I don't think enough people talk about YOU TWO. People are always attributing various things to gaster, but there were two other people in the room with him when it happened. They could be the ones doing these things. I always felt like a lot of the things attributed to him seem to contradict each other personality-wise. Maybe one of them is going around giving random short guys new, never-before-seen complexes while the other is handing out eggs, or making fountains.
On deltarune.com/chair there's dialogue that appears in the tab name: "But what if it could get... ...darker than dark?" This seems like it was said surrounding one of Gaster's dark experiments, but notably, it is not in all capital letters, like Gaster always speaks in. This was someone else talking. They use capitalization the normal way, just like the voice that discards the vessel, so they could be the same person. I know just about everyone uses capitalization the normal way, the connecting thread here is both being in relation to Gaster, the capitalization just means that them being the same person is allowed.

i wonder if the deltarune secret bosses will ever be as hard as Jevil again. Bc like, Jevil was hard, he was sooo fucking hard, he made my eye bleed more than once, only one who also managed that was spamton NEO solo, but that wasn't a secret boss it was the final, so Jevil remains to be the hardest secret boss for now.
On top of that, Jevil has the particularity of being a boss you can easily go back to, which is fair! Imagine if, like Spamton, you were locked from the main story after you open up his gay little cell. People have taken MONTHS to beat this goofy motherfucker, now imagine if you got locked forced to do that.
So there really are two possibilities: either future secret bosses aren't as tough as Jevil OR maybe they work just like him, allowing you to fight them whenever you want and later go back to the future. And I really doubt the later because, like, with Jevil that worked bc there was little to no interaction.
Third secret option is Toby decided to be mean and force you to pay for your actions but I think I'd be allowed to cancel him on Twitter if he did that for making my eyeball straight up blow up.

I really like your theory about Spamton basically haunting a mannequin after death. Have you ever touched upon the reaction from Jevil (or anyone, really) upon seeing the new Spamton? Especially considering Spamton isn't even aware he 'died'.
^ how i think jevil's first sight of Spamton would go. i love this ask. this is referring to some headcanons I made a while back, I'll link it here for the one post and the general ghost spamton theory is linked in that one as well. Going to elaborate on it more under the cut for those interested + more art.
In general I think that people from Spamton's past wouldn't really care if they notice at all, since he wasn't in the business of making close friends with anyone. With the Addisons, in my interpretation he had a "weird co-worker" relationship with them, and while Addisons in general treated each other like potential business competitors that they had to make-nice with, Spamton is especially easy to single out for being visibly and temperamentally different. His altered, current state is something they'd feel at least uncomfortable by, but many wouldn't have been too close with him to begin with for them to talk about it with him directly. Would get whispered about between each other for sure, like we saw with them talking about Spamton after the NEO fight. It moves him from the "disgraced guy I used to know" category to the "actually unpleasant to look at or think about" territory. This goes for Swatch, Queen, and Seam (less so), who seem to buy heavily into the Lightner and Darkner dynamic, with Spamton corrupting the Lightner's dream being a strong taboo against what it means to be a Darkner.
As for what Jevil thinks, Spamton during the NEO fight is both a beautiful and horrifying display. Jevil at this point hasn't seen him in years since his imprisonment, and in their time apart Jevil has grown to find novelty in the cage that everyone else besides him is in since he's created huge emotional distance between him and the reality he lives in. Seeing the fact that Spamton had corrupted an abandoned dream of a Lightner and was causing so much chaos to the established order of the world would be exhilarating, but at the same time seeing that Spamton had accomplished this and still had his strings visible (and changed to a marionette puppet with no symbolic agency), it'd be a painful confirmation of his worldview that even Spamton, who deep down he still cares for, could never have been free.
Jevil would think at first he'd just gone through some nebulous situation to change what he looks like, since ofc he himself has toy-like traits (arguable if that happened with Gasterfication or not), Seam is a plushie cat, and other Card Castle Darkners are based on toys, but feeling the lack of life combined with the symbolic body of Spamton would mean to him something bigger had went wrong. He wouldn't dare to bring it up in an empathetic way, stuck in his mindset that it doesn't matter, but it'd still hit a part of him he doesn't like to think still exists. It's something he gets over quickly, almost performatively going back to fucking with him and taking advantage of his fear for entertainment, but it didn't sit well at first.
