all!! please talk about your ocs!!!!

:OOOO I WOULD GIVE MY LIFE FOR YOU.... (for real thank you I’m super out of it rn, assignments have me fucked up) this is goin under a read more because I am going to go OFF

who’s friends with who? what are the squad dynamics like?

okay so with my ocs let’s start with C9 in general! the entire session has a sort of tense vibe with everyone together but it’s the type where they all know if they need to they can rely on each other. it’s just the situation making them all volatile.

for squads Aila has her moirail squad with two of my pal’s ocs, Lyla and Kodi, and it’s just all comfort there. Lyla and Kodi make sure that Aila doesn’t go off and fume by herself when she’s pissed off, Kodi and Aila make sure Lyla’s not just staying in the depression hive that is her room, and Lyla and Aila make sure Kodi doesn’t hide away and sew for hours when he gets upset. it’s mostly a “get the fuck over here and socialize instead of dwelling on every bad thought” crew but sometimes it’s just about sitting in the same room as someone else. and sending memes to each other. she also considers Dukkel a friend, but that vibe is more of a “Dukkel is manipulative and Aila is too volatile to be effectively manipulated” sorta deal. they hang out though and genuinely enjoy each other’s company so I’m counting it. she’s also pals with Joel (not mine)- she does think she has a crush on him? but she’s always real unsure of these things. either way she likes being around him and he likes being around her. that vibe is “awkward but in a cute dorky way”. also friends with Hurlii (also not mine) but they’re... dating?? hate-dating??? they both refuse to pin that down but they sit under the stars and vent a little bit to each other and get out their emotions and it’s cute. I’ve written about them cuddling before it’s adorable. her and Louise swap memes sometimes so y’know what that’s a friendship too. and she talks to a group of horrorterrors who gossip about her sessionmates with her. Aila has a lot of connections because she’s the Session Leader and also she’s tiny so everyone goes “:O a baby....”. sort of the same way you let your little sibling hang out with you and your pals because they get so excited about it.

Hope is friends with a DIFFERENT pal’s oc, Kori. their vibe is also comfort and chillin. Kori reassures Hope that no, not being able to talk to people is not bad and people don’t hate you. Hope listens when Kori talks about timeline stuff and helps her take precautions to soothe her anxiety. they’re also the alchemiter squad figuring out how to make new objects all the time. they stick real close. Hope’s also pals with Kodi! Kodi actually mediates between her and Aila. Hope can cut loose a little around Kodi and ends up with a surprisingly carefree attitude around him. things are a LITTLE awkward between them but they’re buds. Kodi keeps her in check. (Hope’s also friends with Lyla, kind of? they’re hate-dating but they are so soft for each other.) she used to go play poker with some SBURB constructs but :( no more.

Fantra is moirails with Panda (just assume if they don’t end up with their own list they’re a pal’s oc okay) and they vibe. there’s a little more flirting than necessary in their friendship and they DEFINITELY cuddle. they’re actually really adorable. again, I don’t know if dating counts, but Fantra’s dating Lyla and they’re cute but still sort of figuring things out. Fantra gives Lyla all the attention she asks for and it’s adorable.

Dukkel is sort of friends with Aila but I already talked about that. she doesn’t have a lot of friends other than Ails, actually. it’s. kind of sad? but he doesn’t really go out of his way to befriend people. she has more connections, just not... positive ones.

NOT ALL OF THE ALPHAS ARE FLESHED OUT SO I SWEAR THEY HAVE MORE CONNECTIONS BUT

Mell is pals with Dott and they’re fucking chaotic. I adore them but oh jeez. Mell’s the Responsible One and she’s not responsible at all she just used to pick Dott up from parties and then hold her hostage to help redesign furbies. they’re great. actually, the entire alpha session is great because they’re all in a D&D group. Mell sometimes chats with Cole and thinks he’s alright but also a huge NERD and jokingly makes fun of him for it. Cole doesn’t mind because he is, in fact, a massive nerd. (also Mell ends up dating Lyla it’s a whole thing don’t worry about it they’re adorable)

outside of her session she’s friends with Orca in a sort of “hey this kid needs more friends. now they’re the designated little sibling of the squad” way. she teaches them cool new horrific crafts. Mell just can’t let them sit there when their two friends are busy smh come join in craft time and also here’s how to play D&D. it’s real nice!

Cole is dating Peri! they co-DM in oneshots and he fleshes out NPCs while she worldbuilds and it’s adorable. they’re soft and sweet and cuties. also chats with Mell as I said before!

ALTS: the session as a whole is messy. everything runs fine but it’s less a team and more a bunch of people forced to work together. they’re pretty good at doing things they don’t want to do, though, so gg.

Enny’s friends with Juli. Juli calls her out on her bullshit and Enny holds Juli accountable for her own messes. they’re more functional than they look. Enny is also friends with Kods (not Kodi. alt Kodi.) and they consider themselves siblings even if the specifics are a lil wild. they threaten each other but they don’t usually mean it. they care about each other. also they shared a creepypasta phase that tbh Enny never got over. she’s also kind of pals with Jess but in a “thank you for helping me keep these guys in check. in return I will not swear at you” kinda way and just. mutual understanding of being stubborn when it comes to working at things.

outside of just the alt C9 crew (and delving into SPACE PIRATE TERRITORY): Enny’s also pals with Cece (yet another pal’s OC! the only pal mentioned that technically doesn’t work on the Official C9 Stuff but whatever I love him so much. all of the ones mentioned “outside their session″ are his <3!!!!) even though they stopped hanging out as much. Cece taught her how to paint and have a decent hobby and Enny appreciates it every day. their friendship is dear to my heart. makes me feel nice. Enny is friends with Tate too! they roomed together on the spaceship and even though they aren’t too talkative with each other sometimes that isn’t necessary. also kinda pals with Jody? they don’t hang out too much but Enny secretly thinks she’s a friend. they’re the short Light player squad. too curious for their own good. it got kinda hard for them to talk to each other in person because of an incident but Enny still thinks she’s cool and nice. and there’s Echo! Echo’s her friend and therapist who taught her how to talk about her feeeeelings. which is VERY important. everyone say thank you Echo. Enny enjoys his company and y’know it’s sometimes (SOMETIMES) nice to be totally open. hard but nice. well. it’s complicated. but thank you Echo. .....ENNY IS ALSO PALS WITH [REDACTED]. in “canon” right now they’re “rivals to acquaintances” but they have pet names for each other so what is the truth. they’re very cryptic and trade information but that means Enny’s actually very honest with him so they’re. adorable. they care a lot about each other and try to help each other when they need it. it’s so cute. I’m soft for them. they’ve always had a certain level of respect for each other and I VIBE WITH THAT. love me some respect and comfort in this house. also they totally cuddle.

