Hermitville au post ✨
So in the og version of course it was only hermitcraft, but i always felt like if i added other mc spaces then Scott would be an elf.
But then limited life rolled around and I kinda like the mean gills approach more I think. I originally played around a bit with the concept of a mermaid Scott and human Martyn, with them often going out at night to thr lake as Scott requires ✨ h2o ✨. Technically he can be out of water but being in water daily is a requirement to life.
I still like the idea but i think a fun (edgy and angsty) alternative idea which would lean even heavier into the mean gills aesthetic is that both Martyn and Scott are sea monsters. Through means (i still have to develop and think about), Scott started to get "sick" as a human. And as a result he is becoming more and more like an ocean monster as time passes. The only person Scott trusted with the knowledge had been Martyn, concidering magic and all that good stuff isn't a known thing amongst humans. So Martyn started spending a LOT of time around Scott, to the point where he himself managed to get the same "sickness" as Scott
As a result you got 2 human-sea creatures who are desperately trying to hide their identity while being there for eachother. With no way ro know how to stop it from spreading further on their bodies. At least not without help

Centuries after two cups defeated the devil and freed the citizents of the inkwel isles, they became legends, then myths. Now they are stories being retold to every child, every piece of media and even other isles.
Among these other isles was one special isel. Hermitville.
An isle, that was recklesly ruled by beings that called themselves "hermits".
Some say, the hermits were the ones that created Hermitville. Some say the hermits... come from another dimesion.
Though the Hermits' rule was not a mercyful one.
They took the land of people to build their huge buildings.
They destroyed deserts and made mountains appear overnight.
They bearly listened to the peoples pleas.
Hermitville needed a hero to defeat these beings of power.
A blank slate of a creature walked into Hermitville one day. No eyes. No mouth. No color. Only a Y/N plastered on their white body.
They were the hero Hermitville needed.
The creature met with a creature made out of the galaxy itself. Some people called this galaxy creature "X".
The white slate of a person, made a deal with the floating galaxy.
"If I can win against all of the Hermits, you move away and give everything back to the people you stole from."
X nodded. A green aura overtook the both of them.
The deal was sealed
- Dice Anon
the fight was long and bloodied; in the end the isle was destroyed under the oppressive might of the fighters. the hero could only retreat, defeated, from the battle unable to save the people of the isle but instead doomed them to death.
little did the hero know that the isle was destroyed on purpose to let the hermits build on a fresh slate. the hero only provided an excuse to the carnage; it was inevitable. maybe one day the isle will be saved.

Note
vague au: hermit monster town. they're all monsters and they band together to form a community without humans... until local bumbling human Mumbo Jumbo finds them by complete accident (ships ok)
Yesssss!! You speak my language!!
Hermitville is a hidden away pandoras box, its impossible to find and they say that only the true outcasts of society could find it.
The town is home to the many creative monsters and creatures that stalk throughout its lands. Including but not limited to:
'Monstrous' hybrids of wolves and birds
The undead in many forms
And creatures so awful that they cover their faces to not be a threat.
And for a long while thats how it was. A land for the rejects and the freaks. That is until a stoway came along...
Mumbo jumbo, an adventurer and failure to all his crafts. A pitiful inventor who only ever created monstrous 'toys'. He had no use.
When he first came to town, he was treated like a danger to the people, until Xisuma, a armoured cryptid gave light to how he even found them.
Then as the days grew he found he shared similarites with the civillains especially with a certain feathered man, with huge burning, black eyes that seemed like holes, clawed and lanky hands and a red sweater to cover all his fluff and feathers.
And maybe those similarites were what brought them to the pit of desire they found themselves in.

Falling Empires Fic Masterpost
What is Falling Empires?
The Falling Empires AU (or FEAU) is my interpretation of how the Minecraft Universe works, and it incorporates extensive worldbuilding for Minecraft itself as well as for MCYT series. I’ve been working on this for several years now and I’m very excited to get things rolling! FEAU operates on one simple principle: every mcyt series is canon in some way, and it explores the ramifications of this fact in the story. Falling Empires primarily focuses on Hermitcraft and, later, Dream SMP, though many other series make appearances.
To learn more about the series, check the #falling empires au, #feau worldbuilding and #my writing tags on this blog! You can read the published works in this series here on my ao3.
What was that about a story?
Yep, stories, in fact! FEAU currently consists of five main series fics as well as numerous short stories, oneshots, and ficlets. Everything I write, unless explicitly stated otherwise, can be assumed to be canon to FEAU.
Check out the breakdown of the fics and where to find them below the cut!
These are the current stories in Falling Empires:
Some Princes Don’t Become Kings- a Hermitcraft s6 au set during the Hermitville Build Off where Grian, having escaped from the Watchers, finds himself pursued across worlds by Beings desperate to get him back by any means necessary. Grian pov, Watcher au, Architechs focus, angst and sacrifice. In progress, 7/21 chapters published, 12/21 written.
Unnamed sequel- Hermitcraft s6 au set during the Area 77 arc. Following the events of SPDBK, the Hermits must deal with the fallout of Watcher invasion, but not everyone agrees on how to move forward. Outlining.
Corruption, Sing Along in Harmony- as Hermitcraft season 7 begins and as life progresses on the newly-formed Dream SMP server, Scott Major begins to host his monthly Minecraft Championships. Retells the events of both servers with a focus on crossovers and especially MCC. May be split into three parts for length. Outlining.
Three Strike’s the Charm- a 3rd Life au set during the end of CSaiH. When the 3rd Life server glitches and erases everyone’s memories, the Players find themselves trapped in a game of loyalty and betrayal that can only end in blood. Multi pov, memory loss, angst, character death, the inherent homoeroticism of devoting yourself to another. Outlining.
Fate, Don’t Fail Me Now- Dream SMP au set during CSaiH. Karl Jacobs is a time traveler, and he’s determined to use his powers for good. So he meddles, and the timeline forks. Or, Karl’s time traveling misadventures and how they impact the main storyline. Not started.
And these are the canon, currently written side stories:
River Lethe Runs Red Tonight- a 3rd Life ficlet set during TStC. Etho contemplates something Ren says, and has a realization. Completed, 846 words, 1/1 chapters.
Aletheia- Empires fic set after TStC. Scott remembers Third Life, as much as he would rather not. Or, Scott does not want to talk about Jimmy, but that matters little when your new god can read your thoughts. Completed, 4301 words, 1/1 chapters.
In the Undergrove, Resistance Blooms- Empires ficlet exploring some Undergrove worldbuilding. The creatures of the Undergrove consider the new inhabitants of their world, namely, the gnome and the demon who follows her. Completed, 679 words, 1/1 chapters.
