What if Bria stole Matt's notebook and attempts to embarrass him by showing everyone (including Gus) is drawings in it and calling him a weirdo for it. Matt is humiliated and runs off and assumes Gus wants nothing to do with him. Gus is just pissed off that Bria did something like that but cares way more about finding Matt, so he ends up stealing the book back from her. He catches up to Matt, hands the book back, and comments how he thinks this picture of them is his favorite, leaving Matt stunned that Gus isn't weirded out and still wants anything to do with him.

If it's not Bria, then it would probably be Boscha or maybe the both of them were working together. Like Bria is showing everyone the notebook and what's inside it while Boscha is keeping Matt from getting it back while calling him a weirdo as Bria laughs at how cringe the drawings are.

Like this was during a Flyer Derby practice with the Emerald Entrails and there are a lot of people watching (which were Luz and the rest of the friend group that are not the Entrails were there as support, Boscha since Grugby season hasn’t started yet so she was bored, Bria and some Glandus High students but only so they could make fun of the Hex High students and Matt who wanted to support Gus while also draw him some more). Either Bria or Boscha saw Matt with his notebook and sees that he seems to be writing in it as well as looked to be very personal to him, so they originally thought that it was a diary of some sorts and after deciding to team up together, they came up with a plan with each other to embarrass him in front of everyone.

After Matt put his notebook in his bag and gets up to get a snack, Bria and Boscha both take the notebook and look inside it to see all of the drawings that are of Gus as well as a few of Matt and Gus acting as a couple which the two laugh at because of how cringy they thought the drawings were.

When Matt gets back from getting some Hex-mix, he sees Bria and Boscha are looking through his notebook and are clearly laughing at his drawings. Horrified by the thought of what they could possibly be planning to do with it, he goes over to them and tries to get it back from them, but Boscha keeps him from getting it from Bria which in turn draws a lot of people’s attention including Gus, which was great for Bria and Boscha but less great for Matt.

Noticing that they now have everyone’s attention, Bria starts showing everyone the drawings that are inside while making it well known that they were all made by Matt as Boscha laughs while making comments about how cringy it is to be someone that would draw the same person so many times and that only a weirdo would make couple’s drawings with someone who doesn’t like them back, all while making sure that she looks at Matt as she says those things.

Matt, feeling humiliated, grabs his notebook back from them and puts it in his bag before quickly leaving the bleachers while putting his hood up as an attempt to hide his face before anyone, mainly Gus, could say anything to him as Bria, the Glandus High students and Boscha could be heard laughing. Gus, without taking the time to even take off his derby uniform, runs after him while Skara is trying to calm down her girlfriend, so she doesn’t crush them with vines as Hunter is restraining Viney to keep her from going to town on Boscha and Bria for what they did.

When Gus finds him, Matt is sitting by a boiling pond while looking at his notebook before getting upset and angrily throwing it into the pond. Luckily Gus was quick enough to able to use his magic to stop it in midair before it got burned by the boiling water and levitates it to him which causes Matt to realize that he’s there. Gus smiles at him but Matt just looks away from him, thinking that Gus is just comforting him to be nice but is secretly weirded out by Matt drawing him so many times.

Gus, seeing Matt look away from him, sighs before looking inside the notebook and smiles while blushing at a drawing of them wearing flower crowns that are made from drawing Gus using illusion magic. He walks up to Matt to sit down beside him before telling him that he thinks that his drawings are amazing and that the ones with both of them together are his favorite which surprises Matt. Matt, still stunned, asks Gus if he doesn’t find it weird or even creepy that Matt is drawing him so much to which the other witch tells him that of course he doesn’t find it weird or creepy at all, in fact he finds it to be really sweet and cute. Matt blushes as the other witch’s face goes red at his confession as he gives Matt his notebook back before asking him if he would be comfortable with showing him more of his drawings to which Matt, still blushing, nods a little and opens his notebook while sitting close to Gus so the said witch could see his drawings as Gus smiles while holding Matt close to him as the two witches look through the notebook together, both blushing at the closeness of the other.

Was anyone else confused about Bria being mean in toh? I like Gus and Matholomew in S2 Ep5 and I think they have some great development, but Bria is just nice in one moment and mean in the next. Was her kindness all a lie and a trick, and she’s a jerk the whole time? Or did the thirst for power corrupt her and her friends?

I don’t care if you ship Lunter. I like Huntlow. That’s my opinion. No, im not gonna change it coz you think so. Have your opinion, just don’t go barking at me.

In my OPINION: (see the word opinion)-(you can have ur own)

HUNTLOW/WINTER: bestest ship. Works well. They complete eachother and only have a 1 and 1/2 (approx) age difference, which is pretty normal for teens. My personal favourite. Very cute, fluffy and makes u have the fuzzies. They have a good chance of long lasting relationship.

LUNTER: Lunter would work. Lunter is undeniably a great relationship. Only 2 year age gap (approx), also normal teen age. They go well together. But I headcannon them as siblings. HEADCANNON. So for me, Lunter is sweet home Alabama.

*EDIT: I no longer headcannon Lunter as siblings but I do think they they see each other as siblings.

GUNTER: Look, ship what you want but the age difference is too much for me, 4 years, isn’t a lot, but while in teenage years, it’s a bit weird. Maybe when they’re older, like in their 20’s, but as teens? Not so great. They’re closer to brothers. They would support each other. Good relationship.

HUNTRIC/GOLDRIC: Objectively, there is nothing wrong with it. They’d probably get along super well. Same age. But they haven’t even met. And along with my ‘Luz and Hunter Siblings’ headcannon, it would be a brother-in-law, so also quite incest.

