an innocent kid's childhood, sure would make her want to put her fist through Chief's face.
I can see her threatening Chief too, telling him if she finds out he's been using Gar as a lab rat or gets his gross hands anywhere near him for anything besides check ups on his powers, she'll bash his face into the pavement.
since Jane is permanently in her 20s, she'd be the member closest to Gar's age (13 at arrival) so she takes up the role of big - probably.. maybe.. not the best influence - sister, who makes sure Chief stays the fuck in line.
Out of all the Doom Patrol's powers I always thought Gar's matched Jane's in a sort of way since he also has a bunch of different beings living inside him that are able to affect his thoughts/actions. They're just animals with their own feelings and thoughts instead of differently personalities.
and since Gar went years without having his powers, he was very overwhelmed and scared when they started giving him animal urges and the animals themselves began to communicate with him in their way. Because only Jane could put herself in his shoes, understand how he was feeling- at least a little, she was the one to help him quiet all the voices in his head and teach him how to live with it since his powers aren't going anywhere.
For the chaotic hcs:
-Gar's favorite swear of "bullshit" he picked up from Jane. She said it A LOT, especially to Cliff. Like she and Cliff will be arguing about something, Jane will end it with "That's such bullshit, Cliff. Fuck off, you metal dick!" before leaving and Gar, who was in the room, has to add "It was bullshit, man", which makes Cliff snap at him with "Don't you start, you little shit!" and then Gar follows after Jane with a dumb grin on his face.
-Jane taught Gar how to sneak out and very much encouraged him to keep doing it with a "Niles can go fuck himself, go out and have fun" and would add "If you need me to buy you a 6 pack or anything else, I will" which Gar always declined. When Gar started filling his room with stolen stuff and Jane found out, she just gave him a fist bump, telling him "Keep up the good work, your room looks sick". then suggested easy places to steal from.
-And speaking of sneaking out, Gar would often follow Jane when she'd leave Doom Manor and join in whatever she was doing.. sometimes. If what she was doing is something he's comfortable with, he'll join, but stand and ignore it if he wasn't.
now onto Jinx, there isn't as much as Jane but I can see her getting a kick out of messing with people but gets annoyed when she can't get under Dick or Rachel's skin, so moves onto the softie Gar Logan, sure she'll be able to bug him. Surprise, surprise, she can't bug Gar because Gar is also secretly just as chaotic as her and isn't bothered by her jabs at all.
So instead of Jinx seeing him as someone to mess with, she lowkey sees him as a teammate and lets him add his sarcastic comments and jokes after hers, which gets on Dick's nerves.
If they went on a duo mission, something would probably be caught on fire or blown up, even if by accident. Like Jinx would call Nightwing, tell him "Hey Grayson, something happened on our mission and now we're stuck in an elevator" and in the background Gar is laughing his ass off because he's the reason they're in that situation. If something chaotic and dumb was gonna happen on a mission, it'd be to them. Neither Gar nor Jinx have the best luck.
While Rachel and Tim are investigating the proper way, Jinx would be spray painting "if you're evil and a part of a cult please call this number, I wanna join" on a building's wall while Gar helps.
Dick and Kory wouldn't like how Jinx is influencing Gar and Rachel would be jealous (in a "hey, wait, that's my best friend" way, not a romantic way) Gar has buddied up with someone else to joke around with instead of her.
if Gar was a villain, he and Jinx could absolutely be partners in crime tbh so i'mma add Jinx to the list of villains Gar would vibe with, right below Poison Ivy, who's definitely number one.

