Kid Icarus has entered my brain again for the 100th time and of course my Black and White brainrot continues so I need to say

Pit and N would be friends like, Pit see’s N as kinda a really mellowed out Palutena, and N see’s Pit as extremely similar to Hilbert so they both connect decently quickly. Not to mention both would have similar abandonment issues and both are very autistic coded. I think N would infodump random Pokemon facts to Pit and he would listen intensely

This is also kinda inspired by me and my friend playing Minecraft where they had a Pit skin and I had an N one, so they can both go a little insane in the forest dealing with the creepers lol

AITA for changing my (30 FtM) name?

I was born with a very angrogynous/masculine name. For the sake of this post we'll say it's Alex Andrew Lastname. I was bullied for it growing up and can often see on people's faces that they were expecting someone different when they see my name first. I never liked my name growing up because I didn't think I fit the vibe. I'm just not an "Alex". But honestly, if I ever fully pass, that could change.

I recognize I've hit the trans guy jackpot. I've seen quite a few trans men change their names to my birth name, first and middle. Logically, I'd never have to change it for safety or validation reasons.

I've been using a different name for years now. My partner of 10 years doesn't know me by another name and cringes when we have to use Alex for legal paperwork. This name has been public knowledge to everyone including my family for about 8 years. We'll say this new name is "Elijah" (it is not)

The problem arises when I bring up my final legal name choice to my mom.

"Why that? I would have never named you that. I don't think it suits you." I double down and explain I like the name and don't mind the religious connotation (we went to church but she's always appropriated eastern religions, I am not religious) Additionally, SHE should have been using it all this time, even when I'm not there. She complains. "Can't I still call you Alex? I mean, I gave birth to you, I should still be able to call you Alex. I gave you that name because it was androgynous and cool, why do you want to change it?" I tell her again, no. If she's the only person deadnaming me, other people will feel they have the right to. "Can I call you Al?" No, sorry. "Can I call you Andrew? I named you after your uncle, he didn't do anything wrong."

Because she's pushing back so much, I tell her the truth. Growing up, she was abusive and negligent. When she did use my name, she said it like she hated me. When I was in trouble, when she was disagreeing with me, when she bullied me. She didn't really say my name in rare situations where she was proud because she was jealous and focused on making sure everyone knew I was cool and "unique" because I was "her kid". Because of it, I cringe when I hear my birth name. It's a strong name, a good name, even, but it makes me feel small and tired. I told her I was proud of her going to therapy, that we could start over, but that I'm asking to be respected as a person.

Shortly after I was born, she asked my grandma to draw up a tattoo of my deadname. It's a large, dark piece on her entire lower back. I told her I don't expect her to cover it, that she can keep it and mourn the name however she feels, but I'd like to get a matching, small tattoo with her to celebrate my new name if she's interested. She didn't really respond. She finally said she still doesn't like the name Elijah, but asked if she could call me Eli (yeah, obviously)

Despite all of this reaching some sort of compromise, I've heard I've made a bad decision from both sides. Some think I was too gentle and understanding and should have essentially said "fuck you this is my name take it or leave it". Others think I should have kept my deadname because there was nothing wrong with it, I'm being too emotional about it, or that I'm choosing to inconvenience others by changing things age 30. There's also the idea that no one really likes their name so it's not a great reason to change it.

AITA for having no real reason to change my name and doing so anyway?

Hi, pile 1, I think it's really interesting that you picked an illustration with a person almost drowning and then this song came up. I feel like things have been difficult lately, it might be that you've been feeling like you're barely been able to keep up with everything that's going on in your life. With the 2 of Pentacles thrown in here as well, you may have been in a situation where you're trying to deal with two big things at once. Like, say for example, you're dealing with your own problems and a helping a friend deal with their problems as well. The first message that is coming for you pile 1 is that you need to prioritize because you won't be able to keep every ball in the air.

Now onto what you need to work on. The 2 of Pentacles is a card of duality and flexibility, of making space for a little bit of everything. For me this means that you need to work on not seeing things so black and white. I think that the people in this pile either have a bit of a fatalistic view of things or are super happy go lucky with no in-between. Spirit is asking you to try and look at things in a different way. Maybe things aren't all terrible - or maybe they aren't perfect. You need to recognize the good, the bad and the neutral in every situation. Also, you don't need to have a super strong and unchangeable opinion on everything. It's okay to change your mind as you grow and learn, and sometimes you won't have an opinion at all - and that is perfectly fine.

Going back to this difficult situation that you have been going through, maybe take a little bit to think about it and try to see it from a different angle. Has anything good come out of it? What is a simple thing that you could do that would make this situation better? Try to keep it as simple as possible, sometimes our fears and worries make our problems seem more monstrous than they truly are. As a last little message: be brave and keep going! You're so so strong and as your song says you're getting closer every day. Don't give up now!

Hey there, pile 2! First of all let me ask, how are you? Are you okay? This may not be for everyone, but I am getting deep sadness and depression vibes from this pile. There's almost a sense of mourning here. You may have recently lost someone or something that was very important to you. Some of you may have never even had this thing to begin with - like you wanted to get into a certain college but you didn't make it. Honestly the vibe here is like seeing the first rays of sunlight, but not being entirely convinced yet that it will rise indeed. I have this feeling that despite this loss and this longing you want to be hopeful, but you're not seeing enough proof that everything will be alright yet.

With the Sun card here more than working towards something (even though yes you do have to work for it) I think that what you need is reassurance. And I really want to give it to you pile 2. Yes, everything will be okay. No, the future won't undo what has been taken from you and it won't erase the pain you have been and you are going through. But you will laugh again, you will feel the sunshine on your skin again and you will feel happy and content. This was not the end. Your future is still being built and it wants to tell you that you will be alright. Side note, but the song "A quarter past five" by Avi Kaplan just came to mind because he sings something like "It turns out fine". And yeah pile 2 it does turn out fine.

