yknow what really gets me? the fact that we all seem to think that robin doesn’t enjoy jock things. while she’s canonically seen enjoying and cheering at the basketball game in s4 and more importantly, SHE PLAYS SOCCER!!!! she literally says so in s3?!!!! don’t come at me with your “robin is a music nerd ONLY” because she’s so much more than that!! and we should explore soccer player robin in fics bc i’m pretty sure whoever you ship her with will have an aneurysm watching her play soccer

Clothes being gendered is bad, if someone wants to wear a dress, it doesn't necessarily mean they are female, ect.
But at the same time, I just put on a belt and my brain went:
Equipped: Gender affirming belt.

Thinking about the church nightclub from Kim’s POV like Tequila Sunset Party Cop’s throwing it down and busting moves n shit and Kim’s not only fairly unfazed but crucially like ‘that’s it. thats the best you’ve got.’ like homeboy’s ITCHING to show off just a teeny bit. Those years in the juvie crime dept weren’t wasted on him. He’s got moves but he’s a high ranking RCM officer with a reputation to maintain.
And when he finally dances he goes APESHIT. He could’ve done a Soona and just tapped his foot or just generally half-arsed it but nah he’s out there kicking floorboards that are basically on the brink of collapse anyway just for funsies. He puts everyone else to shame effortlessly and then he’s like ‘well that happened. Let’s move’. Like Harry is so right Kim is the coolest fucker in all of Revachol

Lizzie's death is not just a curse breaker, true.
But it's a factor. It isn't not a factor.
It was ALSO her losing her final life, it was ALSO Lizzie's last fight, and it was ALSO her trying to take on a past winner of the games and failing. It was ALSO her dying to a task Joel gave her, it was ALSO her need for revenge getting the best of her, it was ALSO her red madness leading her to make reckless decisions, but it was also a curse breaker. Unintentional, but it was. It wasn't the only thing her death stood for (because my god she has SO much more going on than that) but it was a part of it, and trying to say it isn't is simply untrue.
She didn't die for Joel, but she wouldn't have been in the End if he hadn't asked her to go after Scott. She didn't die for Jimmy either, but her death had the side effect of helping him. There's a connection there.
Lizzie isn't cursed, and she wasn't a sacrifice, and she's not inconsequential. She went up against one of the best players on the server - Scott, a former winner and consistant top-placer - at the request of her husband, for both the trust and support they share and for the sake of her own goal of revenge. She went down fighting and slipped a little on the way down and she achieved a final death that nobody else in the series can say they've received.
The void.
The fact that it also gave Joel something more to fight for and gave Jimmy a long-awaited semi-victory? That's just another page or two of flavor to add to the book.