Landscape with the Fall of Icarus- post 3rd Life fic set during Hermitcraft s8. Grian is not afraid of heights, so he has no problem working on the Boatem mountain gigabase. Then he falls, and Scar catches him. Completed, 1755 words, 1/1 chapters.
There are quite a few more side stories in progress or being outlined, but I’m not including them for length. This post will be updated when they’re complete and available!
Or, to sum it up:
Some Princes Don’t Become Kings -> unnamed sequel -> Corruption, Sing Along in Harmony / Three Strike’s the Charm (River Lethe Runs Red Tonight) / Fate, Don’t Fail Me Now -> Aletheia / In the Undergrove, Resistance Blooms / Landscape with the Fall of Icarus
I may make a masterpost for all the FEAU worldbuilding as I’m sure I’ve shared stuff on this blog and I have multiple google docs overflowing with the stuff, so look out for that in the future! In the meantime, you can check the #feau worldbuilding tag for more info! If you wanna talk about anything FEAU related, my asks are always open and anon is on, I’d love to chat!!

watch and learn: chapter 3
[ Read on AO3 too! ] [ Chapter 1 ] [ Chapter 2 ] [ You are here! ] [ Chapter 4 ]
---
 Chewing on his lip, Mumbo looked down at the floor, choosing his next words carefully. Grian was right- he couldn't waste time thinking up the questions themselves, but what else could he do?
This suspicious figure he'd unintentionally spotted had seemingly been following him, watching him...
 Of course it would be a bit hard to pick his words.
Grian's icy gaze seemed to watch his every precise movement, narrowed dangerously.
Swallowing a lump in his throat, Mumbo sighed, grasping his hands together to keep them warm, and raised his head, locking eyes with the winged being.
  "What... are you?" He muttered cautiously. "Humans don't have wings."
  "Straight to the point, are we?" Grian tsked, resting his chin in the palm of his hand. "I'm simply an observer; a spectator... A Watcher." He hummed in amusement, a polite smile growing on his face once more.
  "That doesn't exactly answer my question," Mumbo huffed in frustration. "Are you some new- new mob or something?" He guessed.
  Grian laughed loudly, covering his smile with his hand.
His laugh sounded hyper and mischievous- sounded as if it belonged to someone who was watching the world explode.
 That laugh sent shivers down Mumbo's spine.
  "Oh- no, no! I'm not a mob, do you take me for some mindless monster? That's so silly. I answered your question- I am a Watcher." He chuckled, his laugh quieting down. "Though... I used to be human, you know. I was the owner of a server, too." He mused, a strange softness in his eyes.
  "You were human?" Mumbo questioned, the tension from his shoulders slowly fading. "How can you suddenly not be a human anymore? What happened?"
  Grian's smile fell from his face, an icy cold returning to the room once more. He did not look mad, per se, but rather, he looked melancholic, and bothered.
  "Don't you think there are more important questions you could be asking?" He replied flatly, before an amused smile was plastered on his face. "You can't unlock my secret backstory until my 7th side-quest!" He joked, snorting to himself.
  Despite the unexpected answer, Mumbo snapped his mouth shut, unease settling in his gut.
Though, if there was some way to turn a human into... whatever it is that Grian was, he wasn't sure if he wanted to know.
  "Well- alright, then..." Mumbo stuttered, rubbing his arms as the room grew colder still. "How... How did you come here? Did Xisuma whitelist you? He never said anything about a new hermit coming."
  "...Ah." Grian hummed, pulling a face. "I'm actually not so sure myself. I think we just... Can. Not so sure why- though, we Watchers are some sort of otherworldly entity and such."
  "You don't know how you were able to enter the server?" Mumbo asked, dumbfounded. "-Wait, 'otherworldly entity'?"
  "Yes, yes, I just said that," Grian sighed, rolling his purple-hued eyes. "And yeah, Watchers live beyond the Void, which technically makes them 'otherworldly'. Maybe that's why, actually- the Void connects to all worlds, after all..." He mumbled, furrowing his eyebrows.
  "That's... O-okay, then..." Mumbo muttered, pulling on the collar of his dress shirt- he was talking to some sort of alien, then? "Why... Why are you here? You said you had a 'task' to do. What is it?"
  The corner of Grian's mouth twitched, and he glanced to the side for a quick second- usual signs that belonged to a liar.
  "Well, if you must know..." He sighed, quickly plastering a smile on his face. "It's a Watcher's duty to keep an eye on worlds. Make sure it's not falling apart, or that nothing gets corrupted... Oh, and we help with updates, too." He explained, tapping the table with his finger mindlessly.
  Mumbo's eyes narrowed in confusion and hesitance.
 He remembered Grian's earlier statement, if it was that hard to believe he wasn't here to hurt him... And while it was not even ten minutes ago, suddenly it felt as though, just maybe, Grian didn't seem so bad.
 (Though, of course, something about him still left him with a sense of unease and uncertainty.)
  "So..." Mumbo began, his lips pulling into a thin line. "You're like... A guardian of the world? Then... Why are you so against me telling anyone you're here?"
  Grian frowned, the tapping on the table growing faster and painfully louder as the seconds quickly slipped by.
He was silent, eyes narrowed dangerously as he glared daggers in Mumbo's direction, the room suddenly feeling like a freezer. The ice patterns on the walls ever so slightly grew out towards the ceiling and floor, the air chilled and foggy...
  "Didn't I mention it before?" Grian muttered, annoyed. "Watchers are not supposed to be-"
  Suddenly, his eyes widened, and the familiar warping effect of an enderman flashed around him- within a second, he was gone.
 Mumbo's eyes were wide, and he stood up abruptly, shivering still and tightly hugging onto himself. Nearly instantly, a firework was heard, and after that, several more. Before long, a figure flew in through the window, nearly tumbling into him.
  "MUMBO!" Stress yelled, stumbling onto the ground and taking ahold of his shoulders. "How could you be four hours late to a meeting?! It's nearly-"
  Mumbo couldn't hear the rest of what she was saying- his eyes had drifted to the side. On the table where Grian had sat, there were faint carvings on the tabletop, of which appeared to be strange symbols and markings: Galactic writing.
Before long, Stress had noticed he wasn't listening, halting her speech and following his gaze.
  "Oh, hey," Stress hummed, hands slipping off of Mumbo's stiff shoulders, her fingers tracing over the symbols. "Isn't this Galactic? Have you been practicin' writing it or somefing?" She wondered, turning to look at Mumbo with wide, innocent eyes.
