11/22/23.
I've been noticing some classic Aussie sounds being released lately. By classic I mean that rocking sound that Eddy Current Suppression Ring perfected in the early 2000s.
Split System (Melbourne, Australia) is the vehicle for Aaron Mawson's (Stiff Richards) music. The Bandcamp page mentions the "riffage" of both the aforementioned ECSR and The Saints.
This is being released by a holy alliance of Goner Records (US), Drunken Sailor (UK) and Legless (Australia).

Hey! sorry to bother you but I would like to know if you have any books with pan characters that you personally think are good or that you enjoy? everything that I find is either called "one of the worst books I have read", or the pan rep is in a single quote from an useless character, or it is not available to buy anywhere, etc
[cracking knuckles] my time has come.
to avoid this being too long, i'm just gonna list some books with pan rep i've read that i consider favorites or gave 4-5 stars. i note if the pan rep is a main character (mc), love interest (li), or side character (sc). only 5 books here are implied/hinted rep (i note which ones), the rest are canon, stated in or out of text.

checking out my reviews for these books might be helpful, as i note any other rep the pan characters (and books in general) offer, as well as content/trigger warnings, because some of these books have explicit sex and/or deal with heavy topics.

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST – A Musical Parody
Old Joint Stock, Birmingham, Wednesday 28th November, 2018
Taking its cue (and just about everything else) from Disney’s animated feature, right from the whistling Mickey Mouse and the fairy-tale castle at the beginning, this parody from Fat Rascal is a scream from start to finish.  Shadow puppets enact the backstory: but this is no direct re-enactment. …

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST: A Musical Parody King’s Head Theatre 31st October – 17th November 2018 “Be(a)st of new British musicals” ★★★★★ Fat Rascal Theatre’s production of Beauty and the Beast: A Musical Parody at the King’s Head is a great example of the new wave of British musicals currently emerging onto the fringe theatre stage. The description of the show as a parody is a truly accurate representation of this volte-face of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, as boy does it alter the original so that it’s totally back to front. The first thing I want to say about this musical is that it is wonderfully clever. The whole idea of changing the roles so that the Beast is the female and the romantic lead is the male seems obvious. However, it works seamlessly and so holistically that you’d think that this version is the original, and that Belle was always Beau and that Belle’s father Maurice was always Beau’s mother Maureen. The exaggeration – or should I say eggsageration – of the story to increase the comic effect is pure genius. I loved, loved loved every minute of it. When I began writing the review I held back one star because the singing isn’t particularly good. Allie Munro as Siobhan’s sapphic sidekick and the over-arty Maureen shows the most vocal prowess in the five-strong cast. However, the entire ensemble overflows with energy, enthusiasm and dedication to making the evening an outstanding entertainment experience, so why should a few ropey notes deny a perfect five stars. As someone who is equally at home in the vast expanse of the Royal Opera House and the intimate setting of a pub theatre like the King’s Head, what I enjoy most about fringe theatre is the ability to see the expressions – and sweat – on the faces of the performers; my particular favourite in this respect is Katie Wells’ rendition of Siobhan, who is oh so deliciously Jilly Cooper-esque in her jodhpurs and red riding jacket and the delivery of her very saucy lines. Jamie Mawson’s Beau is superbly soppy, especially in his obsession with Jane Austen; reminding me in some ways of a young Alan Partridge – possibly because of his hair and appearance as much as his likeable ineptitude as a leading man. Aaron Dart is perhaps the least effervescent performer, in his roles of Mr Spout and Foxy Enchanter, maybe because he is restricted to mostly supporting parts and not given the opportunity to really shine. However, to me the real heroine of the evening has to be Robyn Grant, not just for being an inwardly beautiful Beast but more so for being the writer of this great piece of theatre, and also Fat Rascal Theatre’s Artistic Director. It’s always inspiring to be in the audience of a superb new show – and this one has talent in spades. Many theatres across the UK will be presenting Beauty and the Beast as a pantomime over the festive season. The story certainly has a hero and a heroine and can be stretched to have a villain and a dame. Every panto has to include singing, dancing, comedy and a happy ending; okay, so Fat Rascal’s version also includes swearing and sexual innuendos so might not be suitable for children. Why not treat yourself to a grown-up (and hilarious) early Christmas present with a visit to Beauty and the Beast: A Musical Parody the King’s Head this November. One thing’s for certain, you’ll never think about a hairy woman in the same way again!

