In that time, Christopher turns his head so his eyes settle on Buck’s and this time Buck doesn’t push away the need to shelter him, he embraces the feeling just as he embraces Christopher, one arm wrapping around Christopher’s shoulders. Christopher leans his body against Buck, and Buck’s heart soars and hurts in equal measures.

Buddie has made me fall in love with the friends to fiancés trope! I never liked it before, but it just fits them so well that I came around on it! I also think there can never be enough Just One Bed fics.

i refuse to entertain the concept of mcd so the first one is exes to lovers, the kind where it’s been years and you genuinely, sincerely think you’re over it but then the light hits the window in a certain way and spotify puts your song on shuffle and— maybe you’re not entirely over it after all, and oh shit, that’s the doorbell, and he’s here to go over plans for christopher’s eighteenth birthday party, and he’s older now but every line of his face is so familiar and it takes everything in you not to reach out and trace them, and after he leaves you lie in the middle of the living room floor staring up at the ceiling and you remember.

the second one is. hm. eddie coming out and starting to talk about going on dates with men, and buck wondering why that makes him Feel Things, and he works it out just in time to show up at eddie’s door just as eddie’s leaving for his first date. so he’s like well i can’t say anything now, i’m too late, and he keeps telling himself he’s too late until. idk external circumstances force his hand maybe someone almost dies, and it turns out eddie was only ever dating other men in an effort to get over him

the book that disappointed me the most was people we meet on vacation by emily henry. it was SO hyped and then i read it and it was just. meh. i didn’t like the main characters and i wasn’t rooting for them to end up together. 0/10

because of the above the book that surprised me recently was book lovers by emily henry because i wasn’t expecting anything from it because i gated people we meet on vacation but it was a JOY. genuinely one of my favourite books I’ve read this year so far

a tv show i loved and then ended up hating is the 100. oh man. it was the BEST show and then it wasn’t and i went from moving it so much to just hating it rapidly. they ruined that show.

my whole life is an embarrassing anecdote 💜 but here’s a specific one: my first internship was in quite an Important place so like full scale airport security to even enter the building and one morning i for some godforsaken reason put a whole smoothie down on the X-ray belt and it obviously tipped over and spilled everywhere and i ended up shutting down an entire security queue during the busiest week ever and for the duration of my internship they greeted me by saying “hello smoothie girl” so. yeah. i wanted to die

YES you sure can!!! I've shared at least one snippet of this for 7ss but it's your basic Taylor-keeps-the-apartment-in-the-breakup AU and Buck stays with Eddie and Chris. And then Eddie comes out. And then Buck has a Feelings Realization that he decides he can't act on because Eddie Is Still Figuring Himself Out and Buck Just Got Out of a Serious Relationship And Thinks He Needs to Be Single for a While and ALSO, like, They Are Living Together. So there is just a painful amount of domestic pining happening. I have SO little of this actually written but there is One Scene in Particular I can't WAIT to tackle.