To me, the fact Spamton "died" isn't really a huge deal, kind of like with the ghosts in Undertale where no one really cares they're just ghosts. They're just doing their thing. To me it'd be fine if neither of them find out what happened for certain, but it's something that adds Flavor to his character.

what really fucks me up is the fact that like. we still technically don’t know whether spamton’s “heaven” is the light world or our reality (aka outside the game)
because the fact that he was (presumably) able to see the light world through the shadow crystal would explain why he would want to reach there to be big. it would also make sense narratively, since reaching the light world would give him importance, as his purpose as a darkner is clearly not working for him
but then again, he knows what the sun looks like (and is seemingly obsessed with it, given how he has it painted everywhere). and there are no windows in the computer lab. so, the sun probably doesn’t refer to the light world, since he never saw it through the crystal. he COULD possibly just know what the sun looks like based on common knowledge, but…IS that common knowledge? do regular darkners know what the light works looks like?
wanting to reach our reality would ALSO make more sense when you think about how he’s likely in contact with gaster—the same guy who presumably told jevil the world is a game and knows about our reality
so…???

DELTARUNE PREDICTION TIME
I hope I finish this post before the anniversary of chapter 1 (nothing else notable happens on that day) I'm putting my 100% correct theories+ predictions here just in case Toby decides to release chapter 3 alone for some reason (I personally think he's releasing just 3 and 4 together next year), but who knows with that dog.
CHAPTER 3
As everyone else thinks, it's safe to say that the dark world in chapter 3 is probably gonna be TV themed. With different areas going through different channels.
THE BOSS
I don't think we can predict who exactly the main villain is yet based off of one thing Jevil said about a queen in one line. But it would make sense if it were some fucked up game show host guy. Maybe since the Spade King represents Susie's dad, and Queen represents a mother, the chapter 3 boss could represent that estranged uncle that nobody really talks about.
Also Tenna is probably the guy that betrayed Spamton. Not Mike.
THE SHADOWMEN
They're just gonna be silly litle guys.
THE WEATHER CHANNEL
Also sily.
THE POLICE
Since Toriel called the police and Kris left the door opened, I think that either Undyne shows up, or Napstablook shows up wearing Undyne's Undertale armor. Both of which would be awesome sauce.
NOELLE
No idea if she'll show up in the chapter. But I also have no clue why else the Lost Girl theme was in that unused sneaking section. Yes I'm still thinking about this.
THE END
I believe that chapter 3 might end with Kris sealing the fountain. Like you walk up, that sickass guitar riff plays, the screen fades to white, and the chapter ends (assuming it releases with chapter 4). Imagine how relieving it would be that the chapter doesn't have to end on a massive cliffhanger!
CHAPTER 4
Based on the screenshots we got for the 2022 status update, I don't think chapter 4 will have a dark world. It seems like a nice intermission chapter to just hang out with Susie in Hometown for a couple hours. We could get more insight into the residents of the town, as well as some lore.
i'm a huge fan of rain so this seems like the best the game will ever get.
I think its possible that Toby might have changed his might about releasing 3-5 together, and that he might just release 3 and 4. Assuming this chapter is just in the light world, it would probably be a lot faster to develop. No enemies, no battles, just cutscenes.
Keep in mind, I just took one programming class 5 years ago, so I'm not the ultimate authority on game design. But if it is easier to develop, I think we could see chapters 3+4 next fall.
I don't really have any other predictions for chapter 4 since all we have are a few screenshots, and even less for the future chapters. So I'm just going to talk about other general things in the game.
THE BUNKER
Gaster is afoot. Also maybe Dess or something idk yet. Oh and a dark fountain too. Maybe even the supply closet one.
DARK WORLDS
I don't think EVERY room with double doors is going to be a dark world, especially considering that Toby can just retcon them in between chapters, so I like to go off of narrative significance.
I think there will totally be a dark world in the church, considering the Dreemurr family has a significant amount of history with it, as well as the interesting thing you could do with it. Like a giant pipe organ castle or something.
