what do you think sirius likes about remus the most and the least (personality-wise)? and vice versa
i think sirius’ favourite thing about remus is his kindness. he always wants to help people and do good, and to sirius, who hasn’t grown up in that kind of environment, it’s truly remarkable. however, he’s not exactly a fan of remus’ running away from his problems. sirius is a firm believer of facing one’s problems, and remus does exactly the opposite of that.
on the opposite note, that is what remus loves about sirius; his bravery, his courage, his ability to take a stand and say what he believes in. (he also adores how intelligent sirius is, and how they never run out of topics to discuss.) he’s quite wary of sirius’ recklessness; he has the tendency to do things that aren’t exactly well-thought, and remus is never sure what would happen.

HELLO
I’m here to bother you because I have a question >:D
What do you think happened to Jack’s parents?
There’s never been any mention of them really.
Istg if this has already been answered in the books and I’ve skipped over it 😭
HEY!
It hasn’t been mentioned!
This is actually a very good question, considering Jack’s school is a boarding school, so his usual residence would be the Graysmark School for Bright Young Men, but he does mention that he’s been living at the Deucalion for “the past few years”, so it’d be safe to assume that he straight up doesn’t have another home, or at least, that he doesn’t go there.
I think the most popular theory is that he’s an orphan, since there’s no real mention or name for his parents, but I’d like to propose an alternative that’s a tad bit angstier: due to his knack, which we know he dislikes, his parents sent him over to Jupiter, so that they wouldn’t have to deal with it.
Allow me to elaborate on this. When we first meet Jack, he immediately dislikes Morrigan, correct? He doesn’t know anything about her other than the fact that she’s now his uncle’s protégé. Why would that be? Sure, we could chalk it up to him being a kid, but he’s around 13 in Nevermoor, I think that’s a little older than the time kids just decide they don’t like someone. No, what if he felt that way out of fear? What if he felt like, after his parents shipped him off, the only family he had contact with was trying to replace him?
It’d make for him to avoid his knack like he does, too. If he got basically pawned off because of it, wouldn’t it make sense that he’d try to use it as little as possible, like with his eyepatch? Sure, Jupiter is also a witness, he could teach Jack how to move past the discomfort and time things out in a way that’s sustainable. But would Jack want to learn? If his knack was deemed too much work for even his parents, would he even want to try and master it?
Food for thought.

What's your favorite type of moth and why?
THANK YOU ANON THIS IS THE BEST QUESTION!!!
If I had to choose a singular species, my favorite is Bombyx Mori - the Domestic Silkmoth! These tiny fluffballs were domesticated about 5200 years ago in China, and are the only fully domesticated insect. They are one of the most popular moths, and for good reason. Just look at that chubby body and those beautiful eyes!
Tumblr media
Chances are you may recognize this moth, though have heard it called by a different name: the Venezuelan Poodle Moth. This incorrect label is due to their resemblance to the aforementioned poodle moth, which is actually an unknown species that has only ever been documented once back in 2009.
Tumblr media
I also really love these little guys because they’re super fun to draw! I love doodling silkmoths on my notes or when I’m waiting between classes. They are composed of such lovely shapes that are easy for me to draw and pose in interesting ways. They just look so sweet and I love them so so much.

Do you think Gortash has a dad bod or is he ripped? I would think he is kinda ripped (he does have 14 strength after all) but not roman-god-abs kind of ripped.
Wonder if he even has the time to workout? I can see the side for chubby Gortash with the over indulgence as a noble what not but he gives me the vibe that he stays somewhat fit to keep up with appearances (and does lots of work at the foundry himself)
Love this question because I think about this a lot (and I agree with you). From his character model we know he’s quite lean, and from the lore we know he (at least at some point in his life) had “burly” arms. Plus: Dude was running heists and arms dealer networks. I’m sure he has some good strength stats.
Personally I think he’s probably got great core and shoulder/upper arm strength, and I’d guess from a mix of tinkering/building, archery, and/or working out. I doubt he’d lift weights but I’m sure he’s getting cardio exercise in.
Does he have a dad bod/belly? I personally don’t see it because I think he’s eating barely enough to sustain himself, let alone put on weight. Not that I would mind. However I could see him get one whenever he’s more settled, so before or (if you hc an AU) after the game events. When he’s not actively trying to overthrow the realm, basically.
I do think his thighs are weak as fuck though. This man does not know leg day. If he needs to sprint it’s over for him.

