Soul Crushing Guilt

You've treated them all like toys. In your defence this was just another video game to you a couple of weeks ago, but they're actually real with thoughts and feelings of their own. You don't know how to feel.

Who’s Here! Venti

Note: I will say this takes place in the middle of a story, but it works on its own and I really liked how this turned out. I do have more written, but it's incomprehensible (even after a whole year it's still incomprehensible lmao)

Sitting on the cliffside of Starsnatch is not where you intended to be at this time, but your soul crushing guilt and insecurities have led you here. You needed to be away from all the positivity from everyone in Mondstadt. Their kindness was only worsening your mood. Staring over the edge, lost deep inside your head, you almost miss the way the wind whirls around you before you hear the one person you wanted to avoid the most right now.

“There you are! I’ve been looking for you everywhere. Why’d you leave without saying anything? Everyone back at Mond is worried, you know.”

You don’t say anything in response and let Venti walk up and sit next to you. You both stay silent and watch the waves crash onto the beach. Venti occasionally takes glances in your direction, but for the most part his eyes are on the scenery. After a few minutes, he tries asking you again.

“I know you told us that we aren’t overwhelming you, but please, if we actually are-”

“That’s not the reason I left Venti.”

“Then what is it?”

Silence is all that greets him. “Please, we just want you to be comfortable with us. We can’t help if we don’t know.”

Hearing him say that only makes you feel more guilty. They’re all so nice to you, and for what? The pressure and the guilt keeps building and building the more you stay here. Everyone’s been so understanding and kind, but all you’ve done before is use them any which way. You’ve judged them for superficial reasons and have even gotten them killed on numerous occasions. Venti showing up and putting the blame on himself and the others like they’re the reason you left just adds onto your shame as tears start to escape your eyes.

Upon seeing your eyes water, Venti slightly panics. “W-Wait, why are you crying!? I’m sorry for whatever-”

“Venti please stop.”

You turn to look Venti in the eyes, and see the panic and worry etched onto his face. It only makes you feel worse.

“Venti… Why are you here? Why do you keep following me?’ You look away from him, trying to keep from balling on the spot. ‘Why are you so nice to me?”

Hearing this, Venti’s face slowly scrunches in confusion. “What do you mean? Of course, I’m going to be nice to you. Where is this coming from?”

“You were conscious the entire time I was playing. I used you all like you were dolls for my amusement. After I got you, didn’t you feel like I was holding you captive or-or like some sort of toy forced to do my bidding? I don’t understand why no one hates me! I feel so guilty of everything I’ve said and done, but everyone’s apologizing to me like they’re in the wrong, and I don’t get it! Especially you! As the God of Freedom, don’t you hate me for taking away your own freedom from you? I just don’t understand… So why…” Unable to continue, you look away as you try to wipe your eyes and wait for Venti to finally tell you he hates you. That he’s going to stop pretending and get up and leave you alone. In your mind you know he would never, that's not who he is, but fear and anxiety is irrational.

Your breath hitches as you feel his hands land on your cheeks and turn your head to look at him. Instead of the disgust or apathy your heart was expecting, Venti’s face is filled with sorrow.

“I can’t believe you would think so low of me.’ He looks downwards and wipes away a few tears with his thumbs before looking back at you with nothing but care. ‘I guess from your point of view that’s a reasonable assumption to make, but you seem to be forgetting one key detail.”

You stare at him as he proceeds to give you the smuggest look you’ve ever seen on him. “I came home extremely early on my banner, didn’t I?”

What he’s saying doesn’t make any sense to you. He’s already treating you extremely differently than you anticipated, and now his question is putting your already malfunctioning brain into overdrive. What did his banner have to do with anything?

“What? Venti I-I don’t understand. What are you trying to…’ Finally, it all starts to click into place as your eyes widen, and his stupid grin gets larger. ‘You… Did you influence the banner wishes???”

Venti laughs joyously as he lets go of your face. His eyes sparkle like he’s recounting the best moment of his life.

“Why yes, I did! I actually got in a lot of trouble for that! It's part of the reason you lost the next 50/50, but I couldn’t miss the chance to join your team. I refused to wait another second.”

“But why? I still don’t under-”

“I have the freedom to make my own choices, do I not? I wanted to join your team, so I did.”

His expression changes from smug to such a soft look. You have a hard time believing it is being directed at you.

“Why, yes, I may be the God of Freedom, but I’m also simply one of the many characters this game has to offer. I’m one of your many characters in particular. And out of such a colourful cast of individuals, I was your favourite. To be the reason someone even downloaded our game in the first place sends me over the moon. For everyone else, you still give their lives a purpose and have earned everyone’s respect. Sure, you might be a bit crass, but even when you were rude or made a mistake, you still treated everyone with more care than necessary. I especially could feel and hear the level of adoration you had for me through the screen. To me, there’s nothing I want more than to travel by your side for as long as you’ll have me.”

Such a heartwarming and earnest speech from Venti has your eyes start to water again. Not all of your insecurities and guilt have been lifted, you don’t think that kind of guilt will be something you can get rid of, but with Venti here…

“You’re allowed to stay for as long as you want.”

He cups your cheeks again while looking straight into your eyes.

“Then till death do we part, my dear player.”

You break down and cry as Venti pulls you in for a hug. With Venti by your side, you know he’ll help you through your guilt with as much care and love as you’ve given him.

"I like your long hair"

"Sorry what was that?"

"Huh?" you blinked back at him, acting as if you never said anything. Afraid he heard your words earlier, you just shook your head in response.

"Oh sorry I thought you said something, anyways should we get the waffles with ice cream or cookies with ice cream?" Mark asks you, while his gaze returns to the menu board in front of you

"Cookies and ice cream please" you answer, smiling up at him even though he can't see you. It seems like you can't keep your eyes off of him, and if you keep this going you're going to be in big big trouble.

And that's how you found yourself sitting on the living room couch at 2am in the morning, too lost in your thoughts and a sleepy Taeyong walking out of his room.

Taeyong's soul almost left his body when he finally saw your figure sitting in the middle of the living room this late at night, "Geez, what are you doing sitting out here?"

"Can't sleep"

Taeyong walks to the kitchen to grab what he came out here for, a bottle of water. Grabbing another for you before walking back to the living room to sit beside you.

"Something bothering you?" he asks

"Mark"

Your brother just chuckles at your answer, already having an inkling as to why you're here sleepless over the boy.

"And what about Mark?"

"Has he always been that likeable?" you ask, taking your frustrations out on the bottle cap. Inserting more effort than needed, almost crushing the top of the bottle.

