to make up for taking so damn long to respond, here are a couple lil hcs for f!reader & Alejandro!

similar to Heather, you see right through all his charisma and lies

you smelt bullshit from a mile away and you let him know as much at any given possible opportunity

you were nice and maybe a little standoffish to other contestants, but to him? You were outright cruel

then again, that's what drew you to him in the first place <3

puts his charms on HEAVY when talking to you (or just in general) just bc he knows it annoys the shit outta you and he loves getting you worked up. He'll even say that to your face

anytime he flirts with anyone, you visibly gag (to which he'll just tease you that you're jealous which makes you gag further)

you swear up and down that you two are sworn ENEMIES, but he likes to go around and tell everyone that you're secretly dating and to not tell anyone

(this ofc gets out cause no one can keep a goddamn secret to save their lives and oh ho ho lemme tell ya. When you found out he was telling people you two were secretly dating, you gave him a black eye that lasted at least a week)

"My mother has always told me to date strong, independent women." Was his response to you punching him

he can tease and charm you all he wants, but the second anyone else does it? Yeah, nice Ale goes away

this ofc pisses you off cause "I can handle myself just fine, Alejandro."

he's always unfazed by anything you do (or at least pretends to be), but nothing gets him angrier than seeing you flirt with other contestants

he, ofc, can't show this though, so he'll just have a private "chat" with whoever it is later

Chris, being the scheming demon he is, will sometimes make it to where you two are on the same team

at first, you are bitching up a storm and he won't stop smiling, but when the challenge actually starts, you two are a monster of a team. Everyone is definitely scared of you two (Owen makes a comment that you two make an awesome power couple and you glare at him)

Im counting this as an ask - you've picked... The Team Escope TDWT AU!

This is 100% based on both another AU idea i had in my head (Hbombs vs Alenoah TDWT final four) and a take on @/real-total-drama-takes about Eva being on TDWT.

The main gist is instead of Tyler and Sierra getting on Team Chris, Eva and Izzy do, and the team is instead called "Team Escope". Alejandro's already a bit thrown by his team's general chaos and by Noah's presence (since he was Chris's assistant during the taping of Total Drama Dirtbags, a show Chris briefly tried filming that got cancelled before the mid season.), but he starts warming up to them while he tries to work on getting the other teams eliminated.

However, things don't turn out how he'd hoped since Team Victory, lead by the surprisingly competent duo of Lindsay and Harold, isn't failing nearly as badly as Alejandro expected. In fact, Harold makes it to the merge, and we get a final 7 of Alejandro, Noah, Eva, Harold, Heather, Gwen and Courtney (Heather was eliminated previously, got back during Niagra Brawls).

Gwen and Courtney get the double elimination, Noah and Alejandro aren't on amazing terms currently, Harold and Heather are seriously teaming up and seem to actually be friends, and Eva mostly just hopes she's still got a chance to win. After African Lying Safari where Alejandro and the Hbombs got immunity, Eva gets the boot; Harold and Heather want Eva out since out of the two she's the better player, Alejandro voted Eva because he wants to kiss be in an alliance with Noah, and Noah and Eva voted for Noah (Noah because he lowkey wants out and thinks he's going out anyways, Eva because she still wants to win and knows Noah would probably understand).

After Drumheller, Harold gets blown up and is booted instead of Alejandro (who had gotten the most votes. Even Noah voted for him.). Heather's trying extra hard to get in the Final 2 now, especially since she's motivated by the power of friendship now and Alejandro and Noah are still dancing around eachother (in a way similar to what happends in Slippery Slopes) Until they all reach Hawaii and Heather and Alejandro are both participating in the Tie-breaker for their last shot at competing in the final challenge. Alejandro wins the tie-breaker, they do the final challenge, kiss at the top of the volcano and Noah wins the season.

I think in general Eva being in TDWT would cause interesting changes in the dynamics of Team Escope since she's much less trusting than Tyler and even stronger than him, although she does have a weakness for pretty boys (bisexual moment). I think Alejandro in this AU has to rely on his team's strengths wayyy more than in canon, and in turn actually befriends most of these weirdos. keyword is most (he's still not a fan of Owen).

OTHER BIG CHANGES ARE:

-Tyler straight up does not compete

-Obviously Harold making it to the merge with her mad skills

-Trans Harold is real, she comes out mid season lol

-DJ, Lindsay and Harold are the team Victory trio for a couple of episodes

-Cody gets eliminated in episode 3 instead of Harold

-Owen gets the boot in episode 10

-Heather gets booted in I See London

-Sierra and Duncan both get eliminated earlier, both pre merge :

Sierra gets the boot instead of Tyler in canon maybe? Gwourtney happends in this AU so they don't vote for eachother and instead for her.

