Seasons Greetings 2021

My thoughts and commentary as I watch Seasons Greetings 2021! There is only the one making DVD in this package, just 93 minutes long. The other part of this was just the photobook and extra merch. Reminder that these are just my thoughts, it's not very organized. You get me typing it out as I go like I'm reacting to a friend. Somewhat like a bullet point format in a way. Here we go! This package was filmed in the beginning of September of 2020, they mention it at the end of the package. You can watch the full SG21 on YouTube here.

The DVD opens with Jimin for his first individual shoot all dressed up in his track suit, bag and scarf wrapped around his head looking all cute. Lol I swear only he can make that look cool I feel like. What an outfit. JK walking by for his shoot up next and seeing Jimin all dressed up and absolutely MELTING out of his tough guy persona he had on. Lmfao he completely melted at Jimin's cuteness and that chin tap and smile as he passed Jimin. And Jimins blush. God now IM melting. 🥰😍😍

JK looked like such a badass. I loved the yellow umbrella addition too! The way they all dressed in styles they picked out themselves is so cute. Jin looked like a whole baddie. I love glasses on him honestly. Hobi looking super hip! It suits him so well. I love that we got a jikook2seok unit shoot here too. I adore so much that the outfit Yoongi oicked for himself was total Hobi-core type of a look. And it SUITS HIM. Tae has never met a style he couldn't pull off and Namjoons HAIR is killing me. I love it. He looks so cool. The whole concept for the entirety of the Seasons Greetings was strangers to Seoul. I love it. The group shoot is so funny too. Jinkook immediately competing in billiards but in the silliest ways they can. "Jungkook and I used to play like this all the time." Photos of them playing pool, Jimin nailing his shoot in the game and immediately turning to get high fives from JK who is already there ready to give them! Jimin being the world's best person and being so kind when teaching Namjoon and Hobi how to play too. The vmin handshake and JK trying to join in on it too lmao. Jikook were very much so staying near each other through the whole billiards shoot for the most part. It was cute! Then all going for a group photoshoot at a bar too! JK pouring Jimins drinks so casually. Lol and they all look so good even in these intense outfits! Everyone dancing around to Dynamite, JK pulling Jimin into him by his TIE. Lol okay sir. 3J in the back pulling goofy thumbs up poses. And everyone gathering for a drink pretending to be strangers for real 🤣

They then introduced themselves and their profiles they created for the "strangers" they were all playing as they were new to Seoul. We have Illgok-dong Bounce Hobi, Soccer King Jimin, Busan Man JK, Dokgo Mint Chocolate RM, BTS-dong Grasshopper V, Tuna Flavored Cucumber Jin, Taejeon-dong Shooting Guard Suga. And they all explained their names and created the rest of their backgrounds and about me boards for their character. Lol my favorite being that Tae created a whole rivalry between his character and Jhope's 🤣 Jikook both putting "myself" as their characters role model. Lol and I legit need Jin to write a book. They then also of course fill out their 2020 board as themselves too!

And then we kick off some unit shoots in New outfits! Starting off with the iconic jikook shoot in their matching denim fits. Oof the moments from this shoot were sooooo good. It's all the giggles shared. It's the way JK was checking out Jimin from behind when they were posing. Lol (gif below) or how he kept peeking over at Jimin and copying his poses too (hyungs copycat). It's Jimin feeding JK his pizza aggressively lol. It's the way Jimin leaned in real close and JK stopped chewing and looked down at Jimins lips instead 👀 (2nd gif in the post). And the way they sat so close decorating those their shoes and kept sneaking glances at each other too. 😭 my heart. My loves. JK showing off his shoe to Jimin for praise. Jimin decorating his shoe with Young Forever on one side (a song that means a lot of him) and Jeon Jungkook with a silly emoji on the other side! And scolding JK lightly when he didn't stop drawing after that section of the shoot was over lol. They are so special. And the editors teasing them too. Lol "what's something that Jungkook, whose good at everything, finds difficult? Holding in his laughter while looking at Jimin." They just make each other so happy. Jimin talking about how its the end of Day 1 shooting for them now. How they started super early at 7am. JK interrupts saying no, at 3am. And Jimin just goes, no that was in your dreams. It was 7am. Lol he said they (him and JK) came first and are leaving last. JK said their concept was 2 friends who came from Busan together. Lmao flirty vibes for these friends in this shoot!