"I mean I guess, he's always been the head boy kinda guy you know. Never turned a homework late, he helps the elderly cross the street. I think he really is spiderman" he jokes, you let out a light laugh

"But I think that's not what you meant with your question, do you perhaps like him?" he adds the question, seeing you whip your head towards him so fast

"Me??? Wha- I - NO" you stuttered, and that was enough of an answer for your brother to understand just what's happening.

"Okay, so you weren't totally thinking about your little hangout today?" he smiles at you, as the big brother he should be saying something along the lines of 'stay away from boys' but he can see how the smile never leaves your face whenever Mark enters the same room as you.

"No, I wasn't. We just got ice cream" you mumbled

"Oh okay, just ice cream"

That was the first time you really really considered you might have feelings for your friend. You brushed it off, sweeping your feelings under the rug.

The second time came in stronger than the first, you almost thought you were going to fold and give in then and there.

It was when you were hanging out with other friends, just talking and catching up. Haechan was telling a story then Mark butts in with a joke only funny to him and apparently to you. It was one of those moments when everyone went quiet while you continued on laughing making everyone turn to you with a mixture of looks.

Karina looks over at you with a confused look, the same as Jeno and Renjun. Haechan looked at you with disbelief on his face, not believing you really think Mark's joke is funny. While Mark was just staring at you, a small smile tugging at the ends of his lips while listening to you giggle from across him.

When you stopped and looked up, everybody was looking at you. Feeling conscious under everyone's gaze, your cheeks feeling warmer and warmer by the second.

"What?" you ask, "Nothing, you just-" Haechan was about to say something when Mark cuts him off

"Anyone wants pizza?" Mark suddenly asks, catching the attention this time. You silently thank him for that. The guys immediately shouting their orders, meanwhile Karina nudges you on the side

"What was that?" she whispers

"Huh? What?"

"That little moment with Mark?"

"What moment?" you asked back, "You were the only one laughing and he was sitting there looking at you like you're the one who hung up the stars in his sky"

"It was funny"

"Is it? Was the joke really funny or are you just in love with Mark?"

Karina's question bounced inside your mind for the next days to come. So many times, many many times you told yourself no. You don't like Mark. He's just a friend.

But then you see him and suddenly it's like your favorite song plays in the background, the sun shines a little brighter, everything feels warm and cozy.

"Hey there you are, I was looking for you" you didn't even notice Mark, too lost in your own thoughts you didn't notice him approach you.

"You were?"

"Yea, want to go grab ice cream? or coffee? You look a bit down" he says, before you could answer though he hold his hand up. Inching closer to you, he then takes the hair that fell on your face tucking it behind your ear with a smile.

And just like that, you knew.

Just like that you realize you're falling in love.

"Earth to Y/N?" he says, tilting his head sideways with a hint of worry in his eyes

"Sorry, I'm just distracted these past few days"

"Penny for your thoughts?" he ask with a crooked smile making you fall a little bit more.

"What do you do when you realize you like someone but you can't tell them?" you ask back

Mark didn't expect that question, wondering who got you thinking like that. Do you like someone? Are you that unsettled with your feelings that you look so stressed about it

He brushes of his own thoughts to focus on you, "Well, I guess I'll just go and tell them. Shoot my shot" he chuckles at the last part knowing full well he's not the one to shoot any shot at all.

"Easy for you to say, everybody likes you" you mumble

"Everybody?" Mark teases you, trying to break the tension

"I mean you know you're easy to like" with each word coming out of your mouth you know you're just digging yourself into a deeper hole

"Am I?" he raises a brow at you, teasing you further

"This conversation is not going anywhere, you're just teasing me now"

"Hey no come back, I was just playing" he holds you back by your wrist, effectively halting your step. He looks up at you with those eyes you always seem to get lost into.

"It's not hard to like especially when it's you. You're kind, responsible, humble. Even your jokes are funny"

That's how Mark knew you liked him. No one will say he's funny, Jisung maybe but only on a good day. This made him realize you're talking about him, fighting back the smile about to break out on his face.

"Only you would think my jokes are funny"

"They are!"

He laughs at your answer, standing up so this time you're the one looking up at him.

"When I like someone, I just want to spent lots of time with them. I would ask her to hang out with me after class, get some ice cream after a long day or walk with her home while she rants about her professor who gave her a B in this exam she studied so hard for. I'd make the stupidest joke even though no one else finds it funny but her because her laugh makes it worth it"

It took a good few moments to get what he was saying, while Mark just waits for you to get there. Smiling fondly at you.

The moment you do get it, he knew

"Oh"

"Yea"

"Oh wow uhm" you can't really find the words to say so he helps you out, giving you the time to collect yourself.

"You don't have to say anything, no rush. I like the way we are right now, and if what I think you're thinking right now is right then that's good. I feel the same way, so don't be too in your head worrying over nothing. It's just me, you can tell me anything"

"Anything"

"Was that a joke?"

"Sorry I was trying to lighten the mood" you say, Mark finding you so adorable he had to stop himself from scooping you up in his arms right now.

"How about we get some ice cream?" he asks you, holding out his hand for you to take. It makes you wonder just how you fell so easily, then you remember who you fell for and every thing made sense.

2023 in Mittens Fic

It's once again time for the annual accounting of things I have written! I think this year's total fic count, at 4, is my lowest ever, but I still managed more words than my two lowest years (peak pandemic, i loathe you still).

For reference, past year end summaries can be found here:

2022 | 2021 | 2020 | 2019 | 2018 | 2017 | 2016 | the closest thing I have to a 2015 wrap up post is the lil bit of text at the bottom of 2016′s post… even though my two most popular fics were from 2015 lololol

So I guess my main writing goal for 2024, since I know I will never surpass my 2015 totals, is to just do better than I did in 2023. Here's to more fic!

I managed a Pinefest fic, a fic I started for DCBB but didn't finish by the draft deadline and posted on my own, an annual destielversary fic, and an annual holiday fic. I think that's the bare minimum of what I try to aim for in a year, so even if I'm personally disappointed I didn't get anything else written in addition to that bare minimum, I'm glad I was at least able to hit that goal. Across this year's four posted fics, there's a total of 110,875 words.

