You didn’t want to see him again.
The last time you saw Conrad Fisher, he had walked out your house like the asshole he was, while tears slid down your face. Conrad was a lot of things— complicated, messy, and aggravating— but he was also sweet.
But alas, here you were standing outside of the summer house while Belly and Jeremiah went inside to talk to Conrad. Quite frankly, you didn’t want to be here, but this was Susannah’s house. You weren’t going to let Conrad or Jeremiah deal with this alone.
When you walked into the house, memories flooded through your head in an instant. Conrad, Susannah— every single summer you and the others had spent here— it was all too much. Still, you walked forward.
Conrad’s voice was the first you heard. Then Belly’s, and then Jeremiah’s. You caught his gaze first.
Conrad’s.
He looked a little different, more sad. You wondered if he thought you looked different as well— good different? You also knew you shouldn’t be thinking that, but you couldn’t help it.
“What,” Conrad said, “is she doing here?” his voice was menacing, deadly. A small part of you had believed it would be different.
“Connie,” Jeremiah warned.
“She’s here because she cares.” Belly shook her head. “And you can deny that all you want Conrad, but we’re here to help you.”
Conrad’s eyes wandered around the room until he met mine, and then, he spoke, “Fine. Fuck it. But i’m not doing this right now.”
At least he’s okay with it?
But looking at him again, seeing him like this, all you wanted to do was console him.
You couldn’t just be his friend. You knew that.

The pool was always a favorite spot of yours at night. Usually, you would swim until your arms were sore and then you would retire for the night. A tradition you and Belly had shared.
But now, your legs dangled in pool while you smoked a joint. Conrad had slightly influenced you to do so last summer before you started dating, and while he may not smoke anymore, you hadn’t dropped that habit as easily as he had.
Conrad opened the door, but he stopped when he saw you. At first, he stared, as if you couldn’t have been real, but then he tore his gaze from yours.
Those pretty eyes.
“Smoking?” Conrad snorted. “That’s funny.”
You blew out a puff. “I had an asshole for a teacher.” The smirk you gave Conrad was patronizing, and his face was absolutely priceless.
“Why are you here, yn?” Conrad tone shifted to something much angrier, more serious.
“For the same reason Belly and Jeremiah are,” You said. “If you can’t handle your ex being here, maybe you need to grow up.”
“Cut the bullshit, yn.” Conrad walked closer to you. “You didn’t have to come. You—”
“Fuck you, Conrad.” You stood up, now more angered than ever. “You ruined us. Don’t act like I was the one who broke up with you. At my prom? Really?” You remember the way he broke your heart, and the way steven, your brother Tate, and Belly had consoled you.
Love is embarrassing as hell.
Conrad sighed. Such pretty features for a tortured boy. “Don’t be like that, yn.” He ran a hand through his ragged hair. “What do you want me to say? That we can be friends?”
That was laughable, because out of all the things Conrad Beck Fisher could have said, he chose to say that. You had a truth, but you decided to sit in silence.
“We can’t be friends, ever.” And you said it in a way that made sure he wouldn’t forget that. “Friends aren’t in love with each other.”
Conrad stared at you, looking like he was contemplating something. And then, he grabbed your face and smashed his lips against yours.
The kiss was desperate, feverish, and you wanted it to last forever. You ran a hand through his hair and he let out a groan. You missed that.
When he pulled away, he only said one thing.
“I’m glad, because I can’t be your friend either.”

K so there’s this guy i was talking to for a lil bit his name was BRANDON im exposing him cause he was an actual dickhead andddd i only began talking to him because my sister knew his sister and she was like he’s rlly nice you should talk to him blahhhh and i was like noooo but she gave him my number and he texted me and i had no clue who he was so i texted him back
Long story short i had a convo w him and he called me and he was fine i didn’t like him romantically but we had decent conversation so i would hang out with him from time to time cause he lived close and we become good friendssss we hung out often and he would call me a lot but i NEVER liked this man the way he liked me and i was very verbal with it like he tried making many moves like reaching for my hand or fixing my hair for me or whatever and i used to be like Uuuuughhhhh gross but he kept doing it bc he liked my literal disgusted reaction LMFAOOO
But anyway he noticed i started to get distant like three months in because he started to make too many moves and i didn’t fw that and i didn’t mind losing him as a friend at all so i just went a lil ghost then he texted me a freaky ass paragraph explaining all the things he likes about me saying he sees me in everything and everything he listens to or watches reminds me of him or whatever and saying to give him like one chance and listen this guy wasn’t ugly AT ALL he was very tall and he resembled Vinnie hacker a bit like same features😭😭😭 But i just could not like him in that way so despite the nice/creepy message or whatever i was still like Nooo i don’t really like you like that and then he called me and explained some more and was like can we just hang like one more time nothing romantic i just wanna be able to talk and have a drink with u so i was like okay im not declining a free drink bc im a slut
Anyways
I see him like a week later and we hang and then we go back to his car and we were gonna bar hop (I was kinda drunk and he was fake drinking. Literally completely sober while ordering me drink after drink which was crazy asl) But i noticed he wasn’t on my level so i told him let’s go to a different bar whatever so we’re in his car now and we’re in a literal empty ass parking garage bc he parked on the highest level and it was like 1am at this time
He brings up the fact that he fw me a lot again and despite me being tipsy i was still like listen broooooo you’re just my friend and i like fw u but i do NAWTTTT want a relationship in general let alone with you and then he’s like getting frustrated and he’s like “But i literally do everything for you” And starts complaining and yapping or whatever and im like falling asleep listening to this man im like Listen Bruh im either gonna fall asleep in this car or we’re going to go home bc i ain’t having this convo and then he started threatening me and was like “If you fall asleep you won’t wake up” And that was literally enough for me to take out my phone and text my sister to get me an uber but i did it casually by laughing at him and i was like “Whatever man” While texting her 😭😭😭 But i was tripping lowkey
Anyways he did have a weapon on him and he was going to use it if i didn’t just feed into his delusion and start saying “I do like you im just messing around” 😁 So i basically just acted flirty and shit until i knew i had a ride then i leaned over and unlocked his doors while like kissing his shoulder and left LMFAOOOOOO the ops were AFTER HIM🤍 But to be honest i don’t know if he suffered a consequence actually