Deuuuux is friends with Juli. Juli may be blunt and harsh in her humor but Deux vibes with it. she knows she’s just being snarky for the sake of being snarky. they hang out and it’s all very cool and fun. also pals with Kods, but that’s a LITTLE more strained. they still hang from time to time but it’s hard for Deux to tell when he needs his space. also hate-dating Jess but no, actually, they end up being like “wait this is stupid I don’t think I actually hate anything about you. which makes this just dating. ...heck yeah.” Jess keeps tabs on Deux’s volatile mental state and Deux makes sure SHE’S doing okay. like hey take a break. you deserve good things too.

outside of the alt C9 crew Deux is close with Wynn! they have a more sibling bond than anything else. found family. added onto this because Deux actually has a real squad, holy shit, is Echo! Deux is the Official Captain, Wynn made the spaceship they’re on, and Echo is the ship advisor. Deux goes to them when she wants a second opinion on things, which is a lot of the time. Echo is constantly side-eyeing Deux’s depression. it’s hilarious and I love them A LOT. SO MUCH. Deux and Wynn are also the ship chefs, though Wynn more so than Deux. I choose to believe they work on recipes together but that’s just me. Deux is also friends with [REDACTED 2], even if it was shaky at first. they bond over their annoyance at [REDACTED]- and they both get the feeling of being overworked and then looking over at other people goofing off. like damn, a little help here please? they’re so tired. Deux is so tired. someone give her a break.

West! is not C9, technically, but they’re still mine so :P. West is best friends with Fern and they game together. they like to try and fuck up games with West posing hypothetical glitches and Fern pulling them off. also they just hang out and it’s all fun times with them. West is also kinda pals with Alex- sometimes they hang and Alex gave West his old glasses for them to pop out the lenses and wear so that was cool of him. they just vibe and Alex thinks it’s nice that West appreciates their humor.

outside of their session they’re friends with Ulfort and Hazel! they’re a squad. Ulfort is the Responsible One, Hazel is the Bad Influence, and West is the Impressionable Chaos Enabler. I love them all. they goof and have a good time but also worry about each other and that’s real sweet. also Enny and [REDACTED] but in a parental figure sort of way so I’m only including it here and not in Enny’s- also because it’s only in certain aus. also only in certain aus is their friendship with Orca. they bond over similar excitable traits and they started out a little rocky but they’re friends!

Hazeee is also best buds with Fern! sure Haze is crushing on Fern but that doesn’t mean they aren’t pals. they support each other emotionally and also they’re totally both furries. like Fern COULD show her fursona to West and they’d support her but it’s not their interest so they don’t really know how they’re supposed to react so Fern and Haze get the fun of a mutual interest. Haze is also pals with June- xe’s Haze’s right-hand. June helps advise Haze and proposes new ideas and also teases Haze for crushing on Fern. it’s all in good fun though.

Fern is just pals with West and Haze and they’re both her best friends. no she will not rank them. she shouldn’t have to.

outside of her session sheeee’s totally in love with Ulfort and Rita. interacting with Ulfort she’s likes to try and make him flustered a lil bit. with Rita she’s much more shy about it. it’s so cute. she thinks they’re both very very pretty. this is still only in certain aus because otherwise they don’t interact... ...unless? hmu my boyyyyy show me the canon we could have had/can have [eyes emoji]

June is best friends with Alex. they thrive off their differences but June enjoys getting to just have FUN with Alex and Alex loves having support from June. they hang ALL THE TIME. they support each other and tease each other and make sure they know where the lines are. June’s also pals with Haze as mentioned above!

outside of xir sesh June’s pals/something else ;) with Orca. but like. only in certain aus. they’re. how do I describe this without getting into the aus. uh. they’re cute as hell okay? Orca spoils June and June lightly teases Orca and they’re adorable. they care about each other so so much.

Alex is besties with June and pals with West. yes he plays favorites :P.

Theo and Fate are best friends and found-family twins and they’re chaotic as a duo. Fate describes emotions to Theo and Theo describes colors to Fate and that’s adorable but Fate’s encouraging Theo to make horrorterror deals and Theo’s like what if I abused my god tier powers instead and it’s CHAOS. I love them so much. no one else they’re all they’ve got babey!

Luca is dating Elli and Julius (who are also dating) and they’re a squad all on their own. Elli and Julius are weebs and Luca makes fun of them for it but he’s the one dating them so rip. Luca loves them both so much but him and Elli have more of a “childhood friends” vibe (because they are) and Luca and Julius have a “flirt vs one very pretty boy” vibe (because that’s exactly what’s going on these aren’t vibes these are just what’s happening). they’re all ADORABLE. none of them have any other friends but specifically Luca doesn’t because he’s mine and he’s lonely. rip.

Orca is pals with/dating June as mentioned above! and pals with West! and friends with Mell!

I’m not gonna get too into the SBURB 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO squad because the friendships aren’t entirely fleshed out but Pistol and Spike are friends and Spike’s totally crushing on Pistol and it’s cute. they’re cute. I rest my case.

its officially my, let's see, 8th month of being part of the newsies fandom and i have shit to say and am really emotional right now

ahh read on for my emotions and feelings and basically crying over how much i love you heathens (all 400 of you + some call outs for certain people)

im just mhhh wow you people are amazing i have never felt this welcome anywhere before and i realized its almost been a year and like no one has like attacked me for my headcanons or anything and its just overall so positive here!

Happy 32nd Birthday Nobuhiko Okamoto!

Personal Note:

I’ve been preparing for a while because I wanted to make this with a lot more thought. Sorry for the length of this post. I spent quite a bit of time on it, but I didn’t realize it would get so long! He is one of my top favourite voice actors (both English and Japanese) ever. To me, he’s a relatable, awesome, and passionate inspiration. He puts his all into every role he does, and he never gives up no matter who tells him to.

I could probably go on about how much I like many of the roles he’s done, but that would be a whole other essay in itself. I even considered watching Corpse Party (the scaredy cat I am) because I heard he was in it. Yeah, I’m one of those people who gets drawn to anime when I figure out certain studios and voice actors are attached to it. I have watched a few episodes of some really bad anime because I heard he was in it. No regrets! Okay, maybe I have a few... I still haven’t watched them all though! I plan on watching a ton more, and that includes a few bad apples here and there.

Despite all the hurdles and adversity he faces, he overcomes it! He has had so many amazing roles, he sings, he’s good at shogi, and he’s just a good person. I respect him a lot. Honestly, I can’t word stuff too well, but I sincerely hope he continues working, maybe gets married and has kids (since he said he wanted to), and experiences all the happiness he deserves.

I hope to see them acting together eventually (even if Mikorin and Seo never really communicated). Thanks to Nobu, we have a voice to this madly embarassed bishounen. Katsuki “Kacchan” Bakugou - Boku no Hero Academia

[Bakugou might not always be my cup of tea as a character, but his voice made me like him somewhat anyway whether he’s an asshole or not. There are a few scenes in season three that hit me with mad feels,, but even during season one and two, Nobu aced this role. This role is what shot him up to one of my favourite voice actors. Karma Akabane - Assassination Classroom

[While Bakugou is one type of crazy, Karma is another. Honestly, he’s such a sly, cunning, and mischievous character, but that’s what we all like about him, right?]

This is my first time transcribing a song and arranging it! I improvised and made up some stuff (mostly guitar solos that just didn’t fit as well logically on piano). I usually don’t like (actually, I kinda hate) transcribing because it’s basically like trying to copy down a book that someone reads aloud (and you can’t look at the text). But it was worth doing this! He’s definitely not my favourite singer, but I’d still listen to him.