Also, again slightly cheating, but since I've mentioned it for the past two years, I'm still making the @spngeorg podcast! In case the millions of words of meta I've written over the years aren't enough, and you want to hear me yell out loud about the show, you can start from the beginning on Spotify or wherever you enjoy podcasts! Or if that sounds daunting, since I just uploaded Episode 138, 7.12 Time After Time, which makes the backlog a lot to catch up on honestly, you're also welcome to just jump in now. Everyone please come yell with me! I swear, if you do start from the beginning, that I get dramatically better at this whole thing as we go on... at least, I think I have. If nothing else, episodes are far more manageably shorter now that I've developed a system. Only took 2 1/2 years, but here we are... :'D

With that business out of the way, let's break down those numbers! Presented in the order they posted:

Dear Western Red Cedar #2409 (63,433 words rated M) Written for @deancaspinefest with gorgeous art by @alexiescherryslurpy, and inspired by this tumblr post that had been plaguing my imagination for several years. It's a two person love triangle with Forest Ranger and secret bestselling author Dean and small town librarian Cas. Heck I want to go reread it just thinking about it now... this is a happy place fic for me.

one working part (40,051 words, rated E) I started this for DCBB, but failed to make the draft deadline, then finished it before posting began anyway... another canon finale fix-it fic, but this one is heavily It's A Wonderful Life flavored and based on a conversation I had with @greywrenn last year. This story picks up at the beginning of 15.19, and then slowly veers more and more from canon, running alongside canon and making rude hand gestures at canon along the way, because they all deserved to have nicer things than canon gave them.

all the time in the world (1,289 words, rated T) This is my annual Destielversary story, short and sweet. It's set immediately after the events of One Working Part, but you don't have to have read that to enjoy this one. Just know Cas is back with Dean, and they've got the rest of their lives stretched out in front of them.

Christmas, Present (6,102 words, rated T) My annual holiday fluff fic, this time set in an AU, since most of my past holiday fic has been canon universe. A Dean/Cas college AU, with Matchmaker Charlie who just wants her friends to be happy already!

And that's my year in fic (unless I manage to post something else in the next 33 hours or so, and lol no that ain't happening...)! As per usual, I've already written more than half of this year's word total for the 2024 Pinefest, which will post in March... or april... heck when is my posting date even... it's coming soon anyway! But it's all written! :'D

Once again, I've still got so many more stories I want to write. Even the To Be Written list has grown again. My idea list long ago surpassed SABLE status, and yet now there's even more on it...

It's five pages, and two thousand words longer than it was last year. this just gets worse every year :'D

But that means I'll never run out of things to write, and that's always something to celebrate!

It had been a few weeks since my endeavour with Dream. I was expecting more contact with him from that moment. Sadly, that wasn't the case. Instead, I was being ghosted by him.

I tried to not let it bother me, but it really did. 'God, why did I have to be such a slut,' I thought to myself. Insulting myself for making such a stupid decision. 'Of course, this is how it would end.'

"Y/n! Oh, I'm so happy to see you!" arms were thrown around me the moment I stepped into the arrivals area. The two of us almost falling over from the force as what breaks me out of my train of thought. "Juny!" giggling I drop my suitcases. Wrapping my arms tightly around the taller girl. Her black hair up in a messy bun. I could tell she hadn't slept all night. "I'm so happy to be here! Oh!" when she finally let go of me, she giggled giddily.

"Okay, let's go! Charlee and Emmy are already waiting at home. I hope you're hungry. They're going to make you dinner," Juny took one of my bigger suitcases. Leaving me with a big and small suitcase. Did I have a lot of stuff? Yes. Was I ashamed? No. I am quick to follow her as she leads the way.

I had never been to America, so walking around the Orlando airport was a whole new experience. Which also meant I had not fucking idea where to go. Having Juny as my guide was very helpful.

Once in the car I decided to start streaming. I hadn't told anyone yet that I moved. The only info I shared was that I wouldn't be streaming or uploading videos for a bit, which was a week ago. Right after I made that announcement is when my pc and entire setup was being safely shipped to the US.

When I say I hadn't told anyone, I meant anyone. The only people who knew were the girls and my family. And with Dream ghosting me, I was definetly not telling him.

"Hello, hello, Streamies!" I called out at my phone the moment I saw viewers come in and start talking in the chat. "How are you all? I missed you guys so much!" I pause to read the chat a little bit. Messages skimming by. "Yes I am in a car," I giggle at the comment. "No, I'm not driving, I promise, I wouldn't stream and drive. Anyways, I am so glad most of you guys are doing okay," I smile brightly at the screen. "Juny, would you like to tell the very curious viewers where we are?" I ask her, moving my phone so the both of us are in view. I watch the chat as people are already guessing I'm in the US.

"Y/n, finally moved to US! The girl squad is finally complete!" Juny cheers. We both scream in excitement.

"Yes, I did! I am so excited! I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys," I sent them an apologetic pout. "But, now that I'm here. There are so many more things we can do! If you guys are up for it, I could bring you guys with me to go furniture shopping!" I turn to Juny when a question pops in my head. "Does Orlando have an ikea?"

"It does, you wanna do an ikea video?" she asks. While she answers a ping is heard from my phone. A message popping up.

Dream 💔 You're in Florida?

'Oh, so now he messages. Right,' rolling my eyes I ignore the message. 'Guess who's getting ghosted now.'

The rest of the drive I keep talking to chat, having song breaks with Juny. We were smart enough to get a nice playlist that is copyright free and put that on.

"Thank you guys so much for joining me today! We are almost home," I let out a content sigh. "God, I love saying that. But! I will see you guys soon! Enjoy your day, evening, afternoon! Bye bye!" I end the stream just as we enter our neighbourhood.

Before we even reach the house I can see Charlee and Emmy outside. They jump with excitement when they see the car driving up. Juny parks the car swiftly in the drive way. I jump out of the car, squealing as I run up to my favourite girls. They meet me halfway. Both squealing just as much.

"Oh, my god, I can't believe you're finally here!" Charlee squeezes me tightly in her hold. She might be smoll, but she is strong as hell.

"Same! It's gonna be some getting used to, but I'm so happy!"

"Let's go inside, the food is gonna get cold if we wait any longer," Emmy chuckles.

"I told you guys about what happened with Dream, right?" I started an unexpected conversation. I had been trying to forget about it all. But the sudden message from him wouldn't leave my mind. The four of us were in the living room. Not really up to doing anything big today. So we just put on some background music. All of us doing our own thing. Charlee was reading, Emmy was doing a small bit of editing on her MacBook and Juny was scrolling through TikTok. The sounds of the clips being soft enough to not bother anyone.

"Yeah," Charlee is the one that answers.

"I didn't tell you all," I sigh, putting aside my notebook where I had been writing video ideas. "After the faceTime situation, he uhm," I sigh. "He ghosted me."

"Excuse me?" Juny's voice filled with disgust. "No, did he actually?"

"Yeah, I messaged him a few times but he never replied," I told them. "He left me on read every time. I feel so stupid."

"No, don't say that!" Emmy scoots over to me. Pulling me in for a hug.

“The thing is. I streamed in the car ride here, right?” The three nod. “He messaged me during it. Asking if I was in Florida.”

“So he decides to completely ignore you for weeks and then message you when he finds out you’re here?” Charlee questions. A look of pure confusion on her face.