Namjin had the next unit with the concept two lonely men in the city. They look AMAZING. Jin asking Joon if he wants to have dinner together that night 🥺 Joonie bragging about getting his individual shoot done first and Jin just going "we have to leave at the same time anyway." Lmao and Joon flirting at the end! Lmao the way he said ARMY would like it (Jins outfit) and showed off more of Jins chest. Jin asking if Joon would hang out with him if he dressed like this everyday and RM just saying that he would pass out and that he would hang out, but wouldn't talk to him 👀🤣🤣🤣 Jin going "stop right there" lmfao dying. He is so funny sometimes with the out of pocket compliments like that. TaeGiSeok were the last unit and also did a lonely man concept together. They looked so good! I loved the talks about how they did feel lonely for real when they all first got to Seoul but they love it now. And Hobi complimenting Yoongi on his hair extensions!

Everyone getting ready for Day 2 shooting and we've got Yoongi on the guitar and Jimin cutely falling asleep in his chair 🥺🥺 Finishing up their solo shoots, Jinkook bickering and kicking each other on their way over to Suga for their unit shoot with him 😂 it's CONSTANT with them. The way Yoongi rubs JKs back 🥺🥺 and all 3 voting Suga as the best dressed! The 94z did a unit shoot! And idk if Hobi can get through a shoot with these guys without grabbing their chests! Lol "when did you get so bulked up?" He says while holding a handful of Joon chest. 🤣 they were so cute though. And after that they did an OT7 group shoot as well! The reminiscing over shooting the RUN MV here too! Lol and Yoongi so sweetly rubbing Tae's back. Those are his babies yall 😭 and lastly, we got the vmin unit shoot! The red and green outfits and matching curly blond hair was so cute. The editors calling them out on their mischief was cute too. Lol the way Tae wouldn't stop telling Jimin he likes him 🤣 "I like you" he says over and over while Jimin keeps knocking his hands away. Lol and the way Tae held Jimin when they talked at the end was so soft too. Cuties. The way everyone shared memories of when they ACTUALLY first came to Seoul was amazing. I loved hearing their stories!

They did another group shoot on bus 613 🥺 and were all so cute. Jimin pretending to fall asleep almost on Yoongis shoulder and leaning across the aisle to mess with Hobi. Tae legitimately falling asleep against the window breifly. Lol Tae trying to hold Jins hand and Jin going "nope" 🤣 and Tae accidentally breaking the bus hand rail thing! Oops, but the way Joon tattles on him, please 😭🤣

And they end the day all gathering together to talk with MC Jungkook! JK says 2021 is the year of the cow, which is why he got to be MC, which Jimin reminds us all that JK was born in the year of the cow. Lol they introduced their characters as well as their journals. Namjoons was super cute. Everyone giggled. Hobi found it right up his sense of humor. Jin joked about saying the needed to end their friendship since he hates mint chocolate and that's who Joon based his character on 😂

Jimin introducing his character. Who he said was from Seoul and JK going "oh? Busan??" when Jimin spoke with a slight Busan accent by accident. Lol Yoongi keeps teasing him too! The bickering duo. And Tae commenting on his small fingers. Lol no one letting Jimin breathe!

Yoongi making everyone laugh by saying his character was Korean American and only just started learning Korean as a language. Lol and asking Joon for help on some english words to throw in his introduction too. 🤣 I love him. And of course, Jimin has to tease him back and tells him to read his journal in English only 😂

JK with his Busan Man character. Lol Tae teasing that it sounds just like that Jungkook guy from BTS when he said his motto is what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine. And that he likes wearing black and drinking milk and that his personality is teenage angst. 🤣 lmao JK coming to Seoul from Busan with some teenage angst? Don't we all 🤣 and everyone started to tease him for speaking half informally through his character introduction. And Tae's comment on JKs character journal "I hope you grow out of your teenage angst." Lmfao!