30. how do they handle confrontation?
ELIDE — depends on the type. if it's in a combat or aggressive type of confrontation, then she'll quickly be ready to take it head on because she's confident in those areas. but tbh when it comes to more emotional or heavy topics, she needs a little bit to organize her thoughts and prepare a whole speech or even just a bullet point list of what she feels is necessary to cover in the conversation.
EMMA — she doesn't like it bc that means negative vibes :// she's gonna let aeca handle all the confrontation, thank you <3 (in actuality, it fully depends on the scenario. for issues in friendships and relationships and whatnot she's perfectly comfortable going up to someone and bringing up what she needs to talk about, but she's strongly adverse to aggressive confrontation.)
RIYA — she's got zero problems with it on any level lmao if someone comes to her then she’s probably a bit bitchy about it, she’s full of sass and the urge to taunt so you gotta be ready for that or you’ll lose your mind during the encounter. when she initiates a confrontation it’s bold and with full conviction, she’s the type to show up out of nowhere and crash your nice breakfast date with the “heard you were talking shit, boy” type of engagement (much to the mild disappointment of her mother, who would rather Not have her daughter publicly causing a fuss over such petty matters).
31. do they respond well to praise? how about criticism?
ELIDE — she's got a full on praise kink the little weirdo. i mean, it's not that weird but i like to bully her. she received a lot of praise growing up from both her parents, and especially her papa once she started taking clockmaking lessons from him because he was So proud of her and excited to share this part of his life with her. she doesn't need it to keep up her confidence, but she does in fact love and get a nice warm fuzzy feeling out of getting praise. she doesn't really Like criticism, but she's more open to it in certain areas. will take the words to heart and put consideration into them if she believes they're valid, but will outright start a debate if she thinks someone's off base.
EMMA — will go full 🥰🥰 mode when receiving praise, she's a fan. kinda had a long phase of actively seeking praise from her parents and other guiding figures because she painted herself into That corner, which twisted the actual gratification of receiving it because it wouldn't last nearly long enough before she was seeking the next kind words, the poor girl. honestly feels a bit taken aback if someone gives her criticism?? she's an annoying little prodigy that's good at whatever she takes up, she's simply not accustomed to being told she's doing something wrong or needs to take a new direction with things, etc etc. she'll certainly listen to the criticism, work on it and probably engage with whoever gave it to her to further understand with a smile on her face.
RIYA — WAS RAISED ON PRAISE. LIVES AND BREATHES IT. cannot stress enough how into praise she is, it fuels her on the day to day. she's been incredibly lucky to be surrounded by people so happy to compliment and praise her on the reg tbh, tragic she's leaving that behind it's her life's blood. she's uh. predictably not the greatest with criticism. it's a wound to her ego, sometimes feels like a slap to the face and something she doesn't know how to handle very well seeing as she receives it so rarely.
51. what element of their backstory are you proudest of?
ELIDE — i was always fond of how her intelligence was woven in. specifically how her various skills and ridiculously vast areas of knowledge were a result of her constantly reading and learning about whatever she could as a way to cope with the feeling of being stuck on the island, when her poor destined adventurer ass wanted to get the heck outta there. and also somewhat along the same vein, the idea that the flavor of her luck points were her using that sexy brain of hers to predict what was gonna go down and adjust herself in the moment to make it work.
EMMA — i will always find it deeply funny that she is so annoyingly sweet, gifted, forgiving, etcetc while her brother seethes about it in the background. yeah yeah, they work on it during their time at the academy but i’m here for the comedy of emma using druidcraft at the dinner table to make a vase of flowers blossom for mama merigold and the camera cutting to merrill looking like he’s about to knock himself out with how hard he just rolled his eyes at the display of magic.
RIYA — this is kind of a weird answer but i’m proud of like,,,how i had a concept and stuck to it, not because that’s usually hard but because the idea of valeriya is so different in a lot of aspects than most of my characters, especially for a PC and not just a clown i ramble about. a spoiled brat with negative wisdom that doesn’t think before she acts and doesn’t put a lot of effort into trying to understand others’ experiences and her levels of arrogance etc etc, it’s pretty far removed from my Comfort Zone and i’m proud that i stuck to it. i didn’t try to shift her a little as i went, didn’t change anything to fit my usual go-tos and tabby tropes, i fully laid out her initial energy and concept and followed through with it through all of her development. she’s not the usual tabby character and that’s what i’m the happiest with