There probably won't be a dark world in Ice-E's, unless something super traumatizing happened to Kris there when they were a kid. But I still have my eye on that Ice-E guy. Something fishy is absolutely going on with him.
why is he so big
Asgore's flower shop seems like a really good place for a dark world, and I need to see what the golden flower darkener would be. The empty fridge could even be like the ice palace from Dragon Blazers.
THE HOLIDAYS
Rudy is most likely going to die. I really don't want him to but unfortunately it would be really good for the story. Noelle would be forced to stand up to her mom like she did to Queen.
Also Noelle's mom's name is probably either Clarice or Carol.
WEIRD ROUTE
Its likely that not every chapter will have a weird route. I think they are more tied to Noelle's presence, due to her affinity for video game glitches when she was younger. Especially because it seems like the route itself isn't supposed to happen in the game world. And the weird route is a way to break out of the whole "your choices don't matter" thing. You might even be able to save Rudy in the route, at the cost of Noelle's mental state and every other horrible thing you may have to do.
THE KNIGHT
I don't think the Knight will be the main antagonist. It might get revealed relatively early (like chapter 5), unless its Gaster or something. The actual main antagonist of the game will be either the Roaring Titans or the Angel.
THE ROARING
This is probably gonna happen at some point. Ralsei leaves for ONE minute and someone opens a dark fountain in a dark world. Can't have shit.

•••Some Spamton thoughts and headcanons•••
[how would he even fall in love?
I think with him it's pretty 'fast and hard' before his 'Big Shot' days. He was a struggling young man, I know he had friends at least, but I think he wanted a partner in the long run - just something he knew he'd want to have in the future. So I think a partner would be a heavens gift in his eyes - someone who loves a simple guy like him. He doesn't think of himself as a complete loser, I think he was just averagely normal and knew it. Maybe had some mental/neurodivergent struggles, maybe even stuttered or had a speech impediment of some sort.
Why 'fast and hard' - that's just specific for him, not much here. People fall in love differently, that's what I pick for him. But he falls hard and fast for his friends, not strangers or anyone who showed him just a bit of interest, bro knew he had value.
During 'Big Shot' days I think his ego definetly inflated and hurt him as a concequence. I definetly think he had a whore phase, cause who the fuck wouldn't in his specific place. Probably had his heart broken quite a few times during this period too from getting too attached too quickly from the lack of romantic experience. As time went on and his insecurity in his abilities grew, this definetly took a tall on his love life - I'd say he went back to falling only for closest friends/people who he conceded his stress and worries in (maybe Jevil, maybe Swatch, maybe someone else). I think he stopped falling for those that were after his success but never heightened his standards because he thought himself as a shitty partner at that point as well.
Then after a couple of years of constant stress and growing depression, maybe substance abuse (be it alcohol or nicotine, not necessarily drugs) his psyche was broken by him being thrown out of Queen's mansion (that's trauma number one).
Actually, no, his trauma number one was his friends turning away from him. It's pretty much confirmed he had NO ONE.
Trauma number two would be his insecurity growth and his uncertainty of the future, his abilities, definetly had impostor syndrome and some sort of personality crisis. That would happen while his success grew and his friends turned away from him.
Trauma number three is the phone not ringing anymore. That's when depression started.
Then him being thrown out.
I'd say that's when his psyche finally took damage that could not be reversed, bro is now slightly insane.
Then he tried to impersonate Swatch and took a swim in the acid river - that's another trauma. I think that's the first time his mind was properly smeared against the ground, leaving him scared and hopeless.
He never stopped trying to come back, of course, but that's just Spamton's iron will, the traumas just temporarily slowed him down.
And then years of homelessness beat him down to the level he is now - just harsh physical conditions.
I think what makes him absolutely and utterly amazing is his inner strength, perseverance and unwillingness to give up under any circumstance, just pure drive, because in his place I would not have gone for as long as he has.
And I can't even begin to imagine how fucked up everything he went through is.
Anyway, as for when his partner would come in: I like an AU where Spamton didn't come with Kris and co. but just returned to Cyber City. I think meeting with Kris definetly calmed him down in his insane pursuit of godhood, now he' would be ready to take things slow for once.
I say a month is enough reflection time for him to calm down and to come to terms with everything that happened regarding Kris; Spamton also definetly reflected on him nearly killing the kid - I don't think he was proud of that.
He is definetly a bitter, angry, hurt man, but with a good heart beneath all the pain and trauma he's endured.