So I think I remember you replying to someone Dr rabbit weapon would be a screwdriver, what would Tarbell weapon be like if he was to hurt someone?
I know that Tarbell wouldnt have access to this item since Tony left it at home, but tony did have that metal baseball bat be brought with him to meet with crystal so. maybe that
I've never imagined his role in the killer rabbits to be like. a killer at all though, so he might literally just use whatever is around if he truly has to

Oh merciful and generous author, heed my plea, mine pockets are empty and cold, with not a single coin in sight. But in order to repay my life debt with Doc, I must donate material wealth to his quaint clinic, how oh author, does one go about collecting such wealth in the vast and mysterious land of Signal Hill?
Tragically, I'm not sure I can help you much here... although it wil be in the game eventually, thus far you can not donate to the clinic. I know... I've broken your heart.
However, I can maybe help you get some cash! It is intentionally difficult and obscure to get wealth in the demo- every jump in wealth is a big change and should have similar gravity, of course. Since the current demo is just the game's introduction and we haven't even gotten into the main meat of the plot yet, I've kept ways of getting wealth to a minimum.
The easiest way to get from 0 to 1 is to sell your painkillers to the guy in the warehouse in Skid Row. You'll only get a small payment, but that's enough to get you from 0 to 1.
The second easiest way is to go for the Test Run with KC, and convince her to pay you for it. You'll get a tidy little paycheck from that. Too tidy actually, you just made me realize that I set that to a large payout when it should be small. Whoops! That'll get fixed in the next update.
You may also do it in a sneaky way... when you go to Waveform with Yvette, you can get him to give you some cash with which to buy a drink for Yasmin. If you find a way to avoid paying, and then later claim to Yvette that you used all the cash on the drink, you can get away with a bit of a windfall.
And once you've gotten some, you can try gambling at the casino to get more. If you try to cheat the system, though, or if you get too lucky, you might get in trouble.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, though. Because there's not much wealth to get in this early section, there's not much to spend it on! So unless you're aiming for the coveted 4 wealth crocs, you can probably survive with just one or two for now.

AWW wait does raj have a little baby crush on bowie in this AU? or does he not know what crushes are yet
Yeah, he does!! :) He doesn’t quite realize that it’s a crush because he’s nine years old and he doesn’t have any kind of frame of reference for it, but he definitely has a little puppy love crush on Bowie.

Random ask time: what is your favourite book?
THIS IS SO HARD OMG. It's so difficult to narrow it down to one favourite book. But I think I'll say Six of Crows, because that's def one of my favourites. I picked it up on a whim in 2016 and just felt like it was an absolute perfect book for me - like ticking all the boxes of my favourite things. It's such a fun concept and the plot is so well done and I love the characters, and everyone I have given it to has adored it as well.

For the ask game: 🛠
🛠Is there a scene or anything in the WIP you are struggling with right now?
The premise for one of my WIPs is that Feyre travels back in time to retrieve a spellbook that was destroyed in a fire, with the intention being that she'd meet young, pre-High Lord Rhys and get into some shenanigans with him. But Feyre's so competent I'm struggling to give her compelling/believable reasons to actually need Rhys's help 😂

Wait, also, what do you MEAN there are implications of Aldrich having eaten Nito and Priscilla too.....?
Oh boy this is a very interesting question...
You see, it is very likely Aldrich DID get ahold of Nito... however, he probably didn't put much of a fight. Heck, I don't think it was even a fight at all. By the time of Dark Souls 3, my man has been dead for a veeeery good while. However, it doesn't mean Aldrich couldn't get to eat the scraps that remained of him and absorb some of his power this way. He doesn't seem picky, he totally eats the bones too ahahah
Priscilla, though, is very strange. It's true that Aldrich can use the Lifehunt Scythe, and from how he uses Gwyndolin's attacks we can surmise he learns new moves from devouring powerful beings (it's also why it's likely he consumed Nito's remains since he uses his Gravelord Sword)...
However, Priscilla lives banished in the Painted World of Ariamis, and seems to have been present in the Painted World of Ariandel as well. These worlds are separate from the "main" reality of Dark Souls and there doesn't seem to be proof that Aldrich went into the painting to eat Priscilla specifically. Sulyvahn DID come from there though, so who knows for sure?
Adding to this, the description of that miracle mentions Aldrich devouring Gwyndolin and getting the vision of a "young, pale girl in hiding" which I assume is Yorshka... this just seems to suggest a deep connection between Priscilla, Gwyndolin and Yorshka. It makes sense too, considering their reptilian features.
It's unclear if Priscilla is their mother or their sister, but they are undeniably similar and connected. Aldrich ate Gwyndolin, obtained a miracle that mimics Priscilla and got a vision of Yorshka... there's still a lot of room for speculation...