My thoughts on S2 Ep 7
• I was not expecting Laurel to be so mad at Belly once she got to the Cousins house, if anything I thought she would be worried sick about her after hearing her voice mail that she was crying in but I haven’t really been paying attention to how Laurel was acting around Belly at home so I guess I would have expected her to be mad if I paid more attention.
• Belly saying “I know you hate me for it, okay? But you will never hate me as much as I hate myself.” Made me cringe bc it reminds me of that one scene from Euphoria that became a meme and it also just screams stereotypical teenager and main character energy
• Laurel slapping Belly was shocking and honestly kinda traumatizing! I felt traumatized for Belly :(
• ‼️THERE IS NOTHING LEFT BETWEEN BELLY AND CONRAD‼️ I’m so glad Belly said it herself
• Laurel saying “I’m just glad your mom isn’t here to see what you guys did to her house” really rubbed me the wrong way bc that’s like saying she’s glad that Susannah is dead which I know is not what she means but still
• I understand how Aunt Julia’s relationship with her family effects how she feels about the beach house but I still don’t think that she should have sold it bc Conrad and Jeremiah need it to feel like their mom is still there and to help them grieve. I’m glad she decided to pullout of the sale, though :)
• Jeremiah picking Belly up and swinging her around was so cute🥺💓
• Conrad: “I hate the thought of you looking back on the night that we spent here together and regretting what we did.”
Me: “I DO!!”
Belly: “Of course it hurts to think about that night. But I don’t regret it, I don’t regret any of the times we were together.”
Me: “I DOOO!!!!”
• BELLY USED THE PAST TENSE SHE USED THE PAST TENSE WHEN TALKING ABOUT HOW SHE LOVED CONRAD!!!!!
• “I don’t want to hurt you again either. I mean I don’t know if it’s something we can control, but, um…we can try. Friends?” FRIENDSSS JUST FRIENDSSSS THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE BETTER OFF AS FRIENDS, NOT JEREMIAH AND BELLY🗣
• God, I hate Adam Fisher. At least he agreed to sell their Boston house so they could afford to keep the beach house🙄
• “This will be the last thing I do for Conrad Fisher: get him to Stanford. Once he’s there, maybe we can finally let each other go.” I don’t know how Bonrad shippers can ignore Belly’s inner thoughts and convince themselves that she will end up with Conrad in season 3 when it’s clear that she no longer has feelings for him and Jenny Han has said that she might change the ending so I’m 90% sure that Jelly is endgame
• The way Jere and Belly interacted before and after taking a nap was sooo cuutteee!! And omg him wrapping his arms around her from behind while they walked to the kitchen was so 💓💓💓
• “So it’s a reward system. What else do I get?” Ew, hearing that from Conrad gave me the ick🤢 it was like those guys that say “Where my hug at?”
• I’m watching this episode for the second time and I just noticed that Steven was watching Belly and Conrad as she gave him the practice test that she made and I remember how Steven tells Conrad that he thought there was “a vibe” between them but there really wasn’t, I think Belly was a little flustered bc she wasn’t expecting Conrad to be standing right behind her when she turned around to give him the practice test. There was no “vibe”
• It’s so obvious that Belly was going to tell Conrad that she’s been having feelings for Jeremiah. If you pay attention to the hints that were dropped earlier in the episode like her using “love” in the past tense and saying there’s nothing between her and Conrad and then telling Conrad that they could start again as friends and then there’s all these cute scenes between her and Jeremiah it’s obvious that she was going to say “I’ve been having feelings for Jeremiah” before she saw that Conrad fell asleep.
• Steven says that a couple of days ago he would have told Conrad to stay away from Belly and he would have threatened physical violence against him “but people change”??? After watching episode 8 and then watching this episode again it’s obvious that Conrad isn’t going to change. Steven should be noticing how Belly looks at Jeremiah and how happy she looks when he’s around her, not hoping that the guy who broke his sister’s heart can get back with her again.
Again, I am going to pitch the possibility of Steven x Conrad, Stonrad or Conven, if you will.
• Steven to Belly: “trust your gut, is all I’m saying, in every regard” oh Steven you are not gonna see the result that you think you’re gonna see
• There was tension between Belly and Jere the whole time that they visited Finch and I’m SO happy that they finally kissed at the end! Jere really couldn’t stop kissing her!💞 I just wish Conrad hadn’t interrupted them so they could continue.
Belly does not love Conrad anymore, she has feelings for Jeremiah now!