So I say he is willing to keep hurting and using others mindlessly, before he befriends them.
So in the scenario where he would stumble across a future partner - he wouldn't trust them fully for a month or so, no matter how nice of interactions they have.
Than maybe they defend him in a street fight and he starts trusting them a bit more - maybe thinks they would be useful to keep around as a tough companion, but nothing more.
Than maybe they do something out of the goodness of their own heart and he genuinely appreciates it - I say that's them being genuinely interested in his shop, maybe helping him dumpster dive. I have a small nice headcanon that Spamton's future partner tries to help him by finding or thrifting and unwanted laptop to expand his business o line - maybe they don't find a laptop for him after all, or maybe they do - why the fuck not - but I say that's the moment he's touched by the reckless effort and decides they are now acquaintances instead of customer/salesman business partners.
And after that his future s/o feels easier around him as well, visits him more, they talk about things, share meals. Maybe hang out (definetly do more dumpster diving) or travel together somewhere nice, Spamton takes them to quite a few cool sightseeing spots. Maybe they sneak onto a roof of a skyscraper and have a meal there.
Maybe Spamton's now friend sneaks away cool dishes for him from a work event, and then finally fully acknowledges Spamton being homeless and pities him (not openly, they know Spamton's ego and heart couldn't handle it) and goes 'fuck it' and casually invites him to their house for lunch.
Maybe Spamton declines the offer for a month straight and then agrees just out of annoyance and then actually loves the experience, and maybe, surrounded by comfort and warmth of a home, having warm food in him, being in company of a person he trusts his life with (even if out of practical reasons) he fucking RELAXES for once in his horrible, grim life and thinks 'huh, I should do that more often'.
So they do, because god knows his friend is having a small crush on him already (they are weird and their tastes are insane), and maybe Spamton finally realised that he has made a friend and maybe that realisation hits him just a bit too hard and a small part of his broken heart gets put back in place. And maybe after that he tells the reader that he is grateful for them as a friend, and admits that for the first time in a long time, he feels content about anything in his life.
And maybe that's when he notices to himself that the reader is somewhat hot, and their strength is impressive, and their compassion and kindness is inspiring, and the contrast of him and Spamton is comforting and refreshing.
And maybe then reader shares a dark secret - about their past and their insecurities, their admiration for Spamton's strength and how they would have never been as tough as Spamton and that's why they think he's so cool and inspiring to them personally.
And maybe that's the moment Spamton takes a compliment genuienly and feels like the person in front of him appreciates Spamton for what he is - his strengths and weaknesses. And then just maybe, just maybe, realises he feels the same deep way about reader.
And that's when the LOVE kicks in hooooo boy.
His future s/o knows they have an infatuation with him. But then after they share a vulnerable moment, they start to get even closer, hang out more. Spamton becomes a regular guest in their home and they get used to him being close. And infatuation grows into comfort, feeling of safety and fondness. The closer they get - the closer they are physically - that results in intimate interest.
And Spamton feels just the same way, although processes it much worse - he IS a homeless mentally ill old man after all, and he knows it.
But when the confrontation of the live confession happens - that's probably when his mental shit hits the fan in his brains. Good thing his love interest is right there to comfort him :)

Why was Spamton so much more unsettling than Jevil?!?!
(Deltarune Chapter 2 spoilers under the funny line!)
I thought about this stuff when i was in the shower, so it probably doesn't make much sense but here goes!!!
Alright, I might be having serious brainrot, but i think compared to Jevil, Spamton is unsettling as FUCK. I mean, one of them is a fella in a jail cell somewhere that really likes chaos (and is also probably based on a random LINE sticker pack)...
Spamton, on the other hand, while also having similar thoughts of freedom and is also similarly Kind Of Unhinged, is a bit more disturbing, especially when you're working to fight his NEO form. One event that sticks out to me is when you transfer his data onto the Empty Disk. As the data starts transferring, line by line, the shop turns greyscale, the music lowers in speed, and Spamton disappears.
When playing through the game myself, I immediately left because Crap! I Kinda Liked That Guy! Something about him just Disappearing just got to me. Another pretty unsettling thing that happens is at the end of the Spamton NEO fight, he just. Falls to the ground, motionless. His NEO form lies there on a black background for what seemed like Hours, and the gang appears on a path leading out of the basement (IIRC.)