Fulham: Rico, Odoi, Mawson, Marchand, Christie, Seri, Chambers, Bryan, Cairney, Mitrovic, Sessegnon. Huddersfield: Lossl, Zanka, Schindler, Kongolo, Hadergjonaj, Bacuna, Hogg, Billing, Lowe, Pritchard, Mounie.
Dự đoán tỷ số: 1-0 (Hiệp 0-0)

Premier League Relegation: Are Fulham at risk of dropping back to the Championship
(New post on FreeBetAlerts.com) - https://freebetalerts.com/2018/10/15/premier-league-relegation-are-fulham-at-risk-of-dropping-back-to-the-championship/ #Football, #Freebets, #Tips
Premier League Relegation: Are Fulham at risk of dropping back to the Championship Please share.
A 5-1 loss to Arsenal means Fulham have conceded the most Premier League goals this season, with 21. Could they make an immediate Championship return? Ben McAleer thinks it may be the case unless they shape up at the back… “A humiliating home loss to Arsenal left Fulham just two points above the relegation zone, with the west Londoners fortunate that those below them in the league – Huddersfield, Newcastle and Cardiff – are yet to win a match this season”
You can understand the reasoning behind Slavisa Jokanovic’s decision to make a personnel and tactical change once Fulham went 2-1 down against Arsenal last weekend. For the most part, the Cottagers were the better team, with a goal either side of half time from Alexandre Lacazette two of Arsenal’s only four shots on target before Jokanovic elected to remove a defender for an attacker.
However, the change was one that certainly left some scratching their heads. One of the reasons for Fulham’s successful promotion push was a solid defence, with 46 goals conceded in the regular season one of the better returns in the Championship. A centre-back partnership of Denis Odoi and Tim Ream may not be of Premier League standard, but there is at least a familiarity about their styles of play that helped the west London side secure their top-flight berth via the playoffs.
So the decision to remove Ream after 55 minutes against the Gunners and move Maxime Le Marchand alongside Odoi at the half of the defence was baffling to say the least. As Arsenal blitzed Fulham in the last half hour, with the introductions of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Aaron Ramsey having the desired effect at Craven Cottage, much of that was due to an unfamiliar partnership between Le Marchand and Odoi. Would the same have happened with Ream at the back? Who’s to say, but the complete and utter collapse was contributed to by Jokanovic’s tactical mishap.
Problems at the back contributing to Fulham’s underwhelming start
As such, Fulham have now shipped more goals (21) than any other Premier League team this season and are one of three teams in the top two tiers of English football yet to keep a clean sheet in their respective leagues. A return of 16.4 shots conceded per game is the third highest in England’s top tier.
An air of excitement rushed under Putney Bridge this summer as Fulham made 12 signings before the transfer window slammed shut, yet for all the praise earned by the captures of the likes of Jean Michael Seri, Andre Schurrle and the permanent return of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Fulham’s defensive shortcomings could result in an immediate Championship return despite the array of offensive talent.
Indeed, a humiliating home loss to Arsenal left Fulham just two points above the relegation zone, with the west Londoners fortunate that those below them in the league – Huddersfield, Newcastle and Cardiff – are yet to win a match this season. It’s also seen the Cottagers drift into fourth favourites for relegation on the Exchange at [3.20]. For all the pre-season optimism, the clouds are beginning to darken over Craven Cottage even allowing for an unseasonably warm October.
The root problem is undeniably in defence. Fulham didn’t skimp on making new additions at the back over the summer, adding Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Alfie Mawson, Joe Bryan and Calum Chambers to the team, though the latter was ineligible to face parent club Arsenal due to loan stipulations.
Factoring in the goalkeeping arrivals of Fabri and Sergio Rico and it wasn’t as though Jokanovic merely overlooked the defence as a means of strengthening the team. Yet with Fosu-Mensah and Bryan succumbing to injury in the early weeks of the season and Mawson still getting up to speed following a lengthy layoff with a knee problem, Fulham are a little all over the shop at the back.
Goalkeeping uncertainty hasn’t helped at Craven Cottage
The departure of goalkeeper coach Jose Sambade Carreira in August will have also affected Fulham at the back, with he allegedly having internal concerns over the signings of Fabri and Rico, which would go some way to explaining as to why the former was dropped after the opening two Premier League matches in the season and the latter’s only two outings in England have come in the Carabao Cup. Marcus Bettinelli’s return between the sticks suggests Jokanovic is happy to continue with the 26-year-old, despite Fulham’s inability to shut teams out, yet rumoured internal doubts over their first choice goalkeeper should not have played a part in the build up to their Premier League return.
Fortunately for Fulham, the international break came at a good time as it gives Jokanovic and those not on international duty an opportunity to work on the training ground ahead of upcoming winnable league meetings with Cardiff, Bournemouth and Huddersfield. The attack is working well at Craven Cottage, even if they have scored just nine goals this season, though that is the same number as fellow promoted side Wolves, who currently sit seventh and have conceded just six league goals this season as opposed to Fulham’s 21. On the contrary, the best defence is always a good defence.
The Cottagers, then, desperately need to make the most of the domestic hiatus to improve their defensive fortunes, with Fulham struggling to cut out chances from every area of the pitch and it’s seeing them drawn towards the foot of the table. With five games between now and the next international break, a failure to improve sufficiently at the back could well come back to haunt the west London. For now, they sit just outside the relegation zone. If looming trips to Cardiff and Huddersfield – two away back-to-back relegation six-pointers – don’t go as planned, then they could easily enough be sucked into the bottom three and may not come back out again this season.

