I'm a curious cat from TeamKM and it's highly interesting to read what u think so I got some questions. You said with TK it's about the development and subtle nuances, so I want to know 1. Do u think there were no relationship developments (platonically bc you don't see them romantically of course) or changes in KM's relationship at all and if u did what were they? & 2.What were the relationship developments/changes/subtle nuances that u saw with TK?

To answer your first question ofcourse there has been much development and shift in the dynamic between jikook. It’s a natural course and testament of a strong relationship to go through change as the individuals grow and experience different things.The way I see it when jikook first met, jungkook was a shy teenager, jimin’s over the top skinship would sometimes make him uncomfortable which people often mistake for him being “shy” and “having a crush”. He would push other members off as well or become rigid if they touched him etc with the exception of tae. However as he came out of his shell with the help of tae (and ofcourse other members but we can’t deny tae had the biggest impact on him, at least at that time) he became more comfortable with their touches. Jimin also calmed down with his excessive touching since he grew out of his “jungkook reminds me of my younger brother” phase and started seeing him as more of an equal. During 2015-2016 jikook became very close, jungkook started seeing him almost as an inspiration due to his work ethic and exceptional skill on stage. They also started spending more times together and to this day have a very strong bond. I can’t sense any romantic vibes from it since it reminds me of a merge of jungkook’s relationship with yoongi and jin (if you’d like to know more about that please dm).

As for the taekook, their relationship does not go through the natural developmental course like jikook’s. Of course there’s a lot of growth but it starts off as being very touchy and then mellows out over the years which is opposite to how jikook’s relationship went. Imagine your self in jungkook’s shoes, your a shy, hormonal teenager, barricading yourself from human touch with the exception of one person, that one person cuddles you, kisses your ear, ruffles your hair. If you paid attention to jungkook’s reactions, you’d see he would become pliant under tae’s touches and smile a shy smile, keeping his eyes rooted to the ground whereas with others he would become rigid or try to throw their hands off his shoulder etc. It’s very natural for someone to develop a crush on an attractive individual at that age when they constantly give them such attention. Their relationship started off ablaze and mellowed down to one of respect and deep love along the years which is evident now with them not feeling the need to do big displays of affection to show their love like the other members do and most of their moments are extremely subtle. For example during burn the stage episode 3 we saw tae nowhere near jungkook after he fainter but later found him waiting outside for him and even making the ‘ily’ sign to jungkook on stage which jungkook touched. It was so subtle and loving and speaks volumes of taekook’s dynamic. If you pay attention you’d see taekook has the most unique dynamic among all the members. They’re all touchy, they all go on trips, they all tease each other but with taekook, along with all that there’s also a soundless understanding, a need to reassure how the other is without seeking them out which is demonstrated in burn the stage episode 4 and many times before. There’s of course much that occurred in order to lead to the relationship taekook have today which I will explain in my ‘big’ taekook analysis post I keep thinking about but never get the time to write.