Now, I don't think everything literally turned Pitch Black for the gang when they were on the tracks there. Seems that the game intentionally has everything else black out to emphasise what happened to US, the player. The same goes for the shop, in a way. While maybe the colour DID get transferred from the room along with Spamton (and the telephone???) it's like the game litters these jarring, quiet moments with Spamton throughout the game. But why?
Maybe it's to show the parallels of Spamton to Kris. Kris is also unsettled by Spamton, especially seen after the fight, when they yell that they're not OK (if that option is picked.) Spamton may have painted a picture to Kris that there's no way out of being puppeted forever. (He talks about not being [Big] enough and that makes new goofy theories spring up in my head which i'll spare you guys from.) Kris is pretty annoyed by us, the players, already, and they DO have times where they just sever our connection to them through the SOUL, but these periods of time are brief. Spamton crushed the hopes that Kris may have had of completely regaining control.
But why show the parallels to US? What do we do, rewrite the game to make things go better for Spamton and Kris? Honestly, there's no way of knowing until at least chapters 3-5 come out. I need more LORE...... more TINY CHUNKS OF PLOT....... more FUNEE CHARACTERS......... to think about and tie back to this.
That's pretty much all I had to say, to be honest. I had a lot more ideas about this in the shower, but they don't make much sense to me now. PLEASE tell me what you guys think because there are probably a lot of pieces i didn't connect that well, and things i would've got wrong. I don't know where I thought I was going with this. Just putting my thoughts here so I can look back when the rest of the chapters come out and laugh.
TL;DR: Spamton's presented as being unsettling because he has pretty similar toils to Kris, who is also probably unsettled by him.

OKOK. so i’m kinda in the starkid/nerdy prudes must die fandom rn but i know for a fact if i finished adventure time and started watching fiona and cake, that would quite literally become my entire personality for the next 3 months because simon and prismo (and marceline and princess bubblegum and all my other favorite characters) make me insane. but i haven’t done that because well. i’ve gotta write tllr yknow..
anyway, my absolute most favorite pieces of media of all time are undertale and deltarune guys. i cant put in words how much those games mean to me holy shit. as i’m writing this i’m sitting next to my jevil and sans and spamton plushie and they are saying hi. anywayyy yeah i was in the deltarune fandom for a bit it was fun. spamton is silly fucked up creature. jevil is my all time favorite tho
AND THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES… my favorite thing ever fr. y’all. LISTEN TO TMA SERIOUSLY YOU’LL PROBABLY LIKE IT!! it’s a horror podcast and it’s seriously the best fuckinf thing ever it’s so amazing seriously. it’s a bit hard to get into at first because season 1 is less story driven BUT HOLY SHIT. AHHHH ITS SO FUCKING GOOD. jon is one of my favorite blorbos ever and so is michael because he’s a silly distortion guy. just trust me and listen to TMA it will actually change your life.
also i love the amazing world of gumball so fucking much. i wasn’t allowed to watch cartoon network as a kid (idk why??) so i first watched tawog last year and holy shit holy shit it’s my favorite thing ever. rob. ROB!!!! ROB IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHARACTER. SO IS MR SMALL. AHHHH!!!! anyway i love tawog i’ve drawn a lot of fanart and even wrote a 60k word fanfiction (about what happens after The Inquisition because that ending fucked me up) that i’ve Never and will probably never show anyone because it’s probably Not that good. but it was sooo Important to me back then. tawog just means so much to me it :))) it changed me as a person. nobody’s a nobody and everybody is weird like you and me.