Your life is currently in expansion, maybe it's really hard to see it yet, but it is. You will be safe, healthy and happy. The only thing that Spirit wants you to do is to hold on. Keep being hopeful, keep one foot after the other and you will get there. There isn't a future without pain, that's just impossible, but there is a future filled with joy and contentment ready for you.

Pile 3, the Tower is the card of destruction, but in your reading, rather than predict disaster this card is asking you to evaluate your behaviors. Have you been unnecessarily aggressive lately? Have you been lashing out at the people who love you? Even if you don't necessarily mean to, mean words may have been quick on your tongue lately. Spirit wants you to think about these misplaced aggressions. Who are you really angry with? or What are you really angry about? There are other, healthier, ways to use this anger. Art or sports could be a way to channel this aggression in a way that would make you feel better and that wouldn't hurt your loved ones. The most important thing to realize though is that misplacing your anger/taking it out on others doesn't make you a bad person. Realizing that you're doing it and not making an effort to change though, does.

This isn't necessarily the case for everyone though. I feel like some of you are taking it out on yourselves instead of other people. Simple thoughts like "oh you're so stupid" or "you screw everything up" are signs of self-aggression. Just like the others, I ask you to stop and to think what is causing that anger and why are you taking it out on yourself. Why do you feel that you deserve bad things? This is difficult work, but that will make you feel so much better.

Others of you may be trying to make trouble on purpose as a way to gain attention. This could be literal trouble, like stealing or cheating, or it could be a more subtle form like provoking someone into a fight. Again, we make no judgments here. But ask yourself why do you feel like you can't just ask other people for their attention? What or Who is making you feel unseen? You deserve to be loved just as you are pile 3 and you don't need to be perfect or to cause trouble to deserve other's attention.

Pile 4, according to Sasha Graham (the creator of the Dark Wood Tarot) the 7 of Pentacles is a card of slumber. For you, the work you have to do is subtle in a way, because it's hard to realize all the small little things that we do and that hurt us in the long run. Constantly and without us realizing we continue to hurt ourselves until it's hard to understand where our problems are coming from. You need to wake up pile 4. I know that there are times when we just want to curl up into a ball and daydream our days away, but what you need to do right now is the opposite of that. You need to gather your courage and wake up. Go slowly at first, just watching, paying attention to yourself. What opportunities are you losing without even noticing, because you're afraid? These could be really "simple", like being invited to go out with a group of friends and refusing because you've been anxious. You think that going out will be worse for your anxiety, but the more that you keep refusing these outings the more your anxiety grows. You are giving it power, essentially. This is just an example, but some of you might actually have anxiety (also I also have it and I know that it's really easy to talk, but very hard to actually to take action).

Another big thing that you need to face is fear. What are you afraid of? What is fear taking from you? What would be the worst possible outcome of something? And then I need you to realize something, you are the one in control here, not your fears. They might freak you out, but they are not in control. Let's imagine that you're in a car with your fears, you're the one driving not them. They might try to grab the steering wheel, they may scream at you to slow down, they may be annoying as shit, but you're still the one driving. You get to decide your path, not your fears.

Ultimately, pile 4 there are big opportunities ahead of you, but you need to wake up, be brave and grab them.

A/N: I went a little crazy for March 7th and the ones past her and it has a very different vibe from the rest but I just felt a little bit silly

🔾 A relationship with Kafka is very casual, and has a general "go with the flow" type consistency to it.

🔾 While it is quite casual, she still can be very romantic.

🔾 Her love language(s) would be words of affirmation and gift giving. She often will buy you stuff when she sees something that reminds her of you.

🔾 She will often buy you clothes that she thinks would look cute on you, as she's very well-versed in fashion and such.

🔾If you are a Stellaron hunter along with her, she doesn't feel as strong of a need to protect you, as she figures that you should probably know how to hold your own in battle, and she figures that you have the intelligence to know how to stay safe.

🔾 If you aren't a Stellaron hunter, she has a much more protective nature when it comes to you. She won't let you get involved in anything that has to do with her work, and she feels the need to be near you whenever you're out. It's not that she doesn't trust you necessarily, she just doesn't want to mess up and let you get hurt.

I have some lowkey demon lore that I’ve been revolving around in my head.

Despite Bad, Tina, and Mouse all being demons, they’re not the same at all which led to me to start world building a bit in my head.

Irl there’s different types of demons, but stepping back from demonology or religious sources and into Minecraft, I think Demons would be more of a taxonomical catagory, specifically a phylum. Im way too into biology and genetics, so I’ll spare all the science talk, but underneath that phylum of demons, there’s different classes and families. I think what defines the Demon phylum would be having infernal blood, which is different from being warm blooded, mammals birds and such, and cold blooded, reptiles fish etc.

That choice also made me start thinking of that means people like bird hybrids aren’t mammals or if some players who are cold blooded would be reptile, but that’s something to think of on a different day.

I think infernal blood is something a lot of demons are born with, but my running theory is that certain spells, experiments, or spending enough time in hell chemically, magically?, transforms a persons blood to become infernal. Or they die.

I don’t know exactly what type of demons Tina or Bagi are, but I think Bad would be a fallen angel. Fallen angels are somewhat rare, they’ve had to be cast from some pantheon to burn. Many of them die but those who make it have many struggles. They remember a life outside of hell, and often do whatever it takes to claw their way out, a painful and tedious procedure. Once they make it through hell and out of the nether, they find that humans and those in the over world tend to fear them. They’re powers that once protected and created now kill and destroy when they try to use it. I think they also have a bad reputation amongst other demons due to mistrust of them once being holy.