“Yeah, like I don’t understand him,” I admit. “I genuinely thought we might be going somewhere relationship-wise. And then he pulls this shit.”

“In my opinion, you should ignore him. Just like he did you,” Juny says. She would always watch my back. Right now I knew she didn’t want me to get hurt - more - by this guy. For now, I decided to listen to Juny.

The next day the squad went to IKEA. I was surprised I wasn't that jetlagged. Maybe it was the fact that I went to bed at a normal time here. I had been awake for 22 hours straight. Sure, I've done worse. But I needed to change my sleeping schedule and fast. I didn't want to be jetlagged forever.

"Should I stream or make a video out of it?" I asked once were all parked in the parking garage. We had gone in three cars. I know it sounds like a bit much, be we didn't have big cars. And seeing as I need an entire bed and closet, it seemed like the best option. We probably would have gone with four but I don't have a car here yet.

"I think you should make it a video," Emmy answers. "Just in case, and you can do little polls on Twitter. Like 'Which bed do I pick, left or right?' and add pictures of the beds you like."

"Oh, that is such a good, idea! Yes, let's do that," I cling to her as the four of us enter the surprisingly quiet IKEA. I sent out a tweet as a warning.

I'm in the IKEA right now. I want your guy's help picking out furniture. So, be on the lookout for polls!

"Do we want to get some lunch first, or after?" Juny asks when we get inside.

"I think in between," Charlee suggests. "We first go into the showrooms to pick out furniture that we need to write down. Then eat lunch before we head downstairs for any other kind of decoration and pick up what we have picked out," we all agree with that and head into the showrooms.

"Come here, guys!" Charlee calls out to us from one of the showrooms. Coming over I find her in a little hallway in front of a mirror. "Group pic?" she asks when all of us are there.

Taking the picture I put it on my private Snapchat story. Of course, Dream is quick to send me a message on there now.

"Are you serious," I mumble.

"What?" Emmy asks, being the only one that heard me. Charlee and Juny currently looking at living room inspiration. Not that we needed anything new for the living room, but it's always nice to look.

"Dream, messaged me," I tell her.

DREAM 💔 That's crazy! George, Sapnap and I are here too!

"Okay, quick question. I know you're ignoring him like he ignored you. But what if you heard him out. Maybe he has a good reason. He's here, so, would you want that?" Emmy is careful with her words. Trying to see how I stood in the situation.

"I guess I would like to know why," I admit quietly. "But who says he's not just going to ignore me again?"

"You'll never know the answer for sure, but do you think it's worth a shot?" I think about it for a moment before turning my eyes back to my phone. Emmy reads over my shoulder as I type.

ME Really? Where are you guys now? DREAM 💔 We are at the end of Work space ME Oh, we are just about to enter the living room storage area DREAM 💔 We can wait for you guys if you would like? We can continue together. ME I'll have to ask the girls, we do plan on having lunch once we are done with this floor. DREAM 💔 That's fine, go ask them. We'll wait for now.

"Guys! We're meeting up with the Dream team!" I announce to the other two girls.

"What!" Juny sounds disappointed. "I thought we were ignoring him1"

"I know, but I want answers," I grab her hands, looking into her eyes. I give her a pout.

"Okay, fine," she mock rolls her eyes, making me giggle. We finish looking around, after waiting on a pol answer. I posted a poll asking if I should buy a cup or not. I really loved the STRIMMIG mug, so why not ask the fans if I should get it. The answer was a fat yes, with 92% win.

When we walk into the workspace section, I already notice the dream team in the corner of my eye. They were talking together, sitting at a displayed desk.

"I'm gonna do another poll," I say out loud to no one in particular. Taking out my phone, I continue walking down the path. Putting in another pol. "None of these desks seem big enough, should I go for a dining table desk instead," I mumble along as I type it out.

"Not big enough?" I recognize the voice immediately. A little startled, I jump. Looking up I catch Dreams grin. He, along with Sapnap and George chuckle at my reaction.

"God, you startled me," I chuckle awkwardly.

"Sorry, how are you?" Dream asks. I couldn't help it but really bothered me that he acted like nothing was wrong.

"I'm good, what about you?" I ask, stepping closer, I offer a hug as a greeting. He accepts, wrapping his arms around my shoulders as I hug his middle. He really is tall. I hate that it has an affect on me.

"I'm great, George just needs a few things for his room," he answers when we pull away. I decide to greet Sapnap and George the same way, giving them a hug as well. Then the girls walk up, greeting the three guys as well. Hugs are exchanged. Juny pulls me to her, almost like she's keeping me away from Dream.

"But does that mean, we're continuing together?" Sapnap asks.

"Yeah," the four of us answer in sync.

We continue down the showrooms, taking notice of a lot of things. Writing them down on the paper with of course the tiny IKEA pencil. Juny stays with me the entire time, arms hooked together. I appreciated it, but I also wanted to talk to Dream. I noticed him wanting to talk to me as well but we didn't get the time.

Even when we were having lunch we couldn't talk. Whenever we would try friends of either person pulled us into a different conversation. What that did do tho, was give me hope. He wanted to talk to me. That must mean something right?

Gathering all the stuff was chaos. We were running around the storage area. Everyone was laughing, camera's out for footage. At one point I was standing on one of the carts. Dream pushing me forwards and fast. He ran into a random aisle. One we didn't need to be in. And we were able to hide from the others for just a minute.

"Hi," I whisper. We sat under the shelves in an empty spot.

"Hey," he whispers back with a grin. I wasn't really sure what to say. I ended up just staring at him for a while. He was still as beautiful as I thought he was when I first saw him on FaceTime. Even more so if I was honest. It was so strange to me to see him in real life. Maybe one day I would have gotten the opportunity to meet him, but I wasn't expecting it to be today.

"Is it just me, or is it weird to see you in real life?" I end up mumbling, full of uncertainty. I wasn't sure if admitting that was a good idea. To my surprise, he chuckles, nodding his head.

"It is, but I'm glad I'm able to meet you," I'm about to make a comment when Emmy runs up our aisle.

"There you two are! We've got everything. Ready to go?" she asks quickly, a little awkward look on her face. She didn't realize the two of us were together until she reached us.

"Yeah, let's go," for now I guess we would have to leave our conversation at that. Maybe having a talk about it here wouldn't be a good plan anyway.

After paying we gathered our cars. I stayed with the multiple carts along with George, he only had to buy a desk and a few accessories. I ended up with a IDANÄS bed, two VITTSJÖ tables for at my bedside, a LINDBYN as a mirror by a small VITTSJÖ laptop table and a CHILISTRÅN cause I want me some cute plants, along with a few more plant pots, including plants. Seeing as I do have clothes, I also got a PAX / FARDAL with more than enough room for everything I own and new things to add. I got a BRUNSTA for the main light, seeing that I am a hoe for music, I got a black SYMFONISK speaker lamp which made me very poor. But Dream gifted me the duvet, along with pillows and a cute set of covers.