i also really like hollow knight! i haven’t played it in a while but i was at 111% completion on one of my playthroughs (CURSE YOU PANTHEON 4). i’m also super fucking excited for silksong obviously and i will say this now: WHEN SILKSONG FINALLY RELEASES… i will probably go on hiatus here LMAO. sorry but guys. SILKSONG…. honestly same for new deltarune chapters. the second chapters 3, 4, and 5 release it is sooo over for me. i probably won’t post much here for a few months during that. but that’s fine!! i’ll never abandon tllr but sometimes some things are more important to my silly little brain :3
gravity falls quite literally changed my life in 2018. like i can’t even explain it, but it’s how i was introduced to online fandoms and fanart in general. dipper LITERALLY made me trans (not literally but pretty much). it’s how i started watching other amazing cartoons and series i love, it’s literally what made me get into drawing art and writing and stuff. it’s what made me start making ocs. it literally made me an artist guys. which is how i started writing. without gravity falls and it’s effect it had on me, this account might have never existed?? i’m being super dramatic but wowww. i was so autistic about that silly cartoon
minecraft i love. i’ve been playing minecraft for over a decade and won’t stop because it’s like, probably a special interest of mine? i’ve watch minecraft youtubers forever too, hermitcraft and the life series are my favorite. i’m a huge grian fan too, been watching him since the evo days. anyway if u play minecraft and wanna play with me sometime, feel free to ask!!! :D i love making new friends and playing video games with people!!! let’s make a world together!!!
also i like terraria and stardew valley, and animal crossing new horizons but i haven’t played that in a few years. hmm other games i like are oneshot game, NITW, omori, celeste, cuphead, fnaf (although i’ve only played the first 5 games and am super super behind on the lore), ori, dead cells, untitled goose game (this is for u anon), and probably more i’m forgetting! feel free to recommend me some video games and we can even play together :3
other series i love are the umbrella academy. soooo autistic about this show it’s fucking AMAZING!!!!!! klaus is my favorite character. anyway i also like what we do in the shadows. it made me super autistic about vampires (before i watched this show i kinda thought vampires were cringe IDK WHY I’M SORRYY). the netflix show lucifer made me insane a few years ago and is what probably indirectly inspired me to give Dew wings. i also like our flag means death, breaking bad, moon knight, and camp here in there (another podcast i HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend, will wood made the soundtrack!)
i LOVEEE FINAL SPACE!! avocato has been my pfp on this account forever and now i feel like i can’t ever change it (i don’t want to). final space is seriously amazing!!! but it was cancelled and basically got fucked over by the networks- infinity train style. idk, stuff happened and it was removed from hbo max so there’s not really anywhere to watch it (legally) except for netflix international iirc? but it’s getting removed from that too i think. super fucking sad :( it ended on a huge cliffhanger too BUT there is a graphic novel being made!!!! super excited about that!
other cartoons i like are over the garden wall (dressed up as wirt for halloween last year), the owl house, adventure time, regular show, steven universe, infinity train, bojack horseman, rick and morty, mlp, the midnight gospel, and so much more i’m forgetting. OH anime i like are death note, demon slayer (haven’t caught up yet on the latest seasons tho), and MOB PSYCHO 100!! vampire in the garden on netflix is really amazing as well.
this is sooo long but now i gotta talk about my favorite music artists. WILL WOOD (AND THE TAPEWORMS) IS MY FAVORITEEE. I ALSO LOVEEE JHARIAH!!! AND HARLEY POE!!!!! top three of all time. i also like toby fox obviously, and glass beach (LITERALLY GOING TO SEE THEM IN MARCH AND I AM SOOO EXCITED!!!), mcr, shayfer james, weezer, mitski, lemon demon, set it off, tally hall, gerard way, and probably more i’m forgetting. i also like musicals!! (i was in the spongebob musical earlier this year for school! i was larry the lobster :))

Dazai Osamu/Nakahara Chuuya or skk or whatever: one of my friends hates them so they deserve to be here
Crowley/Aziraphale: agree on the overexposure level of annoying but aside from that they seem like a cute couple. however i think the fans were largely unbearable and there was problems with antisemitism
Steve Harrington/Eddie Munson: nothing wrong with it but definitely inescapable and super fucking annoying, sorry. i'd have no objection to it being canon but people just went way too crazy for it and now idk.
