btw did i ever mention how my first ear piercing was done manually with a needle and no anesthetic and it was kinda fucked up

#sorry for the ear rants today im kinda having flashbacks /lh #ramble #personal #i think this is where my fear of 1) needles 2) being forcefully held in place started💀💀#like my aunt is a doctor so when i was 11 my mom decided that it'd be cheaper to have HER pierce my ears at home-#-than go get it done professionally #and it probably would've been perfectly fine. if the anesthetic worked on me. or if they at the very least listened to me when i said it-#-wasn't working. bc apparently it was one of those 'only works on some' ones.#so my mom held me in place while aunt slowly pierced each of my ears and tbh all i remember is crying and them yelling at me #i threw up at some point #THEN when she was finally done and tried to put in the prepared loop earrings it turned out that she made the holes too small #so she spent a few minutes trying to force them through open wounds that were too small #before they finally gave up bc i was abt to faint #then afterwards i had to wait like a year for the holes to heal THEN get it done professionally like a normal fucking human💀💀#yippee doctor trauma!!#i love traumadumping at 2:30am!!!!!!!!!!

I'm still quite sick so I took today off and promptly slept in till noon and woke up feeling like I hadn't slept at all. Yesterday I could manage comics but today I can't focus on anything but doodling Jake the dog. truly a character design of all time. So long as you get the mouth and eyes approximately right you can do anything. If you fuck it up he just looks possessed or drugged or maybe cursed. as soon as I figure out how to draw a pterodactyl I'm going to make him a pterodactyl. I understand why people were so obsessed with him now. what a good little dude.

Well at least it’s not the disk :’)

#my brother actually troubleshooted my Rayman 3 problem with me #for those who missed it: I bought a copy but our PS3s aren’t compatible so we borrowed our aunt/uncle’s PS2 #(since I got a PS2 copy)#but it won’t load anything past the opening cutscene #it’s just stuck on the loading screen #my brother said the disk looks good since he actually took a look at it #I also have no idea the quality of the PS2 #my aunt/uncle just had it in their basement and gave it to us #so there might be something wrong with the disk reader #I might double check the disk myself tomorrow #and if I confirm that it’s in good condition then I’m probably gonna have to message my aunt/uncle and tell them that it’s not working #(siiiiiiiiigh) this is so disappointing…

now that I’m having some semblances of thoughts I think that it would have been neat if Sabrina and Daphne found some of Henry’s and Jake’s old clothes in their room at Relda’s house cause c’mon she would keep all of those and like there wouldn’t be any reason for them to just be gone y’know? also I think that Daphne would’ve loved to try on some of Relda’s hats and maybe been given some of her old jewelry and stuff!!!