"How has your time in America been?" I ask George. He had been a while longer than I had. So obviously I was curious.

"Quite good actually. It's a big change, but so worth it," his answer made me smile. The look in his eyes really showed that he loved being able to live with his friends. "This is your second day right?" I nod. "Let the girls take you to all of the junk food restaurants. They are so different, but I promise they are good," I chuckle at the orgasm-like face he pulls at just the thought of food.

"Alright, I will," just then 5 cars pull up. We take up almost the entire space for loading in. We helped each other place everything in the cars but there was a problem. With all the stuff that I had, my seat in the car was taken.

"What do we do? We don't have space for another person besides the driver," Charlee voiced the obvious.

"Look, I don't mind waiting," we had the conversation while the guys were packing the desk into Dreams car. The desk being too big for Sapnaps car.

"We can't just leave you here!" Juny spoke loudly, catching the attention of the guys.

"What's wrong?" Sapnap asks.

"I can't go with them, the cars are too full," I tell them. "I'm willing to stay and wait for one of them to return-"

"But we are not going to do that," Charlee said sternly.

"My car has space, I can bring you home," Dream immediately offers.

"No, we'll figure something out," Judy says, pulling me closer to her.

"Look, I know what you're trying to do," I whisper to her. "But this is our only option right now," her face scrunches up in frustration.

"Fine."

"Are you sure it's okay?" I ask Dream.

"Of course!" He replies immediately. "We can't just leave you here stranded."

"Alright, then let's go," I am quick to say. Not wanting anyone to change their mind. "Message me the address, 'cause I don't know it from the top of my head yet," I tell Emmy who nods. Everyone gets into their cars. Dream surprisingly opens the door for me and lets me step inside. "Thank you," thanking him with a bright smile. He smiles back before going to the driver's side.

"Are you okay with us first bringing the desk to my place?" He asks once he's settled in.

"Oh, sure, that's fine by me," I tell him as I watch the others drive off. He puts on some music and starts driving. We were the last to leave, I couldn't see any of my friends' cars anymore.

I didn't realize my leg was bouncing until we reached the highway. I only realized when Dream's hand landed on my thigh. The bouncing almost immediately stopped. I didn't necessarily mind the hand, in fact, it was bringing me comfort - somehow.

His voice breaks my trance though I don't catch what he said. I look at him, releasing a 'huh?'. A smile grows on his lips as he repeats his question.

"How was your flight?"

"Oh, right, uhm. Uneventful really," I tell him honestly. "It was a long flight, didn't have money for first class. So I was stuffed with other people. I don't really mind. I did have the window seat, but having to get up to pee was the worst. Especially when the guys next to me were asleep. But I managed," Dream didn't seem to mind my rambling, but when I mentioned that I was sat next to guys. His grip on my thigh seemed to tighten just a little. Just enough for me to notice. "Other than that, they were really nice to me. They even helped me put my small suitcase in the top compartment and back out," I tested my thoughts and again his grip tightened. This time he also seemed to grit his teeth. I slide my hand over to his. Placing my hand on his, my thumb stroking gently on the back of his hand. The grip on my thigh relaxed a little bit at the touch.

"I'm glad you arrived safe and well," he says. "I am kinda hurt you didn't tell me you were moving to Florida," at this, I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"And, I'm hurt you ghosted me after what happened," my voice is monotone. Shaking my leg to remove his hand. I fully turn away from him. Staring out the window, legs closed, leaning against the door. I sigh comes from him. I can't tell if it's a sigh of annoyance or something else. Not that I care at the moment.

"I'm sorry," he says, but I ignore him. Opening the window, I let the wind blow in. The weather was nice and warm today. I prove my ignorance more by deciding to put the volume higher. Singing along loudly with the songs to pass the time.

He decides to stay quiet for the rest of the ride. Probably realises he deserves the treatment I'm giving him. Finally, we reach the Dream Team house. One I recognize from George's video. There we find Sapnap and George waiting in the driveway. They probably arrived just a few minutes ago. My plan was to stay in the car, but Sapnap opens the door on my side. Dream and George carrying in the desk.

"Come on, let's give you a tour!" His excitement has me complying. I get out of the car, following him into the house. I had to admit that the house was gorgeous. I recognized Dreams studio from the time we had that FaceTime call. At last, he showed me Dreams bedroom. "And last but not least, Dream's bedroom," he opened the door, allowing me to walk inside first. His room was surprisingly normal. Plain black hardwood bed. Covered in sacramento-coloured sheets. Black hardwood nightstands on either side. Simple matching lamps on each.

Before I could admire the room any further, the door slammed shut behind me. Startled I turn around.

"Sapnap! What-"

"You and Dream, have to talk," is all he says through the door.

Now what.

On the other hand, as for KQ Entertainment, when Hongjoong asked for a meeting with the managers to inform them of his love status, I guess they couldn't be happier. Although ATEEZ was already a well-known group, the fame of BTS and Chaeri could only increase the notoriety of the company and its idols a lot. I would say that the company missed no opportunity to make it evident to the world that the leader of their top group was the boyfriend of the most followed kpop idol on social media. Among other things, on the official YouTube channel ATEEZ, during the second half of 2022, they gave the couple the opportunity to film vlogs in which, as a pair, visited different cities around the world.

im particularly interested in how you worded this ask!! ive had a lot of people ask me tips on how to start tot (and the relevant ones, i'll link in this ask too) but never on a narrative investment/immersion angle. so my tips for this will be a bit different

now for your question i guess my biggest tip would really just be to treat tears of themis like a visual novel that just so happens to update with more stories.

idk how much of a newbie you are to this genre, but when i got into this game i had NEVER played any other otome before in my life. so it was all new to me!! and i basically treated it like an updating visual novel, this is My Method, and that got me quite invested (as is obvious from my entire blog). so when i say "treat it like a visual novel" i mean:

im personally not particularly a card completionist or a gacha enthusiast. which, hell yeah, this game wont bankrupt me LOL. but also, since cards are the main way where new nxx boy stories are released through, for any card i dont have, i just watch it on youtube. because basically every card, event plot, minigame, etc gets uploaded by someone a little bit after its release. so if youre bummed you missed an event card but you dont really Want the card, you just want its story, just search it on youtube!! search [card name/event name] + [whichever language dub you prefer] + tears of themis and voila! new story for you to read!!!

if you want plot = read Main Story. this is where all the heavy main plot happens and it is SO GRIPPING AND RIVETING.

if you want character development and relationship development between mc and each boy = read Personal Story Bloom Chapter, and then the respective nxx boy's Anniversary 1 card, Personal Story Sweet Chapter 1 and 2, and then the respective nxx boy's Anniversary 2 card. the personal story routes (aka the routes where mc eventually ends up with the boy romantically) are where a BULK of characterization and character development happens, imo

if you want romance and oneshot dates = explore the available cards!!! the tot wiki has an archive of all the available cards per boy on each of the characters' main pages. for example, here's luke's page. scroll down to the cards section and Behold. Luke Stories As Far As The Eye Can See

these pages dont have the story transcribed in them, but theyre great to use as a directory or a map of cards. so if any of the cards catch your eye, then take urself to youtube to find the card and voila (again)! new story for u to experience!

