Does having a card with you guys hurt you guys in any way? I want to get a card, but I don't know that I'll use it much/at all because I just don't read as much as I used to.

Hi! Not everybody can read all the time, but if you think you might or would like to read even just a handful of books through us (especially if you’re not able to find them elsewhere), then by all means please do. who knows, you may end up reading more just because you have a QLL library card! You can also always browse our collection from our website before getting a card if you want to explore what things we have that you’d be interested in checking out before you actually go ahead and get a card.

While it’s true we do have somewhat limited amount of patrons we can accept, we’re currently only halfway to hitting that ceiling. We’re hoping that by the time we do hit it, we’ll have fundraised more, so that we can simply raise that ceiling instead of turning anyone away.

hi ziggy <3 life is hard in general but today is sunday and i got dnd later so i'm actually okay right now :3

The game im playing is project zomboid where u play as a lonely little human who is trying to survive in the zombie apocalypse and i love to find a good house for a base and then start filling it up with stuff and trying to learn as many skills as i can (I'm even doing my best to learn farming and car mechanics this time, even though i think theyre boring) but uh yeah u go around looting buildings and build things and kill zombs and stuff and its very fun! I love to collect trinkets and other things, to put up around my house so it's all comfy cozy :) (my fave things to collect are teddy bears but i dont find them very often... in my current base i only have two so far...) how are you doing? i havent been on tumblr much so idk what you might be into rn, but id love to hear about it?

My grandad sadly passed away and my family and pretty useless so I’ve been just trying to organise everything on top of looking after my little sister. It’s just a lot. Haven’t had much time to write or post anything, you know? Haven’t even had much time to grieve with everything going on and then my job on top of all of that.

I miss writing and stuff but I need to take some time to sort stuff out and finally grieve.

HI! classes are good! i’m working full time as a social media manager for a retail store and i’m also taking medical coding and billing classes on the side… so yknow, ya girls busy 💅

but after almost two years out of school, it feels so good to get back into studying and learning.

this is my kitty, his name is egg! he’s my special little grumpy boy 🥰 but fr i got super lucky. he’s very sweet, cuddly, and smart. he was already litter box trained so i didn’t have to worry about the smell of cat pee on my carpets lol. and the only time he’s mad at me is when i don’t let him tear up my socks 💀

Hiya Goat! Yeah, I'm back. I probably *shouldn't* be, but I'm back.

Things have been...rough lately. I got hospitalized last month for my mental health issues, which was not fun and arguably made things worse. I at least was able to start intensive outpatient this past week, so hopefully that'll help a bit.

School has been hard; I've been struggling to keep up with my classwork in general, and I'm taking today off to catch up on classwork (it helped that my cramps were super bad when I woke up this morning, so it probably wouldn't have been the best idea to go to class anyway). I'm trying not to give up, but it's been really hard sometimes.

Also, "Double" is coming out in less than a week, and I am mildly dreading it because *gestures at the fandom and especially Mikoto's fandom*. Mikoto deserves a break and a boba tea, jeez.

Genuinely, thanks for checking in. It means a lot to me when someone cares enough to message me and ask how I'm doing.

i submitted locke lamora last night before reading the PSA, i believe he fits most of the criteria but he HAS killed (iirc, it's been a while since i've read the series tbh) but not bystanders, and unfortunately has def tortured someone lmao. would he be disqualified?

given that several people have submitted him, we’re unsure tbh. from his description on his wiki it sounds like he’s more of a conman than a thief, which is also an issue, so overall we’re leaning towards vetoing him, but it’s not hard and fast yet. we’ll see when submissions close - maybe we’ll need to fill a spot, and he would be a decent candidate since he was nominated like 5 times so far!

When I am cooking at home, I avoid anything that has eggs or is avian in nature, because I do not want to offend my birds. If I am out eating, I will eat about anything. As of the time answering this question, there is no specific word for someone who does not eat avian or avian product.

🍺 - Cheers! What is your character’s favorite alcoholic beverage?  What was the last thing they got smashed off of?

I suppose when it comes to drinks that I am not accompanying with a full meal, I do enjoy either cognac or cinnamon whisky if I feel I can have something harder. Otherwise, I will either reach for a pinot noir, or a sauvignon blanc.

I am doing well. I am quite busy with work and uni (mainly uni), but it’s more good busy than bad. I haven’t had as much time to write as I would like, which is truly unfortunate… But I am hoping to have more time later this week! Hello! All went well, we had a great closing night on Friday!

It was definitely a tear-filled night though-

Once I got backstage and started taking off my costume I started crying 😅 I was just heartbroken to be retiring my character! I'd gotten to attached in such a short amount of time, and I wasn't ready for the show to be over 🥲

But our cast party was great! We watched part of the Legally Blonde movie, had snacks and pizza, and then went to a park to goof off... unfortunately we were too loud and a cop (who was fairly nice about it) kicked us out 😂

I’ve been doing a lot better! Im on day 9 and I really only want to smoke at night and before I eat but overall I’ve been feeling really good! I’m just so sleepy I have not slept great the past week and a half lol🥹🤍

I know it’s silly cause it’s just weed but I’ve been able to realize how dependent I’ve become and how not present I’ve been in my life & esp my relationship so it’s been a really good experience so far which I was not expecting.