I don’t watch much of Tina’s pov, so forgive me and pls correct me if she already has lore, but Tina gives me the vibe of somebody who was once a human that was forcefully transformed into a demon. She gives me strong “girl raised in country village vibes who was subjected to the horrors”.

I feel like she was greatly content, with a happy upbringing. One day she gets kidnapped, dragged to hell, and transformed. They underestimate the kind village girl, and she kills her captors. She still looks very human, but now she has two horns and some unholy power running in her veins. She returns to her village only to be chased away with pitchforks, forever scarring her physically and psychologically. Humans can’t get past her horns, sharp teeth and claws, so she hides them.

Mouse is the only demon out of the three to have actually been born in hell. Not just born in hell but into royalty!! For a demon, she is kind, patient, highly educated, but naive. She’s always had power and protectors. When she’s visited the overworked she is simply too strong to recognize any attacks against her, though being royalty, she’s protected and somewhat above that. While she’s used to assassination attempts and crime, she’s never quite gone through discrimination for being a demon. She’s so confused as to why Bad and Tina hide what they are.

Other little things: holy weapons like crosses, holy water, and blessed items only hurt bad. Most demons have weakness to things like silver but they’re all very strong.

Well don’t mind if I do! Driftpaw got me curious about cats switching clans, especially since OceanClan has a high turnover right it surprises me someone as stressed about these reckless morons would choose to go INTO the clan.

Is there a specific process cats have to go through to join another clan? Can they just show up one day and declare they live here now? Is there anything they must promise or accomplish first? Could a leader reject someone joining their clan? Like, personal ones, such as one cat stalking another by trying to join, or escaping punishment in their home clan, or broader ones, such as the clan being way too big or not enough food to go around? Or could a leader just be like, nah I don’t like that guys vibes

In Driftpaw’s case, he did not join Oceanclan entirely by his own volition. His mother, Herringflash, moved to the clan when her sons (Driftpaw and Marshpaw) were almost apprentice age and naturally took her kits with her. She needed a change and some sort of reset in her life after her pregnancy, and somewhat impulsively looked to join Oceanclan in order to fulfill that need. Marshpaw enjoys his place in the clan, and though Driftpaw has the option to leave if he wanted to, he’s hesitant to leave his family members in a place he considers dangerous. He also feels somewhat obligated to the cats of Oceanclan, considering they only have a single fully trained doctor, and he genuinely wants to help despite his complete bafflement at their lifestyle.

As for the process for joining clans, this is one with no set rules that differs by clans and by leaders. Putting the rest of this answer under the cut since it gets sort of long:

Oceanclan is usually the most picky, and is unlikely to accept cats on a whim without sufficient proof they can “pull their weight”. Regarding Herringflash—a strong denizen who’s still relatively young, and who would be bringing new blood with her—her acceptance was an easy decision for Sandstar.

Iceclan is another clan which does not see many denizens switching into its ranks. This is less due to selectivity, and more because most cats don’t find Iceclan a particularly appealing place to live. Iceclan is in a geographically isolated place, and in a generally inhospitable environment compared to the other clans. Along with this, it would be difficult for a new denizen to settle comfortably into the clan socially, due to the fact that the clan considers itself a close family, and takes some time to warm up to outsiders. However, Iceclan does see many elders from other clans move into its ranks, particularly ones who feel their lives are reaching a near end. Since the clans’ main burial ground is located within the Iceclan tunnels, it is common for elders to live the end of their lives among Iceclan, so they would not have to be moved up the mountain when their time comes.

As for Brookclan and Stoneclan, they are by far the clans with the most switching between them. While in the other clans, new transfers are generally rare, it is practically a monthly occurrence for these two clans. Brookclan and Stoneclan are very close clans both geographically and relationally, and tend to work together often. If Stoneclan happens to deal with a sudden outbreak of illness, Brookclan cats may be sent to live with them and aid their denizens while they recover. If Brookclan finds that a family of difficult porcupines has moved in near camp, Stoneclan cats may be sent over to help strategize a plan. Cats may change between these clans yearly just for a change of scenery, or to spend time with family members or friends that may be spread between the clans. There is very little formal process for switching here, and though a cat may usually throw a heads-up to their clanmates and leader about switching, a sudden switch without warning would not necessarily be turned away, though not without confusion.

As for the scenarios you brought up, that would be entirely situational, and usually may involve discussion among the clans’ leaders and deputies if there happened to be a personal conflict. However, since the whole switching process lacks any sort of official guidelines, really anything goes, which does allow for cases such as petty leaders, though there may be social consequences for that leader.

I agree with your points about homophobia in Thedas being an consistent thing (though I've personally always gotten the vibe that similarly to a lot of the sexism in the setting it was writer biases coming in as opposed to like, a truly thought out part of the setting) but I was wondering if you had any thoughts on where situations like Teagan Rowan and Eamon's two dads fit in here? It's always struck me as so weird that homophobia is def an established thing but also these two were so accepted that Eamon naming his son after his commoner father seemingly wasn't even scandalous at all. I mean it's nice obv I'm just confused by it from a Ferelden politics lore perspective? Feels like I'm missing something. Sry if this question is rambly/not worded well I am very tired

so here’s the codex entry that discusses the politics of homosexuality in thedas most directly!

What I find most interesting is that, despite the lack of open discussion on matters of human sexuality, there is commonality to be found on the subject in all Andrastian lands. Typically, one's sexual habits are considered natural and separate from matters of procreation, and only among the nobility, where procreation involves issues of inheritance and the union of powerful families, is it considered of vital importance. Yet, even there, a noble who has done their duty to the family might be allowed to pursue their own sexual interests without raising eyebrows.