Tae was so excited to share his. His characters personality is just "violent." Lol Tae sharing his dream is to take down his rival (Jhope) and Hobi being so confused about being in a rivalry he had no idea about 😂 and yet Bounce (Jhope) is also his role model. What a complicated relationship they must have 🤣

Jhope introduced his character Bounce with a bright but introverted personality. Tae interjecting more details into Hobis story to make theirs match better. Lol I love the overlap. His character was mostly just excited to dance and for the world cup!

And lastly Jin, whose character is a Cucumber. Lol with a whole backstory about how the Cucumber became Tuna Flavored. The editors saying his journal reads like a children's book, I AGREE EDITORS. Joons comment was "I don't like Cucumbers." Lol the savagery 😭🤣

JK brings them back around. Back to being BTS members as themselves for the next round! They did a relay journal entry for the future. Starting the journal was Jhope who picked the title "they are back together" and the year 2040, along with a starting point for the journal entry. The order for writing the journal went Hobi, Jimin, Suga, JK, Jin, Namjoon and ending with Tae. Lol the absolute chaos of this story and everyone's laughter and jokes as Tae reads out the whole thing. Amazing.

They moved onto their journals looking back on the year 2020 next. Jin rated his year at an 85 so far since he is happy with how he is living his life. Jhope rated 2020 at 77, since it feels like a lucky number. Tae telling us we would get his mixtape in 2021. Lol unfortunately we did not. He rated the year 80 for his good efforts and for getting billboard number 1. JK was dubbed the planning king of BTS for all his plans he wanted to do. Lol but also the quitting king of BTS. 😭🤣 The teasing never stops. He rated his year a 55 since he did half of what he originally planed, plus 5 points for billboard lol. Suga is the planning king of BTS as well, and he did all his plans except study English. He rated his year 72, with room to grow since the year wasn't over yet. Jimin shared his based off BTS plans in general. Taekook goofing off while Jimin was talking and got scolded 😅🤣 Jimin gave his year a rating of 85. RM said one of his plans was to workout. Cue all the immediate compliments from the members and yoonmin immediately feeling up his strong biceps and making Joon all flustered. Lol he gave his year a 78 in hopes to make it higher before the year ended too.

JK brings us back around by reading off what their goals were in the last seasons greetings for the year 2020. RMs was to be preform at Grammys or be nominated for music and work on lots of songs. Jins was to perform in lots of countries and go fishing with the members. Suga's was to perform at the Grammys and travel the world. Jhope's was to set aside exhausting thoughts and appreciating and enjoying every moment. Everyone asking if he was appreciating every moment and Tae goes "you appreciate me?" He is so cute. Lol Hobi going "yes, I appreciate all of you. All... 7 of you." While patting Tae and Jin so sweetly. And Tae just going, I didn't ask about everyone. I asked about me. 🤣🤣 lol Hobi going "of course I appreciate Taehyung" while laughing. Jimins was to keep their relationship with ARMY. Vs was that he wants to be a passionate person, work on lots of songs and gaming experience. He wants to play the violin and take many pictures and travel with the members. Everyone giggling at his many goals. Jimin praising him for working hard on his songs and lots of other things too. Hobi telling him he worked hard. JK saying that he did at least play the violin once and did a good job learning many things that year. 🥺🥺 they are so supportive. I swear. JKs goal was that since he can't stick to one thing for a long time, he wants to try many things out in 2020. Jimin immediately saying he did exactly that. Everyone chiming in with agreements and Tae returning the exact same head pat and compliment JK gave him. Lol they are so cute.

