Centuries after two cups defeated the devil and freed the citizents of the inkwel isles, they became legends, then myths. Now they are stories being retold to every child, every piece of media and even other isles.
Among these other isles was one special isel. Hermitville.
An isle, that was recklesly ruled by beings that called themselves "hermits".
Some say, the hermits were the ones that created Hermitville. Some say the hermits... come from another dimesion.
Though the Hermits' rule was not a mercyful one.
They took the land of people to build their huge buildings.
They destroyed deserts and made mountains appear overnight.
They bearly listened to the peoples pleas.
Hermitville needed a hero to defeat these beings of power.
A blank slate of a creature walked into Hermitville one day. No eyes. No mouth. No color. Only a Y/N plastered on their white body.
They were the hero Hermitville needed.
The creature met with a creature made out of the galaxy itself. Some people called this galaxy creature "X".
The white slate of a person, made a deal with the floating galaxy.
"If I can win against all of the Hermits, you move away and give everything back to the people you stole from."
X nodded. A green aura overtook the both of them.
The deal was sealed

the fight was long and bloodied; in the end the isle was destroyed under the oppressive might of the fighters. the hero could only retreat, defeated, from the battle unable to save the people of the isle but instead doomed them to death.
little did the hero know that the isle was destroyed on purpose to let the hermits build on a fresh slate. the hero only provided an excuse to the carnage; it was inevitable. maybe one day the isle will be saved.

not sure if this is something you can do but I thought I’d check here because you are The Xisuma Guy, could you list what you’d call the most notable personality traits / habits of xisuma and some common speech patterns of his? just for a characterisation thing I’m working on! no worries if not
first of all, i very much appreciate the complement ^-^ and hopefully i can be of some help ^-^
now i will preface this with the fact that i havent done much in way of writing xisuma so im mainly going off of what ive picked up in his videos/streams and in fics ive read that i think work really well ^-^
very important is that xisuma is a bit of a derp, he does silly things sometimes. he is very knowledgable in the game but sometimes he just does something very silly (see xisuma fully making a farm/smelter thing to make charcoal blocks just to realize that charcoal blocks are a modded thing) (also see xisuma getting way more obsidian than he would ever need, resulting in a double derp moment)
also very important to include some sassy coments or sarcastic comments in his dialogue. this can really be seen in some of the interations xisuma has with his chat during streams (a moment that immediatley comes to mind for me is the 'pearl's junk shop' moment)
i would definetly recommend watching some of his videos from the hermit x empires crossover or some HHH streams to get a good idea of his dynamic with other people. his episode where he spawned withers with cub etho and tango in the deep dark is also a good one for that ^-^
another trait i would include is that xisuma is very appreciative of the hermits builds/redstone machines. some great examples of this would be doc's TCG anvil cannon, beef's hermitcraft TCG, and pixlriff's copper aging machine
when talking xiusma does a lot of crouching and punching. and when he is listening to someone else he does a lot of crouching as well
i also found some posts that have common phrases and typing characteristics of xisuma in them ^-^

reindeer tango.
You, see this actually happens in canon. Well, not fully, Tango's winter outfit features a Santa hat with reindeer antlers and we thought of a reindeer tango. So here's a little head cannon we whipped up all the way back in December 2020. Here's the episode this idea was based off of.
It's Christmas time, Tango's building a giant fire place to give each hermit a gift. As he goes, he notices his head is feeling kinda heavy... Not in the sleepy, stayed up too late figuring out redstone kind of way, either! Although, he is all comfy cozy in his winter outfit.
Tango has his work cut out for him, though. He has to find suitable presents for all the hermits. There's a lot of hermits, so he's working hard to collect enough for everyone.
Which is when, eventually (because, look, nobody's called Tango observant, have they), he notices an odd pressure against his hat. He attempts to take it off, fails, so looks at his hazy reflection on a sheet of ice. The fake, felt antlers on the side of his hat have somehow hardened into bone, and fused to the side of his head. It's not the most comfortable thing in the world, but weirder things have happened on the Hermitcraft server. So, he brushes it off. They'll fall off eventually. If they really start to bother him he can go ask an admin to remove them. But for now they fit the festive spirit just fine! He can sacrifice a bit of neck pain.
Once it's stayed that way for a few days, with nothing else happening, he stops worrying that something else will pop up.
Of course, as fate has it, that's when his eyes start glowing red. Zedaph laughs comparing him to Rudolph. Which is fair. Kind of. Tango is delivering presents to everyone, so it sorta fits. But Tango makes sure to tease him mercilessly about thinking Rudolph's eyes glowed (even if Zed only said it for the joke. What's the point of friends if you can't tease them?)
They keep coming after that. His ears shift, until they too poke out of the hat. The fur on them is very soft, though. Tango won't admit how long he spends stroking them. After that is his legs, which takes a bit more getting used to. His face and torso remaining human. Not that it helps him when he keeps falling over.
But, it's fine. It fits with the holiday season theme. He gets used to it and continues working.
And next thing he knows, he's grazing in the snow and doesn't even realize it until someone pulls him out of it.
Keralis is looking at him with disappointment etched in his features that's enough to make Tango's ears droop. So he swaps to joking around, doting over Tango's changes and points out the little tail tango now has. It twitches when poked. Keralis takes advantage of that far more than he should. Eventually, with a sigh, Keralis tells him he should probably think about getting his data fixed up.
Tango can't help but agree. This was fun for a bit but it's getting out of hand. He promises to speak with Xiusma in the morning.
But who's to say, just how much can change in one night?