The view on indulging lusts with a member of the same gender varies from land to land. In Orlais, it is considered a quirk of character and nothing more. In Ferelden, it is a matter of scandal if done indiscreetly but otherwise nothing noteworthy. In Tevinter, it is considered selfish and deviant behavior among nobles, but actively encouraged with favored slaves. Nowhere is it forbidden, and sex of any kind is only considered worthy of judgment when taken to awful excess or performed in the public eye.

so you can get more of an idea of how varied it is and what it looks like in a few different nations in particular! i don’t know what the legalities are about marriage though. it’s for sure legal in orlais. so i imagine, in finally a win for the orlesian chantry in general, they do have gay marriage? broadly the homophobia seems more of a social thing than having much in the way of legal ramifications

as for the guerrin situation, it’s important to note that the guerrin siblings had three parents. arl rendorn guerrin had a wife, marina, with whom he presumably biologically had rowan, eamon, and teagan. eamon’s son connor who we see possessed in dao is named after rendorn’s lover connor. so first of all, eamon teagan and rowan’s two dads were never legally married. you could consider that a logical compromise alongside the codex lines “Yet, even there, a noble who has done their duty to the family might be allowed to pursue their own sexual interests without raising eyebrows.” and “In Ferelden, it is a matter of scandal if done indiscreetly but otherwise nothing noteworthy.”

the real issue is that the codex in which the mistake was made that led to connor senior’s existence refers to connor sr, textually, in a work of chantry scholarship, as eamon’s father. which feels like a really strong move if you accept that this would be scandalous if public. in-world, there’s a lot of reasons this could be. firstly, the aforementioned codex is written by sister dorcas guerrin, who is, herself, a lesser cousin of the family and may have had some personal understanding of the relationships involved. secondly, rendorn and connor sr were war heroes who died at the battle of west hill fighting to free ferelden, and may receive some political and social leeway in that regard. thirdly, and most adventurously, maybe connor sr was eamon’s biological father and rendorn was the one biologically uninvolved, and rendorn took some legal means to legitimise him. which. is far-fetched but i enjoy because it makes eamon’s obsession with the theirin bloodline absolutely unhinged behaviour.

that does lead us to the fact that of course, as a late addition made to redress a codex mistake, this all kind of falls apart when you look at rowan and eamon’s canonical approaches to love triangles/squares and accusations of bastard children respectively, but man, if you take all this as canon, what an insane relationship the guerrin throuple must have had for their kids to turn out Like That about it

again, it varies, especially in private. the couslands for example are extremely casual about it; if a male warden arranges a one night stand with a man during the origin, he can mention it to his brother fergus (in front of fergus’ extremely pious wife and their young son!) who will simply laugh about it and make an older brotherly protective joke about, like, fighting the guy for him if he does him wrong, which i assume is the exact same line a female warden gets if they do the same. you don’t even mention to fergus that it’s a man—there’s an alternate version if you went with a woman—he just knows one way or the other, implying he already knows this about you and is very relaxed about it

Woy headcanons (that are mostly Hater&Peepers, sorrynotsorry)

the brainrot for this show is hitting strong once again. This is how I cope (some of them might go against canon, I'm not sure)

Wander is not the last of his kind, although it is a pretty small species in numbers. They are typically nomads and don't tend to have many children per couple, so they are hard to come by. It's probably been decades since Wander has crossed paths with another one of his species.

Speaking of which, Wander is pretty old. His species has a looooong life span and he's around middle-aged in it.

Hater is also quite old compared to most aliens from WoY's galaxy. But for his species, he's pretty young. A skeleton his age is like an older teenager, or a young adult, at most (in human years, he'd be around 19, to early twenties).

Besides Hater himself, Peepers is the only one who knows Lord Hater's real age. Mostly because no one believed him until Peepers.

His species also takes longer to emotionally mature, which explains Hater's childishness, despite how old he is.

Wander is the kind of person who grows a crush on basically everyone he meets, but would also never want to settle down with anyone romantically. "The world is too wide and there are way too many people out there to just stay with one" kind of vibes, ya know?

Sylvia and Wander work so well as companions because they're both 100% sure nothing romantic would ever happen between them. They're besties through and through

Peepers is very much gay and very much crushing on his boss. He represses the hell out of those feelings though.

For the sake of the Hater Empire, Peepers has done quite a few horrible things that Hater doesn't even dream of. And by that, I mean like, actual evil deeds: gore-y missions, downright cruel decisions, the tying of loose ends permanently. The way Peepers saw it, all those things needed to be done for the Empire to thrive, but he knew how sensitive Hater could be and they couldn't risk upsetting their leader too much. Therefore, such responsibilities naturally fell on him.

He's always hidden such matters from Hater. Most of them were in the past, before they became feared, but even to the present day there's a part of him that's really scared of Hater finding out and thinking differently of him. Especially after Wander and Sylvia came around. (He's afraid they'll see him as truly evil).

These past actions are a particularly sore subject for Peepers whenever Hater disregards and/or actively harms their empire; "After everything I've done for us-!" kind of thought

The Watchdogs don't like Peepers. Like, at all. None of them would want his job so there's never been a mutiny against him, but they make so much fun of Peepers behind his back.

Peepers is aware of this (he already wasn't popular amongst the watchdogs before Hater came around) and retaliates by being the most insufferable, hard-to-please boss the watchdogs could ever have (asides from Hater, ofc)

However, in the Watchdog Army, there is a cautionary tale about Lord Hater and making fun of Peepers: it is said that once, a few courageous watchdogs saw Hater berating Peepers, and decided to join him in on the "dunking on Peepers" jokes. Apparently, those few watchdogs went too far with their jeering and Lord Hater obliterated them for their insolence. No one knows for sure how true that tale is, but no one has ever been brave enough to put it to the test.

"Don't talk to Hater about Peepers, and don't talk to Peepers about Hater; especially if they're in a bad mood." That is one of the many secrets that has allowed the Watchdog Army to survive under those two's tutelage.