  "I-" Mumbo began, blinking rapidly. He felt a slow pit of guilt return to his gut as he carefully planned his next words. "...Yes, I- I have been. It's a... nice pastime. Rather than redstone, I mean." He stuttered, wringing his fingers together almost in shame- he hoped he was better at lying than he thought.
  "Well," Stress huffed, eyes narrowing playfully. "Next time don't carve it on our table! Now I've got'a go replace the damn block... What's it say, anyway?"
  "Oh-! Um, it-it, says..." Mumbo stammered, face flushing red in embarrassment. Why'd he have to go and make up an excuse that he himself couldn't go with?
 (Though, more adamantly on his mind, why was he making an excuse for Grian, anyways?)
 "Wait, wait, don't tell me! I've been learning a bit myself too, you know! Helpful when you're enchantin' stuff, 'n all that." Stress grinned, eyebrows furrowing as she looked down at the carvings once more. "Ot... No, that's an A... At the... 'At the dragon'? What is that s'pposed t' mean?"
  Slowly, the dread Mumbo had been setting aside came back to him full-force, his face paling and his eyes widening ever-so-slightly.
"At the dragon". Grian had carved that out, hadn't he?
  "Um..." Mumbo began, swallowing as his throat suddenly felt dry. "Don't... Worry about it. I was just... writing down random stuff." He rasped, looking off to the side and forcing a grin onto his face. "Sorry for, erm, missing the meeting, too. Didn't sleep too well, I guess."
  Stress' eyes softened, and she offered Mumbo a comforting smile- one that seemed much more genuine than the polite, porcelain smiles Grian had on his face constantly.
  "Oh, forget about all that, luv. Why don't you go get some more rest, then? You look a little pale," She hummed, placing a hand on Mumbo's shoulder gently. "It's awfully cold in here, too. I'll bring by some hot cocoa later, how's that sound?"
  Mumbo smiled exhaustedly and gratefully, shoulders drooping.
  "That... sounds lovely. Thank you, Stress," Mumbo mumbled, rubbing at his eyes. "I think I will go and do that- rest, I mean. I'll see you later, Stress..." He hummed, grabbing his set of rockets and waving a quick farewell before leaping out of the window, and stumbling into the air towards his base.
  He tried not to think too much about the cryptic message Grian had most definitely carved onto the table- with his finger, too.
 Though, of course, curiosity did kill the cat.
 "At the dragon"... What exactly did that mean? The first thing that came to mind was Stress' faux ice-dragon that curled around her winter-themed castle in Hermitville.
Other than that, there were Tango's dragon towers (which weren't even complete yet), but that seemed like the less likely option. Though, was there something inside the dragon? Did Grian want to meet up with him there?
 ...Should he risk meeting up with him?
 Grian still wasn't exactly a friendly entity, even if he claimed that he was watching the server as it's- what, protector?
But still, Mumbo couldn't risk leaving Grian alone and letting him do whatever he pleased- he still had questions that needed answering, too.
 As Mumbo landed on the roof of his spherical base, he looked down at the familiar scenery of the ocean.
The ocean was big, nearly endless, filled with life and wonders- Mumbo loved the ocean more than anything; save for redstone, of course. The salty smell of the ocean was comforting in a way, a reminder of what was around him.
 Mumbo stayed on the roof of his base for hours- snacking on golden carrots, messing with redstone parts, and enjoying the smell and scenery of the ocean and the gentle wind that blew past him.
The sun soon began to set, and by then Mumbo had made up his mind.
Dusting off the redstone on his hands, Mumbo fired a rocket and flew down, down to the bottom of his base and through his nether portal.
 Distantly, on a sculpted ice dragon, someone lay within the opened jaw of the non-organic creature, waiting...
  Watching.
 ---
 Stress drifted slowly to the floor of Mumbo's base, making a u-turn for his room, two mugs held in her hands and a bright smile on her face.
She couldn't help but feel giddy- it had been a while since she had hung out with Mumbo, after all! And what better way to spend time with a friend than to enjoy a tasty mug of hot cocoa?
Pushing the door open with her elbow, Stress glanced down at the chocolate and buckets of milk in her inventory, whispering into the room as to not cause a startle.
  "Hey Mumbs, I brought the-" She began, stepping into the room completely.
  She faltered, the smile on her lips slowly falling.
The room was empty and dark- it didn't look like anyone had been inside for hours.
  "...Mumbo?"

Fractured (part one)
So I have fallen into another fandom! @mine-sara-sp‘s shadow people au is just so good though!
A while ago she posted a fic of a vexed Paladin and it got me thinking. This is where that thinking went.
TW: Blood, fighting, panic attacks (somewhat), manipulation
Part 1 // Part 2 // Part 3 // Epilogue
The morning sun had just risen over the horizon and everything was quiet for once on Hermitcraft. With the recent glow ups in New Hermitville – literally, there was glowstone everywhere now – not even the sound of zombies could be heard, allowing all hermits who thought to find the comfort of their beds to have a peaceful awakening.
At least, for most of the sleeping hermits on the server, this was the case. For Wels, not so much.
The buzzing of his communicator woke Wels from his peaceful sleep. Groaning, Wels rolled over in his bed and blearily groped for the infernal device. Rubbing his eyes, Wels’ eyes flicked over the main chat to the two personal message chats that were blowing up his communicator.
Personal message from GoodTimesWithScar
[Scar] Wels vex alert!
[Scar]   bnghyt67sdzfgtyuopgtfjgkadsfxgchvjbknlm;,;lkjhaghjkl;’
[Scar] sorry Keloid licked my communicator

[Scar] wake up
[Scar] wake up
[Scar] wake up
[Scar] wake up
[Scar] wake up
[Scar] pls this jrt is hgh they took my elytea
[Scar] wake up
Personal message from Cubfan135
[Cub] Wels vex alert!
[Cub] Avarice is looking for you
[Cub] ohno your asleep arent you
[Cub] Wels wake up
[Cub] Avarice is destroying my villager center
[Cub] Wels
[Cub] Wels my poor villagers
[Cub] How are you still asleep?
[Cub] If I know Scar, and I know Scar, he is spamming you right now
[Cub] Wels please if not for me then do it for the villagers
[Cub] … Wels I know youre awake answer me where are you
There goes his opportunity to pretend to be asleep. Grumbling, Wels rolled out of bed and began preparing for his day. He wasn't in the mood for anything in particular at the moment. If anything, he wanted to go back to sleep. Grabbing his tool set and weapons, Wels headed for the door. Yawning, he almost forgot to put on his armour before he left his mansion.
