Ode to a Good Witch (A Poetic retelling of The Owl House from the perspective of Luz Noceda)

One day I had stumbled on a cabin in the woods, And there among the rotting boards, there was a door that stood. I opened it and walked inside, and there I could just tell, That the door was a portal into the deepest bowels of Hell. I met a lot of demons, my fears were all around, But then I met some people, a family I had found. One was the mightiest criminal all across the land, Another was a tiny king who made my life less bland. Soon I met some friends, they were strong but were outcasts, A plant witch and an illusionist who were constantly harassed. We had a few adventures, we had a lot of fun, and we soon forged a bond that could never be undone. Eventually I met a girl, the love of my whole life, We didn’t get along at first, but she would become my wife. We all fought with the Emperor, and saved his Golden Guard, We also helped my adopted mom reconnect with her favorite bard. But then came the Day of Unity, the fight for all our lives, And my friends and I stumbled on a bunch of twisted hives. We were then thrown back through the door, I lost my mom and bro, I cried for days and my friends realized my heartbreak began to grow. Then my real mom and my friends helped me get back through the door, But we had no idea the warped nightmares that we all had in store. Eventually I had found my adopted mom and brother, And together with a star child, we had stood against another. I died in battle against a monster, I crumbled into sod, And then I met up with an ancient and dead god. He gave me all his powers and brought me back to life. I had to go back and fight the monster and end that stupid lowlife. And then it was over, we won, the emperor was truly dead, burned away in boiling rain and stomped right through the head. After that, we lived in peace, and I was understood, And now I had two families and all the love I could. I am the Good Witch Luz, the hero of two realms, But now I just want to cuddle with Ams, because I am so very overwhelmed.

Still crying over The Owl House finale. Beautifully done.

Still won’t ever forgive Disney for cancelling this masterpiece but at least we got a few seasons anyway.

Absolutely in love with the design of titan form Luz so I drew her. I can’t believe it, watching and dreaming was so amazing, I cried through almost every part and I just want everyone to know that this series has helped me in so many ways.

I was the weird kid at school, I never fit in with any of the “regular” people and I had a hard time with that. But I found friends in high school just as weird and amazing as me and I wish this show had come out when I was still the weird kid in middle school so I could know I wasn’t alone. I’d like to add that queer representation is such a big part of the show and it is super ultra mega important for kids to see all kinds of representation, just like in this beautiful show. I love Lilith especially because I relate to to Lilith to her being aroace and not feeling romantic attraction to anyone. She’s just like me and doesn’t make me feel alone.

Anyways, thank you Dana, for creating such a masterpiece that deserves so much more love and appreciation. I hope future kids will find themselves watching this show just like I found myself.

The Owl House Says Bye for Now!

Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against them, @Danaterrace and her team managed to wrap up #TheOwlHouse in a way that leaves everyone happy in one of the most emotional finales I've ever seen in my life. 5/5. #ThankYouOwlHouse #TOHSpoilers #Luz
