This guy I went to grad school with said that I was the smartest girl he had ever met. And it wasn't in a demeaning way to other women or because he wanted something, it was just in a "I'm in awe of you" way and "you're going places" way. And idk, we're used to hearing compliments from family members or close friends, but the way he said it, almost as it was a fact, it was really sweet and made me believe him.

aw man it’s a long story and idk where to even start. I’ve kinda always called him that??? our personalities are similar (not the same obvi) and there’s a quote from wuthering heights that says “whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same” and that kinda kickstarted it. my thing for him has also always been the red string of fate because I know that our paths will never cross and like I don’t expect to ever meet him but it’s nice to think that he and I are still connected if even just by an invisible thread. it’s mostly a joke I don’t think he’s actually my soulmate obviously but it was just a cute thing for him that I’ve always done

Idk why but for some reason last night I had a dream that I hugged Kylian Mbappe and it was so fucking warm and sweet and my God my lonely ass needs a whole lotta that in real life.

lil life update: went to a party last night got v drunk and I danced w a boy to mamma mia songs and he like spun me and i think it was cute but idk what he looked like and then I tried to kiss him but he was like lol ur drunk u need to be sober for this and I was like okay

he never replied. I am overthinking a lot over here. But also, I honestly am like okay XD No answer is an answer and like issokay. I just hope we won’t be awkward and stay good friends.

was feeling a bit down yesterday, because we had a team council session and it ended with a small exercise: We had to write down two wishes for the next year and keep the circle going with calling a teammember and say something nice to them ... like “XY, I thank you for your hard work and calm nature.”

and they forgot me. 17 people in this room and they forgot to name me. It was super awkward, because our supervisor had to say “Ey, you forgot someone.” and everybody suddenly remembered

so, naturally... I felt like shit, because I’m far too sensitive about such things. 

and boyfriend sent me a long message about why he would have picked me (you’re smart and pretty and you have a huge heart and you’re a nerd and you love cats and cuddling and you have a pretty smile... and more of that) and I started to cry, because I’m super not used to THAT.