And we end it off for the day with their goals for 2021. In one word if possible. Lol starting with Jin. Whose goal is "tour, health." Jhope says concert. Tae says ARMY. JK says responsibility. Suga says tour. Jimin also says Tour. And RM says Grammys, more specifically, RM wants to be nominated and perform at the Grammys.

And the DVD ends with the last day of shooting on day 3 on the railroad tracks. And we get the cutest unit of miniminimoni 🥺 RM copying Jimins hat pose. The 3 of them playing with butterfly nets. Joon actually goes and catches a dragonfly with it and shows it off to the staff and Jimin all excited! And NamGi going off on a small tangent about Jin not knowing what the countryside looks like 😅 he isn't even there to defend himself from the teasing! Vhope doing the cutest unit with bikes as their props too. Looking so precious. JinKook starts their unit shoot off by hitting each other, of course 🤣 and playing with cows and puppies and spiders. And photobombing each other. Lol why are they like this? 🥰🤣 they were just so goofy. Even before the other members all joined for the group photos. Lol I love their energy.

The ending mentions were sweet. JK saying that bugs don't scare him anymore after ITS. Lol and Jimin going "they still scare me!" And JK just pointing at him like, "I got you" vibes. And then yoonmin complaining about their bug bites. BTS ended their DVD with happy new years wishes and a full bow. I love them all so much. I swear. Thanks for letting me share!

Mor college au hcs just because.... 😍😍 imagine if we were roomies and Erwin and Levi are also roomies. Fast forward to a few months after we started dating, we're having ideas of switching dorms 👀

Erwin kicks Levi out of their dorm and helps you move all your stuff into his because his dorms is nearing to the engineering block where you all are studying. Erwin's 'glad' to kick Levi out because a) Levi nags too much, and b) Levi always does work at night and the lights keep Erwin up. Erwin loves having you over at his dorm because you sleep for 8hrs and so does he. He also appreciates the healthier meals you prepare, especially Indian food and curries, although he can't really take spice hehe 🤭

Levi is also glad to move into my dorm because he can't stand Erwin's snores and sleep talking. Also, he loves the fact that I have food all around the house. Erwin and him are used to buying takeout all the time, and he's used to feeling hungry when he's studying in the middle of the night. But with me around, he always has freshly cooked meals to eat, and a late night snack ready when he needs it. Also, not a good thing but, I'm also a night owl, and now he doesn't have to worry about someone complaining that the lights are too bright 😂

Erwin's kicking Levi out? Oops, I'll keep the first aid kit handy😂

Also, poor blondie is going to be in for a shocker. I nag too hahahaha. There's no winning for him lol. Something that's totally new for him is the amount of long, wavy black hair that he finds everywhere now X) On his desk, in his bag, in the shower, on the floor, his clothes, and even his own head 🤭 It baffles him, the places my hair manages to get to!

He was mortified after Levi plucked one out of his stubble during class HAHAH! He's so close to buying a lint roller like people have for their pets 🙄

Erwin and I are both early risers when it comes to studying. So that's something we'd match on. But, I gotta go to bed by 10 PM if I have to wake up at 6. Erwin doesn't sleep enough. But I'll get him to :3 A minimum 8-hour sleep is a must in the Smith-Dorm now! We both introduce discipline in each other's lives in different ways haha!

.... I'd guess this is where him getting used to eating spicy meals would fall in our life's timeline hahahah! My mum sends 'dubba' sometimes that I share with Erwin and he's a sweaty mess because of how spicy he finds her cooking.

I cook him less spicy food so that his stomach doesn't entirely give up on him, and to slowly build his chili threshold :P He absolutely loves the flavor profiles though! Even our go-to cuisine to eat at restaurants is slowly becoming Indian. My parents will be proud!

Ay! Tell Levi that I find Erwin's deafening snores, rather cute. I can't fall asleep without them anymore. A strange lullaby.

And I'm sorry ugh, he pretty much survived on protein bars and coffee before I moved in. And like Levi, I too prefer fresh food over the stuff that comes from packets :') If you two visit anytime now, there'll be some edible food in the fridge :P