Arsenal thrash Fulham for ninth straight win
Aaron Ramsey scored an early goal of the season contender as Arsenal thrashed Fulham to record a ninth straight win for the first time since April 2015.
Alexandre Lacazette scored two impressive goals before substitute Ramsey finished off a classic team move and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted twice.
Frenchman Lacazette claimed the opening goal of the London derby at Craven Cottage when he spun on Nacho Monreal’s cutback before drilling the ball past Marcus Bettinelli.
But Fulham drew level before the break as Luciano Vietto pounced on a loose pass by Monreal to thread the ball through to Andre Schurrle, who chipped over Gunners keeper Bernd Leno.
Arsenal were a different side after the interval and Bettinelli – called up by England this week – produced the save of the game to keep out a fierce strike from Bellerin, moments before Lacazette added his second – an early strike from long range which seemed to catch the Fulham keeper by surprise as it nestled in the bottom corner.
Ramsey was introduced in the 67th minute – and the Welshman added a third just 39 seconds later as Arsenal moved from left to right with one-touch passing and neat headers.
The ball made its way to fellow substitute Aubameyang, who swept the ball across the face of the Fulham goal for Ramsey to flick past Bettinelli.
Aubameyang added a fourth as he swivelled on low cross from Hector Bellerin before side-footing the ball into the far corner.
And the Gabon striker rounded off the scoring after a neat low finish to cap a thoroughly entertaining victory in the derby.
Fulham had their opportunities to respond. Aboubakar Kamara had the pick of their chances but shouldered Cyrus Christie’s cross instead of meeting it with his head.
A sixth consecutive Premier League victory for Arsenal moved Unai Emery’s men up to third in the table, a point behind Manchester City and Liverpool, who meet at Anfield later on Sunday.
Fulham remain just above the relegation zone in 17th.
Attack isn’t always the best form of defence
Before Sunday’s game, Fulham striker Aleksander Mitrovic said his side “needed to be smarter at the back” but would continue to play the same way and try to score goals.
Fulham are the only Premier League side not to have kept a clean sheet this season, and the Cottagers have also conceded 21 goals – the most in the division.
But that does not seem to have deterred Slavisa Jokanovic’s men from playing attacking football.
The hosts produced 12 shots on goal in the first half, albeit five of those were blocked and four were off target – but their attacking intent shows no signs of wavering.
The game could have been different as early as three minutes in when Luciano Vietto capitalised on a misplaced pass from Bellerin, but his fierce effort was well saved by Leno, via a Rob Holding deflection.
But as the match developed, the visitors’ quality began to tell and Fulham’s attempt to go toe-to-toe with the Gunners was ruthlessly exploited.
Defeat by the likes of Arsenal will not determine the Cottagers’ season, but Jokanovic may have to tweak his approach against top-quality opposition.
Despite conceding five, there were some positives, as Maxime le Marchand made three crucial interceptions inside his own area.
And in Denis Odoi, Fulham have a calming influence who could help steer the club to safety between now and May.
More to follow.

1846 Nevada- Donner Party
1846'da bir grup kâşif. Nevada'da kardan dolayı hapsolur. Donner Gölü'nün kenarında kamp kuran grup, hastalanan veya açlıktan ölen arkadaşlarını yiyerek hayatta kalır. 87 kişiden 48'i canlı kurtulur.
Steven Callahan - 1982 Atlantik Okyanusu

Prediksi Liga Inggris Huddersfield Town vs Swansea City 10 Maret 2018
Perkiraan Line Up Huddersfield vs Swansea City:
Huddersfield: Lossl – Smith – Zanka – Schindler – Lowe – Hoggs – Williams – Billing –Ptrichard– Ince – Mounie.
Swansea City: Fabianski – Naughton – Fernandez – Mawson – Olsson – Ki – Clucas – Carroll – Abraham – Dyer – Ayew.