Reylo: absolutely deserves the win
Star Butterfly/Marco Diaz: this shit was fucking messy. the creators handled it terribly. from what little i know. it can stay
Spamton/Jevil: it can stay only because spamton is annoying as fuck (as was the plan surely) not bc of him even but bc of everyone else (as was the plan surely)

Case File Spam Stuff
Thinking of this goofy au and made up some concrete aspects for it. Just stuff about differences from canon and how I think Cyber police and criminal things work:
Due to how identical Addisons are, missing persons for them are not always looked into as it can be impossible to tell them apart at times
Of course this is fucked up but Addisons can’t do much about it as salesmen so they suck it up but Spamton immediately messed up this practice by being the white addison
Law enforcement tries to ignore it cause “oh another addison” until they realized it was the big shot and the only white addison. This of course caused outrage when folks realized other disappearances weren’t looked into for the aforementioned reasons
He has been missing for 20 years but in universe people only believed it was 18 cause it took two years for the police to look into after he was MIA
Addisons as a whole have a different self run police thing kinda like private investigation but some ads do work as official enforcement
Spamton doesn’t have a set shop like in canon but makes pop ups. This is mainly cause he is being looked for by people who both care about him and want him dead
The dark web exists and is kinda just the black market and a part of the cyber world where crime is just a constant
Lots of folks from there want to capitalize off of being the infamous person who got the big shot or wanna know how he pulled it off and leave no traces after
Spamton mainly avoids being found cause he’s more scared of the dark web guys than eager for the comfort of his old friends… also the whole “ascension” deal
He does however capitalize by leaving little notes that only he’d write. He kinda leaves opposite notes to the caller/messenger as his actually explain things and paint a picture of what really went down.
Collectors and fanatic try to piece them together but only people who know his glitch can really get what he’s saying (hint hint)
Queen, Swatch and the Swatchlings also look for him but more in a guilty “they feel bad for him possibly being dead or worse” way. They don’t work with the law cause Queen wants to keep the mansion’s involvement unknown
At some point Spam does get actually kidnapped and the Addisons realize this (this leads into the endings/continuation I just don’t know how)
Jevil is somehow involved in this au just give me time to work out how
I imagine the cyber police system is super corrupt due to how rules and policing in the internet can be very varied and confusing (police is just cyber world TOS is my mind). Jurisdiction is all over the place and as such they don’t deal with things they don’t have to and if they can sweep it under the rug that’s where it’s going. I also believe most Addisons have a whatever relationship with the dark web as some no doubt get their products from there and most if not all are scam artists of some kind. Spam simply as the misfortune of being the product most cyber darkeners want (both before and after everything with the phone).
I’ll make another post going into the potential endings later but this is set up stuff important for all of them.

Had another weird-ass dream a few whiles ago that I made art of cause fuck you
DATE: JUNE 1/2, 2023
It was another “me younger in school” dream, but it took place a lot earlier in my life than other school dreams. Usually that genre of dream takes place either in high school or 6th grade middle school, but this one seemed to be way back in either 2nd or 3rd grade (it was 2008 apparently, the latter half of my elementary school days). Despite this dream taking place a literal DECADE before Deltarune was even a concept in the public eye, my Spamton and Jevil plushies were there with me as sorta “emotional support” buddies of sort. (To be fair though, I was holding them when I fell asleep, which is the standard method for my “sentient” plushies to enter the dream realm with me)
I remember that the teacher in this dream-version of my school was a different one from the actual teacher I had in that year of school irl, both in appearance and the fact that she was MUCH meaner than any teacher I’ve ever had. (Like, even my 1st grade teacher would think she’s insane, and she’s why I’m suicidal now) This dream teacher was always insistent on targeting me exclusively, always finding excuses to yell at or punish me despite being perfectly normal with the other students. Didn’t help that in this particular version of my school, kids that “got in trouble” a lot were forced to stay in the basement of the school overnight, said basement contained a literal Cerberus-like hellhound that would stalk/hunt down the students all night and basically maul them if they got caught.
So yeah, as you can imagine, having that kinda toxicity in my life was awful for my mental health. Young me, of course, was too anxiety to speak up about it at all, so I ended up turning to the only “people” who I knew for certain would have my back.
My fucking sentient Deltarune plushies.
Specifically my Jevil plushie, who came with a rather odd (and probably illegal now that I think about it) solution to all this. Turns out, the little guy was actually a master programmer (I guess that makes sense, I mean, he CAN do anything after all if he’s to be believed) and made this weird… Microchip? Thingy? That he would basically sneak into my teacher’s ear while she was distracted. Said chip was supposed to kinda-sorta feed her subliminal messages of sorts that would make her like me more and thus stop borderline abusing me.