OC question! Which of your OCs enjoys belly rubs the most, if any?
Oh, Sunshine, hands down. He's got a sensitive enough belly to come from a good long rub if he's full enough, actually. But it's nice to just relax with one, too.

Was https://www.tumblr.com/spacecolonie/707179852368953344/in-memoriam-print-speedpaint-video a reference to Shadow of the Colossus? Like with how after the Colossi are felled, their bodies remain and nature kinda grows around them? That was the first thing that came to mind
It wasn't intentional, but it's definitely an apt comparison!! I was mainly thinking about the general reclamation of nature you see in a lot of post-apocalyptic settings (I was listening to the nier automata OST specifically lmao); the whole symbolism of the earth retaking what once was™ is a big fav, so given the themes of Frontiers in general it seemed like a good match

Finally finished Fugue last night. Going into it, I didn't know what to expect. How can I possibly get excited about that Next Chapter button knowing Sam Shepard wont be there? But the story you've written in spite of that is so engaging, emotional and absolutely necessary. I needed to see Kaidan grow outside of Sam's influence to develop a stronger appreciation for his character. The way the narrative culminates in a Sharjila-adjacent scenerio (including stakes-raising characterization of would-be victims) that offers Kaidan an opportunity to trust his strengths, then REWARDS him for it? Amazing!
Thank you for writing it.
I have one question. Joker's perspective was sorely missed (tho I'm sure its exclusion was no accident). I was wondering if you could tell us about his point of view, particularly in regard to the night he invited Kaidan to the bar. Why did he do that?
THANK YOU!
Fugue was an extremely important story to me to write for a lot of reasons, but Kaidan having the chance to come into his own and discover his strengths was a big one. I fiercely missed Sam every step of the way, and the way he haunts the fic is in no small part because I needed him to be there in some way, just like Kaidan did.
As for Joker's perspective, I almost didn't include that scene at the bar. I wasn't sure if the story needed it, but I had circled back to Tali, Liara, and Garrus, and I didn't love leaving Kaidan and Joker's fractured friendship out in the wind.
The simple answer as to why Joker wasn't more involved in Fugue is because it is very much Kaidan's story - and Joker simply didn't factor into this part of it. His own journey after Alchera is very independent of Kaidan's, so detouring to Joker's POV was ultimately telling a different story. Conversely, exploring Hackett and Liara were part of Kaidan's narrative, because their decisions and actions had direct or indirect impacts on him.
Why did Joker invite Kaidan to that bar? Probably for a couple of reasons. A few people have wondered if Joker was going to tell Kaidan he'd been approached by Cerberus, which is entirely possible. It's also possible he suspected Kaidan is who spoke up for him and helped him avoid a court martial, and thought maybe it was a peace offering.
But ultimately, I think that on the first anniversary of the Normandy's destruction he just...didn't want to be alone. All the people he would have wanted for company were either dead or not available (Dr. Chakwas would have been his first choice, but she was on Mars), and I think, when you're grieving something you can't get back, the allure of reaching out to someone you used to be close to would be a powerful one - especially when you don't really have anyone else to go to.
I very deliberately had Dr. Chakwas tell Kaidan at the beginning of Fugue that "Lieutenant Moreau does not make friends easily, but he has found one in you," because the notion that their friendship runs much deeper than it appears - even to either of them - felt very important to me, given what was coming. The fracturing and eventual repair of that friendship is something I have always wanted to explore.
I think Joker knew that meeting would be a disaster, but he asked for it anyway because part of him was desperate for it not to be.