After seeing that Fundy commented on Etho's newest modded episode, I will now ramble about my Hermit! and 3rd Life!Fundy and Etho headcanons because I have quite a few :)
I actually have two Hermit!Fundy AUs, one is where Fundy gets dropped into season 9 after jumping off the bridge, the other he wasn't kidnapped by Sally and never went to the DSMP.
For my own sanity, Hermit!Fundy is the first one and BTNH!Fundy is the one where he was raised in Hermitcraft :)

Hermit!Fundy and Etho has to fight over Bdub's basement. Fundy saw small, cramped, safe space and Etho wanted to cause a bit of chaos. Bdubs forced them to share the space.
Their dynamic is basically 'talks a lot & listens'. It goes both ways, sometimes Fundy will ramble excitedly about redstone and Etho just listens to the kid, while other times Etho will explain his newest idea and Fundy will listen in awe.
Following that, sometimes Bdubs joins in and then it becomes way more chaotic. Not explaining.
You'd think after their first meeting, they might not be on the best of terms, but less then a week after the fight over who gets the basement, they both decided to check out each others progress.
Fundy stims quite a lot, usually with buttons or levers. Etho decided to make Bdubs get some fidget toys for the poor hybrids.
If Ren and Tango helped Fundy accept his hybrid side and his trauma, Etho and Bdubs helped Fundy reclaim his lost childhood.
Etho often teaches Fundy advanced redstone, as this fox loves it but most redstone on the DSMP is very basic and the prison has a very paranoid warden.

BTNH!Fundy was whitelisted mid-season 5, shortly after the nHo disbanded. Before that he was a visitor and often hung out with Ren and the nHo. No one knows why Fundy was attracted to the jungle crew, but he was.
When season 7 started and Etho joined, Fundy was the first to run up and give the ninja a hug. Before demanding an answer for why Etho missed season 6.
Fundy joined the Mycelium Resistance in part because he didn't agree with Scar about the grass, but also because Ren and Etho were on that side.
Fundy's base in close to both Ren and Etho's bases. He often just sleeps over at one of the two.
Fundy likes to sneak into Etho's base to look at redstone. Etho knows about this and lets the hybrid think he's sneaky.
In season 8, Fundy lived with Ren, but there was not a week where he wasn't at Etho's at least once.
For almost two months after season 9 started, Fundy spend most of his time at spawn, waiting for his friend. He only gave up when Etho messaged him saying that he'd join in a few weeks.
He was still there when Etho logged on, right at spawn.
These two should be banned from interacting with their watchers, as they both either ignore them or torment them. No inbetween.
Fundy and Etho are also banned from shopping together. Neither of them have any sort of impulse control.
("But X, I wanted the stuffed axolotl!"
"No, please, I am going to make Ren watch you two."
"X, that is not fair."
"Etho, you have a shopping addiction and Fundy's fox instincts make him get anything that catches his attention."
"... You know what, maybe it is fair...")

3rd Life!Fundy first came across the refuge party, joined them and then stayed with the village people. He got very attached to Etho pretty fast.
He ended up following the village people to visit Dogwarts and found Ren.
He didn't actually expect Etho to join Dogwarts, but was pretty happy about it. Now he had both people he got attached too on the same team!
He lost his green life from Scar pushing him down a cliff after blowing up Ren. Fundy had a pretty bad panic attack after that and Etho was the one who helped him calm down.
Fundy tried to save Etho from the desert people, causing him to lose his yellow life.
Fundy died just after Etho in the battle of Dogwarts, in the exact same way. Shot by a flaming arrow from Impulse.
Both Etho and Ren may have forced Xiusma to whitelist Fundy after 3rd Life. Fundy joined for season 8 and stuck close to both Etho and Ren via elytra.

A few seasons ago Xisuma let the other Hermits call him dad if they wanted to.
So everytime Hermits get lost (mostly Grian, Zedaph and Bdubs) and someone asks for a parent of guardian of some sorts they either just point at X who is looking for them and just happend to find them at that moment or he get's as call through his comm that's from outside the Hermitcraft world.
Ex (Evil Xisuma) after a lot of bugging from the gremlins let the Hermits call them some sort of non-binary term of uncle once they found it.
They love their dad and pibling, though most of the hermit who aren’t a gremlin still calls Xiusma and Ex dad and pibling because they do a great job at motherhening them

i heard we were giving out headcannons so let me just casually raise you this:
mumbo actually has changed nothing about his physical appearance, he just has a tiny potato he controls via remote control
there's a bug in the code that he and X haven't figured out yet though so occasionally it just starts doing an Irish tap dance
The potato was supposed to be a short, day-long experiment about small robotics that Cleo gave Mumbo because he was bothering her too much in her lab. Now, there's a semi-sentient potato with tiny legs and arms that terrorizes people all around the Hermit Craft. Cleo is laughing, Xiusma is incredibly tired, and the only person Mumbo can reasonably blame is himself.

(Enderman Xisuma Headcanon) When he has to go to big events or be around large groups of people Xiusma will sometimes wear a blindfold to make sure none of the other Hermits accidentally make eye contact with him.
The mask works fine for everyday use, but it's not exactly the best for formal events. He has a collection of thin, nice looking blindfolds with intricate patterns on them to wear when he wants to look more distinguished. They shield his eyes enough that accidental eye contact won't make him uncomfortable, but he can still see through the fabric enough to navigate.