(note: SSRs always have a full 6 act story. SRs either have a 6 act story that is unvoiced, OR 2 voice messages. MRs always have 2 voice messages. R cards have no story and no voice messages)

if you want nxx team dynamics = read and/or play the events!!!! this is my favorite thing, the tot events are a treasure trove of fun cases and awesome team dynamics. in the game itself, some of the big events are available as DLC for anybody to play themselves at any time. to get there, X-NOTE Story -> lower and rightmost button Event -> upper and rightmost button Past.

if theres anything i would reccommend the MOST, itd be to download and pllay the event Mysteries of the Lost Gold. it's so good. it's my favorite event story. trust me on this

Why Paradox Live?

Yeah, I know I said I was not posting about Paradox Live anymore and considering the fact that the video was posted in October 2023, it seems pretty recent. However, I have been working on this video for AGES. I think that I will end up in somewhere in 2022(?) starting this video. I was still into Paradox Live and I had dreams to introduce people to it. Too bad that I'm a procrastinator… I mean, I could have chosen IDOLiSH7 as starting point as well, but Paradox Live had a bigger cast :)

My motivation to work on it

Guys, I'm not even kidding. I was planning to use Paradox Live to (hopefully) get some people into Argopro. The project had some difficulties and I wanted to pull people into it, so I did it in a very roundabout way. After all, not a lot of Paradox Live seiyuus are in Argopro like bro what am I even doing!? When starting with the roles of Kajiwara Gakuto (Allen's VA), there were barely any solos for Haruka (his role in Argopro). I remember downloading/ripping the audio of Orthros, because that song was barely introduced. Good old times.

What did I want to achieve with this video?

Guys, I'm just a girl who really likes sharing her interests and I'm a big fan of listening to music of several music projects because I think they are nice and they are different from other music if that makes any sense + you can listen to your favourite seiyuus!!! This was a video for my close friends because I always try to get them to listen to songs or to check out projects. This was merely a tool I used, I guess. My friends love me and I love them. In the end, it wasn't even needed because I post plenty enough on my insta story.

How I made the video

Bros, let me tell you. This was one hell of a dumpster fire of making this video. I'm not kidding. If you think you you can do it, go for it. I will never do it again.

I made the video on my phone. My phone has seen better days, y'all. I first made the template in Ibispaintx and after that I went into YouCut to put the audio over it. I absolutely hated it because you couldn't delete the files if you had the videos in draft (otherwise it will get corrupted which makes sense), but it took a lot of storage. I ended up saving them seperately per character, but the pain I had to go through everytime I made a mistake was painful.

This video is like 22 minutes long, but it took me nearly 2 years to finish it ( •̥ࡇ•̥ )

Remember when this video came out there were people who heard the voice at the end and thought the voice was either Sammy or the Ink Demon? Man, those were the days. However with all due respect, I'm glad neither case was right in the end lol.

On this day 5 years ago, "Unknown - April 14th" was posted on YouTube, which means it's been 5 damn years since we first heard from Wilson...

man, what a damn BABY MAN, am i right folks

It's interesting to think that even though it's been 5 years, we've only known who Wilson really is for 2 years now (or more appropriately, 1 year and 5 months of those 5 years). Of course, now, after BATDR was released, we know who he is and what his place is in the Bendy universe. But between April 1, 2019 and November 1, 2022, all we knew about him was that he…existed. He was someone - someone bad apparently - who sounded old and who would have some relevance in the plot of Dark Revival. And that's it. We had no name, no appearance, nothing. He was someone, but we didn't know who.

It's no wonder he was only referred to as "Unknown" by fans during these 3 and a half years.

In the end, I would say that this drawing is a mix of 2 things. The first being the result of an idea I've had for a while, which is basically making a drawing in relation to the original video/"unknown" tape, but this time with Wilson, since now we know it was recorded by him. Plus it's been 5 years since the original upload,5 years of Wilson. I think this would be the perfect time to do this.

And second, a strange kind of redux/homage/"final chapter" in this kind of "collection" of drawings I did between 2019 and 2022 all based on the idea of "the unknown weirdo from BATDR saying How Very Interesting Such Knowledge" and so on. All of them having other characters in mind in the role of the Unknown. And now, here I am, redoing this idea again, only with The Man Himself this time. The real Unknown. Now as the Known, so to speak.

Going back to what I said before, you can see this drawing as a kind of farewell to this particular idea that I've kind of repeated over the years, as I've now done it again only with Wilson this time. (Does this mean I'll never draw this concept/line of thought again? I mean, I assume so. But there's no guarantee I can't make something similar again down the line. Who knows what the future holds. We will see what happens in the next 5 years.)

But,yeah. 5 years of Such Knowledge™.

so: the call me little sunshine mv. i think most people have probably 1) only watched that mv once, if at all, and 2) consider it to be a bit of a dud compared to some other ghost mvs. which is valid. i had only seen it once, maybe nine months ago, before i decided to watch it several more times today.

i'll level with you, i cannot tell who is playing the devil, because whoever it is is not credited on imdb. i can't even tell if it's tf or not. it might be. it might not be. i don't think it matters, but i do think it's an interesting choice to have him not be a preexisting character (or like. copia).

if you don't feel like watching it, the basic premise is that a victorian-looking woman is sitting in a train car dissociating and occasionally taking a hit off a pipe with a devil head on the end. she's high off her ass. lighting up in the middle of the day, if you will. there are some trippy sequences of a devil singing. the devil diverts the path of her train car, which then rolls onto a boat. the boat docks somewhere in a jungle, and she steps onto the dock where the devil's silhouette and a bunch of shadowy figures are waiting for her.

theme-wise, the video is definitely tied closer to the impera album theme than the song is by itself. it feels like it's touching on british imperialism and colonialism. there's a close shot of a globe in her train car that zooms in on africa. when she steps onto the dock in the jungle, she's holding that globe, and it's glowing. there's one shot of her in the window of the train car, and the glowing globe is in front of her like a sacred heart. personally, i think she's personifying british imperialism.