Shuddering at the memory of his last round trip flight, he quickly doubled back to grab the most important piece; the helmet. Looking at the rest of his armour set, he shrugged. Where he was going, and especially who he was going to meet, he wouldn't need any armour. Shrugging on his elytra, Wels jumped from the highest window in his mansion, gliding lazily towards the portal tower.
As he flew, Wels opened his communicator and idly flipped through the general chat, trying to pinpoint what needed to face his wrath for waking him up so early (the zombies weren't even burning yet!)
Hermitgang

Any other day he would feel guilty for leaving the Concorp with their shadows. But today he was tired and feeling a tad bit petty. Landing before the portal, he shot a quick message into the chat.
[Wels] Tell them to meet me in the sand mesa temple. They know which
Not bothering to wait for a reply, Wels set his communicator on silent and strode into the portal, heading towards the 'meeting place'. Preoccupied as he was, Wels never saw the stray shadow on the floor that detached itself to follow after him.
~~~
Closing the door of the shadow temple, Wels began preparations to resummon Paladin. Reaching into the chest he had left, he pulled out an armour stand and climbed the podium, humming a sea shanty as he went. Placing the armour stand on the podium, he stepped back to make sure Paladin wasn't summoned quite that fast. He was not in the mood to deal with his ego today. Suddenly, he heard the door open and close behind him. That was fast. “Wait just a bit I’ll have your Shiny for you,” he yelled over his shoulder. Stepping forward, he prepared to summon Paladin and-
Wait. Keloid and Avarice don’t just, open and close doors. They smash them. The person behind him was not Keloid or Avarice. He turned-
and something slid across his throat, cutting off his breath.
Choking, Wels stumbled back, falling onto the stairs. Hands scrabbling at his throat, trying to close the wound, to breathe. Tilting his head to the side, he found an angle that let him breathe shallowly.
“Well, that wasn't what I intended, but it works great for my frustrations.”
Gasping, he looked up and met his bright blue eyed ambusher, idly tracing shapes in the air with its sword. Wels knew this shadow. He was so dead. Shakily, he drew his sword from his tool belt. His ambusher looked down at him through his visor and grinned, stalking forward.
“You think you can fight me as you are now? You make me laugh.” A snarl, and Apex was upon him, sword screeching against his own. Wels found himself struggling to push Apex away, to breathe, breath stolen in the face of a predator. “Good thing I need a laugh right now.”
Apex made a quick movement with its hand, sending Wels’ sword skittering up the stairs onto the podium. Wels barely managed to bring his arms up to block the next sword strike, wheezing in pain as it skittered off something hard. Pain ignored in the adrenaline, in the need to stay alive, Wels scrabbled backwards up the steps, forgetting his injuries, forgetting to breathe, anything to grab the precious sword that would give him a chance. Apex was advancing on him, he can't breathe, where is his sword?
His hand reached back, and he grabbed hold of something made of sticks.
His shadow bubbled, rising out of the floor to become 3D. Yellow eyes flickered open.
*Welsknight’s shadow has been summoned
Paladin stretched lazily, unaware of their surroundings. “Wels hey so about that death I...”
Apex stood before them, Wels on the floor at their feet. This was not normal. “What are you doing Apex?”
The shadow grinned at them lazily, sword in a resting position at their hip. “Why, just releasing some pent up frustrations on unsuspecting players. This doesn't concern you at all. Go back to those creatures you call shadows.”
They almost did. They didn't want to keep Keloid and Avarice waiting too long. But then they made the mistake of looking down.
Wels looked horrible. Paladin could see open wounds on his neck and arms, fresh from the fight. Wels’ breathing was shallow, but his eyes were hyper aware, shuddering between Apex and Paladin.
He looked cornered. Paladin took a step towards him, something tugging at the back of their mind. What was this emotion?
Apex snarled at them threateningly. “Are you challenging me little blacksmith? You’re nothing without your guard dogs following you.” Paladin’s shoulders hiked upwards at the nickname and they hissed in the way that Keloid and Avarice would when angry. Apex flinched at the noise, stabbing their sword downwards towards the floor to mask it, Wels’ whimper of pain going unnoticed in the tension. “You can fight me if you want blacksmith. But I’m not afraid of you.” The sword came back up to point at Paladin’s exposed chest. “You are nothing without those vex, and I will end you.”
They couldn't take those insults to his ability. Their ego did not want to allow it. But Paladin had survived this long with fewer deaths than expected because they knew when to quit. This was not a fight they could win, even if the pulsing knot in their chest rebelled. They stepped away from Wels.
Apex grinned, yellow smile flashing through the impossible corners of the temple. “Smart choice.” They moved, and Paladin’s eyes trailed downwards, locking onto Wels’ panicked ones. The knot in their chest grew tighter-
And in one stroke, they had grabbed a sword from the floor and stabbed Apex through the back with it.
Apex snarled in surprise, whirling around to face them. A clashing screech, and they were locked in combat. Paladin could see Wels dragging himself away from the corner of their eye and a strange relief filled them. Giving a threatening hiss-chirp back, blocked Apex’s blows, looking for an opening to exploit as their training with Wels kicked in.
Parry, parry, thrust, parry, parry, thrust
The rhythm kept them in the fight, preventing Apex from advancing while also retaliating. So it came as a surprise when Apex suddenly twisted its wrist and sent their sword flying to the opposite side of the room. Not wasting a beat, Apex leapt at them, sword swinging in a large arc that sliced across their neck. Paladin staggered backwards at the pain, only barely moving their head to the side to avoid a sword in their skull, sending a straight gash of light across their face. They click-snarled at Apex, whose grin only turned more predatory.
The next swing was intercepted by an axe, followed by a pickaxe which sliced across their chest. Apex barely stumbled as they charged forward yet again, pinning Paladin’s off-handed axe to the floor with one hand. Raising a foot, it was brought down with a snap!, breaking the weapon. A pickaxe at its shoulder brought their attention back to Paladin, and the cycle began anew.
Parry, parry, parRY, PARRY, PARRY
Slices on their arms, light and triangular particles spinning away. Paladin could feel panic start to settle deep in their bones as they fought. They had barely managed to keep themselves between Wels and Apex, but they knew this was a losing fight. A pickaxe was never meant to be a strong weapon against a sword, but they were determined. The knot in their chest would be too painful to bear otherwise they knew. They kept swinging and parrying, what choice did they have?
There is one choice for you dark one.
Bells and tinkling laughter. They knew who this was. The world around them paused, glowing a light blue like a badly rendered photo. They closed their eyes.
