(and, because it wouldn't be a post of mine, after all, without a long footnote: to be clear, villentretenmerth was inspired by the legend of the dragon of wawel hill, and when people (meaning: netflix) erroneously claim that he was inspired by asian dragons instead, and mention nothing of this krakówian dragon nor the cobbler twiney whom defeated it, it actually kind of ticks me off, not only because i find it lazy, but also because the whole point of villentretenmerth's character is that he's a subversion of the type of cruel, greedy dragon from european mythology... however, i'm setting all of this aside momentarily, because since i was born in 2000, my zodiac is that of a golden dragon, and because i also happen to be a witcher fan... i call for borch-posting)

OHHHHH THIS IS SUCH A GOOD QUESTION DONT MAKE ME CHOOSE BETWEEN ALL 78 OF MY WIVES....... i really do adore his female characters because truly madly deeply they are ALL UNHINGED in some capacity and that is the chief quality i look for in a woman. it's VERY close but i think in the end it's gotta be either nastasya filippovna or grushenka <333 honorable mentions list is too long but dunya, lise khokhlakova, and varvara stavrogina are also very dear to me—i just really really love morally complex women with devastating backstories who do bad things especially out of self-hatred/self-sabotage, extra especially if those bad things are to men <3 nastasya & grushenka did nothing wrong

finally put down some basic design for Thorne! hopefully ill be able to develop her design more in the future but this works for now

introducing another android - she's a side character but with a pretty important role both in the "underground" society of androids outside of the system, as well as working with androids and humans within corporations and government. she maintains a network of spies and informants and despite no-one knowing how she got here, she holds her position with an iron grip. her motivations for doing what she does are her own, and she keeps her private life very close to her chest. she's not above getting her hands dirty if it means it will protect her and the people she cares for.

she works closely with Lyudmila, an android within human society who feeds her information who i hope i can introduce soon as well, and Ava, who's her right hand woman though others usually refer to them as "Thorne's attack dog"

in terms of actual physical age she's around 60 years old model, younger generation than Wolfgang. she lost her arm in similar circumstances they lost their ring finger. despite identifying as her assigned gender, she shaped her body over the years into a form that she prefers - contrary to her original design.

Wolfgang has a hunch that she's the one responsible for selling them out all those years ago which led to them being held captive and tortured for years with no contact with the outside world, but they haven't been able to find proof. as such they continue to work together out of necessity rather than camaraderie.

I don't think my pothead neighbor actually knows how to smoke weed. He's out on his porch with a blunt and is straight up hacking his lungs up. He sounds like he's severely ill. But nope. This is just the morning routine. Wake up and inhale that pot smoke in, apparently, the most painful way, tears in his eyes, SoundCloud rap in his (and everyone else's because goddamn does this guy not understand he lives in an apartment) ears, hope in his heart.