Seems simple enough, right? Well…
It ended up working fine in my favor, the teacher ended up not being mean to me anymore, even eventually considering me her “favorite”.
But after a few weeks of chill, then came some…
Admittedly predictable…
…Side effects…
My thought’s exactly, little me.
So, yeah, I accidentally ended up causing my teacher to start slowly transforming into Jevil. Fuck me.
And what makes it worse (at least lore-wise) is that she has appeared in later dreams that took place in the present day, having become a full demon because of that stupid chip, implying I (or at least that particular version of me) never was able to stop the tfmc going on and turn her back to normal.
But yeah, that’s all I gotta say for this one. Can’t believe I procrastinated on this one for so long lmao

Hm actually look away I'm gonna go insane but. Okay so someone in the notes of that seam post mentioned Lantern has bits from. Hang on lemme just pull up the tags
Okay they said this and there's something that has been On my brain for a while and it's the fact that Ralsei seems very strongly focused on not letting Susie know that this world, the dark world, is like... Made out of inanimate objects in the light world, for whatever reason? Which is weird because he doesn't have issue with Kris knowing that. Now put that, Susie not knowing how the dark worlds truly work, in contrast with Spamton and Jevil, two silly little guys who thru Someone found out Something they shouldn't and their perception of the world as completely fucked up. Hell, this even applies to Seam too if you want to make that full circle.
And like. There's 0 things to go off on with this atm, but I feel like in a few chapters future maybe... Something will start to show here. A clearer picture.

okay let me put these silly thoughts somewhere:
If you aren’t familiar with The Elder Scrolls (TES) videogame series, there are these beings called daedric princes and there are 17 of them.
They’re basically gods.
And I’ve decided to let myself have some fun and assign Deltarune character to each one. Some dr character have multiple but that's because I can't think of anyone else for some of them lol:
1. Azura - Noelle
One of the “nicer” daedra.
2. Boethia - King
This daedra is basically the deceitful one, Wanna overthrow/kill someone for some type of gain? Boethia.
3. Clavicus Vile - Spamton
Daedra of makin’ deals.

GOD OKAY
Jevil: Met during their early days in the Gaster Squad, caught feelings for each other (the feeling was "friendship" but neither one had ever experienced it) started a toxic and horrible relationship that consisted of cheating at games, bickering incessantly, and getting on each other's nerves. Ended because Jevil drew a mustache on Spamton's face while he was sleeping IN PERMANENT MARKER! BEFORE HE HAD TO FILM A COMMERCIAL!
Queen: Okay so she was COMPLETELY just using him to make her shitty ex (King) jealous as in sending him photos like "Hey Look At My New Boyfriend He Has A Car Lol" but on the flip side he was using her for her Wealth and Connections so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Manipulative Power Couple of the Week cause they didn't last any longer than that
Gaster: Kinda one-sided cause Gaster pretty much was like "he is a Science Project :) " so it was 90% Spamton kicking his legs waiting by the phone for his Bestie to call. And then he realized said Bestie was actually trying to turn him into a living puppet and use him against his will so obviously THAT ended. He never really recovered from this one tbh
Jevil again: Got back together, swore they'd never part again and were each other's soul mates true loves etc. Divorced 3 days later
Mike: ??? Not sure if this one ended because of any kind of mutual disagreement actually! Fascinated to learn more about this (unless we get trolled and don't lmao)
Swatch: Got kinda Into It with Swatch during the late stage of his Big Shot era when he couldn't sleep and would be up all night in the cafe drinking and well, needless to say he and Swatch forged a relationship based completely on the fact that they're a pair of Needy Fucking Assholes with no emotional awareness or honesty. Obviously this didn't go well. Swatch's complete inability to stop being a People Pleaser caused him to never ONCE let on that he was 1. Disturbed by Spamton's continuing downfall and 2. Honestly not Feeling It as much as Spamton clearly was so! He thought Spamton's eviction would be an easy out without having to go through any confrontation but Spamton took it as a betrayal!
Jevil AGAIN: Except this one wasn't really so much them getting back together as much as "going on a toxic drunken crime spree with your ex because your lives are spiraling downwards and you want to make every bad decision known to man" they were both at rock bottom at this point. Dozens were killed. Jevil went to prison a week later for unrelated charges, if you can believe it