I didn't want to go with an original score for this one because I felt like I wanted to improve a lot more as a composer and artist (as if I'm qualified enough to be called those terms). When I make one for him, I want to go all out.

1. Do you bite or lick ice cream? - Lick

2. What is home to you? - Cozy, safe, a place I always miss when I'm gone

3. What was the last lie you told? - My work asked me if I wanted to pick up a shift on a specific day and I said I had plans oops

4. Does everyone deserve the truth? - I think it depends on the situation. Generally, yes, but I think that sometimes we lie to people or don't tell an entire truth because we don't want to hurt someone or make something worse or hard on someone; we protect them. So I feel like if the truth is going to hurt them worse or not do any good, keep it to yourself. You don't have to lie outrageously, plus I think these kinds of lies aren't really "bad". They're coming from a place of love sometimes and quite literally wanting to shelter someone.

5. What is the creepiest toy ever made? - Furbies!!!!

6. Describe a moment in which you did something unacceptable in a bad situation. - I don't know if I'd call it "unacceptable" or a "bad situation" lol but one time my manager was really getting on my nerves and I rolled my eyes at her. We had a talk later, but yeah, that's really it. I'm not too crazy with the things I do lol. The most you get from me is a bit of an attitude (but only if I'm at my wits end!)

7. List two things that are more easily done than said. (No, I didn't mix them up.) - tbh I can't think of two but the first one that came to mind for me is showing someone you love them (taking care of them, spontaneously buying them something, giving them the last slice of pizza, listening to them chatter excitedly about something their passionate about, etc) because I think it's easier to subtly show little acts of love than to full on say "I love you/I'm in love with you" (especially if we fear rejection).

8. When was the last time you worked really hard to achieve something? - This week actually. I started a creating writing course and it's really motivated me to get my writing done so I completed an assignment as well as I have been vigorously stripping back my story idea and figuring out the main beats. It's the most productive writing-wise I've been in a while I think.

9. How many all nighters have you pulled? - Not too many. My all-nighters haven't been deliberate since a middle school sleepover, they generally happen now if I'm reading a book I can't put down lol

10. If humans didn't evolve to laugh or smile, how would we express our happiness instead? - Gestures, body language or words most likely.

11. How many romantic "things" or "flings" have you had? - Zero (wah wah wah wahhhh sad trombone)

12. What is your paradise? - I have a few!! I think there's a few lol. I'll give you one. My paradise would probably be a cozy december night, christmas only a few days away, I'm writing something I'm super into while sipping a cup of hot chocolate and I'm wearing a beautiful sweater and red lipstick. Anything cozy is my paradise really. (also in this dreamy-paradise I'm making (good) money off of my own writing so I don't have to work a minimum wage job anymore)

13. What is your favorite background noise? (Ex. Water dripping, people talking.) - I love the sound of rain hitting the car or going down a rain gutter. I also love the sound of birds chirping.

What does this say about you? - I think it's good that we have something small and convenient like cellphones to get a hold of people or to call for help if we ever need it. Like I can't imagine being in the past when something serious was happening and they didn't have anyone to call for help.

Do you care about celebrities? - I think people like the escape that celebrities bring, whether it's to live vicariously through them or to make fun of them lol. The only celebrity I really care about is Taylor Swift. I don't really know much else about any other celebrity.

17. What is the most annoying thing someone can do to you? - Embarrass me or make me feel stupid or undervalued.

18. Do you overexaggerate? What are the pros and cons of this? - I do sometimes, but not excessively. I do more so as a kid. Pro: it makes stories better. Con: you're kinda lying lol

19. Have you played any instruments before? Which instruments? - I tried to learn the guitar but it didn't work out lmao

20. Do you like taking selfies? Why or why not? - I used to. I'm not totally opposed to selfies, but I find that pictures of any kind make me feel worse about myself so I just quit doing it. If my makeup is really nice that day I'll take one and it'll be fine, but generally I just don't like to.

21. List 3 things you like about yourself? - My attention to detail - My deep seated kindness - I'm strong-willed so my beliefs and values never move

22. What is the best advice someone has ever given you? - Taylor Swift baby. "You are not the opinion of someone who doesn't know you or care about you" but I still have yet to let it sink in truly bc I still care oops. Also, writing advice: "Show, Don't Tell" this advice can literally save a writers life.

23. Do you have what it takes to raise a child? Why or why not? - I think I could raise a child, but I don't think I'm ready to. a) I don't have a person to raise a kid with me, b) I think I still have a lot of growing up to do and that's very important when it comes to having a kid.

24. How do you cheer yourself up after a bad day? - i cry, binge, feel sorry for myself, play some TS, and repeat.

25. When was the last time you felt awkward? - I feel awkward about everything. I felt super awkward at the grocery store yesterday bc there were these teenagers at the store in this huge pack and I had to try to get by them but they kept getting in my way and I felt so awks but also annoyed and angry bc I was trying to get stuff done.

26. Are you introverted or extroverted? Or a mixture of both? - Introverted

27. What constitutes a good friend? - Someone who is loyal, a good-listened, has your back, and defends you to the bone. Something that's always bothered me in friendships I've had is not feeling like my friend was on my side. For example, my sister's best friend always makes me laugh because when my sister is wronged by someone, her friend will immediately take her side and defend her to the ends of the earth. I've always hated if someone hurt me that my friend would remain friends with someone who hurt me or was mean to me. (I know as adults it can be a little different and I think it depends on the circumstance, but I just really value that loyalty of having a friend who would just go to the ends of the earth for you).

28. Would you rather have a lot of friends to hang out with or just one best friend? - One best friend.

29. In a regular day, what do you not want to hear? - my managers talking to me

30. What is your dream job? - Best-selling/successful author

31. Is it better to be lazy but smart or hardworking but unintelligent? -Hardworking but intelligent. Being hardworking I think says more to your character. Intelligence isn't the only interesting thing about you and it only takes you so far.

What is a truth about yourself that others find hard to believe? - I think probably that I struggle with my self worth because I preach a lot on self love and I'm definitely not a person to settle for less, but I really struggle to love myself or to feel worthy of love. Or that I'm not confident like people think, because I've always gotten that as a compliment, that I'm confident but I never ever feel confident and always feel like I'm less than.

33. What have you always wondered about the other gender? - why

34. Which fantasy world would you like to visit the most? - Not gonna lie, the Court of Thorns and Roses universe so I could see what Velaris looks like. Or Narnia!

Describe the worst friend you have ever befriended. - I had a friend in the fifth grade who was obsessed with beauty and being thin so she used to tell me I was fat all the time and when I would go to her house to "hang out" she would make me weigh myself and exercise. Probably the reason I have a low key eating disorder.

I think I'm a good friend because I'm deeply loyal and I love deeply. But I think I can be a better listener, less controlling (especially when it comes to things I think they should do vs what they actually do), and I'm really bad at making plans with people.

