Thinking about the myriad theories of men bonding Dany's dragons (and it's always men). Amidst all of the theorizing and meta writing and inaccurate characterization of the lore, what goes most ignored is that the dragons exist in relation to Daenerys. I don't just mean physically or magically––they are an extension of her. They are her children, her soul, and a symbol of her.

Daenerys does want two men she can trust to ride her dragons. But it's about Dany's trust, and Dany's love for her dragons, that is at the crux of who will "get" to bond with them in the future. It's not about which man in the series has enough Valyrian blood, or is brave enough, or has the right magical tools. As it is, Euron will likely steal a dragon (stealing and bonding a dragon are two different things). But when it comes to ideas of who will be other two heads, people forget that the three heads cannot be complete if the two other people in it don't irrevocably love and trust Dany, and are loved and trusted by her.

Hence why most theories about "who will bond the dragons" fail.