I like to picture Wander finding out about this animosity between Peepers and his army and deciding to do an intervention to solve everything. He only makes things worse. Weeks later the watchdogs are still suffering from Peepers' petty wrath

Hater is a closeted bi-disaster.

This is not a headcanon, more of an opinion, but Sylvia and Peepers' relationship is lesbian⇆gay solidarity/hostility perfection

When he finally admitted his emotions to you, finally pulling his head out of his ass after he and Sanji got into a big fight, mainly because he was upset that Zoro stole your heart, he’s very affectionate but only to you, and is very protective. He’s easily jealous but not with those on the crew, who flirt with you just to get him riled up and he knows this, it’s those not in the crew that he wouldn’t hesitate to glare at, silently telling them to stay away from you.

-NSFW: Acts like a dom, teasing you, making you beg him, loves to see you cry, but will never intentionally hurt you, would feel awful if he did and nothing is done without your consent. [Spoiler warning for those who haven't played or finished the Burning Shores DLC]

Just wanted some place to add my thoughts on the DLC and the Aloy x Seyka (Seyloy?) romance in particular outside discord spaces.

I want to start this off by saying that I definitely appreciate Aloy getting to experience this for the first time. She deserves happiness more than anyone, and I think this journey made her realize that love is something she is capable of yearning for. Something she does want in her future. The idea is now tangible instead of questionable or unattainable for her.

That being said, I'm not entirely sold on her dynamic with Seyka.

Don't get me wrong, I like Seyka! But she and Aloy are so much alike that it leaves something to be desired of the ship. They're less compelling because even though they definitely vibe with each other, they don't seem to share enough differences that would balance the other out. The only major difference was Seyka's sense of community and Aloy's indifference to it due to her upbringing.

Seyka represents the kind of person I think Aloy would have become had Aloy been able to grow up a normal life with the Nora. Still strong, fierce, and compassionate, yet willing to bend & break the rules if it means protecting everyone or changing things for the better. Not to mention Seyka is unafraid to questions things nor does she follow anything blindly despite coming from a tribe who are known for their convoluted beliefs (not unlike the Nora). I think this is where some of Aloy's admiration for her comes from and why she believes Seyka is so "special." That and Seyka just happened to tick a lot of boxes for Aloy straight from the get-go, which only spearheaded her infatuation.

There's no denying there are feelings in place, and no matter which flashpoint you choose, all options are valid and can be considered canon. However, all 3 options lead to the same result; Aloy and Seyka part ways without any promises or anything established. Both girls have too much on their plate & Seyka is heading home across the ocean.

All in all, this had summer romance vibes. Seyka was Aloy's first crush. One you can briefly allow her to indulge in. Simply a fling. "I don't know if we'll ever be anything more..." is what Aloy says to Varl's grave if you choose the heart option.

This makes for a great setup for at least one other romance option in H3 because Aloy is no longer a stranger to love. It would not be hard to say that enough time has passed for Aloy to have evaluated her experience further and come to the conclusion that it's very likely things would not have worked out between her and Seyka in the long term.

But having experienced those feelings would open up the possibility to go from the puppy love she had with Seyka to being able to develop something deeper and more heartfelt towards someone already established in the series. Someone who is currently more prominent in her life and is also aware of the burden & baggage she carries. Erend feels like the best contender under these circumstances, but it's hard to say if Guerilla will go with the more linear option as they did with Seyka OR if we're going the multiple route like some fans are predicting based off the flashpoint options.

This isn't to say I think it's impossible for Seyka to come back. Though if I'm being frank, I have a hard time seeing how it could happen. Not only is the Quen homeland so far away, but it feels like Seyka is still entirely too dedicated to her tribe to just up & leave. As much as she says she feels like an outcast in the end, she has a pretty solid position among the Quen and honestly? The fear of her truly becoming an outcast was barely there to begin with what with the admiral's confidence in her & the compliance officers being no more than school-yard bullies when it came to authority. Then even if Nemesis wasn't a looming threat, Aloy now has Beta and an AI who is in charge of the entire planet's biosphere to overlook for awhile. Realistically speaking, I don't see a future for Aloy and Seyka as long as either of them have their own lives that are world's apart from each other.

Who knows what will happen though? If nothing else, I genuinely hope Aloy finds happiness in whatever way that means for her by the end. She deserves to live her life.

Saira is like 15-16 and wants to have some big girl money of her own but most places won't hire her so she's stuck doing stuff like mowing lawns and babysitting nightmare children for the neighbours. reader moves into the house next to Saira and Stone with his little daughter. reader is hugelarge and built like a grizzly (Stone is chest height at best). reader is a big, strong man, bit of a dad bod, has some beard, longish hair (basically a viking looking dude. make him scandinavian fuck it. probably has been in the military at some point). despite his looks reader is the chillest man alive. soft voice, even tone, very soft and chill, down to earth nature vibes (basically like one of those monk/mentor characters from the medias) like a huge cuddly bear that could bend metal with his bare hands. his daughter is chill too. like scarily chill. no roughhousing, no tantrums or screaming, the lil thing is like 5-6 years old and is more mature than some teens (reader may or may not be a little concerned and trying to encourage his daughter to be a little rowdy even if she prefers napping on her dads chest more than any game). readers daughter is also really smart for her age, likes technology and numbers while still appreciating nature.

okay now onto the meeting.

Saira rocks up on readers doorstep to offer babysitting services and reader is delighted that he wouldn't have to break himself trying to find someone to look after his little bird(he calls his daughter little bird because she often climbs him and perches on his shoulder). when reader needs to leave for work he brings his daughter over to Saira and meets Stone. greetings are exchanged and reader skeddadles and his daughter is left with them. Saira and readers daughter spend the time playing, doing homework and hanging out (readers daughter is complimenting everything and everyone because she's a kid and has 0 filter). at some point readers daughter and Stone end up in the same room and readers daughter looks at Stone and goes "you should tell my dad to take you on a date" (not ask tell daughter is straight up telling Stone to command reader to take him on a date) if Stone or Saira have any questions about what just came out that child mouth daughter just says that she likes them both and her dad needs a friend. anyway reader comes back, picks up his child, pays Saira hella cash for her services and goes home (maybe brings over some baked goods the next day as thanks and a sign of good will).