89. Are you a pessimist or an optimist? - A little of both. I think I can be really fatalistic when I'm not doing well, but when I'm in a healthy state I'm fairly optimistic.

oh wow. This game really took a turn for the worst huh. Nicholas left, Dani exploded, one world and a swap happened, tea was spilled, my closest ally was removed from the game, and Athena is ending after this season. I would like it to be known that I had absolutely no idea Amanda was so problematic and would not have gotten so close to her had I known! I'm taking this whole night kinda hard because it's like a punch in the face for me, not only because it hinders my game but also because it's so sad that I had gotten so close to Amanda these past few days and it's honestly super tragic what happened. I literally had no idea she was problematic and I had grown to care for her. I'm def just gonna take the night off and try to gather my bearings before I try to focus on the game or anyone else in it for now. Today has been insanely exhausting. Tomorrow is a new day and I fully intend to play just as hard (if not harder) as I was before, but I'm probably gonna have to start back at square 1. Wish me luck!!

So, tribal went exactly as I planned, and the swap happened... just as planned. However, Amanda wasn't something I had planned or even considered happening. Like, it's crazy when you think you know somebody, but then it turns out they are actually a 180 of what you think they are... Naturally this throws the Night Owls into serious haywire, and honestly, it might as well be a new game only with less allies at this point.

Well, Dani as it turns out is the Abi-Maria type, you know "fuck with me, you're dead." Good news is that I'm on a different tribe. Bad news is that I went in that tribal with 6 people willing to work with me, and walked out with 2.

As time goes on, I'm slowly feeling a bit better about my tribe, but we'll see how I'm feeling when/if we go to tribal. Bodhi surprisingly seems less upset than Dani, almost makes me glad I got him instead of Dani. (Though having Colin and Timmy would have been ideal for me.)

Hi hosts I haven't made a confessional yet. honestly last night was wild like. i was drinking because i'm on vacaytion and that's what you do and like i started drinking like RIGHT when ryan sent the letter so i knew this was gonna be an interesting night so i kept on doing it and i was definitely gone. so yeah my tribes cool i like dani a lot. hopefully her drama will keep us alive. i don't know who's from what tribe but i do know anna and i are the only ones from talio on a tribe of 8 so that's really cute!

Okay so... last night was a hot mess. We tribe swap but then get put on One World with a scary pairs challenge, but then everyone fights Amanda Lynn for blindsiding Nicholas, THEN she gets exposed and quits the game. Omg Dani’s mind... So now I’m on a new tribe so let’s assess them! Super happy Andrew is with me. My closest ally from the old tribe that I can trust. Nathan and Nicole are here too, but they seem like a tighter duo with each other than us. I just hope they don’t do any shady business. Super happy to be reunited with Bodhi, we were a duo in B.B. pokémon but it might be known with Julia on this tribe. Speaking of Julia, don’t think we’re on good terms. She doesn’t like me so I’m not gonna bother messaging her. I played furby with Colin, we didn’t talk much there though. He tells me he lead the blindside against Nicholas and Kori was with him too so they’re probably working together. And then there’s Isaac, don’t have an opinion of him. So theres some annoying beef going on between Timmy and Dani and I mean I might as well be annoying and call them out about it in the tribe chat. It's the last season of Athena we gotta spice shit up.

So much is happening, I wanted Dani out, Dani wanted me out, Mo was trying to instigate stuff in the tribe chat. Once the challenge results were posted Ryan was messaging me saying that we should keep the 4 of us who were in the challenge safe because we need strong competitors and I agreed. Then after that I heard from Anna that Dani was saying my name, which is fucked up because she (Dani) had just said last night that she wants to put the past behind us. But honestly, and this is going to sound really stupid, after the Mo thing in the tribe chat, I'd much rather have him gone. The way to do that is to work with Dani and just let everything out into the open. Especially since Mo said, both in PMs and in the tribe chat, that he is trying a more assertive and bold strategy. Don't reveal your strategy, that's stupid. So Dani and I have been talking and we want Mo out because that seems like the best idea right now because he is trying to personify that there is an issue between us. I can get Anna on board and she seems like she would agree to it based on a small talk about it and Dani said she got John. But also John hasn't responded to my last message so....that's something. Trusting Dani could be what gets me out of this game and I really could be booboo the fool, but sometimes risks need to be taken. I'm just hoping that I can convince Ryan that this is the smarter plan, or maybe he can talk some sense into me and then Dani goes. Either way I don't want to be the one leaving tomorrow and I'm going to try everything to make sure that that does not happen. But right now it is 1am and I can get nothing accomplished this late, so that will have to wait until tomorrow where hopefully I don't wake up to a tribe chat on fire.

Ofc I was 2 minutes slower but hear me out. Apparently in the jeopardy challenge he had bad internet or something and flopped and let everyone down. So thats kinda 2 in a row. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a super nice guy and I get why everyone loves him BUT him and I's convo's seem to run dry. Compared to people like Blake or Ryan who I want to talk to all the time, I don't see myself working with him closely in the future. So we will see. Looks like its gonna be one of those three!

it's me again. SO last night mo was like stirring the pot or something and tried having like an intervention with dani and timmy. or like, relationship therapy i guess. BUT it seems like little mo's fun backfired because mr timmy came to me this morning and it appears he and dani have kissed and made up and now they want little mo out. gay gagging! anna's on board i think. and it doesn't seem like vindicta is united. i know john said he didn't really connect with everyone so that's good. and timmys gonna pull in RTP so we can vote out mo. so that's fun!

The numbers to get Mo out seem to be there so I am thrilled! We don't need someone who is going to try to cause drama just so they can then hide in the shadows. The difficult part comes next and that is telling Ryan that Mo is the target, but I am hoping that will go well because the numbers are already there, and I'll phrase it in a way that is me asking him rather than saying it is already happening...even though it is.

Kori is literally.... like... insane. Every single time I'm on a call with him and one other person he offers a 'voice chat' alliance to f3. We've had one with Timmy since night 1, made one with Nathan yesterday, and he also offered one to Isaac. It's literally too much I'm screaming. Straights are WILD.

Holy cow that’s a lot of stuff about Fresh.

So, I see you know that Fresh exists. A lot of people have a lot of ideas about Fresh, and while some are delightful, some just don’t make any sense. I’m here to unofficially address some of the things I see about his character that I wish I didn't, so buckle up folks, this is gonna be a long post.

PLEASE NOTE that I am NOT CQ. Never have been, never will be(?), and despite my best efforts I don't know everything about Fresh. To be honest, there are aspects that I'll headcanon the heck out of, especially in regards to his magic and how possession works and what have you, but I try to make sure it makes sense with what I DO know- some of it's probably wrong. I accept that. BUT YA BETTER BELIEVE THAT I'VE DONE MY RESEARCH ON WHATEVER'S AVAILABLE.

Alright, so, first things first that I see a lot.

"Fresh Sans i-"

Wrong, already you're off. If you try to sell UnderFresh/FreshTale to me as canon, I will unfortunately dunk you faster than Sans when you spare him. Let me make this very clear: A TRUE FRESHTALE DOES NOT EXIST.

Now, don't get me wrong- FreshTale can exist if you want! If you want a Universe of 90's hip-hop style, lingo and bad choices then go for it. This Is Not Fresh. There is no Fresh Sans- that's Sans Undertale, who happens to be Fresh's current host. Fresh has fortunately claimed a different, taller (not Papyrus) skeleton in the world of Lucidia, So not even his host is Sans anymore. If you're talking about the canon Fresh, do not say Fresh Sans/Undyne/anyone else from Undertale. Just say Fresh! Or maybe Fresh in a X host. That works too.