The sound of wings, of bells and tinkling laughter grew nearer. The intense sensation of being watched crawled beneath their skin, but they stood firm. They were made for the spotlight, it did not scare them one bit. Not even as the Vex arrived to speak to them again.
We can help you dark one. All you need to do is make a deal.
Keloid and Avarice had warned them more than enough for them to know that this was a bad idea. They snarl-growled at the unseeable entity before them. “No. Haven't I said this enough times? Go away.”
Ah, but you need help don’t you? Look at your summoner, so weak and fragile. We know that he won’t last once you go down.
That made Paladin falter slightly. “But he’ll respawn!”
Humming. But what if this time he doesn't? What then dark one, what then?
They were not thinking straight, they knew that, knew it in the shaking of their hands and the rush of adrenaline, the cold in their bones and the knot in their chest- no, the emotions in their chest that they didn't understand, emotions for their summoner; care? worry? They didn't know, everything was going so wrong-
Calm dark one. We can help. All you need to do, is ASK.
Paladin considered, actually thought about what was being offered. They needed help, they knew. They also knew that the Vex were strong and ancient. But the warnings…
“If I ask for your help, I want to know what I’m getting into first. No sneaky dealings of any sort.”
Laughing bells. If you insist. All we want is a chance to make a deal with your summoner. You will be the conduit to bring him to us.
“And if I don’t?”
You both won’t have a choice. One way or another we will find you.
Paladin ducked their head, opening yellow eyes to glance sideways at Wels. The man had pulled himself to a column. His shirt was ripped, used as makeshift bandages. Red. So much red. They made their decision.
“Alright, I’ll take your deal. Help me.”
Shattering music notes. What do you want us to give you, dark one?
There was no hesitation, the words drawn upwards out from him. “Power. I’ve been the damsel for long enough. Give me the power to protect my family.” They would have hesitated more, but that glance at Wels earlier had solidified a fiery resolve. They wanted to protect their family, and that included Wels whether he liked it or not.
Tinkling glass shards mixed with laughter as power stabbed its way into Paladin. Of course. Now, wake and face your opponent dark one, and remember our deal.
The blue fog faded, the staring spotlights died, the glass was swept away. It was as if the Vex were never there. But Paladin could feel the power rising in their chest, competing with guilt and worry and panic. With a roar, they released it into the air.
Apex stumbled backwards, the roar resonating through memories of darkness, birds, blue. Its grin became more of a grimace as they launched itself at Paladin again, only to be stopped by a sword. Where had they-?
Looking around, Apex noticed the glowing blue gauntlets floating in the air around Paladin. The gauntlets moved quickly, each hand grabbing the closest weapon. A blue cloak of the same colour had spawned out of nowhere and draped upon Paladin’s shoulders. Apex’s grimace flipped back into a feral grin. This was what a real challenge looked like.
They sprung into action, hacking away at each weaponed hand. With every hand that fell, another took its place. Every hit that did land bounced off the hard plating of the seemingly cloth-made cloak. But it soon began to tire, invisible strings softening its blows. No one else on the server had kept up with it this long, not even Killjoy. But shadows didn't tire, someone must be helping Paladin. Looking up, Apex met Paladin’s angered glare. But that didn't faze them at all.
What did faze them was the softly glowing blue streaks where they had sliced Paladin earlier. Apex hissed. Vex. That's where the blacksmith’s help had come from. They shuddered as the invisible threads cut deeper. Now that it knew what to look for, they could feel the Vex on its shoulders, weighing it down. It was time to cut their losses.
Apex faked a lunge at Paladin, taking the split second of Paladin being off-balance to make a run for the door. Turning back inside the doorframe, Apex took in the scene they had left. Red on the floor, pillars sliced into, Paladin running towards them.
And Wels was finally open. Apex grinned. Mechanically, they raised their arm, bringing out Biffa’s spare iron sword and threw it, slamming the door behind them.
Paladin howled, jumping to grab the sword. They knew they were too far away, but something carried their momentum forward and they grabbed the sword out of the air, tumbling onto the steps of the podium. They could feel the cloak folding behind them as it smoothed back out from whatever form it took. In that moment, all Paladin could do was breathe.
“Pal-adi-n?” The halting gasp of their name brought them back to the source of their current problem. Prying themselves off the floor, they hurried to Wels’ side, checking on his wounds. Wels was more concerned about other things, physically recoiling at the sight of the blue scars.
“Wha- di-you do?” The question came out gurgled, but understandable. Paladin could only helplessly reach for their summoner, voice pleading for understanding.
“I made a mistake so I could save you.”
Wels seemed to understand, allowing Paladin close to check on him even as fear swam in his eyes. “Vex” he hissed, before coughing painfully into Paladin’s chest. Paladin chirped soothingly as Avarice always did for them, even as the now known panic rose up yet again. Wels was in no condition to move right now. They could look for help, but what if Apex came back? They could try Wels’ communicator, but they had no idea which temple this was. They could be anywhere! What to do what to do what to do
A pricking in their arm brought them back to reality, grounding them. They cooed at Wels in confusion; they could sense no danger here.
Until they saw the lone Vex mob, sitting on the centre podium where shadows were summoned. It cocked its head at the bloodied knights below them, grin permanently stretched wide.
We told you we would find you. Tinkling bells, shattering laughter, a hundred gazes combined as one.
It's time to fulfill your end of the deal.
Blue particles, broken bells, the room bathed in a blue-purple glow as the knights held tight to each other; one protectively and one in fear. The bell tolled.
Not minutes later, Keloid and Avarice burst down the door to find the temple empty, clean of all signs of struggle and missing two fractured knights.
I’m in love with @mine-sara-sp‘s shadow au! So I wrote a thing! Featuring Wels having an up close encounter with the vex shadows for the first time
--
Wels had been on edge all afternoon. No matter where he went or what he was doing, it always felt like someone was watching him. He knew it wasn't Paladin, because he hadn't been summoned for over a week, mostly through laziness on Wels' part. Even when he was out at the mining mesa, it felt like there were eyes boring through him, despite no hermit being around for thousands of blocks. It was upsetting, and just about driving him mad.
Wels: Xisuma, I think there might be some glitches around
Wels: keep getting weird vibes :/
Xisuma: Hm, I'll have to look into it...
Xisuma: Anywhere in particular that's especially glitchy?
Xisuma: Wels?
Xisuma: Where are you?