(also it would be lowkey hilarious if they met in a different way and readers daughter got protective of her dad when she noticed Stones attraction to her dad and is @Stone like "i know where you live" trying to be all intimidating but it doesn't really work when the person threatening Stone is knee height at best and weighs less than the weights he lifts when working out)

anyway idk what this is. this is just wordwomit at this point i just want Stone to get a hot dilf and for Saira to get a lil sister and a second dad. just found family vibes

Saira would love you daughter, would happily play with her. She's content about not having to deal with rowdy younger kids.

(She swears she wasn't rowdy when she was younger, but Stone has the moments written down in his diaries and he's not afraid to whip those out.)

Thank you very much! I have an incredibly strong connection to my sonas and being a furry in general! My entire queer identity as a person would have been completely different if I didn't manage to find the fandom (if it would have even existed at all). My fursona is even the origin of my irl name, I just used her name to try stuff out, and it really stuck!

And yeah, I really vibe with the monster interpertation of my sona. I really wanted to write more in that post but I didn't have the time or words when I wrote that, and didn't feel like it would add much to the post to go even more in detail about that, it would be a repitition of what they already said

But this is a new post so I can say what I want here

As someone who's autistic and trans, and had major hearing issues when I was younger (I'm fine now, but when I was younger I once lost aroud 90% of my hearing), I was never the type to fit in. I only have ever felt like I fit in in places that are queer and/or neurodivergent (like furry spaces are). I am too familiar with being shunned by average people. Furries really are the best

One specific part about the monster example that really hits in the feels is the fact that I really was seen as scary at school. Because I was autistic, I had autistic meltdowns. And mine manifested in the way of anger issues. I was lost and confused of all the unspoken rules, and that caused me to lash out at the bullies. This was first a reason to bully me more, but when I got older, this got a bit scary. I was genuienly seen like a monster. A monster to try to agitate a little bit to get a ruse, because she was chained to a cage of rules. But the same bars that enchaged her, protected her bullies from being punished for their deeds.

That is why although my sona may seem fierce, she really is a sweetheart, almost motherly (Centipedes in nature are known to be very caring mothers!) Despite being seen as a monster, she is still kind to all. But if you wrong her, or even worse, a fellow monster, she won't hestitate to bite. She is only fierce as a defense mechanism. She does not want to be fierce. She wants to care. But she keeps on being fierce anyway. She had no other choice.

I want to say that I'm currently in the proces of changing into this sona, as my sona was a dragon for a long time. And the more I think about it, she is kinda the person I want to be rather than the person I am right now. And that's completely ok! She is still very close to me, as she is the origin of my irl name. I (still) need something to strive for, and she is the perfect way to do so. Especially when I was a younger queer, unsure of what I wanted out of my body.

To be loved is to be changed. And I am currently loving myself, and my sona.

It's only natrual that she will change a bit. However, she will always be the same creature in my head. After all, I am my sona, and I am all my previous iterations of yesterday -why couldn't she be as herself as well as all of her previous iterations as well?

And while I'd absolutely love to show you the sexy legged beast, the nature of this sona being fairly new means I haven't gotten the time to draw her very much yet, and the one real fullbody of her is nsfw and idk if I can show her because of tumblr rules, but here is a cropped version, and a emote of her being embaressed. (and you can dm for the full! I am not scared to show my full, beautiful body!)

It kinda really sucks that I can't show the full here. A HUGE part of this sona is about the fact that she isn't a particularly girly girl, and that she has a big dick instead of a pussy. But she is still a girl! She might be embarrased about people wanting her, but that's because she is inexperienced! (They are 18+, don't worry) She is confident in her body and showing all of it of, because she knows that there will always be people that will be disgusted by her. But the love she receives by others makes it all worth it.

Honestly I could write a full article on how fursonas and gender (and queer identities in general) are linked. I don't think it's a coincidence that around 1 in 4 to 1 in 3 of every furry is not cisgender. (Less clear source, scroll down for the latest update: https://furscience.com/research-findings/demographics/1-3-sex-and-gender/) Heck, my very first fursona from when I was extremely new to the fandom was a girl- I had no clue back then that I was transgender. All I knew is that it felt right.

Lastly I want to say, despite really vibing with the monster theme, and it really applying to me and my sona, a big part of it (and what I mostly wanna draw with my sona) is trying to accept that we aren't really monsters. We are othered by society, but we are not bad monsters. We are lovely creatures, trying to love our lives like everyone else. We have all sorts of positive traits! I may have trouble understanding everyone, and yes, I am quick to anger. But you know what I also am? Like you said, I AM passionate, loving, and fierce. I am also intelligent, and have great marks in college, and am creative. And most of all, I want everyone in the world to trive to the point where it eats me up inside thinking about the evils in this world. Is that a trait you would say a monster would have?

And again, thank you, I got a couple of asks asking to see my sona because they sounded cool, and it's people like you that make the online world amazing to be in, stay yourself, and love yourself for who you are

Oh gosh I have so many headcanons about the Skittles for when they're older. I've got like, 6-year old vibes and 15-year old vibes.

I'll go with the 6-year olds.

Sanzio is a lot different from Raph. He's quiet, tends to behave himself, stays out of trouble as best he can. He really likes cute things! His favorite color is pink. However, just like his dad, he is very protrective of his brothers. He tends to be the big shield while Bardi is the sword. He loves reading and books! He's not very active because his back hurts a lot and he's still dealing with his lungs being squished by the kyphosis, so he spends most of his time doing things that let him sit or lay down. He's generally low-chaos but will occasionally throw in a curveball and suddenly be leading the charge on the cookie jar.