*EDIT: one again, headcannon no longer in use

AMITER: They would fight a bit, both having competitive attitudes and lots and lots of trauma. All the characters have trauma but I think Amity and Hunter as a couple would overthrow the trauma scale. Also I’m a Lumity person, so Amiter just doesn’t work for me.

HUNTLOWDRIC: um. Imma have to go with a no. Nothing wrong with it except the fact: Hunter and Edric have never met, Willow has trauma with Amity despite making it up, dating her brother is a little weird, and again it would all revolve back to the siblings thing.

*EDIT: no sibling thing

SKARA AND/OR VINEY X HUNTER: Both of them would be compatible with him, but I headcannon Viney as Lesbian. Skara, she’d be fine. If Willow didn’t exist she’d probably be what I’d ship Hunter with.

VINEARA: Very goods. I likes. Viney x Skara is good, but not my fav Viney ship. Skara sits with bat boy.

VINEMIRA: Best Viney ship. Viney and Emira. The lebanons. Lesbeans. Lesbiabians. Women lovers. Both headcannoned as lesbiansss.

LUMITY: yes. Shows main ship. Cannon. Works well. Help each other. Just yes.

GUSTHOLOMULE: not a popular ship, but I quite enjoy it. Matt is gay af. I think it’s a cool ship.

GUS X BRIA: no. I don’t- why- why. Why is this… I don’t get it.

(Sorry for any spelling or grammar. Also sorry for all my drawing mistakes.)

I drew another of my next generation kids in causal clothes and their palisman. This time, I drew Bria's daughter, Felicia.

(PS. I wanted to try and make the out slightly more Boiling Isles like, so I thought, "Why not an eye ball pattern?" But then I was done realized a purple eye ball is the symbol for oracle magic, and she only studies illusion magic, and now I feel like an idiot.)

Anyway, here are some more small facts about her:

When her mom found out she wanted to study illusion, she wasn't upset until Felicia said it would be the only type of magic she studied because she felt that learning about more than one magic type would be overwhelming for her. Bria tried to get her to change her mind and study another magic with it or change the one magic type she studied, but she couldn't.

Felicia originally went to school at Glandus but has recently been transferred to Hexside.

Felicia looks up to Augustus Porter and wants to be his apprentice one day. She doesn't believe this will ever happen, though. She might be the best in her class, but she's not Gus Porter good.

Felicia has a crush on Azura Noceda, one of my Lumity kids.

An unnecessary and in-depth analysis of magic colors used in TOH (Part 1):

At first glance it might seem like the colors used in spell circles and other magic casting is associated with the type of magic used. However, the colors that different characters use tends to be constant regardless of what type of magic they’re casting (with a few exceptions). It may not actually have any significance other than being their favorite color, but I decided to look into it further since there is a ton of symbolism in this show.

Red:

Skara, Belos, Hunter w/ staff

Red is associated with love, passion, strength, leadership but also aggression, war, danger, defiance.

In Belos’ case, the red can be seen as a symbol of his desire for power and determination to succeed in his goal to destroy witches and demons. Hunter, likewise, was influenced by Belos during the time that he used red magic, though it’s unclear whether it was from the staff itself or as a result of his influence over Hunter. Skara, on the other hand, though also very passionate, fiery, and strong, has been shown to care about her friends and take initiative to help them, so red isn’t necessarily bad.

Orange:

Boscha, Bria, Tinella Nosa, Eberwolf

Orange is associated with enthusiasm, fun, determination, success, but also being over-emotional, superficial and insincere.

I would have expected Boscha and Bria to have red magic, considering their desire for power, but after giving it some thought it’s really more of attention-seeking behavior, which fits right in with these traits. They clearly are determined to succeed in whatever they try as well as superficial and insincere. We don’t know a lot about Tiny Nose and Eberwolf, but they both seem to have fun and ferocious personalities which also fits with the orange symbolism.

Green:

Willow, Principal Bump, Demon Hunters

Light green: Terra Snapdragon, Angmar (possibly Jerbo)

Green is associated with harmony, safety, growth, and of course nature but also with jealousy, greed and corruption

Green fits Willow not only because she excels at plant magic but also because of her personality. Willow cares very deeply about harmony and safety among her friends and family and also has gone through tremendous growth as a character. Likewise, Bump is shown to be protective of the safety and harmony of the Hexside students. The demon hunters don’t share any of these positive traits, but the one defining characteristic that they do have is greed.

Angmar and Terra having similar colors puzzled me because they are so different aside from having plant magic in common. Greed and corruption suits Terra quite well though and while Angmar has also shown to be somewhat greedy, he is also very whimsical and seems like somebody that values harmony (he likes butterflies!). Apparently yellowish green can indicate decay (Terra) while pale green can signify peace (Angmar). Jerbo is listed as using white magic but I think his may also be a light green.

Blue:

Gwendolyn Clawthorne, Viney, Hettie Cutburn

Blue is associated with stability, loyalty, responsibility, security, but also coldness, control, depression

Viney is studying both healing and beast keeping, and Gwen’s coven is beast keeping, while Hettie is the healing Coven Head. Both of these types of magic are rooted in caring for others; or responsibility for others. Gwen can be oblivious and controlling but she’s still very much loyal to her family and seeks to provide a (somewhat misguided) sense of stability and security for her children. Viney also seems very self-assured and dependable which fits well with these traits. We don’t know much about Hettie but she definitely comes across as cold and possibly controlling.