Keep in mind, Fresh has no universe, not really. He doesn’t come from anywhere, he exists outside of that kind of logic. It’s just him- and, well, another one that we the people made. A better version. That’s some complicated deep stuff though and trying to get into all of THAT takes a lot more background. Suffice to say, Fresh is the only Fresh, and while he can produce more parasites Asexually, he’s the only him.

“Ok, fine. Fresh is a parasite, but he can still like/dislike/care about/ect. X.”

Wrong again! People seem to think Fresh likes things- unfortunately, that’s really hard to do when YOU CAN’T FEEL AT ALL. That’s right y’all. Fresh, contrary to what people believe, doesn’t care about you, your family, your money, nope. If he could be argued to care about anything, that’s HIMSELF. Because he wants to live. He may, by extension, prefer hosts with more magic to feed off of (More food! Yay! More living!), or that are less conspicuous (I dare you to count the number of Sans that exist. Bet you can’t. It’s infinite. What’s one Sans out of eleventy-badjillion.), but really as long as you’ll keep him alive and well, you’ll do.

However, while Fresh cannot feel and cannot truly understand emotion in his basic, vanilla form, he knows what fear is like. It’s the fear of Death that keeps him going after all- why would survival matter if he didn’t care whether or not he died? It wouldn’t, honestly. There’s an extension to this fear as well- the fear of being replaced, especially by… well, himself. He knows that we, the people controlling everything, exist. He also knows that on a whim, we could end him in moments, or replace him with a better, more entertaining version of himself.

I think we can cut him a bit of slack in that regard. Survival is dependent on Fear- the whole fight or flight thing, knowing when a situation is dangerous, knowing when something will probably hurt or be a bad idea, that’s a fear thing. If Fresh is going to be a sentient being he’s gonna feel at least a little fear in his life. Although, for a while there, fear was a hard thing to make him feel, because he was pretty sure he was simply better than everyone else. He probably hadn’t experienced much in the way of losing a fight, both when it comes to controlling hosts or magic V magic fights with mad people.

I’ll elaborate on how much fun an emotional fresh is after a few more points. Now:

“Fresh is weak, or a joke.”

You make me laugh, pretend speaker of unfortunately wrong statements. It seems you have been fooled by Fresh’s Persona- his gaudy, 90s, friendly, weak persona. I hope you never meet Fresh in real life, because you’d be foolishly drawn into a sense of security by the fact that Fresh acts the fool. Please, take notice: HE ACTS. the fool.

Fresh is absolutely, definitely, not a fool. He doesn’t understand emotion, he doesn’t have emotion, but he is VERY smart. Being smart is a very good way to survive.

So then why is he outwardly ridiculous so much? It’s apparently not because he feels like people should be nice and good and happy, according to me, so what’s the deal? I ask you to consider the situation: You’re at a bus stop and there’s someone waiting there. They show no emotional cues, stare straight into your eyes, and hardly move. Their voice is flat and as far as you can tell they have no interests, besides possibly kidnapping you for who-knows what. Hmm… sounds like someone… I don’t want to be around……

Now consider instead, you go to the bus stop and see a happy, colorful figure standing there having a very animated conversation with someone else. His sense of fashion may be a few decades late, as well as his speech patterns, but he’s so much more approachable! Look at him, smiling and shooting you fingerguns and talking about the new furbies he’s gotten- very rare angel furby apparently, he’s in love already- you’d be much more willing to be his friend!

Fresh want’s friends. Not because he’s lonely, but because they’re easy to use. Friends are more willing to protect you if someone else attacks you. Friends are more willing to believe your side of the story, and put up with a few little quirks now and then. Friends make very, very good hosts. If you aren’t expecting it, there’s no way you’re going to be able to get away from Fresh if he’s got you where he wants you, somewhere private where there’s no one to see him take you, no one to save you, not even a chance to scream…

Being friendly is the key to survival. Of course he’s going to act the fool. NEVER underestimate Fresh. He’s counting on it. He will use you if you give him the chance because he simply doesn’t care.

I do have a quick note though! One thing that I headcanon a bit is that when he gives advice he really does mean it. Don’t Do Drugs! Be a nice person! Stay Hydrated Kids! He probably legitimately wants you to do these things. After all, if you’re taking care of yourself, you’ll make a much better host! Drugs cause all kinds of problems- If the host body has an addiction, Fresh has to deal with all the physical withdrawal symptoms because guess what, if something’s wrong with your body, it’s going to have to be dealt with when Fresh controls you. Broken legs? Not a great host. Easily sick? Not preferable. Trying to get over an addiction? What a hassle. Stay healthy so Fresh can have a nice functional host when he gets to you, ok?

“Fresh is still a good person though! He can’t help being a parasite, that doesn’t mean he can’t be convinced to be better!”

You sound like a Papyrus! Sorry but I hope you also never meet Fresh. You’d also probably die. Heck I’d probably die if I met Fresh. He’s really dangerous y’all.

Here are some possible side effects of emotionlessness!

A: You don’t care.

B: You don’t care.

C: You really, really DON’T CARE.

...really hard concept, I know. Of course, not everyone thinks extensively on what exactly “not caring” means for you, so I’ll give you a run down! I ask that you think a bit about Flowey as well. Flowey lost emotions after having them and became a bad person. Fresh started with nothing and had no morals. Now let’s see what that might do to you!

First of all, this means that you don’t care about other people. Their problems, and most importantly, their life, does not matter to you. If Fresh is helping you with something there’s probably going to be something in it for him too. Now, because Fresh doesn’t care about your life, nothing that happens to you matters! Depressed? Oh well! In pain? Not his problem, unless it starts interfering with your usefulness!

He knows he’s more powerful than you. If you’re his host, you are completely at his mercy- his non existent, parasitic mercy. If Fresh thinks he needs to prove a point, he’s not afraid to. By any means necessary. Does that mean torture? Does that mean making you watch as he ruins your life? Does that mean possessing you more than once because you wouldn’t keep your stupid mouth shut? Ok. If it works, why wouldn’t he do those things? And, even more than that, if it’s more efficient, why wouldn’t he decide to just cut straight to the point? It’s not like YOU can do anything about it. You’re basically a dead man walking.

It doesn’t stop there though. This is stepping a bit more into the shady waters of “maybe” as far as fresh’s character goes, but it’s been mentioned once or twice. Fresh knows that he’s better than you (as evidenced by the fact that you can’t exactly stop him when you’re the host), and honestly? He knows he can get away with a lot. He Canonically infected hundred of people for what amounted to nothing more than “because I can.” THAT’S Fresh. That’s just one example. He knows what he’s able to do, and why not do that as long as it’s not putting him in danger?

You’ll see him pushing the boundaries a lot- him an error have some sort of weird relationship that we’re not really sure about, but considering just how uncomfortable ERROR is about Fresh, that’s kinda a sign that “maybe there’s something wrong here.” Error has destroyed entire universes (at the very least, he has when he was still Sans. All we know about lucidia Error is that he’s dressed like a freakin’ hobo.), and he’s been shown as having a great distrust and dislike when it comes to Fresh.

Error happens to be lucky though. His Soul glitching out could potentially cut True Fresh in half and that’s not something Fresh is particularly into, so the chances of Error ever getting possesed are nearly zero. We’ll just have to see what CQ has in mind.