Bardi, despite talking a lot as a baby, gets quiet as his brothers start talking for themselves. He spends basically all of 1 and some of 2 just never saying a single word. Then he just starts talking in full sentences, and now he won't stop talking again. He loves talking. He loves telling people about his plans. He especially likes drawing things like engines and cars. He is. The MOST chaotic besides Simoni. He and Simoni are the disaster twins of the Skittles. He is used to getting dislocations but still goes to an adult to fix them (something he'll stop doing by 9 and he just starts fixing them himself out of annoyance).

Simoni has at this point learned to keep his tongue in his mouth when he chews or talks, but it's far more comfortable out of his mouth so he usually leaves it there. He's behind on development milestones, so he still can't talk properly in full sentences. At this point one eye has gotten slightly larger than the other, which isn't growing properly. He's very shy about this. Simoni's a lot like Mikey, though, he's generally cheerful and a little menace. High chaos. Tends to know when you're feeling down and will do anything to cheer his family up, but he's also not afraid to get upset and show it himself.

Davinci is the quietest. He does a lot of mimicking others. He's just learning how to be properly active, though he has a wristband that tells him if his heartrate is getting out of range or his 02 drops too low. He's frustrated by this. He likes listening to people talk, which makes him and Bardi a good pair, as Bardi always wants to talk. He's still the smallest of his brothers, and will likely stay that way, so he gets protected by them more often than not. He's the unofficial "baby brother", which frustrates him because his dad's leader, so he should be too.

All of them have a fairly strong moral compass. At this age right and wrong are very black and white for them. Bardi's a little more okay with breaking the rules "for the greater good" while Davinci would never.

I love Apollo:Blood Wars! I’m desperate to see those three get their comeuppance! I know absolutely nothing about daemons but your fix does a great job at conveying the seriousness of the relationship. I wouldn’t of thought that Alec would have a parrot but it makes sense! If you don’t mind elaborating, what was your process for deciding everyone’s daemon?

Tbh, I’m a sucker for any story that recognises the lack of stellar siblingship in shadowhunters. Season one Alec is treated awfully and I love him being appreciated. Like, I get they’re teenagers but surely siblings would know the amount of shite he’s dealing with being acting head.

For some reason, all of my leftover salt for the way Jace and Izzy treat Alec in season 1 came out in this fic, which means it takes some getting used to when I switch over to a fic where they are being good siblings.

Also, I am apologizing for the absolute ramble I'm going to send your way, but in my defense, you asked about the choosing process for the daemons! I'm only going to be mentioning the daemons we already have met to avoid rambling too much.

So, for Alec, I knew I wanted a bird from the get-go, and while I have seen a lot of fanart of Alec holding a raven or a crow I wanted to do something different. Then I just went for personality: I needed it to be an intelligent bird, social and cuddly with those it trusts and loves but picky about handing out that trust and so I ended up choosing a parrot. (I'll admit I was partially influenced by my own parrots, one of which I have heavily based Apollo's quirks on.) Additionally, I thought it was funny to give Alec, who doesn't speak much unless he's at ease, an animal known for talking a lot as a daemon.

For Magnus: Well who else but Chairman Meow could it have been? So, that one didn't take much thought.

Izzy got a black panther because I wanted something graceful, strong, and most of all dangerous. Several characters have daemons that appear harmless - either because of magic or because they're animals we tend to wrongly consider harmless. But, with Izzy, I didn't want that to be the case because Izzy gives me very strong "I'm dangerous. I know I'm dangerous. And I don't hide it" vibes in the series. And so, black panther!

Jace got a lioness (as well as two other forms that haven't been revealed yet!) for similar reasons. I wanted a dangerous animal, prideful if possible and, what with the whole "Jace is one of the best fighters the Clave has seen in years" I needed it to be a King of thee Jungle kind of dangerous so that's how I landed on a lioness for him.

Underhill has a snappy, eastern box turtle: smart, quiet, shy and harmless (at least at first sight). They're often considered solitary creatures, but they can grow really strong bonds with other turtles or their human owners when in captivity, and this ties into my headcanon that Underhill looks like a friendly loner at first (nice and kind but likes to keep to his own) but that he just needs some time to get out of his shell so to speak.

Clary has a dove and a bull (+ one more unrevealed form) the former of which she shares with Valentine. I liked the idea of Valentine using the fact that his daemon is a dove ( a symbol of peace and purity) as a way to further prove his righteousness and moral superiority compared to the rest when he was still starting out with creating the Circle. Clary having that same daemon is also my not-so-subtle way of showing how, despite being very against him in the series, Clary shows a lot of traits that are similar to Valentine. The bull daemon is another - is dangerous, but also fits Clary because of her bullheadedness, I run full speed without thinking of the consequences personality. (Or that's the way I read her at least.)

Jace and Clary's daemons having multiple forms will be dived into further as the story progresses, but it ties back into the whole "all downworlders have something special going on with their daemons" thing.

Kyle (yes I am talking about my OC's and their daemons because I am entirely shameless) has a dumbo rat: friendly, sociable, curious, inquisitive, and very intelligent (which works well with Kyle being the Head of the Investigation Department), cuddly and just all around very affectionate. Basically, they're golden labrador puppies but as rats, which fits Kyle.

Cécile has a Barbados threadsnake (the smallest snake species in the world! They are so cute and smoll!) They're solitary like most snakes and prefer a nocturnal lifestyle. They're non-venomous and prefer to spend most of their time burrowed in soft soil, which again works with Cécile who prefers to be on her own, which is why she spends most of her time working undercover in the mundane world in places where mundanes might unknowingly come into contact with demons.

