There, on Harry’s outer arm, is an intricate tattoo of a large ship. A large ship which perfectly complements the compass tattoo hidden on Louis’ own forearm.
“It’s that one.” Louis breathes, reaching out a shaky finger to point to the ship on Harry’s left outer arm.
“You’re sure?” Harry asks.
Louis nods. He’s never been more sure of anything in his life.
He has found his soulmate.

Louis prides himself on not backing down from uncomfortable situations normally, but this isn’t one of those times. He turns on his heels, cautious not to knock over anything a second time. One public embarrassment is enough for the day. He’s out the door in seconds, red faced with heat settling in his temples and cheeks.
“What just happened?” he huffs out.
This was a short and sweet story filled with new and evolving relationships, vivid and lush scenery, and a cute and classic storyline. There are some super amusing moments that will make you chuckle!

This is a delightful fic with plenty of banter and sex appeal, just right for readers in the mood for something flirty and fun.

Liam knows that Harry, the innkeeper’s son, dislikes him. He won’t go so far as hate, since he doesn’t seem capable of anything stronger than stirring the soup cauldron or, more importantly, rolling a casket of mead into place behind the inn’s serving counter. Hate is definitely too strong a word. Annoyed, maybe. Disapproving, definitely.
But Liam doesn’t concern himself with the intractable approval of the innkeeper’s son. He’s here for a job, not to fraternize. In fact, if there’s one thing he’s learned from his travels since he’s picked up his bow and his sword, it’s that making friends with the locals only makes his job more complicated. And Liam has never liked complicated.
This fic does a really good job of immersing you in its fantasy world of witches and hunters and magic, dropping you right into a tale that’s, at times, both gruesome and haunting. But the underlying tension between the main characters and their shifting understanding of each other truly brings a light that shines in the darkness and ultimately leaves you wanting more.