notably, she's not very active in the video. she moves through it looking dissociated and high, for the most part. she's distressed when the devil diverts the train car's path, leading to her final destination, but then she just lights up again and spends the rest of the video in a trance. she does not seem to be choosing where she's going or what she's doing.

so, we've got this woman who's a weirdly dissociated agent of imperialism aided by the devil. moving on.

i enjoy ruby modine's look in this video (you may know her from her iconic role as the roommate with the poison cupcake in happy death day). the top hat she's got in the train car is fun. the dress is, you know, it's giving a little bit of that party city haute couture vibe, but it's serviceable.

her color palette is interesting. a red outer layer over a black inner layer, with black gloves, socks, and shoes. what a random, meaningless assortment of clothing colors.

call me little sunshine was uploaded on january 20, 2022, preceding chapter ten: home coming and special guests, which was uploaded on march 15, 2022. chapter 10 is, of course, the debut of copia's casual look.

it's a very interesting order for these things to come out in, and it feels intentional. we have this woman traveling in a train car with a handbag beside her, then copia returns to the ministry in the first chapter video after this, wearing the same color palette, also with a handbag. both of them are agents of imperialism, both of them are being compelled onto that path by someone or something else.

i don't think it's far off to say that the call me little sunshine video could be a reflection of copia's situation and mental space in general. especially when you watch chapter ten right after it, the travel and arrival to the destination parallels feel sort of obvious.

at the very least, it's a fun connection that i never noticed before.

at the very...most, i guess, it now means that between this and the spillways dancer with the white eye, there are two impera-era videos in which a woman is paralleling copia. how about that!

2023 in restrospect

@loneamaryllis did it and that looked like fun so here I am stealing it.

2023....wow...that was something.

I wrote over a million words this year 🤯. Lots of that plain smut.

I continued a oneshot I had posted in 2022, that I wrote in 2020 during lockdown because I was craving some Snape but couldn't find the dynamic I was looking for. I am very glad I decided to fuck it and just upload it to see what'll happen. Who would have guessed this??

I fell headfirst back into my old Snape obsession and from there into Snarriet and currently I am falling into a Voldemort obsession lol

I have written seven oneshots. I've never written oneshots before, I am not good at them and it was my personal challenge to have another go at it. I think they turned out good enough.

I finished two fics!

I am still writing six though 😅

My goal is to finish 'your tears are of no relevance to me' and it's alternate storylines 'Dove and the Serpent', perhaps even in the next two months, no pressure or promises, I'll see if the story will want to be finished by then.

And 'Most Unexpected Turn of events'!

After that I'll finally tackle 'Carrying Atlas'. I love that story but the plot needs some work and for that I need brain space 'your tears' isn't willing to relinquish yet.

I hope to also find the will to continue 'A Servant of Death' and finish my Rings of Power fic 'Strawberries and Sin'. It's fully plotted, motivation has just been very low for those particular fics.

My goal is also to use shorter titles for my fics because this is kinda getting ridiculous!

I have met so many lovely people since returning to writing fanfiction and also really interacting in fandom spaces for the first time. I met the lovely @snapesmorningcoffee whom I already love dearly and of course @loneamaryllis, @chipartwork @rose-colored-glasses7, @tuesdayspectacular, and @smilingformoney.

What's next in 2024?

Well I doubt it'll be another million words 😅 that's a crazy huge amount to write!!

I hope I'll get to writing to that fic surrounding the youngest MalfoyXVoldemort(XTom Riddle) story and some of the Snarriet oneshots I have been planning. Especially that very naughty Muggle AU, James and Lily are alive and Harrie decides she wants to fuck her hot 'uncle' Sev and a Muggle AU, studentxteacher fic with Snape and Harrie shagging in his car after detention!

Checking in on my 2023 goals!

23 things for 2023

1. buy 1 horse

Done!! Bought Luna!!!

2. Knit a pair of socks

I knit a sock, that I finished today. But I mostly decided I wanted to knit other things instead so this is fine

3. Three camping trips

went to mt of the holy cross, and New Mexico for two camping nights, plus a day hike in winter park. So technically no but pretty close!

4. Plant four pumpkins

…..no. I bought seeds and did nothing and I don’t feel that bad about it

5. Handstand (five fingers) press

Lol no. Did nothing for it. Never made a plan and so did not achieve

6. Kill side yard weeds (because weeds are the devil 666)

Success? I paid a Gardner to pull them all so yes! Feels like a failure because I didn’t really deal with them or the yard in general, but they are all gone now.

7. Go to Loyola social justice meeting (7th heaven)

I went to a meeting! And baked cookies for an event. (And then never went back oops)

8. Mail 8 letters to mates - birthday cards probably

Success! (Rebecca birthday, Sarah birthday, Clare get well card, Callie birthday, Alison birthday, clare birthday, Callie wedding, clare kt recipe card)

9. Research 9 hours of getting a cat (9 lives)

10. Do ten full pull ups

Total yes, in a row like intended absolutely not. I can do like 2.5 in a row. Made haphazard progress, but now I have a pull up bar so hoping for better next year!

11. Buy 11 things off of my to buy eventually list

Success! This was easy and I did it! (air fryer, air mattress, nice soap dispensers, office mat, thermometer, fire extinguisher, white tank top, little plates, shower cleaner, plastic drain pipes, sheet pan organizer, bonus: back door light bulb, rainbow flag and holder, more bras)

12. Go on 12 dates

Success! I thought this would be really hard but then I just got my boyfriend by like February and it ended up being the easiest ny resolution ever. He even asked me out to start.

13. Run a half marathon 13.1 miles

Success! (Okay this was a gimme because I signed up for it and had a training plan in 2022 but still)

14. Hike a fourteener

Success! mt of the holy cross and it was terrifying and very long but we did it!

15. Read 30 (15x2) books

I read 27 and have three in various states of completion. I kind of wanted to power this one thru but it wouldn’t have been fun and then what’s the point. This one is hard because I abandoned so so many books this year. Like I made it at least one chapter into like 40 and a couple half way thru. So close but no cigar but I refuse to read things that aren’t fun just to hit a goal so I feel fine about it.

16. Host 8 things

Hosted 3, organized a couple others so partial credit. I would like to do better in the future. ( galentines, whimsy brunch, birthday, organized brunch at watercourse, organized lake day)

17. Go out dancing (must be more dancing than drinking, dance class counts.)(dancing queen only 17)

Nope. But also that’s fine.

18. Upgrade phone and deal with all photos. Upload belize to fb and save others. Data management

Mostly. I got an external storage for Christmas so I can finish when I get home. So solid partial credit. (uploaded some. Upgraded phone plus new battery, still need to get data off of it) [email protected] [email protected]

19. General contractor for house cracks plus install air conditioner

Success. Installed ac. Got the cracks looked at once and they were fine and then they got worse and now I’m getting foundation work done. So success I guess.

