sometimes i want to cry bc for yeeeaaarrrssss i had the suspicion that my grandma (not actually grandma but i consider her my gma) was gay, mostly bc she never married or had kids. and today at lunch my dad started talking about how the only man that my grandma actually liked (instead of tolerated) was her dad... he said that he thought she might have had some trauma with men or something, which is entirely possible. he also said she might have had like an inferiority complex or something at her size (these last yrs she was pretty overweight, and when she was younger she was also on the chubby side). but the fact that he considered that she had trauma w men or self-doubts about her image instead of thinking she mightve been a lesbian....... like ok

one thing I will miss about Twitter is its character limit
280 characters was basically the perfect length to storyboard out the dialogue for little 2000s webcomic sorts of scenarios for my OCs, which is something I did frequently to both introduce the characters and to brainstorm new facets of their personalities
it was a writing exercise for me to sort of brainstorm what my OCs are like and what they might be doing in between chapters of my books, but it was also just enough room for me to establish a scene, set up a joke, and deliver a punchline (provided you already know who, say, Lyla is)
I’m usually a verbose and over-explaining sort of person, which is fine by me, but that character limit had me thinking in a whole new way

It's me, Nilnaea! I've recently remembered that I have this blog. There's this Our Generation doll named 'Lin', which I thought was a cute and fun coincidence (she wasn't one of the dolls I ended up choosing, but maybe another time).
Nilnaea! Hello! I haven't seen you in what feels like forever! Hope you're doing well!
Full honesty I have no clue what you're talking about with dolls, but the Lin is a nice coincidence! Misspelled that as Linh out of habit, I'll never escape keeper. Okay I'm currently on the Our Generation site and I cannot believe they don't have a Sophie. That feels like such a generic name that it must've been used, and yet it was not. No Amy either!
Anyway I'm looking at Lin (which I once again habitually spelled as Linh -_-) and I like that one of the recommended accessories for her is a "Fjord Norwegian Foal". Our Linh would love a fjord norwegian foal they're so right.
I hope you enjoy whichever doll(s) you did choose! I think it's neat that one of them kinda shares a name with Linh, even though they don't look alike. Still cool to see keeper names out in the wild--I bought this one little squishmallow specifically because it's named Dexter, even though it doesn't look like Dex at all (it's a green dragon). He's currently on my bookshelf face first in the books :)
this is very fun, thank you for sharing and it's nice to hear from you!