Wels glanced over his shoulder, the phone tumbling form his fingers. He was petrified, eyes locked with the two pairs of blue eye sockets staring back at him- Avarice and Keloid, if he remembered right. Unmistakably unique from all the other shadows, the two vex's forms seemed to shift constantly, making them hard to look at directly. Their seemingly ever-present smiles were long gone now, and the anger flowed off them in waves. Wels was stunned silent- not that he had anything he wanted to say. They took a step forward in unison, seeming to relish the fear radiating from Wels.
"Where is it?" They hissed in unison, their voices piercing the silent air.
Wels gaped, unsure what to say and unable to say it.
"Where is the shiny?" They took a step closer.
"I- I don't-" Wels gasped, his knees trembling from the simple effort of standing. Something about these shadows was powerful and different than the others, and Wels hated it. Their energy was palpable, and it crushed Wels' lungs.
They hissed, static crackling and popping like the blue sparkles swirling around them frantically. "Tell us."
Wels slid down to his knees. "I don't know what you're talking about," he gritted.
The static grew louder, buzzing inside Wels' mind. "He knows, he knows."
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Wels cried, clamping his hand over his ears. The static was unbearable, Wels hated shadows like this, especially the vex. It was too much, too loud, too-
If static had a feeling, it was the feeling of their inhuman hands grabbing him forcefully, yanking him to his feet. His arms burned cold where they held him, now forcing him to stare straight into their empty blue eyes. It took everything Wels had not to scream in agony and fear, knowing it would just anger them more. Despite being terrified, he forced himself to hold his wits about him. This was one moment he was grateful for his knight training.
"You give us the shiny, you have to." With that, they took off, dragging Wels with them. It was horrifying being carried to who-knows-where by these unpredictable and dangerous creatures with no one close enough to save him, even if he did call for help. Their shifting forms allowed them to travel faster than normal, perhaps even faster than elytra with the strange blue wing-like blades swirling around Shadow Scar in a frenzy. He couldn't control the convulsing shivers across his body, but he restrained himself from trying to call for help when he knew there was none. This must have been their plan, to wait until he was all alone so they could kidnap him. Why him?! There were many dangerous shadows to be afraid of, but Wels only had a genuine fear of the vexical shadows, for obvious reasons.
They entered a cave in the side of the mesa without slowing their pace, navigating the winding tunnels with no hesitation. Wels was entirely confused until they rounded the corner, entering a summoning temple. This was the nightmare scenario. Surely they were going to force Wels to summon Paladin so they could turn his own shadow against him. Without loosening their grip on Wels' arms, which were now numb from the static, they handed him a crafting table and a few items, obviously intending for him to make the armor stand himself. Any dark stand could be used, but it was a lot easier to summon a shadow if the stand was made by the summoner. He had to admit, the vex were scary because they were powerful, but their intelligence was also a terrifying force to be reckoned with.
Wels slowly built the stand, placing it in the center of the alter-like platform. He threw one glance at shadow Cub, who gave him a menacing grin. "Give us shiny."
Wels shut his eyes, and touched the stand. All too familiar, the armor stand shuddered and dissolved under his touch, and the feeling of another presence entered the room. Wels watched as his own shadow jumped to life, clawing it's way out of the floor and into reality. Soon, a 3D model of Wels stood in front of them, which flared to life in a flash of yellow. His eyes opened, and a plume of golden feathers burst from his hat. With a thin smile, the shadow greeted Wels, but quickly turned it's attention to the vex behind him.
They had dropped their grip on Wels, which was greatly appreciated, and they approached Paladin slowly. Wels was tempted to stop them, to protect his shadow, but something about this exchange felt passive, so Wels tensely watched from afar.
"Hello gentleman, how may I assist you?" Paladin greeted them cordially, keeping a relaxed expression. He got that knightly trait from Wels, at least that's what he liked to imagine.
"Shiny, shiny," They crowed, seeming to vibrate with joy. They began herding Paladin towards the exit of the cavern, but Wels stepped in the way, seeming to surprise them. "Move."
"What are you doing?"
Avarice frowned, clearly not wanting to answer, but Keloid spoke up, the first time they hadn't spoken in unison since Wels had met them. "Bring Shiny to the safe place."
Wels took a moment to process the words, glancing at Paladin. He stood at ease, if not a little annoyed at Wels' interruption. He didn't seem to be phased by the vex in the slightest; even to the point of being more comfortable between the pair than with Wels. "Paladin, do you know what's happening here?"
"These vexations appear to believe I'm a treasure for their vault. They have been nothing but courteous, I assure you."
One glance at the vex confirmed Paladins words. They held his arms like they did to Wels on the way to the cavern, but the grip was loose and gentle. To Wels' surprise, the shadows' body language had opened up as well, their shoulders loose and smiles poking at the corners of their mouths. Wels could still feel the power radiating off them, but it wasn't directed at him anymore. Wels' knees were still weak from the terrifying trip here, reminding him of their anger not moments earlier, so he was still extremely wary of the powerful shadows, but Paladin's comfort placated him slightly.
"Well... How long will this take?"
The trio of shadows skewed their faces in sync. "What are you insinuating?"
Suddenly Wels felt outnumbered. His own shadow had turned against him quite suddenly, and he wasn't quite sure how to handle it. Of course this wasn't nearly as bad as some of the downright violent shadows like Jigsaw and Apex, but it certainly wasn't good either. If Paladin was teaming up with the vex shadows, who knows what might happen.
"How long have you been with them?" His voice came out shakier than he intended.
Paladin made an indiscernible face. "I do not know what you mean sire. Thrice in my last summonings they have held me hostage in their vault of gold. They seem to believe my helm is woven of true gold," Paladin explained, accompanied by the occasional nods from the vex.
"Wait, when did they kidnap you? I think I would have noticed if you disappeared randomly!" Wels ran a hand through his hair, the new information swirling around his mind. This would explain why the shadows know each other, and seem to be at least semi-friendly to each other.
This time it was Avarice who spoke up. "Very sneaky, take shiny when knight doesn't look."
This didn't clear much up for Wels, but the vex seemed to be growing more agitated. Blue triangles swirled through the cave, and Wels could feel their anger turning back to him. "Okay, okay. You can have him for now, as long as that's okay with you Paladin. Just take good care of him, okay?"
The vex made no indication to him, simply taking Paladin by the arms again and leading him away. Paladin threw one last glance over his shoulder, which was a mix of gratitude and smugness. What exactly that meant Wels wasn't sure, but he assumed the shadow shared one of his major flaws as well: pride. Being coveted as a treasure by the powerful shadows probably made Paladin feel good about himself, if not puff his ego a little more than needed. Wels could only hope that the excitement would wear off sometime, and his shadow would rejoin him soon.