“You keep talking about True Fresh, is that different from Fresh somehow?”

No, True Fresh and Fresh are the same person. When I say Fresh, I’m implying Fresh when he’s in a host and actually able to talk and do things. True Fresh is the actual parasite that is Fresh. The vaguely Starfish-slug-eyeball hybrid that crawls around infecting people and ruining everyone’s life. That’s what I mean when I say True Fresh.

Right now, True Fresh’s physical capacities are a bit vague? We know that hostless, True Fresh is very very weak. One good stomp on his eye would put him out of commision forever, and he’s not exactly very durable. Beyond that, I’m not entirely sure about the details? I’ve asked questions before about some things and have some solid answers- such as the fact that True Fresh can’t talk (but he screeches! Fun!) and can’t drown, but as far as things like physical strength and whether or not he emits slime… I have no idea. I’d like to think he’s a bit slimey and able to climb up stuff because it’s sticky, but I don’t know for sure so don’t ask me.

In short: Imagine four slugs that are purple. Connect them all together with their faces touching, like a starfish. Now give it a big eye right in the middle that’s also kinda a mouth with pointly lil’ teeth. That’s True Fresh. Probably about the size of a fist. I don’t think a specific size has ever been given. All I know is that they’re definitely small enough to fit uncomfortably into someone’s mouth, but not small or flexible enough to get in anywhere else unless you have a reasonably sized open wound.

*Side note, his teeth!! I’ve seen a few interpretations as to how placement is, but it’s the cutest part. Smol pointy teeth pokin’ out ready for the chompin!! It would be cute if it wasn’t terrifying.

“But I’ve seen emotional Fresh things from people with the CQ seal of approval! What does it mean??”

Nyeh heh heh, my homie, this is a fun topic right here. What your talking about is a variation on the vanilla fresh where he gains emotions- AND BOY IS IT FUN! You see, because Fresh started out emotionless, He’s basically started out at 0. Maybe 1, if he’s got fear going for him.

Now go from 1 ALL THE WAY TO INFINITY.

Or, alternatively, a general build up of emotions that he may not even notice at first until “Oh my gosh what am I doing this doesn’t make sense why I’m I getting so irrational about this thing”

That’s insane! He felt nothing before then! That’s like giving a college professor the emotional disposition of a 5 year old! IT’S A MESS! But a fun, wonderful to explore mess.

Especially if Fresh had the opportunity to do some real bad things before he got emotions.

Everything is a big deal for a while! That furby you had before you even really cared about it? It’s never going to leave your ownership. The person you were trying to befriend so you’d have an easy host for later? Crap. You, accidentally legitimately befriended them and now you can’t bring yourself to do it, even though it’s putting you at risk. That time someone made fun of the way you looked, and they took it too far, and maybe you were having a bad day? Guess what kind of hell they’re about to get.

The thing is, the way Fresh ends up depends entirely on what he did pre-emotion, and how he got his emotions. I’d like to bring up @alainaprana ‘s Kid Fresh- AND PLEASE NOTE! KID FRESH IS NOT TRUE FRESH! THEY ARE TWO SEPARATE PEOPLE WITH SEPARATE STORIES AND SEPARATE EXPERIENCES! However, this is an easy way to make my point.

Kid Fresh was born emotionless, and lived in a fairly good environment. He was never given the chance to develop any bad habits, living with a supportive family (minus error), and he didn’t have the same problem True Fresh has. Namely, the problem of being a soul-eating parasite that has to kill to continue living. So he got his emotions, and bad things definitely happened! He got sick because of the intensity of everything, and felt way too hard and had it pretty rough for a while! But eventually he grew up to do some pretty great things, being healthy and in a great friendship and generally? Ending up good.

Parasite Fresh, however, has a lot more problems going for him than Kid Fresh. There's a very good reason why Fresh is emotionless, most importantly because empathy is killer to him. He absolutely cannot care about people if he wants to survive in the best possible way he can. For every one person he would befriend that would be another source of magic that he’s not getting. Eventually he’d run out of hosts or his friends would turn on him, and neither one of those outcomes are great. Being emotionless also means you’re less likely to cause a scene, because you don't get worked up about anything! Nothing gets under your skin. Except maybe a death threat from someone who could actually conceivably kill you.

This section is about if Fresh gains emotions though, you know the basic backstory of emotionlessness now. First you have to consider how he got his emotions. Was it gained slowly over time, building itself into existence until it started getting out of his control? That's going to cause problems. I’d like to draw your attention now to @neon--nightmare ‘s Fresh, who is ALSO TECHNICALLY NOT CANON! It’s very good though. Situated in GloomVerse instead of Undertale (or even better, Lucidia) but that’s not too big a problem for our purposes.

This is a Fresh that's been going down the buildup path. He started out exactly like Canon Fresh, but his story took him through The Loveball (essential rp for Fresh’s character) as well as A Meeting with Himself (Also Really important). He knows that if he starts screwing up, we, the people in control, could replace him real easy.

Fresh started out terrified at the least, and for good reason! However, as time passed, there started to be some small things that add up to a lot. One of the most obvious things is his near obsession with Wallis, and not the positive kind of obsession. He’s tried to kill Wallis at least twice, or done things that would end up with him dying, because he's worried about something that Wallis is doing. (Please note that Wallis is still alive partially through plot armor, but I mean, because we already know fresh knows we exist you could argue that he might realize Wallis has some sort of protection, but that’s really Meta and personally not what I think neon is going for.)

Wallis, meanwhile? He’s trying to help Fresh, and Fresh can't handle that. WHY would Wallis be helping him? Fresh nearly killed him multiple times- and remember! Life is EVERYTHING to Fresh! If you nearly killed Fresh but let him live you’d better watch your back. But instead of getting a response like that to his literal torture of this GloomVerse Star, he gets… what almost feels like pity? Regret? An honest, true desire to try and HELP Fresh, Because he needs the help.

The implications of that to Fresh are HUGE! Ignore the fact that Fresh is very definitely grieving the loss of a true actual friend (which was also a mistake) at the Loveball, and the fact that Fresh Knows he has to act “right” or risk getting thrown out and simply replaced by us, but the fact that he needs help is a big problem. He was made to be self-sufficient, an uncaring parasite that’s got a fun, although fake, persona. Now instead he’s a stressful mess that breaks down at a pointed mention of ‘them’ and is trying to desperately hide the fact that he's gaining emotions and it’s bad.

Things to consider with the gradual build up though. Has he stopped taking hosts? No, Although considering he took Wallis twice or so he's not exactly being as efficient anymore. Has he stopped being cruel? More the opposite, if anything he’s now more dangerous than ever in that regard, if you happen to push any of his feel buttons and freak him out enough to see you as a risk. He’s really trying to be himself but it’s not working. He had a fixation on Wallis because Wallis was making him feel, and for all his life Feeling = Bad. He can't afford to break and he knows it. Even still, slowly but surely, he’s falling apart.

