We know that zestial and alastor both are quite old times, but the connection they have, I feel like zest is either the owner of alastors soul, or a mentor figure for him since he came to hell.

Either way, grandpa zestial

Alastor was either really proud of you and showed you off to his great old friend, and now zestial is just like a grandfather to you, or zestial heard about you and pretty much forced his way into your life.

If it was by five to cover into your life, then it was clear he was just trying to keep alastor in check, at least that was the original plan, but then he also got attached to you. he doesn't even try to hide it.

"How be-ith thou, little one?"

The way you won his heart was by not fearing him and practically just existing.

Just like alastor he was amused by you, but sticky became attached.

Grandpa zestial definitely does acts of service for you.

Got a bully? Dead.

Need something done? Don't even need to ask.

Expect afternoon tea with your dad and grandpa almost every day.

"How hast thou day been, little one?"

You don't even look up at him as you say in his lap, too focused on your drawing "

"I practiced my braiding"

"And where is thou's work?" The old demon inquired, checking your hair for any of your skill.

"Check papa" you point your crayon to alastor, a smile now gracing your face.

Zestial looks at alastor who trembles in his seat with embarrassment, turning his head to show he has a small braid on the back of his head.

Just know that if there's ever something that alastor can't handle, you know grandpa zestial got you.
