THE SAINTS by The Saints (1968)
The Saints' self-titled and only album was released in the summer of 1968 to local acclaim. The album is mostly garage rock with elements of blues, containing original songs penned by Andy and Warren, as well as a few covers. It was a major hit in New Orleans and the surrounding areas, and their only official single, shot in the dark, topped local charts as well as entering national charts, hitting 61 in the top 100 in the late summer of the same year.
The band enjoyed their success and briefly toured the big cities in Louisiana and surrounding states, but by the beginning of 1969 their fame had begun to dwindle. Internal conflict within the band arose over what direction their sound should go in, and in an attempt to get back into the charts they released another song, that's not fair, but didn't reach levels their previous single did.
In the spring of 1969, the band decided to relocate to Los Angeles, and eventually managed to get a gig performing in a dive bar on the Sunset strip but after a couple of months of mediocre popularity the band parted ways.
Over fifty years later, the album is regarded as a cult classic and copies have since become rare and are sought out by hardcore record collectors.

I've been noticing some classic Aussie sounds being released lately. By classic I mean that rocking sound that Eddy Current Suppression Ring perfected in the early 2000s.
Split System (Melbourne, Australia) is the vehicle for Aaron Mawson's (Stiff Richards) music. The Bandcamp page mentions the "riffage" of both the aforementioned ECSR and The Saints.
This is being released by a holy alliance of Goner Records (US), Drunken Sailor (UK) and Legless (Australia).

results in the deaths of Bobby Saint, the son of mafia boss, Howard Saint, and Otto Krieg, an arms dealer.
However, Krieg's death was faked ....
and is later revealed to be undercover FBI agent Frank Castle...
who is on his final mission before retirement.
Enraged at the death of his son, Saint orders his men to learn everything they can about Krieg and acquires access by bribing corrupt federal law enforcement officers for his federal service history.

Castle is gravely injured in the attack and believed to be dead by Howard Saint.....

(11 July 1959 – 17 May 2023) was an English punk rock and heavy metal bass guitarist and singer. He began his career in 1977, as a bassist for the Australian band the Saints. Afterwards, he joined the the Damned, before founding Tank in 1980.»
