i cannot stress enough how well TOH handles ships, and it's also the funnist thing ever. like, here are the canon/semi-canon ones:
Lumity - a love story about two girls discovering their identities and finding love where both of them thought that it wasn't possible.
Raeda - a tragic, bittersweet but lovely tale about letting someone go and loving someone at their best but also their worst.
Huntlow - an uplifting, warm story about two people with disabilities lifting each other up, inspiring and supporting each other through tough times.
Gustholomule - 12 year olds being 12 year olds

“lumity>>” this “huntlow>>” that- Stop. they’re both incredible depictions of healthy relationships for different reasons.
lumity depicts a relationship put under stress. it’s well established luz and amity are two characters who love each other and work beautifully together, but the universe won’t stop throwing everything it has at them. the beauty of their relationship is seeing how they tackle it with trust, patience, honesty, and confidence. being there for each other.
huntlow shows what happens when two turbulent characters find security in each other. hunter and willow have both been through a lot. they both are great examples of the lasting effects shit can leave. yet, they both provide a shoulder for the other to lean on. when they have each other it’s like the trauma just cancels out. she found me crying and she crew too and we both crode.

Are there actual people that don't like Huntlow? Like.. why? They're cute, and cannon, and had some really good scenes despite the rushed ending.. I think they're good for eachother anyway, hunter is anxious and easily stressed, and willow is super comforting and protective, while willow tends to bottle her issues up and act like everything is okay, and hunter can tell that it isn't.