20. Get 20 layout ds

… I did not count. I def got some but probably not 20 so partial credit. (4 from leiout)

21. Go to frisbee Masters regionals

Success! Another bit of gimme but we went and qualified to nationals!)

22. Buy purple navel jewelry (I’m feeling 22)

Success! (And I love it)

23. volunteer for 23 hours

No and I feel bad about it. I need to find something to volunteer with. I feel like I should have the time/be able to make time but it also feels like I never have time and also never want to. But I think it’s important.

So overall full success on 11 of the goals, happy partial on 5, annoyed partial on 2, abandoned 4 and failed my last one and feel bad about it.

But overall pretty good success!

Last night's episode was good.

A) I appreciate the transferred morning scene it was cute and domestic and I like the dynamic between Lucy, Tim and Tamara.

B) I also have gotten used to seeing Bailey a lot and seeing as Nolan is the main character I could kind of see why she is and a lot of scenes I personally do not care. I guess but they're definitely should be like a teaser for Bailey if she's going to be in a lot of scenes like for instance they could have uploaded a video of her talking to John in the holding cell or something like that just a scene that happened in the episode on Instagram before they upload episodes so that people can be ready to see a lot of her.

C) I am sure that there was a time jump but I just can't place it I think that somewhere in December I feel like they jumped past January because in 5×10 when Nolan was talking to Juarez and the shop about her dating Aaron she said it was 2022 when the episode air in January so I think they definitely did jump pass quite a few months for Angela to be close to giving birth. But I enjoyed pregnant Angela she was funny and relatable to pregnant women in her little walk when she was going to the bathroom was so cute and Aaron encouraging her to walk up the stairs with the adorable.

D) I am happy that Isabel is moving on with her life and changed and I'm glad that she accepted that Tim was in a new relationship and was happy and I'm glad that she gave Lucy advice about being undercover because Lucy definitely did need it.

E) I think that Lucy enjoys being undercover because of the different roles that she gets to play. Like for example when she played Juicy she had the attitude the makeup the hairstyle everything about her went into playing Juicy instead of being Lucy and I think she enjoys that I think she likes to be in character and that's what she likes to go undercover but Lucy always wants to help people and God will never change and she grew up talking about her her feelings. So I think she wouldn't shut down on Tim or hide anything from him because she's been open and honest with him for all the years they've been together literally since day one and I think that she deserves to at least give you an undercover officer a shot.

F) I can see the hurt on Tim's face but I feel like they will have an open conversation about it due to the picture of 5×21 but I'm happy that they're finally together as a couple and a lot of couples have ups and downs and it's good that they have a conversation about what's going on and I mean the more uncertain team of Tim and the more they have their doubts and worries about each other being able to handle her being undercover we might get more of them together as a couple more scenes more clips.

G) overall the episode was good and I love that Chenford is a couple they deserve to be happy given what they've been through and I hope they work out their issue.

I'm curious about how would season 3 of Walker perform in HBO Max (US). The 1st season did it pretty well, it stayed in the top ten for 2 weeks or maybe 3. And even achieved #2 for several days

But then season 2 came (the whole season at once, too), I think in summer 2022? Anyway, guess how long it stayed at the top ten... one day. Just. One. Day. And that day only at #10. After that single day it dropped more and more and it's not even in the 100-150 most watched shows of HBO Max US in 2022. That's a HUGE loss in viewership

When shows are bulk uploaded, they natively have higher demand. That is to say, Walker Season 1 was new, and all new content. The content was bulk dumped in after season 1 to HBO. All of Walker's fans ran to watch it a time or two, and a bunch of people that never saw it on CW gave it a whirl. But it did not retain that interest. It was like a week or two as you said then never again.

While any season upload will provide a boost to numbers, season 2 as you said failed to bring that back up, and season 3 is likely to have even lower returns, cuz that's how this tends to work and trend. If it does squeak onto a list, it would literally be a mix of 2 season padding being reviewed along with bulk content, and minding season 2 didn't scratch the list, I wouldn't expect it to dent in high or long, if at all.

So yeah, you're observing the trends correctly, in summary.

If you pull other shows, like TW, they dominated all season long international and as soon as the US got it, there too in about the same capacity, and it's been sticking on both sides of the fence throughout a season, or even a month after the show ended or uploaded, and so on. The difference is stark. And frankly common sense to witness if fandom isn't being intentionally daft for the sake of presenting their self consolation arguments where they pretend it's relative.

With the way Windy performed all year digitally, it's actually possible for it to stay on the list longer than Walker Prime did. S1 was worth 4x live. S2 with HBO+live it was worth 8x. Season 3 it hit 12. This does not take a rocket scientist to understand that each season's value is worth about 4x, and the live spikes in parrot data before seasons are on HBO even reveal in-app on season it's worth about 4x.

Windy, on the other hand, while live and only in app without all the other backing, was ranging 9-11 or so. And while that's not the 20-25 of the top shows like TW, GK, and so on, it's basically double the digital value, meaning its likely to retain better/longer on HBO, even if not quite at the long term volume the others are (unless it's a piece like AA, that gains attention and support/traction after the fact on digital platforms, which is possible since Windy is, frankly, simply just a better show.)

As it is, Walker ONLY ever got listed on US HBO. Its travelability is such fucking garbage it never scratched the OUSA lists like the others. Windy might have a chance of rescue for digital, it's Walker I see a renancel for as its best possible future. Windy could just get axed, or someone could save it for its digital potential, but Walker Prime is at the end of its loyalty and brand value. Them plugging Jared at the end of every TW/GK ep and 2+ commercials of his shit every episode trying to funnel people that way still hasn't saved the Thurs 8P slot from dragging ass all year.

People pretending they got room to piss themselves over one day of 0.05 on a 9P Tues show as if Walker in Thurs 8P prime and 40% better default audience potential has been hitting about the same line repeatedly in season, and despite optimal timeslot is still averaging a 0.09. GK, despite effectively havin a -40% on its timeslot compared to Walker, is averaging a 0.08, and IDK if you know but 40% of 0.9 is almost 4, and that's like, 0.05, and that's the numbers people are peeing about one day of, when that would have been us running EQUAL TO if you understand what you're looking at, which this fandom doesn't. And that says NOTHING for it's +120% +3s vs Walker's +50% +3s, or its digitals or whatever the piss people choose to not pay attention to while discussing. a Tues 9P slot running 0.1 is worth 0.14 in a Thurs 8P slot but THIS FANDOM IS NOT READY FOR THIS CONVERSATION.
