One Ok Rock, they're like my favourite band of all time.

It was 2013 when I started listening to them and yesterday for the first time I went to their concert in Florence. Maybe it was the best day of my life so far and I'm very happy to have shared it with a special friend!

The Kodo show was amazing 🖤🥁🖤🥁🖤

#its been 24 hours now but yesh #i was gonna wait til i got on my comp and make a read more post but that didn't happen so its tag rant time #they were sooooo good #the more intense pueces had ne on the edge of my seat and i enjoyed every min #also they used the baseball bat bachi several times which i really wanna do lol #they also had this pice where they made the shime sound like wind it was insane #there was also a pice where dancers were the center piece which ive never seen at a taiko show really #also a couple of songs with singers which is like less common they had serious pipes too #anyway back to drimming theyre so skilled i only hope i can be somewhat as good in many years form now tbh but its inspiring #and tgey did a lot of the on the ground and leaning back playing which their stamina impressed me cause they also played some intense stuff #it was a great show #im super glad i caught them on thir tour it had been a while #and it was just wow #ill never get tired of watching taiko its just the coolest especially when more experienced players are taking it to another level #like i wish my job was taiko ngl practice can be tiring but if i could just do it no day job in the way it would rock #but ill keep working on it as i am now but man seeing two really pro groups lately has me dreaming lol #taiko #talks

Every so often I’ll be idly doing things and a thought turns to my One True Love (snacks) (don’t worry, scone’s One True Love is also snacks; we’re on the same page) and I’ll think about my current favorite snack (potato chips) and go “man there was a chip that was like a little sweet and very savory-umami but not too salty and also the perfect amount of vinegary… it was like bbq chips but like the BEST version of bbq chips because I don’t really like bbq chips… what flavor was it???”

And then I remember that it was all-dressed chips from Canada.

Dammit.

#Vancouver was great #I loved where our Airbnb was #I wish it hadn’t been quite so snowy so we could take the bus more #the food was incredible #and those FUCKING ALL DRESSED CHIPS #god.#my next trip to Canada is in a year #how many bags of all-dressed chips can I cram into my suitcase after ASA in Ottawa #kind of like the cheese and onion chips in the Netherlands #they were more oniony than cheesy but neither flavor was overpowering #they were sooooo good #and then I tried to get something similar here and it was like CHEESE!!! ONION!!! when I just want cheese. onion.#thank god for dill pickle chips.

viola and i basically inhaled the blueberry muffins we made yesterday

which means i am currently sad bc we don't have any muffins left 😔