For now, he had to find his own way back to Hermitville.
The Outside
@concorp inspired me. Nobody needs to accept this (everyone should), but the Child Scara au is so. Freakin’. Good.
Anyhoo, without further ado...
Life was good in Hermitville. Scara knew not to leave the bounds of the village, or zombies or worse would get her. But still, things got lonely. Scar was always off terraforming his home islands, and those were too dangerous for Scara to visit.
The epiphany happened one evening. Scara was poking around the illager church, when she realised she had never seen a single illager. She hadn’t seen much of anything, in fact. So she made up her mind: she’d go exploring.
She slipped through the bamboo that plugged the hole Scar’s rocket ship had left in the wall. Nobody knew the way through, but at least she knew halfway. The bamboo accepted her as a plant, just like it, so it mostly just got out of her way. As she looked out into the spruce forest that surrounded Hermitville, she smiled. So this is what unexplored lands looked like.
She ran through the forest, wind blowing through her leafy hair. She ran into a fox, and spent a good while chasing after it. And then she noticed it was getting cold. Looking at the sky, she saw the moon starting to rise. She started to head back home, before realising she didn’t know the way.
She was lost. Scara suddenly realised the situation. She was lost, she was tired, she was alone, and she didn’t know what to do. So she did the only thing a young plant-creature would do in this situation. She sat with her back against a tall spruce tree and cried.
And then an arrow thudded into the tree, right next to her ear.
She stood up and ran from the skeleton, only to find a nest of zombies. They turned towards her, and began staggering in her vague direction. She turned once more, and ran. Just as she thought she was safe, she heard a hissing noise. And then a bang.
She hit the ground hard, several meters from the crater. She saw herself surrounded by a ring of pillagers, coming closer and closer. She drew her wand, or at least tried to. It was missing. She’d left her wand at home. A crossbow bolt whooshed past her, ripping her hat. She hissed at the pillagers, lashing out with a vine, but they just laughed, cutting it.
Out of plans, she did the only reasonable thing left. She screamed at the top of her lungs.
Meanwhile, in the skies above...
Scar flew wildly over the forest. Where was Scara? When he’d come back to an empty Hermitville, he’d assumed the worst, and was holding on to the slight chance that Scara was okay. But she’d left her wand. She never left her wand anywhere.
He was about to give up when he heard a terrified scream. Scar turned in the air, and dove towards where he’d heard it. He landed in a nearby tree, and surveyed the situation. There was Scara, surrounded by pillagers. She was obviously terrified, and in a lot of pain. Scar saw red.
With the passion and fury of a thousand Scars, he leapt down from the tree to defend Scara. He drew his sword, casting a spell on it as he fell. He stabbed at the pillagers nearest where he stood, casting a shield around Scara. He looked another pillager dead in the eye, and the whole patrol ran off.
Scar walked over to Scara, removing the protection spell. She hugged him, crying from relief and fear.
“I’m sorry, I’m so sorry...” She whispered.
“I know. It wasn’t your fault. You’re just curious.” Scar handed Scara her wand as he spoke. “Look, how about I take you on a tour of the island... next week?”
Scar picked Scara up, and flew back to Hermitville. He tucked Scara in, and went to bed himself, completely worn out.
Calm before the storm pt 2
I'm back again with more SPAU
I have made more soft leviathan and Shadoc cause I need to balance out all the angst
this one needs no warnings other then fluff and comfort feels
    He sighed at the bland bricks around the room, he may be a master trap builder but his decorative skills were very weak.  There were a few weapons and chargers he had stolen from Doc and a few sheets of music that Solo had given him and Clamour and a painting of a creeper peeking over a dune.  Shadoc never said anything about it though so he must have done something right or so horribly wrong.
    ‘Where is Shadoc?’ He sat up where he was and thought for a moment.  Shadoc and him had parted ways in hermanville but it was more of him just leaving the underdeveloped monument to a place he never knew.  Shadoc told him all about places on the old server and how the old hermitville had houses reaching to the sky and a plant similar to the one there now, he said the other plant was way bigger and cooler though…  Back on track! Whenever he and Shad hung out he would always leave first while his mirror would just continue to sit there as if for the end of time. Thinking on it he didn’t actually know where Shadoc stayed.  Puzzler made his infernal home in a sprawling city that seemed to rise from the ground from nowhere with one entrance and an expansive maze built to confuse. Tripwire and Red stayed with him, he was starting to suspect they were his lackeys.  Joyfull stayed with joe in small camps. Nobody could miss the volcano the hoarders had made in a day and filled with riches. Clamour lived on a cliff and solo made camps near every residence of more than one shadow.
    But he has no clue where to find his… Brother, for all intents and purposes he had no way to find him if something went wrong.  With that goth disaster threatening people for loyalty he should really find out where he stayed. Since he never spoke about it he should probably ask him next time he sees him.
“Freedom la la la la freedom follow me, Freedom la la la la freedom follow me. Cut it!”
    He hummed and air guitared as he walked along the gravel streets of spawn,  It had a very open feeling with a few stater homes scattered with a few humble shops.  The shopping district was in the distance with a lot more buildings and foot traffic. He and his brother in origin decided to meet up and head to day care.  He wasn't fond of daycare at first, it seemed childish with all the blankets and shadows choosing to sleep.
    Another reason he was so stunned when shadoc brought a shadow with a pair of chords and one with a guitar, Clamour and Solo.  Solo had played don’t mine at night somehow and he couldn't help but run up with him and join cause how could he not? Its a bop.  Clamour proved his mettle with one hell of a chorus.
    They were good friends of his now and he actually enjoyed spending time at the daycare with Shadoc and them now.  The other hated when Clamour was there but they wouldn't have to worry about this time. It was just him and Shad, he needed to ask about his base.
“Heya my clumsy companion.” He swung himself into a curtsy when he created his opposite.
“SHArk- ha hey Levia-nathan” Shadoc looked at him with mirth while he pushed himself off the side of the light shop
“Levia-tha-niel Levia-nathan what's next a Levi-O-Sa joke?  Im wounded”
“A what?” Shadoc and I walked down towards a dock that lead to a very small rock and wooden castle with ice creeping up the sides.  His mirror always looked at it kinda funny like he had deja vu. He didn't bother to ask he had other questions.
“Hey,  Where is your base? I know where most of the season 7 shadows live but i’ve known you  better then even all of them and i have no idea where to find you other then running into you?”