Duncan just does NOT mesh well with Team Escope's entire dynamic. Eva doesn't like him because of course she wouldn't, Noah doesn't like him because he's a dick in general and Alejandro doesn't like him because his borderline obsession with bullying Harold is costing them challenges + he's friends with Courtney in this AU too so that's an additional reason to dislike him.

-i uh, i haven't thought about when Izzy gets out? maybe she's the last out before the merge? but she does have to kiss Eva before that happends soooo (i AM inserting Evzy in this and you can't stop me)

noahs line in before we die "but first we must cease dropping, our goal here would be stopping," is one of the best lines to come out of total drama imo

for a guy who (maybe?) doesn't like music (i couldn't find anything online about it, i might have just missed it but its a popular consensus in the fandom), he's pretty good at coming up with great lyrics on the fly and a decent singing voice too

I think the consensus mostly comes from the fact that Noah's a sarcastic, lazy little prick (affectionate). Combine that with the fact that the singing was mandatory during World Tour and Noah clearly doesn't like being forced to do things, it makes sense that the assumption would be that he doesn't like music. Not helped by the fact that a good amount of of his singing lines are sing-talking rather than pure singing.

But yeah, that line definitely slaps. It doesn't surprise me that the nerd who likes literature is fairly adept at coming up with rhymes. And what are lyrics, if not just advanced rhymes? It's proof that he can put effort into things when he wants to. Even when his life's in danger. To me it feels like an underrated Noah line. Though that isn't quite fair for me to say since I don't exactly know what is or isn't underrated.

...Though 'Come fly with us, come die with us' is my personal favorite. It's just the peak line that encapsulates World Tour. From commenting on Chris' sadism, to highlighting Noah's inherent laziness with only switching up one word, to the way he holds the note at the end.

Does Courtney’s abuse and behavior in TDA was excusable to prevent Gwuncan happening? Do you ever think she truly loved him or she was just pretending? I really hate how defensive Courtney Stans are like they were trying to paint her as an "Innocent do nothing wrong snowflake" and Gwen the Ad0l H*tl3r just for liking Duncan than everyone else! People need to realize that NOBODY likes to be changed by others! What Courtney did was convenience just to win , NOT LOVE!

All 3 of them had a hand in the love triangle mess. (Skip to the TLDR if you don't feel like reading)

Courtney: While I do think she did love him, her competitive drive took control and she began to focus only on the game. Being cheated out of Island made her lose sight of what was important. What was once genuine love turned into the idea of a love that she projected onto Duncan, but wasn't who Duncan was. She pushed him away which led to him chasing after a much more down to earth girl, Gwen.

Duncan: Duncan wasn't that much of a saint either. He cheated on his girlfriend. But my gripe is that he didn't try to officially end it with Courtney before kissing Gwen. He took the coward's way out and refused to come clean, barely offering an apology once he was outed.

Gwen: I don't blame Gwen for liking Duncan. I do blame her for acting impulsively and kissing him while knowing he was still technically with Courtney, refusing to come clean, and then refusing to own up to it. She didn't even try to push him away or form a genuine apology.

TLDR: Yes, Courtney did love Duncan, but she took him for granted when Action came around. Because of that, Duncney was destined to break up, regardless if Gwuncan happened.

1. Favorite thing about them. His actually funny one-liners from Action! Seriously, a lot of them are actually hilarious.

2. Least favorite thing about them. I mean, it’s obviously the cheating. Plus the transphobic comment was also not cool but I feel that’s more of a writing issue than a character issue.

3. Favorite line. *sees Bridgette and Geoff making out* “uh, I don’t think this is the kind of action Chris had in mind?” Or the ghost story in The Sucky Outdoors

4. brOTP. The trio between him, Geoff and DJ! I LOVED this dynamic in TDI and I’m really sad it wasn’t a thing after Island.

5. ОТР. I will always be a Duncney stan, (problematic fave), but I recently got into Duncan and Scott! This would be SUCH a funny pairing.

6. NOTP. Oh jeez, there are so many options. The thing is that you CAN actually make good arguments for a lot of ships with Duncan! My personal least favorite is DuncanXLindsay. Just… there’s no chemistry there

7. Random HC. Duncan has SERIOUS internalized homophobia. Growing up in a family of cops would probably do that to you.

8. Unpopular opinion. He was eliminated too early in All Stars, we FINALLY were learning something interesting but no, of course that means he’s going to get eliminated.