---- Small intermission! Sorry but that’s a lot so far. Feel free to take a little break, like I am, and think about what you’ve discovered so far. It’s a lot ain’t it. Who knew Fresh was actually a multi-dimensional in depth character with some big problems. (I did. And now hopefully you do.) ----

BACK TO FRESH! Now, I mentioned before, there's another way to give emotions to Fresh, and while it’s less likely it’s just as fun to explore. That’s the method of “Let’s dump all the emotions on Fresh and see what happens.” This method usually happens from some sort of magical interference.

This is that zero to everything I mentioned before. Fresh, with no experience or build up, is suddenly feeling just as much as me or you. That’s a whole lot more than he was feeling before and BOY WOULD THAT BE STRESSFUL. Especially if Fresh got guilt in a more traditional way, like we would feel, instead of a build of emotions.

See, when Fresh builds up to emotions he’s still being Fresh. He’s still possessing and lying and doing his best to keep being himself, which is just unfortunate enough to not be a great person. If you dump all of the emotions on Fresh he has to deal with it immediately. There’s no time to become comfortable with what he's doing. All the sudden he has all this junk on him, a lot of it not even initially dealing with hosting, but once it becomes time for him to move on to someone else? He has to deal with empathy, and guilt.

Empathy is completely, entirely unacceptable. He can't afford to care about what happens to someone else! He can now feel that feeling of “what if someone did this to me” and if he can't rationalize himself out of that emotion he's absolutely screwed. All the sudden everything is different. There are people he cares about, and he knows what he does is Hell to the host. Ever had the life sucked out of you by force while someone else controlled your body and proceeded to ruin your life? It’s bad. Now imagine you have to do that to someone else just to live. Bad times all around.

That's just for emotions in the present. Start bringing up Fresh's past and it can get worse. For example, the fact that he slowly murdered at least a few hundreds of people more likely than not, as well as destroying relationships, and honestly? Some of that you did because you didn't care and you knew you could. Unfortunately, now you do care and you can see how bad that was. Really bad. You're a bad person, and even trying to act like “yourself” drags up SO MANY PROBLEMS. Some therapy may be required. Or a lot of therapy. Take your pick.

“Well, This stuff doesn't matter for me because I’m only interested in sexy times Fresh anyways and that's a different thing *lenny *wink face.”

(TL:DR of this in case it’ll make you uncomfortable, Fresh is a literal Asexual Parasite and doesn't understand Love anyways. Stop.)

Sorry buddy but Fresh can't even do that! Firstly he has no concept of love, so unless you give him emotions there's not going to be any relationship between you two except “possible host” and “probable cause of death.” Any love you would feel for him is unfortunately one sided, sorry Alaina.

Alright, but then you give him emotions and enough time to sort out his complicated junk. Fair enough, then maybe, very very maybe could you have some sort of relationship with Fresh. One that didn't end badly, I mean.

Emotions or not, Fresh has no grasp of sex. It just, doesn't compute. You see, Fresh is an Asexual Parasite in the literal meaning of the word. He produces more parasites all on his own, as much as he wants (or doesn't), without any help from anyone. Even without that, why would Fresh engage in that sort of relationship? There's no point. If he wants to get close to someone being friends is fine and doesn't take as long more often than not. Maybe, Maybe he would go to a bar and find someone to trick into following him away for a quick easy host, but if that happens, sorry, you’re not getting much more than your shirt off in a best case scenario. There's definitely not going to be any action.

Also, consider his persona. Does he look like the sort of person who would do that with someone he was unfamiliar with? No, not really, and remember, he doesn't exactly have the time to cultivate a relationship until it gets to that point. Please also consider that if Fresh can't feel, you aren't getting anything good out of that kind of venture anyways. He's completely inexperienced, and he's not going to understand what’s going on at any level. He just. He can't, he's completely Asexual. He might be a minor except we don't know how long Fresh has been alive, or when exactly he becomes not a kid anymore. It’s all crappy.

It’s just not good. Stop. Fresh has a kiss list, look into getting one of those instead. Still doesn't understand the weight of a kiss but it’s as good as you're canonically getting.

“Wow, that’s a super long post! How do you know so much?”

Because I LOVE FRESH! I too was drawn in by his friendly persona, however, instead of just taking that and assuming that’s all there was, I tried to find out anything I could. I looked through CQ’s blog for anything involving Fresh, I asked questions when I had questions, I went to sources that were fairly trustable, and then I asked more questions. I watched and read and considered his character really really hard because I didn't want to misunderstand him.

Fresh is in a strange state of having not enough information about him posted, and at the same time having all the information you need about him to understand him. We don't know what his true past is, why he exists, what minor goals will be, because in short, that’s spoilers. This is the information that’ll get revealed within Lucidia. And if it doesn't I’m going to eat my fist and then proceeded to ask more questions.

HOWEVER! We know so much about who he is, and if you're careful with it you might even be able to fill in some blanks with reasonable headcanons! We know that he’s emotionless, and already if you just think about that fact you’ve got miles to run with. The fact that he’s a parasite, and what that means as far as morals go. Something that has to kill to live is going to mature differently than we do, and come to different conclusions about the world! Different assumptions, hopes, expectations, experiences! So many things!

So please, I ask you, don’t try to sell me a fresh that’s little more than a bright sk8er boi that uses outdated lingo and happens to be a parasite. Sell me a Parasite trying to fly under the radar the best way it can, by imitating others and playing their cards so that they're always one step ahead, manipulating and hurting others on the down low so that people won’t believe the ones he’s hurt and they'll be willing to follow him into a risky situation. Sell me a clever Fresh, an emotionless Fresh, a Fresh that isn't afraid to get his hands dirty if that’s really the best way to get something done.

Sell me the Real Fresh, not the Fannon.

Someone close to you is dying. You have the choice to let this person live for 10 more years, but if you do, you cause the death of 10 strangers. You don’t have to see them die. Do you take the offer? I’d like to think I’m not that selfish but if you put me in that position I don’t know if I could really let go that easily.

What is one thing you could never forgive? I don’t know. I forgive people for a lot of things, and I’m very understanding. I always say I could never forgive people for certain things and then I surprise myself.

Did you have any regrets? Like, when you were dying, did you think back and wish you did stuff? I wish I ate more junk food. Like, there was so much junk food in our kitchen, but I was too scared of the chef to sneak in and swipe any, y'know? I regret not burning that house down when I left, ‘cause I just kept going back when it was still standing. I regret not sending my stupid, baby, prototype gear for heroes on the news instead of tossing them in a parts pile for later.

I regret not loving them harder. Pheo, Gale. Told them they felt like parents to me, which like, in hindsight, maaaybe shouldn’t do when you’re on a killing island? But I’ve never had that feeling before–like being a kid and doing stupid crap and having someone scold you for ripping your new clothes, or wrapping your wounds after you’ve fell. I wasn’t asking them to adopt me, lmao, but I wouldn’t of minded calling them home.

What was your home-life like? You were a neighborhood hero, so I’m sure you could step outside and people outside would wave at ya. Have you ever done those, like, slip-n-slides? On your front lawn? Remember those stupid commercials about them with a dozen kids having the time of their life? Always wanted to do that. Been thinking bout what it’s like being selfish in the last few minutes. Like, what it means, and for who. I told Min I thought it was okay to be selfish here, given everything. You don’t know how long you have left, y'know? So if it’s selfish of me to die, to not have to deal with the aftermath of all this, not have to face anyone here, then it’s okay for them to be selfish and cut ties before I go.