@pacificseaotter I DID receive your ask, but tumblr is being dumb so I'm gonna post the answer here instead to your questions:
1, How many OCs do I have?
Too many to count.
2. The backstory of one of my ocs
Okay, I'm going to talk about an OC I made as sort of a ready made self-insert for any fandom: Her name is Eva, she has a healing ability that allows her to heal any physical wound on both herself and others.
Her parents were very rich but their jobs included a lot of travel, so they weren't around a lot. They sent her money and gifts, hired the best help they could find, and called regularly, but that never really replaced the missing time she lost with them.
When she was... about 6 or 7, she accidentally lit her house on fire when she shoved a lamp off her desk onto her paper covered floor, giving her both extreme claustrophobia and pyrophobia. She was unable to make it out in time and ended up completely and severely burned from head to toe. But because of her abilities, by the time the firemen pulled her out of the rubble, she was, physically at least, completely fine. Her parents, thinking that she got lucky, didn't bother with a therapist because she never expressed an interest in one.
Despite this, however, she is actually doing pretty well mentally. These days, she has a roommate (who would vary depending on what fandom I put her in), she's actually seeing a therapist, and works as a streamer who mostly does art and plays games like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Minecraft, and so on.
3. Who has the coolest design?
That would have to be my girl Tesha. I just love spider characters so much, they're so cool. Although I will admit it is hard to fit all of her eyes onto her face. The only time I've ever drawn her, I ended up only giving her six eyes, because I couldn't add the last pair without it looking weird. So I just ended up saying it's kept under the bandana and serves the same purpose as a regular pirate's eyepatch, which is to help her adjust to the lower light levels below deck.
4. Tesha and Mythical Sausage have an... interesting dynamic. It's actually pretty comedic, when you think about it. Sausage wants to help this teenager who washed up on his shore, having clearly gone through something horribly traumatic. But all Tesha wants to do is get back out there and start sailing again, which is, presumably, the thing that nearly killed her. What can she say, she has places to be and a captain to get back to.
Of course there's the language barrier, which is annoying, because it makes every conversation between the two of them revert to a game of charades.
Basically:
Sausage: Oh no! This poor girl nearly died sailing! She'll probably never want to look at a boat again!
Meanwhile, Tesha: *Frantically waving and pointing at any boat she sees, constantly trying to sneak out and get back on the ocean, has drawn several pictures of herself on a pirate ship, is growing increasingly frustrated that Sausage won't let her go with him on his sea voyages*
Another layer of comedy is added when you remember that Eversea is right next to Sanctuary, so Tesha's captain is literally right next door. Their reunion of course would be suitably touching, since Tesha fell overboard a month before Joey did.
Also: Tesha enjoys hanging out with Hermes. She's never been in the position of a big sister before, but she has got lots of examples to draw from. She sometimes acts as babysitter when both Bubbles and Sausage are busy.
She's started teaching Hermes how to wield a knife, unbeknownst to his fathers, because that was one of the first things Joey taught her how to do.
I mean, she is a pirate.

ooooh ya hehe >.< bro even one of my favorite OCs (the only one so far who i've not abandoned even a little, even when my fandom hyperfixation shifted) is like that -- she's sarcastic, blunt, hot-headed, and yet like not bothered by a lot of things that probably should bother her? she's kinda like jumin mixed with a hothead, so she swings both ways: cool-headed sometimes, hotheaded others (usually in response to injustice or being protective of the people she loves). but she's terrible with expressing affection. like she'll compliment someone's features with a blank face because to her "their freckles are nicely proportioned, i dont see anything wrong with pointing that out" but ... yeah. lmao. i love her. i love these types

omg... yeah. i want to get a twitter account to support the youtubers i watch over there, but its not worth the horror stories ive heard XD tumblr's still kind of a hellhole but when you find the right niche and dont read comments on controversial posts it can be pretty great. and tbf, tumblr's probably the only space you can interact like this? instagram feels so private (which i like) and reddit... well, im extremely new and only got it so i could ask a question on the mysme subreddit lol. so i dont even use it. but still, it doesn feel like it would offer the same level of interaction... if im making any sense

And my oc loves to call Vandy out on his bs when he complains about Saeyoung again. She's always like "admit it, you actually love him" xD (also I have a running gag where Saeyoung refers to them as mom and dad and she just humors him while Vandy is super annoyed by it 😂)

I mean, if you want to make a twitter, go for it :3 it's kinda trial and error at first whenever you wanna follow people with the same interests etc. But it's not all bad all the time xD I use it to stay in contact with some friends and mutuals, to see fanart and stay kinda up to date with the vtubers I follow. So all in all it's very chill :3 plus there's always the option to block words and tags etc as well.
Instagram... Sure can be nice but idk. They try too hard to become tiktok 2.0 :/ they flood the feed too much with videos now which is really annoying.
Yeeeah on Tumblr it's really safest to stay away from most discussions xD
