The Uptake turned ten back in February, and I had the itch to breathe a bit of a design refresh for the four face-characters of the series. What started as a doodle ended up a rendered painting, oops.

How do you guys pronounce D.D.D.?
Because I was definitely saying it like dee dee dee, but then in one of the phone calls Barb definitely said dee three and now I'm losing my mind because I've been saying it wrong the whole time.
And also dee three is so much easier?? But if they're gonna say it that way why not spell it D3??
I mean how am I supposed to look at D.D.D. and pronounce that dee three, you know??? I have complaints!
Unless everyone else has always been saying it that way and it's just been me who missed it... which is probable.

i think the reason izzy can be so blasé about his relationship with ed is not because hes taken to blaming a shark instead, but because hes actually already done a lot of the processing in the previous episode.
hes mourned his leg, hes had his drunk crying rants. hes gone through the five stages of grief. and then? the crew reaches out to him, offers him their support. they make him a new leg, they nominate him their new figurehead. when he stands there on the prow of the ship, leg on, letter in hand, thats his acceptance, thats his moving on.

(200) A comedy of fuck ups: Sunstreaker and Sideswipe go to great pains to hide their high grade distillation set up from the powers that be (Prowl. It's Prowl.) and that's all fun and games until Sunstreaker's mulish refusal to provide his alibi for a violent crime on base (it was Ravage) threatens to see him labelled a Decepticon sympathiser.
The situation becomes more complicated still when Ravage reports this back to Soundwave and thereby prompts Rumble and Frenzy sneak off to the Ark to investigate the matter of this mystery sympathiser themselves...