I don’t have to carry that feeling for much longer anyway, so I think I can hold it up until then. Sucks, but, like, you know how it is. Can’t blame 'em. I just hope they’re okay with how they choose to feel after this.

There is a shift in the air. It’s not a pleasant one, but it feels more comfortable to Gabi. Like being on set with a bunch of strangers, where only the director and a few others knew why a young man decked out in Moon Rover merch was sitting in a corner playing on a video game controller.

And yeah, it hurt. Stung like a bitch. Worse than when his parents left for the day, and he got that burn three times a week.

He inhales, exhales, and takes a step away from Abe’s podium. The furby is left there, because despite the small moment he held it warmly with Artemis, it still didn’t belong to him. He takes a step back, fingertips brushing over the crown of Abe’s hair, fond and tender and lingering, before he drops it and begins walking.

He takes the long way back. Around the outside of the circle, studying the backs of the strangers he’d known for a brief period of time. Smaller than he remembers them being, but the backs of strangers nonetheless. As he walks, he breathes, tipping his chin up and up and up, until there’s a fire in his eyes and flame in his chest.

Dear Aphrodite, he thinks, think I get it now, y'know? That whole confidence thing they’ve been telling me about. Making a choice and owning it, y'know? I don’t think that makes it any easier, doesn’t make that shaking stop, doesn’t make me any less scared, but it’s like when I left my house that first day. Freedom? Something like that.

With gentle touch, Gabi guides Nate and AI-R to let him get back into his spot at his podium. He stands between them, and presses in a vote. It’s a different feeling, looking out at everyone like this–not behind a screen, not sitting on the floor. Just being present and there with everyone.

I am legit FUCKING PISSED!!! I LOST TWO ALLIES THAT WERE GOOD FOR MY GAME. 4 PEOPLE DID TYLER, I GOT LIED TOO BY A MAJORITY OF THEM!!!! BECAUSE JACKSON SAID 5 (ME, himself, Linus, Mo and QUILL) but Kelsey said so as well so which is 6. SO SOMEONE IS FUCKING LYING TO ME!!! AND I AM LEGIT PISSED OFF TO THE EXTENT IF THESE BITCHES WANNA PLAY CUTTHROAT ILL CUTTHROAT BACK NOW

I am so alone in this game.... like FOR REALS! I can't trust anyone in this game! Like everyone is a liar and a backstabber.... like can't anyone tell me the truth for once!!!! That tribal was ugly. Mo leaving is not a cute concept and Tyler finding an idol on exile was like... wow. However, not my tribe, not my problem. Right now I want to focus on winning the reward again. I want to send myself to exile as a sort of retribution for RTP. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. I know that with my idol, however, I will get through a tribal. Plus, the puzzle is a mood and I think we'll get a good time on it.

forgot to mention this but jordan mutinying is so iconic lol. idk why he did it but i love the drama. what i dont love however is tyler idoling out mo. i wanted to work with mo come swap or merge but now i cant. also raf's dislike of tyler enabled him to go to exile twice where he found the idol so thats annoying. also i think theres tension between raf and rtp/ry so idk whats that about. so far i like working with richie, raf, trixie kind of but she seems cracked, and rtp. but idk if thats a group that could actually come together. i wont have to worry about it until we lose a challenge i guess tho!

Good golly, Miss Molly. Everybody makes choices...and people have CHOSEN. So going into the tribal, I had my heart set on voting Linus. In the case that three million people played idols again, if I threw my vote, I didn't have to play my own, therefore keeping myself in another day. But, I then paid attention to a chat consisting of Tyler, Isaac and Linus. Tyler wanted to vote for Mo and mentally I was thinking "LOL no you bottom bye" because I really didn't want to be taking such a strong side, especially one so brittle as Tyler's. Not to mention Jordan, who I thought would be my automatic lover, has definitely NOT contacted me about much in this game and it made me shifty. However...I got to thinking. I thought to myself, "Kelsey, who are you?" And the answer was "I am Kelsey Valentana Mikaelson, I'm a cutthroat queen who slashes throats and wears ugg boots." And I realized that if I indeed voted for Linus and didn't take a side, I'd be right up there with the people who always vote me out just for being an "easy vote." That's when I said to myself "Ok Kelsey...screw it, you want Tyler in this game, do something about it." I decided then that hey, even if I vote in minority, girl, does anyone REALLY expect anything different out of a controversial gal like me~? So I changed my vote. About...one minute before deadline, but still, I DID IT and I decided to have no regrets. And then....the GAG. First of all, Tyler apparently told no one, not even Jordan, that he had an idol which I don't believe. But then...Mo goes home...! It was really tragic as well, cause I had JUST told Mo he's not going anywhere. But regardless; the vote is revealed that someone voted Linus. I immediately know it's me. However...following Mo's elimination, it opens up a door. Jackson and Tyler are OBVIOUSLY warring sides now. Both of them are boiling hot personalities and it's oil vs water, gurl, it's split the tribe in two. I've told Jackson's side I was the vote for Linus to avoid an idol massacre. And that's true, I did vote Linus and the hosts can confirm. However, I can also tell Tyler's side that I voted for Mo without knowing about the idol, showing I'm willing to take that leap of faith for them. And if they ask the hosts, that is also true. This has given me the opportunity to be a swing vote for BOTH sides and...if I so wanted...I think that really choose who goes next? It's kinda weird to think that I have like...power, cause it NEVER HAPPENS LOL but...I'm just going to plug ALL my effort into this next challenge. The longer I stay in this position without having to make a move, the better. I just really really really REALLY hope it stays this swell forever! okay so! im back in the game FOLKS. on my old tribe im leaving behind Chelsea and RTP who although I wanted to work with them I was way too inactive... oh well. That Rafael guy was sweet. But on exile I got to seriously bond with Akito. I helped her with the puzzles (even though the reward is already gone since Tyler got it, and all i got to know is that THEY DON'T REPLACE IT). But I get an ally! finally! And she's telling me all this stuff about her tribe and how Tyler and Jordan M are beefing people. blah blah. I didn't really follow or understand what the dynmaics are like there. But I can tell Quillynn and Jackson that Chelsea and I worked well together and maybe work with them. Akito said that they're together. And Kelsey is in the middle? Since I'm mutiny'ing I can use this as a fresh start! Maybe I won't have to use my idol the first tribal I go to. But I probably should lol. The second I get to this new tribe (even if we lose which we probably will) I'm gonna go 100% social.

Hi I'm Jackson and this is my third confessional. Obviously the elephant in the room is my fight with Tyler, he's kind of arrogant and obnoxious so I don't really regret it. I still want him out and even though I told him we're voting Isaac I still think he has to go this time since he couldn't possibly have another (if I go home cause of that tho I'll be glad, fuck idols) But anyway I'm kinda high and I don't have much to say, we lost the challenge because we suck, no I actually don't care about challenge strength, yes I am okay continuing to lose The alliance of me, Kelsey, Quillynn, Linus and Akito will hopefully stand together even though we're back to being a tribe of 9 (Ryan is here wtf he prob doesn't trust me I tried to vote him out a million times in Kvaloya) Ok bye I hate this