    He watched for a reaction from the corner of his eye as he clinked down the dock, he did not see the response he was hoping for.  No realisation, embarrassment, or goofy smile. Justa deer in the headlights expression that made him want to keel over or shred whatever put such a vulnerable look on his face.  But that would be him.
“Uuuuuhhhhhhm hmmm,  I-I live s-somewhere?...”
    He stops and flips on him and steps in front of him.  This is no longer a conversation for daycare. Shadoc stumbles to a stop and his scarred arms twitch as he shifts backwards on one leg and holds his arms slightly in front of himself… He has to be careful about this, or he’ll run.  He straightened himself out from his hunch so he looks less predatory and relaxes where he stands across from his mirror.
“Thats bull-shit and we both knew it the moment you said it.”  He was worried now… Did.. did he not make a place? Why wouldn't he?
“...”
“Shadoc…  It’s alright if you don't want to tell me why but at least tell me you have a place? Even for a shadow not having a safe place can be very risky… Your not normally risky.”
“I- I stay with solo sometimes? O-or joe or cleo”
“Solo lives in a tent.. That works for him because he stay near everyone's bases and joe is constantly exploring and camping out in shacks.. Cloe lives on a goddamn boat!  Have you never thought to make your own place for you?’
“I tried once.  It didn't go well… I'm no good at building and jigsaw had it out for me at the time.  I haven't tried since” Shadoc had calmed down after he saw the worry on his face and realised there was no hostility.
“Rain check.  No daycare today we have a place to build”
    Leaves and vines draped down from rock and moss,  a giant maw of a great beast stood forever preserved in stone.  Two black wisps skirted around it from all sides to rise and leave material only to slip away again.  Piles of lanterns, fences and item frames laid around and sun bounced off the latches of chests and water steaming through the dense woods.
    A leaf drifted down onto the stone reptile and a shadow slunk up and brushed it away while setting a lantern into the socket of the skull where a wooden floor could be seen held up like rafters.  The other wisp seems sluggish and tired. Like he was missing something.
    Leviathan had swept past and asked clamour what would go good with a giant homey stone skull.  He had pointed him in the direction of an older shadows house. Russy he thinks he was called? He looked at how the house was built before getting an idea and racing 2d all the way to his base to get material and go back to where Shadoc was clearing space.
    The two of them had spent days isolated in the jungle building a skeleton of some sort of dragon and filling it with wooden floors a fireplace coming out one eye and a bedroom full of comfy stuff and carpets in the other eye while down the ribs there was room for storage and a small open bungalow with shelves and beds under one wing that was full of parrots and cats they had tamed while building.  Shadoc liked them and he thought the cats were awesome.
“Thanks…  I don't think I ever would have done this at all on my own.”
He smiled for next to him was a sun
“Of course, I haven't built anything like this before but it feels right.  I care about you too much to let you wander the world with no place to come back to.  No home. Ya know?’
“Yeah.  I've had a home for a long time though.  It just moves and sings obnoxiously a lot. Ya know?’ his mirror smiles brightly with a yawn of a sleepless creature.
...
Another cliff hanger for today. I'll make more soon again and I'll post art of Shadocs new base soon!!
Drawing Grian for this old au i made years ago that i wanna bring back, info on the au under the cut :) it's like a real world but with secret magic society thrown in
Tumblr media
Info on my little au 💖 its unnamed for now so i'm using hermitville as a stand in (it was what i called the town in the old au)
The au involves esmp, hermitcraft and traffic smp (originally it was just hermitcraft). Most are still college students that are almost graduated, including Grian himself.
Magic is a normal part of the world, especially the town that theyre in called Hermitville. It's just not a known part about society, and the creatures with these abilities keep it on the down low.
Grian himself accidentally got caught up with a certain group of people, making him different to his friends then he used to be. They knew him as their always upbeat friend, but nowadays he always seems tired and like small things would be enough to upset him. Honestly they just want to get the old Grian back. But that kinds throws them in a lot of magical shit, where theyre forced to confront things they didnt know were real
Things in The Creatures of Hermitville
Some Headcannons of my au & some ship info for my au too
dieing results in respawning with a new scar
TNT explosions, even if there’s no death, can result in a scar depending on how bad the explosion is
False and Grian learned the hard way
False was 14, trying to build a TNT cannon to impress Ren and Doc, and get them to pay attention to her.
Has a scar exploding out from the middle of her back and onto her featherless wings, her wing casing hide it.
Ren and Doc are extremely worried about False, constantly
Even before the two added her to their relationship
Grian doesn’t like to worry Mumbo
Scar gets pouty when he’s trapped at the ConCorp headquarters waiting for his stabilizers to charge.
Scar just wants to work on his pirate islands
When Tango gets into an argument with Zedaph and Impulse, he ends up sulking in the lava lake in the Nether
It takes 5 fire resistance potions for Impulse/Zedaph to get to him and drag him back home
Ariana Griande is Grian’s cousin
Grian secretly liked being a succubus
And yes he is ‘borrowing’ like 10 more of that potion in case of emergency
What kind of emergency?
He doesn’t know
Zedaph, Impulse, and Tango tend to spend their time hanging out in Tango’s underground oasis base
Iskall likes to leave roses at Stress’s base
Stress made a sculpture of Iskall and her out of Ice.
Cleo likes to make dioramas, and Wels just enjoys watching her, listening to her as she tells the story of her dioramas.
Grian and Ren are terrified of storms.
cue boyfriends having to cuddle them the entire storm
Ren will absolutely chase a stick
False and Grian have flying races
Grian wins 90% of the time
Joe wrote a book of poems
Grian hates being underground
Grian develops a very bad habit of scratching when he’s overstimulated, stressed, nervous, anxious, etc
It’s worse after the Civil War
Bad Habits you say?
Mumbo has a tendency to get redstone all over himself when he’s thinking he flips his anxious lever
Iskall has legit eaten slime balls
Ren will act more like a dog, scratching behind his ear with his foot, barking, go full on dog mode.
Doc will just fiddle with his electronic bits. Ren has walked into the stock exchange and found Doc unconscious because doc accidentally screwed up his electronics and knocked himself out
false gets dangerously adventurous
Stress, when overwhelmed, will freeze everything in a 20 block radius.
Cleo will ramble on about armor stands
Impulse will start munching on gold nuggets
Tango has drank a bucket of lava on a dare, and now does it for fun
What? Lava tasted good
Zedaph has accidentally become encased in his vines, and Tango had to save him
Cub will get super focused on a task
Scar will be building and forget to check his stabilizers
Jevin when startled, just becomes a puddle
There we go, hope you enjoy
Any suggestions? Let me know! I’m always up for suggestions! :3
