Mystical story. About nightmares. Main hero is being hunted by the same nightmare every time. And visions of hell. Black bridge – it is a thing he can see in a full darkness all the time.

Videogame is made in console view. Text at the screen. And program reads the user`s choice. Game is about less than 5 minutes.

We took the lift and Detective shoved me the report. He pulled out his mouth unlighted cigarette and twirled it between his fingers, as always did when he couldn't smoke but wanted to.

— I am to take coffee. Put it on the desk, and you may be free for today.

What? Did I hear right? Gosh, don't tell me that it's because of the incident down the morgue. Well, maybe my stomach isn't that strong, but what a shame would it be to back home just in the middle of the first day?

— Detective Green… Let me stay here, I want to help. Sir, I'm fine!

— Oh, really? — he raised an eyebrow with a doubt, and continued in his indifferent manner – And what am I supposed to do if you'll start trying to die again? You've said that bodies doesn't scare you, haven't you?

Well, it's hard to predict such a thing, when you haven't had such experience! Damn, just let me stay… My mom will eat my guts if she found out that I messed up!

— Sir, it wouldn't happen again! I promise…

Detective smirked for a second, and then his expression froze again.

— Fine, – he muttered, putting the cigarette in his mouth – As you wish, kid. — turned around and walked away, flicking a lighter.

Perfect… Why, only when I think it can't get any worse, it did can worse! Shameful stupid day number three thousand four hundred sixty-seven. And first shameful stupid day at work. Good job, Sam. You're doing well… At least, you're not crying at your workplace, dude.

I put the report on Detective's desk and took the case. Caroline Bright, twenty-six, white, American, and dead… From her neighbors' words, she was a prostitute. And the room ranted in her pimp's name, as officers got. Sounds like cold case. She could be murdered by anyone… Client, pimp, colleague, or, even a client's wife. I looked around, and haven't noticed Detective Green, opened the autopsy report. Speedily running through the text, I found out that Caroline murdered by fourteen stab wounds. Gosh, what the hell is going on, in this city! What did she have done to deserve such awful death..?

I just managed to put the report down, and the Detective entered, carrying a cup of coffee. He nodded to me and sat down at the desk.

— Take a sit, kid. Let's see…

Curse of Sands – text adventure about mystery of ancient Egypt. In a country of forever sand. In endless desert. You have found unknown before pyramid. You have seen it in a dreams. And locals told you, that you need to be carefully with this.

Text adventure gives you some options in some places. You are reading text story and moving forward by script. In some places there is a choice. Way you choose, will affect the ending and some twists of the plot. Game is in retro style. Just like old text stories for old computers, like 286, 386 processors, maybe some 8 bit computers of Soviet Union, it can be such game in theory.

one of my not-so-favorite things about rrverse fanfics is how often percy is described as clueless. like, i know it's all in good fun and for comedic value, but percy is incredibly perceptive. for the first twelve years of his life, he was raised in an abusive household and was consistently surrounded by people who would belittle him for shit he couldn't control. so being perceptive was likely a defense mechanism. then he was immediately thrust into a world with threats of godly proportions and monsters with the intent to kill. so it quickly became a survival tactic. the only time percy has ever been clueless was about people being romantically interested in him, which could definitely be chalked up to low self-esteem.

This definitely won't happen but it would be so fucking funny if they arrive at the planet Thrawn and Ezra were stranded on and it turns out that these two are best friends now and Thrawn is completely on Ezra's side.