I'm going to stop my rambling here before I really turn this into a novel, but yeah that is a very rough resume of the thought process I had when choosing the different daemons. :D

I'm ngl between all the winx, I always thought Aisha would be like... more lean than muscled. It's been a while since I've actively watched winx, but her body being more built for flexibility just felt right to me- maybe because she's essentially the fairy of water??? Go with the flow, curve it all around kinda vibe you know.

.......now if anyone in the Winx is buff, it would be Flora and Bloom- Flora because I have seen gardeners and farmers in my lifetime, and their biceps were enough to make me go hoowee mama and Bloom because she hates exercise but she wants to punch her enemies in the face hard enough to permanently damage their nose (Icy).

Musa... idk, she can go either way tbh- buff, stick, lean? She's just vibing. I can't ever imagine Tecna being buff, because... well. On the other hand, her being buff doesn't feel too off to me either. Also Stella has been stuck on the idea of being attractive for years, she'll either be unhealthily thin or happily fat to me- it's the uh. ED projection.

Also ik you were pointing out the obv racism w the fandoms treatment of Aisha, making her the more buff and aggressive girl out of the winx (when uhm. I'm ngl she is Not, pls let's not forget s1-3 Bloom who had no understanding of chill, and Stella who is usually in control of herself but would beat a mf after enough transgressions), but I just wanted to give a brief thought into my own personal thoughts on which of the winx would be buff.

Tbh I don't really see any of the winx being 'buff,' although I do think Bloom being pretty strong makes sense. She just has strong vibes. A couple people have mentioned buff Flora to me, but I think where I differ is that I see Flora as like... a botanist, y'know? Not a farmer/landscaper. That said, I think life on Linphea would probably still be pretty physically active, so she's not unfit either

Musa I can absolutely only imagine as a stick with boobs. I like to imagine her gaining a bit of weight as she gets healthier and gets used to having better access to food, but I genuinely find it hard to picture because she just. Has stick vibes for some reason

I have unpopular opinions on Tecna. Being from an icy planet, it makes NO sense for her to be skinny, and I hc her being into martial arts (Tecna loves punching and smashing, talk to the wall), so I draw her body very similar to mine- someone who retains both muscle and fat readily, so she's very dense and thickly built despite eating and working out fairly little

I think I've talked about this before, but for me an absolutely non-negotiable, fundamental aspect of Stella's character is that her self-esteem is genuine. That she really does love how she looks, that it's the only thing she's not insecure about. It's a HUGE part of what makes her so unique and interesting, so having her worry about her weight? Having her vanity be portrayed as self-destructive instead of self-loving? It's uh. Not my cup of tea

Happily fat Stella is the enlightened man's headcanon (despite the fact that I personally draw her as thin lol)

Note: I will try to make it based on their personality rather than their color but it's still possible to have the same color as the vision, ill just focus more on the personality. This is just my opinion but I'd love to know what you think

VOX AKUMA

- Now I really do think Pyro is fitting for Vox.

- Of course despite the whole Red and Hot Demon theme he's going for. I feel pyro fits him for his passion.

- He's a Demon king who lost his people hundreds of years ago, and now has returned to regain his power and new followers (Us the Kindred ❤️)

- He's a strong and powerful demon, but at times he gets so passionate with the things he loves and you often forget he's actually a big softie with how forward and how big his ego is.

- He has the vibe of protection that is similar to characters like Diluc.

- Seems so tough on the outside but actually has a lot of love in his heart.

I really think Pyro is the best vision, a close second is Geo

IKE EVELAND

- Another one with a vision similar to his color. I think Ike would have a Hydro vision.

- It's mostly for how he's always so calm and level headed.

- He thinks before he acts (unlike some of the other members, I jest)

- His energy is very much like waves and how you just feel so comforted as the water drifts past your legs ever so slightly.

- While Ike can be both chaotic and not, the soft and sweet energy are his most notable feature in my opinion.

Hydro is my best guess, other than that maybe Pryo

LUCA KANESHIRO

- Now I would say Geo, but I actually think of Anemo.

- Yes we know Anemo characters tend to have sad backstories (I mean the rest of the visions pretty much have too)

- But it's mostly cause Luca is so carefree and spontaneous

- I'm torn between both Geo and Anemo honestly (Hah my two favourite elements)

- Geo for how strong and how caring he is, like a shield. But Anemo for how carefree he is like how Anemo have control of the wind

- I'm so sorry Luca and Lucubs but I can't think of anything else, I'd love to add more tho

SHU YAMINO

- Now this might be an odd choice but it's just my opinion but Cryo

- It might just be me but I see Cryo as cunning, and slick

- Have you seen this man play fps games?? He's really cool and he's a clever man.

- I also feel like a lot of times he acts very cool and salm, while at times he can be a handful when he's with his members. I do think he is the least one to have a chaotic element like Electro or Pyro.

- He's a kind man and I don't see him get angry as much (to be fair I am not too familiar with Shu, I'm basing it of on streams and clips I have seen)

- Other than Cyro I think he'd fit with Hydro too

MYSTA RIAS

- Now I think Mysta was the more difficult for me. But I think Mysta would be electro, now I hear that it's often seen as a weaker element. But it's very powerful with the right elemental reaction such as Pyro.

- Now I'm not saying it's cause Mysta is this or that, but I think Mysta is much more happier when he's with close friends.

- I'm an introvert just like him, I get uncomfortable when I'm with others, but when I'm with people who im close with it changes. And I feel as though its the same thing for Mysta.

- I think Mysta is the most happy and comfortable when he's with his genmates or friends like Mika or Shoto. While he claims that he's not good with people and is introverted, if you watch any collab he has with people he trusts its a different case. Similarly with the Electro element

- Yes it's a good element, but it's much more stronger with others.

-Another element I'm thinking of is Dendro (similar reasons)
